Restaurant Uddin & Uddin in Frankfurt am Main

A complete disaster. €4.90 for a small cappuccino that was only half full. Card payments cost an extra euro. Of course, they only tell you that when you're paying. On top of that, it smells like deep fryer oil.

I didn't eat anything, just wanted to pass the time, so I had a drink (twice the same experience, twice the same "server"): unfriendly and bad-tempered, even though the terrace was almost empty. I might have had a second glass, but not if they were charging me right away.

Very rude staff, I myself am Croatian, but the entire shift that speaks that language is very rude, long wait for service even though the restaurant was quite empty, the waitress who served us (with glasses) very very unkind, I even heard them commenting on other guests and saying that they are busy with their engagements, all in all, this is not a catering establishment that is run as if every guest is welcome, the owner of this facility is lucky to be located in Banhof and to welcome other guests every day, because one guest who entered here once will certainly never again! We spontaneously stopped by for breakfast this morning. Unfortunately, we didn't like the following points. - Price/Performance The breakfast is expensive. We were satisfied with the omelet. However, we weren't satisfied with the "big breakfast." It was very small and clearly of poor quality. We would have expected much more for the price. It was also presented rather carelessly. - Service Unfortunately, very unfriendly and inflexible. Apparently, requesting an extra fried egg wasn't possible (although fried eggs are on the menu). The service was also simply unfriendly. Sitting outside is actually quite nice at first. But it seems more focused on quantity than quality. Conclusion: It's certainly fine for a quick coffee. I would never go there for food again.

We were very dissatisfied with the service; they were simply unfriendly and rude. As a waitress, you shouldn't be bothering guests. These employees are incapable of dealing with customers. They should be fired or, as a last resort, given training... Disaster!

Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience. When I entered the restaurant, my mother and I were rudely approached by the waitress when we politely asked if we could sit down freely. After being seated we were completely ignored for over 15 minutes, even though the staff were visibly doing nothing and instead preferred to chat behind the counter. We had a strong impression that our foreign appearance might have played a role. We've never experienced anything like this - a restaurant where you feel unwanted and aren't even served. We left disappointed. Definitely not a recommendation for us.

Had a stressful few days and ate an incredibly sick breakfast here. Mo was simply the best man. The mango spritzer wasn't available, and Zack simply conjured up something new. (Side recommendation: mango juice with a little blackcurrant juice in it → sick, Baba) Real talk, it's probably easily overlooked in the hustle and bustle of the train station, but no shit, stop in here and really unwind. Mo is super friendly, gives really good recommendations, and creates a Baba atmosphere. Go to Mo. Everyone🫶

Horrible service. I ate, waited a while because I had to wait for the train and was treated very badly by the waitress, for no reason at all. I felt extremely badly treated for no reason at all. I even paid for the service. But here's a tip: don't go in. Racist people and a terrible, run-down restaurant.

The server was courteous and very professional. The restuarant has a great atmosphere away from the crowd going in and out of the train station. I got the beef goulash soup and bread, which was very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

DANGER!! Today, October 20, 2024, I came to your restaurant at the main train station in Frankfurt. I went into the restaurant and went to the register to order an espresso macchiato and orange juice. The gentleman who was working told me in a very rude way with these exact words: “You should have sat down and waited for me to come over so you could order.” I then told him that I wanted an espresso machiato and orange juice. But when I said espresso macchiato, I didn't even get to say orange juice because the gentleman interrupted me and said, "I have to run now, just for your one coffee." I just said: Unfortunately, that's your job. When he brought me coffee he very rudely asked me for €3. He told me these exact words: “You have to give me €3 for that.” I told him that I would also like to order orange juice. When he brought me orange juice, I gave him 20 euros for both drinks. He said; “6+3 is 9” and he charged me 9 euros for all of the above and gave me 11 euros for the rest. I received a bill for the coffee (3€) but no bill for the orange juice. When I looked at the menu on your online site, it said that orange juice costs €0.5-5.70. Afterwards I went back to the cash register at the restaurant to ask how much orange juice cost. When I was there the gentleman in question said to me: “What do you need, we don’t have WiFi here?” He repeated this about WiFi three to four times since I've been here. Although I didn't even ask him for the WiFi password and didn't need it. And you can imagine what he meant by that... I then asked him how much orange juice costs. He said “€5.90” He didn't give me a bill for the orange juice. He also charged me more than the same juice would cost. He complained loudly that the other guests on the terrace also heard that he had to walk just for the one coffee I had ordered. HE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, lied about the price of the drink and charged me more than what they reported to the tax office and what was on the menu. I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE A BILL FOR THE SAME DRINK

Delicious, cozy and friendly! We went here spontaneously for dinner before our train journey. It's nice to sit and forget that you're at the hectic train station. The food was delicious and typically Hessian. My tip: first have a hand cheese with music, followed by the delicious green sauce. Plus an apple cider - perfect. Large portions, beautifully prepared and the prices are more than fair. The ladies were very friendly and attentive, made us feel welcome and comfortable! Keep it up! Thank you 😀

I've been there several times and it's always been good, but this morning it was a disaster!!! Opening time from 8:00 a.m., opened at 8:10 a.m. wanted to have breakfast but the chef was missing and therefore there were no rolls. At 8:30 a.m. the first information: the cook has to take the children to school... it's still possible, I don't have any understanding of that. Finally ordered a big breakfast at 8:40 a.m. 08:59 Breakfast served My train left at 09:15. The breakfast was ok and the lady in service was very nice. For a restaurant in a main station where guests are under time pressure, this service was more than inadequate!

