A very cozy restaurant with incredibly delicious dishes. The tarama is the best I've ever eaten. Friendly staff in both the front of house and the kitchen. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was quite full, but luckily we had made a reservation. The drinks arrived quickly, and the wait for the food wasn't very long either. The food was okay, but nothing special. The atmosphere was typical for a Greek restaurant.

Delicious food and very nice, friendly, and even a little cheeky service. But I loved it that way... 😀 The only downside is that you sit a bit cramped with several people at one table.

We spontaneously went there with a group of seven, and they did everything they could to get us a table. The first course was delicious and fresh. They immediately provided crayons and coloring pages for the children. If we're ever in Rostock again, we'd gladly come back.

We were there for the Christmas party with a total of 10 people. The waiter was prompt, charming, and helpful. Drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, there were a few problems. The wrong tea was brought. One dish was forgotten, and the ordered Metaxa sauce only arrived after repeated requests. The bifteki looked very pale. It was OK, but not outstanding.

The food was average. The staff made an effort. The ambiance is a decade or two old. I didn't see a single Greek among the staff. Oat milk hasn't arrived here yet.

Always happy to go back, even with friends. Today I tried the octopus, it was amazing. See you next time, and not to forget the great staff.

Always delicious, priced right, and our regular server (a bit older) is as straight-talking and Nordic as possible. It's now my personal favorite restaurant in HRO and the best of the various Greek restaurants.

Service was good, nice and friendly, but the gyro was unfortunately very dry and many pieces were too dark (hard). Hunger drove it in.

We went there for the first time (as tourists). The staff was super friendly. It's run by Germans, and you can tell that from the ambiance and the food (both in taste and appearance). The tzatziki was also store-bought, not homemade. So if you're looking for a real Greek restaurant, this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, though, it's a decent restaurant where the food is tasty.

We were absolutely impressed by the service and the food. We haven't had such good bifteki in a long time, and we can recommend it with a clear conscience!

Once again, it was delicious and plentiful! All the waiters were in a great mood and everything went smoothly.

We received a friendly welcome. It's advisable to reserve a table. We tried a few appetizers, and everything was highly recommended.

Everything seems well-thought-out, but not intrusive – an atmosphere where you'll enjoy lingering without looking at the clock. The menu reads like a culinary promise: clearly structured, creatively composed, and full of character. Not a boring parade of numbers, but an invitation to explore. And yes – it delivers what it promises. Then comes the food. What ends up on the plates is no coincidence. It's the finest craftsmanship – every bite a small experience. We ate at your place for the first time today. It was good. Unfortunately, they seemed to be replacing staff, which made the whole experience seem somewhat disorganized. I had the grilled chicken with rice instead of fries. When I ordered, the waitress asked if I wanted regular rice, and I said yes. Regular rice for me would have been Spitzelandkorn rice or something similar. But unfortunately, she meant "tomato rice." Since I have a reaction to tomatoes (eczema), I couldn't eat it. My children were completely satisfied and ate everything except for two pieces of meat. Kudos to them, because they are really good portions for a really reasonable price. My son loved the fries :-D It was actually very loud in there and crowded between the tables. But that was, of course, also due to the Friday night crowds :-) The restrooms were clean and tidy! The staff were okay; they were always helpful, but they exuded a certain insecurity and distance, which irritated me at first. But overall we left feeling satisfied :-)

We've been coming here for years to eat. The food is top-notch. In my opinion, it's the best Greek restaurant in Rostock.

The ambiance is very nice. Lots of attention to detail. The service is actually very good, too. That is, if you get the right one. You should treat all guests equally and not favor your favorites (which isn't the case with the competition). The food is good, but not exceptional. You know that feeling... The first bite and you're in Greek heaven. I miss that.

The dishes are delicious, whether it's the various starters or the main course, everything is highly recommended. The food arrives hot and within a reasonable time. We've been here several times now and will be happy to come back. We definitely recommend eating here.

