I was there early in the morning (around 6 a.m.). The store was open according to the website, but it wasn't actually open. The staff made stupid comments and were unfriendly. Very bad impression – I wouldn't recommend it.

Bought a sandwich and coffee at the take away counter. Sandwich was definitely not fresh - tasted like it was from yesterday - and the coffee hadn’t been anywhere close to a coffee bean and tasted …well in fact it didn’t taste at all.

Today I was sold a pizza, and I ate half of it and realized it was probably spoiled. After that, I stopped and realized my stomach was already hurting. I went over and said the pizza wasn't fresh, but they assured me it was fresh, and in the end, they just apologized and didn't even give me a refund, even though it was great last time, so check to see if it's fresh here.

The waitress was very rude. She kept sending WhatsApp messages and combing her braids, without asking if we wanted anything. After a while, I told her what I wanted, one of the hard pastries they have on the counter because you can't even call it pizza. She gave it to me, hard and cold. I asked if she could heat it up for me and she gave me a dirty look. It's a shame to spend €8 on a dry, bad slice of pizza and on top of that, it seems like they're doing you a favor. It's an airport and sometimes that's what it is, but if you're reading this, go to the Burger King next door, at least you know what it's like.

Terrible attitude from waiter. I wanted to sit by the window and he said use another table, asked him politely to clean up and the lazy guy - he said use another table. Took ages to get me my check. Soup was okay so didn’t bother getting anything else. Good he didn’t show the audacity to add a tip for himself when I was paying for the check, he knew he gave a disgrace of service.

Just visited this restaurant. Asked in entering was it table service and it was. We sat for 30min with no service and then a couple that came in after us got served. My sister went to order at counter and was abruptly to to return to table. The restaurant was quite and I counted 6 staff standing around. We then walked out. Best go to Gothe bar down stairs. D

I really enjoyed the Falconis restaurant on the second floor of Frankfurt Airport. Very good and comforting pasta. Good-sized portions. I had two draft beers and was very happy. The price is fair👍

Probably the worst restaurant at airport that I did until now and I travelled a lot! It’s really a shame to have this service and this food quality at such international airport! The guy at the country was so unpolite and didn’t even bother to apologize whereas he burnt the pizza and we had to wait more so he could redo it! Never again

Very poor experience. At the entrance, there was a QR code to scan for their menu, and we used our phone to select what we wanted to order. The cashier asked if we wanted takeaway or to sit inside. Since there were some high chairs available, we said we would sit there. She then told us that we couldn’t order from that menu if we wanted to sit inside, and that the prices on my phone were different. She responded in a very rude and impolite manner. As international visitors, and since this was our first time visiting, we didn’t know there were so many “rules.” To be honest, we won’t come back next time.

The service staff was friendly. However, a crucial ingredient was missing from my dish. After I pointed it out to the staff, they didn't know what the dish should normally look like. However, they took the plate back and replaced it. The truffle sauce was very tasty, but the gnocchi were rather floury. Please note: card payments only.

Service was lackluster; we had to wait a long time, even though there were few customers. The Insalata Pane Rustico was disappointing, consisting only of diced tomatoes, onions, and basil garnish, with a watery dressing and garnished with breadsticks (which looked like pellets). The pizza verdure was delicious and moist with plenty of vegetables.

When we landed at Frankfurt Airport, we were starving, and Falconis hit the spot. They were open early, which was a lifesaver, and we got our food and drinks right away and exactly what we needed before finding out our connecting flight was delayed. What we had: • Double Espresso • Americano • Bergamo • Siena Fast service, great food, and even a Robot waiter!! definitely recommend stopping here if you’re passing through Frankfurt Airport!

