Very attractive restaurant, excellent quality, large selection, nice staff - everything is well rounded👌

The complete catastrophe: Started with the ordered table for 12 people (ages between 25-65), which was not written down. The service was extremely unfriendly when taking drinks and already annoyed when ordering food. Drinks were not served, but guests were expected to pass the drinks one by one at the large round table. Two apple spritzers were served, without carbonation, although the first one had already been criticized (no carbonation). Eating took about an hour. One meal even came half an hour later (without an apology), so some of the others were already finished. . When the food was distributed, the situation escalated; the "non-German-speaking waiter" had massive difficulties distributing the chosen dishes because she threw around numbers in broken German, which of course not every guest had in mind. Confused, some of the dishes were then handed over to other guests in the restaurant. After a short time, the "boss" probably came: he was furious and complained to us about the dishes that had not been accepted and which we could not assign. 1. The empty plates remained on the table for a long time. 2.Drinks were no longer available after the dispute. 3. Payment was not possible with the Visa card, of course with a long face - Of course there were no appropriate tips. 4. The fortune cookie was given with a heavy heart. Conclusion: I have never experienced such poor service and the behavior of what was probably the "boss". For us it was a unique experience and definitely the last time.

An Asian restaurant that surprised me very positively. I originally wanted to go to the Italian Solopaca, but unfortunately it was closed. I ended up here by chance and haven't regretted it. A very tasty lunch for under 10 euros and very nice and attentive staff ensured a pleasant stay. I can recommend Tsingtau Green to anyone who likes Asian cuisine.

We were at Tsingtau Green today - more by chance than planned, but totally thrilled! The food was served quickly & hot. We didn't have to wait long and the service was always attentive and asked several times if everything was OK. Starters (soup and dumplings) were really good. The soup was hot and tasted very fresh. The dumplings were also well filled and were nicely seasoned. Main course was also very good! Chicken was well cooked and not dry, the vegetables were fresh and the red curry sauce was really spicy. Not spicy or similar. Dessert was the successful conclusion to the dinner. Baked banana with not too much batter and served nice and crispy. The cappuccino with it was also 100%. Simply great! In general, the price/performance ratio was great and the portion sizes were great! Unfortunately, the only negative point is that there was often a cold draft at our table when guests entered or left the restaurant. Maybe this could be prevented with a curtain so that the wind doesn't blow in. We'll definitely come back when we're in Jever again!

We have been satisfied, loyal customers for years and are now in doubt as to whether this will remain the case in the future. The restaurant has changed with the renovation - its greatest strength remains the delicious food and the new variety of menus. However, the service suffered; especially at peak times. You now need patience and sometimes equanimity to endure a multi-course meal. The service is sometimes overwhelmed and sometimes simply inattentive. Today we lost patience before dessert and paid at the counter. Maybe on a future visit our dessert will come with the second round of drinks - unfortunately we didn't get either today! The one star for the service is more due to old solidarity and less due to the performance shown this evening.

One thing from the outset: The staff were fairly addressed by us BEFORE this review about the points of criticism listed below and therefore had plenty of opportunity to apologize for the lousy service and the rip-off, which of course never happened. We visited this location this evening with 3 people after a break of around 2 months and have to unanimously say that we are more than just disappointed with this visit. Absolutely inattentive, but above all very unfriendly staff at all levels of catering services. And if you, as a catering business, allow the staff in sambalettes and leggings to serve customers for dinner like this, then all control has actually been lost... Then to the food itself: This restaurant serves, among other things, a multi-course menu “Tsingtau Platter” at a price of EUR 18.50 per person. advertised, which can only be ordered for 2 people or more. Since there were three of us, we ordered this accordingly. What we received as a main course for 3 people was exactly a plate the same size as a single dish. 3/4 of this plate consisted only of cheap components (cabbage strips, carrots, mushrooms and a whopping strip of bamboo. The total amount of various meat components (8 delicacies) did not even correspond to that of a single dish. In summary: A cheeky and systematic rip-off, which unfortunately can be found more and more often in other Asian restaurants up here in the area. To top it all off, the waitress came to our table with a tablet PC in her hand because we wanted to pay. When my companion asked for a receipt after paying in cash, they were bluntly informed that this didn't exist because everything was "processed" electronically... Ah yes, and you don't want to think about any further tax conclusions at this point.