The woman who took our order was the most rude person I've seen in a long time. When she realized we wanted only drinks, she threw the menu violently onto another table and cussed. Later, she laid the drinks down so violently that she spilt a bunch of it. I bet she is the owner, otherwise she would have been fired a long time ago. At least I hope so. Avoid this place at all costs.

An oasis of calm in Frankfurt hbf. Ideal for a snack,meal or drink away from the main concourse, especially if you have a lengthy wait between connections. We had currywurst and bratwurst, both with fries and salad. A decent Italian red wine,too!

Unfriendly behavior when I asked if they spoke English. Bought (despite that) a small ice cream which turned out to be really old. Pointed this out to the staff but they claimed it was done today. It was tough and icy. Too bad they didn't want to fix it somehow.

I came to the restaurant to have a drink before the train, sat at the table and asked the waiter to bring me a menu. I waited 30 minutes and he paid me no attention, even though the person I sat at the table early and arrived similar to what I had already drunk at the table. When I made a comment to the waiter he basically started talking to me in German instead of English, shouting and talking rudely in my direction. He then came to another table and started discussing me with people, provoking them But I didn't like the situation and waited quietly for him to take my order. I raised my hand and did it again. He didn't come towards me but rather approached the girl who was after me. The girl said she was second and had to go first to serve me. The waiter said he didn't want to serve me until the end and I went into the restaurant to ask for a complaint book. It wasn't there, but another person was listening to me and made a comment to the waiter, which he started to get upset about. The waiter didn't apologize. I think if there wasn't so much time before the train I would have called the police because of this treatment of customers and the inaction of the staff who work terribly

I wanted to order with friends today at 12:30, after waiting more than twenty minutes the waiter came and touched me in a very rude manner. When asked not to do that, he responded with “don’t be like that” and general incomprehension. Disgusting. Left immediately. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Ja, es ist im Hauptbahnhof. Vorne drin und auf dem Vorplatz, wo sie einen erstaunlich schönen Biergarten aufgebaut haben. Er ist rundum mit Holz und Pflanzen abgegrenzt, was ihn gemütlich macht und vom hektischen Betrieb abschottet. Man kann dort sehr schön auch länger sitzen, man hat Platz und fühlt sich ungestört und sicher. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise sind vernüftig. Und das Tüpfelchen auf dem i war der tolle Service. Flott, organisiert, sehr charmant und humorvoll. Sogar herzlich, so dass man sich auch als durchreisender Gast sehr willkommen fühlt. Ich war sehr überrascht über die schöne Atmosphäre in dem doch schwierigen Umfeld. Großes Lob. Wenn ich wieder einen längeren Stopp in Frankfurt Hbf habe, weiß ich genau, wo ich hingehe.

Very bad service. Ordered food was not delivered. When asked, they said sorry, sometimes the screen doesn't work properly when ordering. Marginals shouting at guests at the tables is simply tolerated by the Sercoce staff.

And graffiti too 😉, and there is only one toilet 😂, I accidentally went to the toilet with another man because I thought there were cubicles there! But no! Incredible...

Terrible place!!! If you want to ruin your mood, go there! I ordered green tea and they brought me black tea 20 minutes later. OK ! No problem. We ordered still water, ice cream and cappuccino. From the entire order: they brought sparkling water, the ice cream was melted, they mixed up the varieties. I understand, it’s a lot of work, we’ll eat the wrong varieties. I asked to change only the water to still water and off we go! The barmaid, a most unpleasant person, was rude to me, allowed herself to raise her voice, heard from her that everything was wrong with me and it was my fault. I don’t recommend it to anyone!

I looked restaurant that I can eat home made sausage. I found This restaurant in the center train station. It's just a shame that the waitress doesn't speak English. I ate and drank and the price was reasonable.

We relatively spontaneously organized a large event with 70 people in the restaurant. Everything was great! The food in particular was praised several times!! The quality of the food was top and incredibly varied. All wishes were fulfilled and implemented brilliantly!

The service is first class, not something you would necessarily expect for a train station restaurant!

The tables are dirty, not rubbed and worn. The hot chocolate is recommended. The service staff is rude and unfriendly, responds snippily to the guest's requests. The decoration is greasy and dirty. In addition, the radio runs very loudly and is not turned down on request so that quiet conversations are possible, with reference to a quiet room for €99 per hour.

An extraordinarily friendly server brought our coffee to the table -- this is a place where you order at the counter -- and as very helpful in directing us to a washroom located in the restaurant with the same name. The cappuccino we had was very good.