Rediculously horrible experience The restaurant was empty, we hv 7 dude together and we seperated in 2 tables , then a male middle age waiter or maybe the manager come to us and says : why cant u all group together and have to some sit here and there ? (With a deep sigh) , well that table only fits 4 people approximately, and we got 7 , but fine , one of my friend scan the QR on the table and it didnt work , amd then he went out for help from the same waiter , he just said : just scan the qr on the desk and take yr seat , this is not Mc.Donald's with a very rude attitude. Then my friend got back and sit af the table , and finally wait until the waiter come close and waved him come for orders , he firstly grumble for why we couldnt make it using the QR and pull out his ordering machine with several deep sighs , my friend was not good at english so he pointed at the menu for a pizza , and the waiter pulls out a question out of nowhere , something like : a Pizza M or mushroom ? We all confused with that so we all shaked our head expressing we are not understanding , and he keep repeating something like " thats not the name , M is the name ... bla bla bla " whatever it seem like a misunderstanding Lastly we finished our orders with only 2 pizza as some of us went out to the open bakery area for the sandwiches which is also a part of the restaurant, it means they were consuming in the same restaurant we are ordering , and after he realise we only ordered 1 pizza , he repeaded 3 times "ONLY 1 pizza thats all ?" Very loudly like we're deaf and he shaked his head and said "only 1 pizza and u guys were trying to occupy 2 table" and then he "shiuuuu" us and did a very disrespectful hand gesture , be noted that the restaurant was empty Tbh if u dont want to serve or earn the money , just say it , this is total disrespect We were traveling 10 days in Ger and everything and every single people were supernice and peaceful , huh guess what , we suffered this right before our flight back home

A waiter I will never forget. This happened back in May at Frankfurt Airport. I originally shared the story on TripAdvisor — but today, July 19 at 12:45, I reread it… and felt the strong need to post it here on Google as well. Some moments of kindness are simply worth sharing twice. ✨ During a layover with my two young daughters, I came across a truly exceptional waiter: kind, humble, and incredibly attentive. He treated the girls like they were his own grandchildren. When something spilled on the floor, I offered to clean it up — but he gently stopped me and said: “You take care of the kids, I’ll take care of this.” And then came the moment that truly moved me: I urgently needed a pharmacy, but there wasn’t one in that part of the terminal. Without hesitation, he offered to speak with his manager and leave the secure area himself to get the medicine — so I wouldn’t have to go through airport security all over again with two small children. 😳 He didn’t even want to give me his name — not out of modesty, but because he didn’t want to stand out from his colleagues. The food was okay. Unfortunately, the service is abysmal. When there are about 10 people in the restaurant and three waitresses just stand around and only come after 10 minutes when you call them and say, "Oh, you haven't ordered yet?", that's simply unacceptable!

Had breakfast and lounged here for several hours while waiting for our flight. Comfortable place to wait and our waiter Fabiano was charming and very accommodating - we’re giving Falconi’s 5 stars mainly because of him! More vegetables with the American breakfast would have been nice, we asked if we could get some mushrooms on the side to go with it but the kitchen wasn’t able to make it happen. Nonetheless, just the place we were looking for to kill time for several hours.

My husband and I were at the airport and just wanted to grab a quick meal before our flight nothing fancy, just something decent to eat while enjoying the view. When I first walked into the restaurant, I asked the waitress where we could sit, and she said, “Feel free to sit wherever you like.” So we chose a table with armchairs arranged like a sofa to be more comfortable even though it was meant for four people. The place was spacious, with plenty of empty tables and very few people around. To our surprise, after we had already settled in, the same waitress came over and rudely told us we couldn’t sit there because it was a “table for four.” We reminded her that she had just told us we could choose any spot, and politely explained that we were planning to order a lot. Still, she ignored us and moved us to a very small table with only two chairs, as if we were doing something wrong. We felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. It was incredibly frustrating … not only because the restaurant was nearly empty and we were paying customers, but because she contradicted herself and made us feel unwelcome. In the end, we left without eating. A truly disappointing experience. We absolutely do not recommend this place due to the poor and disrespectful service. 09/07/2025 … 18h56.

The best experience you can have at an airport! Who would have thought that a restaurant at the airport would offer a culinary highlight? Falconi's far exceeded my expectations and proved that excellent food isn't tied to a specific location. The pasta – especially the Pasta con Gamberi e Rucola – was an absolute taste experience. Perfectly al dente, wonderfully aromatic, and harmoniously seasoned. The shrimp were tender and fresh, the arugula provided a subtle spice, and the entire dish had a depth of flavor rarely found. For me, it was by far the most flavorful pasta I've ever eaten. If this dish were available in my city, I would undoubtedly be a regular. Special praise also goes to Antonio, our waiter. With his charming, warm manner and typical Italian humor, he not only provided excellent service but also generated plenty of laughs at the table. You can feel that he's passionate about his job – a true highlight of the evening! A real insider tip for all travelers – every detour here is worth it!