The service is very good and I can especially recommend the specialties. Beautifully presented and really tastes good. A bit garlicky, but I like it. There are probably side dishes that aren't on the menu, so ask what's included first.

Unfortunately, service leaves a lot to be desired. We waited a long time for our food. Service easily overwhelmed in many situations. But food was quite good.

Very rude staff who have to decide at every turn where the plate with the food should be and use a tone that is not right. Actually you should feel comfortable as a guest but not there! The “vegetables” in many dishes consist only of cabbage and small carrot strips. No onions, peppers, etc. It's a shame but great atmosphere.

If annoying, know-it-all customers who complain about how bad they are doing over three courses were a category, a point deduction would be justified. Otherwise comfortable despite the cliché decoration. The vegetables are fresh and not drowning in oil. Menu varied, but not overloaded (including vegan dishes), service almost too hard-working and quick. Recommended.

The food is always very tasty. The service could be a little friendlier and more attentive. However, as an employee you should wear sensible footwear at work and not work with bare feet in Adilettes. After all, I'm in a restaurant and not at the train station snack bar.

Used to be the best Chinese around. Unfortunately it has now become very rude. When you order takeout, you always get something wrong. I also have the impression that people don't understand the language properly. Even if you ask, you sometimes end up with the wrong food. Then you will always be settled in cash. There is no card payment, which is very annoying. And I've been left standing several times now and had to wait 30 minutes the last time I was there, even though I specifically asked when the food would be ready. When asked, the staff reacted very rudely and annoyed. It's a shame, really a shame. Unfortunately it's no longer fun.

The food is great; very tasty and vegetables are al dente as they should be. The menu is also very appealing. Unfortunately, when we were there you couldn't speak of "service". There was only one person there to ask what we wanted to order and then to bring food and drinks. We didn't ask if everything was ok, tasted good or if we wanted to order something else. It was a real shame. Still 4 stars due to the quality of the food and the ambience. Maybe worth a second try to see if this was a slip-up.

No smile, no friendliness at all. People are desperately looking for attention there. With children you have the feeling of not being welcome. If the food wasn't so unbeatably good, we wouldn't come back because of the service... I also think it's sad that I ordered a table and was thrown out after an hour. because new customers come. Then you say that from the beginning and ask if it's timely for you, but don't let them clean everything up while you're still drinking and throw you out! On June 21, 24, I wanted to spend a cozy evening in Tsingtau with my girlfriend on her birthday. Unfortunately, after we had just finished eating and would have liked to have ordered something to drink, we had to vacate the place after less than an hour. This is not how you treat your regular customers, we had reserved the table weeks in advance, the restaurant still needs to work a lot on their service, sometimes very unfriendly. The ambience and food are really excellent, so it's a shame.

I'm actually a regular customer at Tsingtau. On Friday I spent the evening there with my partner. At least that's what I wanted. After we had just finished eating and had our plates cleared for 3 minutes, we were asked to leave because the place was so busy. We made a reservation and actually wanted to have a dessert and a drink, but unfortunately we didn't get around to it. So we were only in the restaurant for a total of 50 minutes, despite having a reservation. When we were sent to the checkout to pay, we waited there for another 10 minutes. I imagined my birthday differently. We were very disappointed. If mass processing is more important than politeness, then unfortunately we won't be coming back

Unfortunately no buffet, everything à la card. You get a wet butt on the chairs (artificial leather). The waitress didn't understand us. “DID SMICK?” Despite registering for the birthday dinner, there was no response.

The menu offers a good selection of dishes. Price/performance is right. Portions are very good. We recommend the homemade lemonades, beautifully presented. I've always loved coming here to eat, but after the renovation I loved it even more. Firstly, the renovation was more than successful and the ambience is really nice. Secondly, the sushi is so delicious that I could come here to eat every day.

I had a spontaneous meal there with my family (4 people). All in all it was a top experience. Food was very good, service was also good and ambience was also great. Overall, it was actually a completely positive experience!

Food was OK. Price/performance was right. The service staff was rather listless and put down plates, warming plates, etc. without saying a word. We waited about 45 minutes for the food, which was still within reason. What I found to be a shame was that people didn't ask if you wanted something to drink, if everything was okay, etc. Unfortunately, you rarely saw waiters, otherwise you could have called them to the table. It's a shame actually.

