Super Service. Darf kein Weizen essen. Mir wurden sogar die Inhaltsstoffe der Zutaten gezeigt, damit auch wirklich nichts passiert. Klasse!!

Sehr lecker! Die Bedienung war sehr höflich, keine langen Wartezeiten obwohl es voll war und es hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort essen und waren restlos begeistert. Das Essen war richtig gut und reichlich. Die Preise vom Mittagstisch sind wirklich günstig und das Essen ist jeden Euro wert 👍 Außerdem ist man dort unheimlich zuvorkommend. Wir kamen mit Rollstuhl, Bollerwagen und 2 Hunden und sofort war jemand behilflich, die Gefährte zu platzieren und uns einen schönen Platz zuzuweisen. Selbst als unser alte Hündin sich mitten auf den Weg legte ( ihr wurde es in der Sonne zu warm)hieß es nur, das sei kein Problem, so lange sie niemanden stört. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und wir kommen gerne wieder.👍

Sehr guter Service gehen auf Allergien ein und das Essen ist lecker ich empfehle hi zu gehen.

Das Moussakka ist sehr lecker, der Schafskäse und die Kalamata Oliven ebenfalls. Alles ist frisch. Auch dass Ambiente auf der Terrasse ist sehr angenehmt und das Personal sehr gastfreundlich. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Essen war gut, wir waren mittags dort und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Leider werden Kreditkarten nicht akzeptiert, EC Karten und Cash sind die einzige Möglichkeit. Dafür ist aber das Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Immer wieder gerne. Sehr lecker und auch noch ein wenig wie in Griechenland..

Leckeres Gyros, Leber und Schweinesteak, große Portion und anständig serviert. Vorab gibt's einen Salat mit leckeren Dressing. Service ist schnell und aufmerksam. Empfehlenswert Tarama als Vorspeise und der Joghurt mit Honig und Walnüssen als Nachspeise. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder.

Hallo ! Wir waren letzte Woche hier Rumpsteak essen und ich muss sagen dass es ausgezeichnet war. Wir gehen öfters essen aber dieser Grieche hat uns überrascht. Tolles Ambiente, das Fleisch auf den Punkt gebraten und die Bratkartoffeln waren einfach toll. Die Portionen sind auch ganz gut. Die Preise sind für das gebotene Essen auch in Ordnung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Uns hat es wieder sehr gut gefallen - alles war sehr professionell. Keine lange Wartezeiten. Gerne wieder.

Der Grieche ist zu empfehlen. Wir waren in Haltern zum Tagesausflug. Es gab einen Mittagstisch, vorwiegend älteres Publikum natürlich. Preis Leistung zumindest mittags unschlagbar. Sehr freundlicher Service, alles sauber, wenn auch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben für 2 Essen mit gemischten Fleisch, Wein, Wasser und Bier inklusive Trinkgeld 50 Euro bezahlt.

Kurzurlaub in Haltern am See. Über Google das griechische Restaurant gefunden. Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit einer tollen Vorspeise und einem sehr leckeren Hauptgericht. Dazu ein super Service und ein tolles Ambiente obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir können dieses Lokal nur empfehlen.

Sehr zu empfehlen, Essen wirklich gut und wie erwartet reichlich. Service sehr angenehm, nicht aufdringlich und doch da, wenn man jemanden braucht. Und wer nicht weiß, was für ein Getränk die heiße Oma ist, kann es zum Abschluss noch probieren... wer Eierlikör und Rum mag kommt dabei auf seine Kosten. Vielen lieben Dank!

Das war eine richtig gute Wahl, wir hatten Glück, bis 16 Uhr gab es noch Mittagstisch. Alle Gerichte für unter 15€ inkl. Bruscetta, 1 Scheibe, himmlisch warm und lecker, kleiner Salatteller, sehr frisch und schmackhaft und dann das Gericht (1xBifteki überbacken mit Metaxasauce und 1xSchweinemedaillion gefüllt mit Schafskäse in Metaxasauce mit Aljoli… mmmh. 1/2 Liter Bier, Radler, Alster je 5€. Ich habe mir dann noch ein Eis gegönnt, das jede Erwartung übertraf. Richtig leckeres gemischtes Eis mit Schokosauce und Sahne, absolut empfehlenswert! Besser geht’s nicht!