I can't understand the reviews here... The food was excellent. The service was great, and we immediately felt at home. We also had a fantastic view of the runway. Best airport Italian seafood restaurant in the world so far. It is Milan level quality. IMHO. And not more expensive. PS don’t tell them… My recommendation: bypass the pizza counter. Go sit down in the restaurant. It’s spacious. Take your time if you can. It’s perfect way to get a delicious meal before your international flight. And the food beats any airline lounge anywhere. Oh you have to pay for it!? Yep. And it’s worth it. 😉 All The servers may not speak Italian but they do a great job of communicating and helping you with your order. I’ll come back here anytime I can. I’d call this a Jem for FRA.

The only reason why i give low rating is because after ordering a coffee, waiter told me you can sit max 20 minutes, because you only ordered coffee, and the whole place is full may be 5% :D. But the place looks great, design, furniture etc are nice.

The service at Falconi's is friendly and fast. I was traveling with a group, and though we ordered a variety of dishes, they all arrived at the same time, cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the grilled salmon, flaky and easy to eat with just a fork. The edges had a hint of crispness. The potatoes were delicious, and the cream sauce and spinach tasty. The flavors were mild. Reasonably priced food in an elegant setting for a hot, sit-down meal.

Review for Falconis – Frankfurt Airport I had a disappointing experience at Falconis during a recent stop at Frankfurt Airport. I ordered a Margherita pizza for myself and a salami pizza for a friend. Unfortunately, the staff member with long dreadlocks who served me placed both slices directly on top of each other to heat them up, causing the salami oils to soak into the Margherita slice. As someone who does not eat pork, this was unacceptable. When I politely explained the issue, the server appeared dismissive and unhelpful. She reluctantly replaced the slice but served it cold, clearly showing frustration rather than understanding. I then had to ask another team member — a tall gentleman who was polite and professional — to reheat it properly. Thankfully, he handled it with care and good manners, which I appreciated. This experience left me disappointed, particularly in the handling of a basic dietary preference and the attitude shown. I hope the management addresses the importance of proper food handling and respectful customer service.

A pretty embarrassing experience for another silly American here in Germany. I ordered a meal at this restaurant and right after ordering I jumped on google review and saw tons of bad reviews, so I left without saying a word. The manager of this place actually found me at another restaurant and tried to explain that I had to pay for food I didn’t eat. I was totally confused and so she brought police enforcement, I’ve never been more scared in my entire life! Apparently you can’t just walk out after ordering food it’s against the law in Germany. Not sure if this rule is the same in the US, and if it is, nobody cares. So to avoid the possibility of going to German prison I came back and had my meal. And to my surprise it was absolutely delicious! At first the manager was pissed and she was rude too, but who can blame her really. In the end of it all, the manager was totally understanding and was super kind. P.S I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews for this place, it definitely turns people away from a pretty good restaurant.

Pizza was ok. Nothing special. The server got half my order wrong (ordered a slice of pizza, a Gouda croissant and a pretzel. I received the correct slice, a chocolate croissant and no pretzel). This happened despite me repeating my order twice and the server acknowledging it. Didn't bother raising it since on the bill the items served were put on it and I was off a 14 hour flight from Japan and too tired for this type of stuff.

Even takeaway area customer is able to stay, but the hidden time limited is not display. Just like I read in the reviews, I chose this particular store with the intention of being able to sit down and have a nice view. The sign that separates the "take away" food from the restaurant is placed so far away that the store initially makes a lot of money, but then you don't have the space you wanted. The man who asked us about it was just as unfriendly. Just pure bullshit.

As an employee at Frankfurt Airport you are hard-pressed and used to bad food at overpriced prices, but this beats everything I have eaten in my almost 20 years at the airport. Apparently it was Penne Gorgonzola. At the proud (employee!) price of 16 euros. The penne was anything but al dente, the gorgonzola sauce was so diluted with water that the penne was swimming in it as if it were pasta water, the 3 nuts on top were so sticky sweet that you thought they came from the caramel pot at the Christmas market. I ate 3 forkfuls of the dish and threw the rest away. And I never throw away food because it's food, other places people don't have enough of it. And it was expensive too. But it just wasn't edible. The average eater today is undemanding and is becoming more and more undemanding. Airports are difficult anyway. Which is why I usually eat at home or bring something to work. But today I thought, because I was short on time and really wanted to eat something real, something warm, I would give Falconi's a chance. The opening itself was announced with great fanfare, real Italian-American food, etc. I was there for the first and last time today. It won't matter to Falconi's, they live off the people passing through. But I won't go there anymore and I will strongly advise my colleagues - there are a few hundred of them - not to do so. I shudder just thinking about that pasta I had.

