Very tasty Greek food at very good prices. I was pleasantly surprised by the drink prices. 4.50 euros for a large Pils or Weizen (0.5l), instead of the now usual 5.30 - 6.00 euros. You're happy to take a second one, whereas at other restaurants I only take a large drink with the meal at the prices. Another positive thing was that there was tzatziki with every gyro/grill plate. You often have to order this separately. Super. The starter was a salad and toasted bread spread with herbs. Delicious. In general, everything tasted great. The only drawback: the beer garden is located directly on the busy main road. The beer garden also has a small “playground” with a swing, so you can also have a good meal with children. Otherwise everything was great!

We stayed here after our visit to the Granat Natural Wildlife Park and were very satisfied. The price-performance ratio is very good: gyros with fries and a small salad plate with grilled bread for €12.80 (May 2025). The gyro was very tasty, not too dry and not too salty. There was also a small playground for the children and we felt welcome with children. We sat outside under the great awning that can be opened and closed. This was perfect for this hot day (25 degrees in the evening) and overall it was very well thought out, as there are also heaters and side awnings to protect against the wind. Ambience outside: rustic, comfortable modern wicker chairs, rural, relaxed. (I was only inside for a short time, but what really struck me was the beautiful Greek pictures of Santorini, for example) We absolutely recommend the restaurant and would like to come back. Unfortunately for us it is 1.5 hours away from home.

A disappointing experience! Unfortunately, our visit to this Syrtaki restaurant left a consistently negative impression. Right from the start it was noticeable that the service seemed overwhelmed, which was increasingly expressed in the waiter's irritable and unfriendly manner. What was particularly irritating was that during the meal he asked us for a recommendation for a USB cable. As helpful as I generally am, when I go to a restaurant with friends, I want to focus on the company and the culinary experience, not on technical advice. Even the food couldn't make up for the disappointing service. The onion soup was acceptable, but the main course lacked any enjoyment. The souvlaki was dry and not very aromatic, while the lamb chop tasted old and had an unpleasantly intense barnyard aroma. As someone who enjoys eating lamb frequently, I regret to say that this was by far the worst preparation I have ever been served. In addition, the questionable interpretation of roasted potatoes caused some surprise - instead of the expected crispy fried potato pieces, we were served sliced ​​French fries. The chaotic settlement crowned the already unsuccessful visit. Friends of ours wanted to use the gourmet book, which the waiter responded with an annoyed “Why didn’t you say that earlier?” acknowledged - as if it was an unreasonable challenge to correctly record the discount in an almost empty restaurant. Payment was also unnecessarily complicated. Although we had already indicated that we wanted to pay by card when making the reservation and again at the table, we were emphatically asked to pay in cash instead. Only after some back and forth were we finally able to prevail and pay by card - but not without being pointed out several times that this would be "unfavorable". Conclusion: A disappointing experience that could not be saved by either the food or the service. The poor quality of the food, the unprofessional treatment of guests and the billing chaos leave a bad aftertaste. The fact that I ended up having to spend the rest of the day with stomach cramps strengthened my decision not to visit this restaurant again.

When paying, we definitely said separate bills. This went completely wrong and he thought it was natural that our friendly couple should take over part of us and we should then pay them back. THAT'S NOT WORKING AT ALL, it wasn't our fault. ! - The toilets were anything but clean .. It's a shame we were pretty at peace last year and were looking forward to the next visit!

At the weekend I was with my family and a very good friend in Haltern am See in the restaurant Sirtaki Zorbas, it is a Greek restaurant where you can easily give 5 stars. I have to say the food was really great and the service was very friendly and showed us the way to our table. It was a very nice, cozy evening and we were all full, value for money. A special compliment to the kitchen, highly recommended and would be happy to come again. If you like it outside, there is also a very nice beer garden that you can use under the roof, even in the cold season, it is heated.

When I arrived I also mentioned the kulinaris card and then placed it on our assigned table. Waiting time for drinks only is 25 minutes. Waiting time until we got the card was 45 minutes. Another 15 minutes until we could place our order for our food. All in all, it took us over 65 minutes to order... After dinner - food was good. Then the big thing, I handed over the kulinaris card and the voucher at the checkout, then the waiter said I hadn't informed him in advance and discussed the payment with me for several minutes... - I gave 3 instructions in advance and a table was confirmed and assigned to us by phone and also upon arrival... For me the restaurant behaved more than just rude towards us, we will not be coming back.
