Restaurant Traube Eichelberg in Obersulm

I had the pleasure of dining at the Traube restaurant in Eichelberg and was delighted in every respect. I would particularly like to highlight the roast beef, which was superbly prepared – tender, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. The homemade spaetzle were also a real highlight and complemented the dish perfectly. You can immediately tell that the food here is prepared with great care, experience, and attention to detail. The service was attentive, friendly, and pleasantly discreet, allowing you to enjoy your visit in a relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is also down-to-earth, warm, and inviting – exactly what you would expect from a good, traditional inn. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable culinary experience. I can highly recommend the Traube in Eichelberg to anyone who appreciates honest, handcrafted, and superbly prepared regional cuisine. I will definitely be back.

I wanted to reserve a table for Sunday evening. But since the company was closed on Monday, I was turned away. Weird!!!

Excellent! But I recommend calling ahead. We were very lucky to get a table. But it was really nice and extremely delicious. It's not exactly cheap, but I think it's absolutely justified given the quality of the food. We'd definitely be back!

You wouldn't believe that you could have such great food in a place like this. Personally, I had boiled beef with green sauce (not to be confused with Frankfurter sauce) with potatoes and salad. Simply great. The service was very attentive and quick.

Edit: We were in the Traube again and there were 2 really great vegetarian dishes. A big compliment to you. We're always happy to come back! Yesterday we were in the Traube for the first time. We met with dear friends and chose the grape based on the good reviews - we weren't disappointed! We were warmly welcomed and they immediately knew who we were. I always think that's great. Drinks came quickly and the service was really great. The small side salad was super tasty. I had the asparagus with flädle and potatoes. This was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Really great! The meat dishes were also very, very good. Portions are really big and you will be more than full. Dessert was delicious. Prices are rather high, but considering the quality it is completely ok and appropriate. We've been eating out a lot lately, but this was the best restaurant visit we've had in a long time. I actually only have 1 point where I would normally deduct a star from the rating... apart from the asparagus, there was no vegetarian dish on the menu. Personally, I think that at least two vegetarian dishes should be on a menu. If I didn't eat asparagus now, we wouldn't have visited the restaurant. So please, because I would really like to come back, put vegetarian dishes on the menu. I still don't deduct a star because everything was perfect and I like eating asparagus. We would love to come back!

Had a small family celebration there in a room with a nice atmosphere. The food was excellent and rich. The menu is very diverse. There was something for everyone, including our vegetarians. The roast venison I chose was delicious. Likewise the soup beforehand and the dessert afterwards. The service was excellent. The prices are moderate. We felt very comfortable. I can really recommend the restaurant. We'll give this to each other more often 👍.

We celebrated the Christmas party there, the food was a bomb, the veal was the best thing I've ever eaten so far. Nice nice location

I celebrated my 80th birthday at the TRAUBE and all of my guests were thrilled with the care, the service, the excellent cuisine and the ambience. I would like to thank the Frisch family for these wonderful hours.

Were there with 5 people. It was just GREAT!!! The waiter was very polite and ALWAYS made sure everything was okay!!! The food was a dream!!! We paid €225 for 5 starters, 5 main courses and 5 desserts plus drinks. It was worth it for us!!!

We traveled from Stuttgart and every kilometer to this beautiful restaurant is worth it. You are served perfectly prepared food, of the highest quality and freshness, that is what I call passion for cooking and for your guests. Unfortunately the food was nothing special. Fish and spinach were totally over salted, the cordon bleu was dry... so really nothing special.

Food class, service class, ambience great. Visiting the Traube in Eichelberg is always great. Every wish is taken into account. The beef fillet was cooked to perfection. 20 people received hot food almost at the same time.

We were here today. Great food. Price performance absolutely excellent. The second dish we had was the Swabian plate. This one was also outstanding. I can only recommend it. For those who don't know it, it's an absolute insider tip. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back

Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, familiäre und freundliche Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr gut. Toll für Gruppen die aus bestimmten Anlässen eine Tisch mit Bewirtung suchen, Weihnachtsfeiern usw.

Wir gehen seit vielen Jahren in die Traube nach Obersulm-Eichelberg, wobei ich auf Grund der Entfernung nach langer Zeit erst gestern wieder dort war. Das Essen dort wird noch richtig "handwerklich" gekocht, ohne Fertigprodukte. Es schmeckt nach guter alter Zeit und Qualität. Die Preise sind völlig angemessen für Qualität und Kochkunst. Absolut Empfehlenswert. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Essen gut, Bedienung gut.

Hatte einen Salatteller, der grüne Salat hat mir nicht geschmeckt, da hat das Dressing gefehlt. Es gab noch nicht mal Essig und Öl für den Salat. Muss ich nicht wieder hin. Hab mir mehr vorgestellt von dem Salat.

Die Famienfeier war wieder sehr schön in der Traube, es war mein Wunsch dort einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Das Essen etc war sehr wohlschmeckend, der Service lieb und sehr freundlich. Wir können die "Traube" in Eichelberg nur empfehlen. Fam. AMOS aus Heilbronn

Waren hier Essen lezte Woche. Rund um gut. Der Fisch (Wolfsbarsch) und der Schwabenteller. Mit das beste vom Geschmack her, im Umkreis. Wir können dies Lokal bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen, und werden selbst öfter hier einkehren.

Die Traube Eichelberg ist der Beweis dafür, dass eine Google - Bewertung von 4,8 Punkten kein Zufall ist. Solide Kochkunst plus freundlich-umsichtiger Service in reizvoller landschaftlicher Umgebung. In den Ort Eichelberg gerät man wohl nicht durch Zufall, sollte diesem aber unbedingt auf die Sprünge helfen..... - er liegt nicht so weit entfernt wie man denkt 😚. Unbedingte Empfehlung, einen Abstecher zu wagen..... - oder bald wieder zu kommen.

Tolles Essen, Top Service, Preis Leistung stimmt. Was will man mehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, Essen war sehr gut! Abzug gibt's nur, weil unser Tisch genau unter der Klimaanlage (18 Grad) stand und diese auch auf Bitte nicht reguliert wurde.

Personal ist sehr kompetent und freundlich. Essen war hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist ein Wohlführort. Ein Besuch ist empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine Oase- tolles österreichisches Essen von Rösti über Knödel bis zum marillenknödel perfekt. Wunderbarer Salat! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, der Koch kam extra an den Tisch, unser Hund bekam gleich ein Wasser, freue mich schon aufs nächste Essen in der Traube!!!

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Gasthaus mit bodenständiger Küche in hervorragender Qualität. Der Service ist durchweg dezent präsent. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt super.

Der Service ist hervorragend und unglaublich nett. Sie schaffen es, auch jetzt während der Corona-Zeit, die "Distanz" zu wahren und dem Gast trotzdem ein wohliges Gefühl zu geben. Das Essen ist hier schon seit Jahren einfach lecker und deswegen wollte ich jetzt einfach mal eine Bewertung schreiben :)