We had a flight on our way and a 2-hour wait, so we decided to sit down and eat something for breakfast. We visited the restaurants on two floors and decided on this one, because they offered an American breakfast - fried bacon, eggs and beans. We didn't wait long for the service and the food arrived very quickly. Everything was very tasty and delicious, a real breakfast. Plus, they have a nice view of the planes. We were very satisfied.

Falconi’s – A Heavenly Surprise at Frankfurt Airport ✈️🍽️ Usually, "airport food" and "heavenly" don’t belong in the same sentence, but Falconi’s at Frankfurt Airport is here to break the rules. After a draining connecting flight, stumbling into Falconi’s felt like discovering an oasis, with food so delicious it felt like our taste buds had won the lottery. Not only was every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, but the prices were surprisingly reasonable especially considering airport standards. This was definitely one of those rare moments where we got both quality and value without feeling robbed before boarding. The friendly, cheerful staff made the experience even better. Their genuine warmth and attentive service turned our layover from exhausting to delightful in no time. A nice place to eat before taking your plane. Way better than BK or fast food. The chicken was well cooked, the sauce tasty. The decor is nice. You can enjoy your lunch with a view over the planes. The kitty robot definitely surprise us and made our day !

Falconi's made our layover in Frankfurt so much better!! Walking through the terminal , I had accepted that we were gonna have to eat a pre made sandwich, but then we found this place! We got the cheeseburger and Parma pizza! It was so good, expensive but we left so happy and full! It was worth it! Really lovely female server and lovely atmosphere! The Sauvignon blanc and beer were lovely too! Excellent restaurant in this airport!

My husband, our 7 month old baby, and I were looking for a comfortable place to sit, since my husband has a back condition. When we arrived on the wheelchair to this place, Jim, the manager assistant guided us to their 2nd restaurant on the 2nd floor, because it had more comfortable sits. He walked us to it, but also helped us with our bags, placed us in a very good spot with comfortable chairs, and brought the baby sit to our table. Truly impressed and thankful for the kindness and proactivity he showed. The sign of a leader (manager) is service, and my husband and I are very grateful. Also, the coffee and food was nice!!!

Horrible food. They used to have a good restaurant here before and now this Falconi serves pure garbage overpriced food. Had a “artisan” cheese burger that tasted equivalent to a microwaved burger. Terrible pizza too.

The entrance to the "restaurant" is a small food stand with some food. One would assume you can get the food and go sit in the restaurant seating area, but no, no takeaway food is allowed from the same shop? What's the logic there? And then they say I can't sit there despite the tens of empty tables. Maybe there should be a sign or something regarding this so others don't make the same mistake and from reading other reviews, looks like it's not just me. The food was OK at best but at least the gentleman working the "takeaway shop" was kind but the restaurant staff were quite rude. Will never go again.

Salmon very tasty and tender. Bruschetta is a matter of taste. Caesar's salad was delicious, although the chicken breast was tender but badly seared. For an airport we were pleasantly surprised. Fast and friendly service with a great view. Gladly again.

Sadly, an obvious non-return-visit business model. Food was very poor, service polite but cheeky - to the point where the server took coins out of my hand to tip hi self (even though the tip was already added on the bill!) You will be much better off worth a sandwich (I made a mistake of probably the worst pizza I had in many years)

You just can’t give a three star review wenn the staff is asking you if you need anything else :D though the only thing is the food sure it’s a airport it will be expensive and im totally fine with it.the hype for food just didn’t match I ordered “Spaghetti poromodo” only resulting into a normal spaghetti taste and small quantity though it was prepared fancy, there were cute robots within making my day Otherwise great place :)

Four of us had a great experience here. Yes it is expensive, but isn't any airport? There is a good food and drinks menu with a fair bit of choice. The service we received from our male server was great. He had a good sense of humour and even sent the robot waiter to serve us. We had a very relaxing time that made our three hour layover go quickly.

Usual high prices, typical airport. The friendliness and service are really subterranean. We didn't realize at all that there was table service in addition to counter sales. No sign, no notice from service. We bought 2 pretzels and 2 coffees for over €30 (!) with the idea of being able to sit there too... Well, even though over 90% of the seats were free, we were forbidden to sit down in an extremely arrogant tone because we had finally paid the reduced prices (30 euros for 2 pretzels and two cups of coffee ;) ).