We were at Ola Kala again this evening, July 5th. Everything is just right here! The best lamb for miles around!!! I've also rarely had souvlaki of this quality at a Greek restaurant. But moussaka also tastes absolutely traditional, and the wine selection is really good. It's worth trying a few wines that aren't usually on the menu at Greek restaurants. They offer quite a few here. We're delighted to have such an excellent Greek restaurant in Haltern! And the hospitality is simply palpable everywhere!

Went to Ola Kala for the first time and loved it! The portions are very good and the price-performance ratio is right. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You can sit outside and inside - very cozy, pleasant atmosphere! I had ordered a plate (I think it was the Rhodes plate) with gyros and souvlaki and I bow to the gyros: such a great gyro, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned - it was a real joy to eat may. But the souvlaki was also great, but the gyros, man, I'm still dreaming about it today. So, if you're in Haltern and like Greek cuisine, I unreservedly recommend Ola Kala

Today we visited the Greek restaurant in the pedestrian arcade on a sunny Sunday. We were traveling with four people and were happy about the central, yet surprisingly quiet location of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the pedestrian zone was pleasant and we were able to relax and enjoy our meal without being disturbed by the usual hustle and bustle. Let's get to the food: As a starter we chose the olive and pepperoni platter with bread. We really liked this choice. The pepperoni was excellently prepared, with a mild yet spicy note that suited every taste. The olives, although larger than expected, impressed with their fresh and pleasant taste. Personally I prefer smaller olives, but in this case I was okay with the size as they were good quality. The bread served with it was freshly baked, very soft and tasted excellent. For a price of 5 euros, this starter was a real highlight and offered very good value for money. For the main course I chose the liver gyros platter, which is listed on the menu under the name “Delphi platter”. I have to say that the liver was very well prepared - tender, juicy and with a perfectly balanced seasoning. The taste was balanced and showed that the kitchen values ​​quality and freshness. What is particularly positive is that all dishes were served hot, which is unfortunately not always a given in many restaurants. This shows that the dishes are freshly prepared and brought to the table without delay - a clear sign of good organization in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there are also a few points that were less convincing to us. The gyros, which was also part of my main course, had a high fat content, which somewhat diminished the enjoyment for me. Although fat is part of the gyro, in this case there was just too much and it negatively affected the taste and mouthfeel. The tzatziki, although intense in taste, seemed more like a ready-made product and not homemade. For an authentic Greek restaurant this is a bit disappointing as I would have expected more freshness and individuality here. In total, the bill for four people was around 100 euros, which can be seen as fair given the central location and the quality of the food on offer. Despite the criticisms, our visit was overall satisfactory and we enjoyed our stay. That's why I give it a solid 3 stars. It was a good, average experience with some ups and few downs, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in the preparation of the gyro and the choice of side dishes.

My family's favorite restaurant. A little Greek break with cheerful & attentive staff and delicious food. My highlight 'Moussaka'. The whole family enjoys it, regardless of whether it's gyros or a vegetarian dish. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone and can easily be combined with a short stroll through the city.

I wanted to buy a voucher. The first thing the operator said to me was “the voucher is only valid for 6 months”. I felt a little offended. Especially since it is not correct according to German law. According to the law, a restaurant can decide for itself, but it must be a reasonable amount of time and that would be from 1 year. I found it very unfortunate how I was spoken to.

As a Greek, I am always very skeptical of other Greeks. We were welcomed and served very nicely. The food was very authentic and extremely tasty. Gyros in particular are often heavily seasoned as if they had something to hide. But here the gyros was extremely tasty, juicy and not spicy. The same applies to the souvlakia. My wife had pork tenderloin, a poem. All in all, a very tasty meal with very nice people. My skepticism vanished. Can you please move to my village or open a branch..? ☺️