The food is really top. In our opinion, it's actually the best sushi in the area. Often very long waiting times. But the wait is worth it. Unfortunately, the service seems extremely overwhelmed, listless and sometimes annoyed. It makes you feel unwelcome. This is where we need to work.

Tsingtau in more than just a new ambience. What a surprise! Very stylish new interior design. The usual good food. But now also sushi of amazingly fantastic quality. This visit urgently needs to be followed by others. Friendliness despite very high customer traffic on Good Friday. Highly recommended!

I had dinner here this evening, it was really nice and delicious! But despite the long wait (1 1/2 hours) between eating and taking the order, there are only 3 stars. Unfortunately, service is not really attentive and also much too slow. You always have to ask if you want to reorder something, or else you won't be asked if everything is OK.

Been there for the first time under a new tenant, no comparison to before!! Great ambience, nice service and, most importantly, really good food 👍 Ate across the menu, from sushi to plated dishes, everything was fresh and extremely tasty. We'll definitely be back. Only recommended!!

My wife and I were guests at the Tsing Tau restaurant in Jever on March 17, 2024. We have been guests in this house several times and, apart from a few little things, we have always been very satisfied. As a starter we had 2 pieces of fried shrimp and a wonton soup Main course: Duck of the night and a salmon/shrimp plate with pasta The starter was subpar, the prawns were still raw on the inside and the wonton was superficially fried. We complained about the shrimp, but not the soup. After the shrimp were brought back, we unfortunately discovered that the second shrimp was raw again on the inside. After we complained again, the boss came to us personally and made it clear to us that, in his opinion, my complaint was not OK. There was no kind word, no nice communication, nothing. So good…. My wife's main course was very good, my duck of the night was not very edible. The duck consisted of fried fat, you had to look for the duck meat. Since I didn't want to ruin the evening, I didn't complain about the duck and ate it up obediently. The coronation now at the end. To pay, I went straight to the cash register and asked the waitress to speak to the boss, who was standing 5 meters away from me. He was busy at the counter. He didn't comply with his service person's request, so I spoke to him myself. The reaction was, "I don't have time, pay my waitress." When I tried to make it clear to him that I wanted to talk to him about his behavior and the food, he left me standing there like a little boy. He completely ignored my comments. For me one thing is certain. Mistakes happen, mistakes should be corrected. But I don't need to insult my guests with such arrogance. This was the last visit to this house for us.

I was a guest in the restaurant this afternoon. The reception was reserved but friendly and I was assigned a table. The restaurant is furnished in a modern style and Asian “dust catchers” are largely avoided. I ordered 3 small spring rolls with sauce as a starter and roasted duck with vegetables and peanut sauce as my main course. To drink a small apple spritzer. Rating of the food: 1.) The appetizer was not convincing in terms of taste because the sauce was quite bland and had no taste of its own. 2.) The main course was served on a warm plate and tasted delicious. However, the quantity was very manageable and I didn't get full. There was about a third of a duck breast which was well cooked. The vegetables were also very limited and hardly seasoned. But together with the slightly too thick but spicy peanut sauce it tasted good. 3.) The cleanliness in the guest room is exemplary. Conclusion: The price for the lunch dish is very cheap at EUR 10, but a grown man will not be full with so little rice and side dishes. I would have happily spent 5 euros more for a larger portion. Unfortunately, this “upgrade” is not offered at lunchtime. Repeat factor: Despite the economical portion, I like to stop by the restaurant again for dinner. In contrast to lunch, “normal” sized dishes can be ordered there. I think it's very good that the restaurant doesn't use any additional flavor enhancers according to the menu.

Even more comfortable after the renovation. Clean kitchen and good ambience. The space between the tables is good and generous, the chairs are comfortable. A fixed ramp for wheelchairs and strollers is available at the entrance area. An extensive menu with very tasty and special named dishes. Sushi and vegetarian dishes are also offered in abundance, as are the "classics". The service was quick for us. The dishes presented were visually very appealing, tasted good and came to the table hot. A table reservation is advisable. Very nice staff. Unfortunately, communication with special requests is a little difficult, but not impossible. In terms of price, this is in the middle range. There are a limited number of customer parking spaces available. Very good and highly recommended Chinese restaurant.