Strongly recommend avoiding. Restaurant service was slow, waitress was easily distracted, and her attitude was disgusting when she realised I could not tip (I already got stiffed by their ridiculous rate for USD so I couldn't afford to pay more, and even if I could I certainly wouldn't have, given the poor level of service received.) To have my change slammed on the table in front of me and be told I was "not nice" in a loud voice in front of other customers and staff for not leaving a tip is a very poor show of entitlement and frankly if I had not been rushed for my flight I would have sought out the manager directly. The food wasn't even anything that special either. Looking at other reviews I wish I had read them beforehand: I would have profited by going elsewhere.

Good food and the service is friendly and attentive. The decor is done well but the ambience lacks because there’s no music (or it’s turned down so you can’t hear it). It makes you feel like you’re old still cafeteria where you can listen to everyone’s conversation. This place would also do more business if it had an actual bar. Especially in this terminal where the options are a few.

Very very bad experience with this airport outlet. The staff refuse to take our order or acknowledge us despite us telling them we are in a rush. The store manager was kind and brought us in to a table but didn’t want to take our order, saying the waiter will do so. The servers however were not very keen and refused to acknowledge or serve us, telling us wait wait and gave a ‘I can’t help it’ look, when all they did was walk up and down without purpose. We waited for another 5 minutes and we were staring at them, looking for acknowledgement, and the waiter and waitress both rather talked among themselves. We decided to walk out and the store manager tried to call us back. We can’t take the risk to order and then wait how long until our flight timing. Table service is slow in Europe but this is an airport, these staff should be sacked if they continue such behaviour.

Bought pizza and drink asked to sit in. No seating available near pizza counter so I took one of many empty seats in restaurant area. Waitress kicked me out because it's only restaurant seating. I told her, I asked to sit in and there are no other available seats. Regardless kicked me out. Restaurant was also empty, so totally unreasonable. Customer service ability zero. Won't be back.

Avoid this place. The ambiance may look appealing, but the food is disappointing, and there’s a mouse issue. I ordered a Penne Arrabbiata with extra chicken. First, the chicken was undercooked, and while the server kindly offered to remake it, the portion was much smaller than promised. The server offered a discount, but after finishing my meal, I spotted a mouse under the table. I’m now hoping the food was safe. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

We came as a group to an empty restaurant. Only 5 other guests were there. They didn't want to give us tables by the window "if others came." These tables weren't reserved, so we were split up. By the way, no more “others” came. When a coffee drink with soy instead of regular milk was ordered, the gentleman who served us complained because the fully automatic machine couldn't do it all by itself and that would mean more work for him in the kitchen. We were then explained step by step what had to be done for this very complex order (warming up milk extra). Of course we didn't think that was that great because as adults we also know how to make coffee ourselves. It didn't change the preference for soy milk, which was met with great annoyance. Why is a milk alternative offered when you are being bullied into ordering it? In general the service was a bit overwhelmed. Some of the drinks could have been hotter, for example the "hot" chocolate. We mainly ordered pizzas for food. The pizzas were quite unimpressive. Not all of the pizzas were hot, but the special toppings were all the more tasteless. Cheap salami, very raw looking vegetables. The onions tasted of very little, just a little musty. In our opinion, we cannot speak of little Italy. All in all it was easy.....well. We are also aware that different standards apply at the airport, but annoyed staff are a no-go everywhere. The nice furnishings and the great view are a plus.

Nice restaurant at the airport in the international departures area. Italian cuisine. At the entrance there is a display case with ready-made pizzas and sandwiches, then there is a restaurant with waiters. Beautiful view of the runway from the windows. Interestingly, food is delivered and picked up by robot carts. The menu can be read by scanning the QR code. We took carpaccio, ravioli, squid and buffalo with tomatoes. Everything was delicious. I recommend

I wanted to reserve a table by phone. The phone call started with an annoyed “yes?” The phone was then passed on until I had someone on the phone with poor communication. In the end, they didn't want to reserve a table for me on the grounds that they would always somehow find something for two people. Overall, a very unprofessional and not really customer-oriented appearance. I have decided against the restaurant and will eat somewhere else before my flight. It's a shame, because I always had positive experiences with the Kuffler & Bucher team.

A complete disaster. €4.90 for a small cappuccino that was only half full. Card payments cost an extra euro. Of course, they only tell you that when you're paying. On top of that, it smells like deep fryer oil.