We (four) were last your guests here on Saturday at 7 p.m. We called relatively spontaneously and were incredibly lucky. A nice and friendly welcome despite being very busy, a wonderful waitress/server (I can't find the right word for it right now - I don't want to let any professional group get lost here). Our drink order came quickly, but we still had plenty of time to choose our starters and main courses from the extensive menu. Funnily enough, we each independently chose two of the same dishes (Syrthaki and Zeus plates), along with one garlic bread, one garlic bread with tomato relish, and a small pan of delicious grilled pepperoni. They were gone so quickly that we didn't even manage to take a photo. The portions were a good size, with salad, fries, tzatziki, and a good selection of meat. None of us went hungry, and afterward we had a small nightcap, and thanks to you, we had a delicious, magical evening. Thanks to the entire team, we'd love to visit you again. The voles ☺️

We ate at Syrtaki as part of a company outing. It was excellent. The food is traditionally and freshly prepared with select ingredients directly from Greece. I haven't had such delicious Greek food in a long time. Kudos to the chef and a heartfelt thank you to the service staff! This will be my number one culinary destination in Rostock!!!

Beautiful location in a residential area, got a table spontaneously despite the full house. The outdoor terrace is especially lovely. Friendly service. A small idea. The lamb shank is served in a casserole dish, not on a plate. We'd be happy to go again.

The food was good, you can see and taste that you save money on the food and for the money you expect a little better quality. In my opinion, the service was very cheeky, I don't know if it was the boss, the other staff did their job politely. In my opinion, the customer should eat quickly but then leave quickly. Everyone can see it differently but for us it was the last time.

Absolute No. 1 for all Greeks in and around Rostock. The only point of criticism is the very early kitchen closure and the subsequent restaurant closure. But that is probably due to the personnel situation (citizen's money).

The Syrtaki restaurant has been one of our favorite places for years. Whether with prior registration in a larger group or spontaneously on a walk with the dogs. We are always welcome, warmly greeted and served. Depending on how busy it is, there may also be time for a snack. The food is always delicious and so the coffee break that was actually planned quickly turns into traditional gyros and fries 😅

Spontaneously went for dinner here today with my partner. Ambiance as usual with Greeks, the staff and service very friendly. Now about the food: For my personal taste... The side salad so good. The bifteki was very juicy and tasty, but could have had a little more feta in it. The fries, not crispy enough but seasoned well. The Gyros Metaxa was wonderfully delicious. The feta starter was very tasty. The tzatziki was delicious. And the MusLimo (homemade lemonade) is a dream. We would be happy to come back again, enjoyed eating here and can warmly recommend stopping and dining here with a clear conscience. PS: There were no complaints about their food from the tables around us. Taste is always an individual experience and assessment.

The first few times were great. Now I feel like...mass processing. .. Our fries were soggy on the kebab plate. The plates were taken out and only the meat was brought back...we could eat them already otherwise it would get cold and the fries came later What is that???? That hasn't happened to me yet

Our dishes came to the table quickly, without long waiting times. We also tried the dessert and it was delicious – the perfect end to our meal. As a nice gesture, we were given a traditional, ice-cold ouzo to try at the end, which brought us even closer to the Greek flair. We will definitely visit this restaurant again soon! I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience real Greek cuisine and warm hospitality.

A nice restaurant near the Rostock Zoo. Finding a parking space was a little difficult. The service was very good, just as you would expect as a customer. Extra requests were also taken into account immediately. The food was very tasty and filling. You should definitely book a table in advance, we were lucky because there were only two of us. The next time we're in Rostock, we'd love to come back.

If we can arrange it, we try to eat there once a month. This actually says it all. After Wende, we were one of the first to start here in Rostock, and over the years we have expanded again and again and refined the ambience. All the dishes are loving Prepared and very tasty. It's better to make a reservation otherwise you could experience an unpleasant surprise, as the Syrtaki restaurant is very popular.

This is a nice choice for Greek cuisine in Rostock. Overall, the food is satisfying. The Taramasalata has a nice authentic flavor, although it’s quite salty. Our favorite dish was the grilled octopus—fresh and beautifully marinated. The grilled meats were generally good, though some pieces were slightly dry. What really sets this place apart is the service; the staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend giving this place a try if you’re in town.