In a new look. We have felt very comfortable here. After the renovation it has become a really cozy restaurant. No comparison to before. The food was very tasty and everyone was really nice. We will definitely be back, especially since the prices are very fair.

Food tasted good. Staff totally overwhelmed and terribly bad/unfriendly. No smile and no asking if it was tasty. A lot of things took a long time. You had to look for advertised shrimp in the food. We won't be coming back. Can't understand the long queue given the poor service. We asked for drinks that weren't on the menu and were told the price, then we were simply brought something that we didn't even order. We actually wanted a martini and the bottles are still closed and full over the counter everywhere...but apparently everything is "over"...tz...

A very nice place/restaurant for fans of Asian cuisine. Whether it's sushi 🍣 or sweet and sour duck, there is a very large selection of food and drinks. The service is polite but not intrusive. I think the new decor and menu are very successful. We would like to come again.

Perfect Sushi and Chinese food!

Wir hatten 4 unterschiedliche Gerichte und alle waren optisch wie geschmacklich gut. Bei der Aufnahme unserer Bestellung hatte die ältere Servicekraft allerdings ihre Probleme. Das Ambiente wirkt durch die rosa Blütenpracht an Wänden und Decken völlig überladen. Auch sollte man die echten Pflanzen mal regelmäßig gießen.

Gute Auswahl an Speisen, faire Preise, guter und schneller Service. Wir waren das erste Mal hier, unsere Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Wir können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Super Ambiente. Das Essen war wie immer Klasse. Eine tolle Karte. Für jeden etwas dabei. Auch für Veganer tolle Menüs. Der Service ist einfach. Leider gibt es hier größere Verständigungsprobleme. Die Bestellungen sind zum Teil nur über die Nummern möglich.

Waren zu Viert dort. Zwei Sterne, da das Sushi wirklich exzellent war. Meine Ente war leider eine Katastrophe. Trocken, lauwarm, das Gemüse bestand nur aus Weißkohl , wenig Möhren und ein Paar Sprossen. Bambus fehlte ganz. Die Erdnusssoße war lauwarmer Brei. Drei Gerichte kamen schnell an den Tisch. Das vierte Essen und der Reis fast 10 min. später. Wir hätten auch gerne noch ein weiteres Getränk bestellt, aber der Service war total überfordert. Die Desserts wurden serviert, bevor der Hauptgang abgeräumt war. Auf die Rechnung auch ewig gewartet. Schade. Der Abend war enttäuschend.

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr gute Speisen

Das Essen war lecker, auch wenn die Gerichte nicht zeitgleich gebracht wurden. Vergessene Beilagen eines Gerichtes sowie das Zubringen eines falschen Getränkes hätten wir bei netter Bedienung bestimmt mit einem Lächeln wegschmunzeln können. Den Service, den wir heute Abend erfahren durften, war äußerst unzufriedenstellend. Von Arroganz bis genervt war vieles dabei. Zusammenfassend nach unserem heutigen Eindruck kann ich jedem, der gerne von unfreundlichem Personal bedient werden möchte, dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Wir saßen fast 4 Stunden am Tisch und es hat sich nach unserer Bestellung nicht ein einziges Mal jemand freiwillig erkundigt. Wie kann man seine Gäste einfach stundenlang unversorgt sitzen lassen?

Sehr gutes vegetarisches Sushi. Viele vegan und vegetarische Varianten von Essen. Wir hätten auch gerne Rindfleisch mit Udon Nudeln gehabt, die gibt es aber leider nur mit veganem Huhn? Änderung nicht möglich gewesen.

Schon seit Jahren eines unserer bevorzugten Restaurants. Bisher war immer alles in Ordnung. Nette Bedienung, tolles Essen, relativ kurze Wartezeiten. Die Chefin ist eine ganz Liebe.

Finde das Ambiente dort sehr schön und angenehm. Service war sehr schnell in der Mittagszeit da gewesen, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen war auch sehr lecker und das Mittagsangebot ist super vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ein normales Gericht von der Karte war jedoch etwas zu klein für den Preis (auch im Vergleich zum Mittagsangebot).
