Very good Greek food, large portions, very tasty, prices are completely reasonable, parking spaces can be found in the surrounding area. Service is good and everyone is friendly and accommodating. We come here regularly.

Well...I have to say...this is the best restaurant in Rostock. Such a lovely and delicious lunch. Large portions, affordable prices, and outstanding quality! The staff were super friendly, the communication was great, helpful, and clearly proud of the food and service they provide. We would eat here over and over again. Highly recommended.

Everything was just right for me. The food was hot and tasty, the waiting time was ok. The staff was very friendly and, despite the many guests, moved quickly - with a smile on their faces.

We visited this wonderful Greek restaurant in Rostock without a reservation, but the staff gave us a warm welcome and quickly found a table for us even though it was full. The service was excellent and the team was very friendly, making us feel at home. The food was simply excellent! Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and had authentic taste. Our dishes came to the table quickly, without long waiting times. We also tried the dessert and it was delicious – the perfect end to our meal. As a nice gesture, we were given a traditional, ice-cold ouzo to try at the end, which brought us even closer to the Greek flair. We will definitely visit this restaurant again soon! I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience real Greek cuisine and warm hospitality.

A nice restaurant near the Rostock Zoo. Finding a parking space was a little difficult. The service was very good, just as you would expect as a customer. Extra requests were also taken into account immediately. The food was very tasty and filling. You should definitely book a table in advance, we were lucky because there were only two of us. The next time we're in Rostock, we'd love to come back.

We were really excited again! It's always a bit like coming to dinner with friends. The staff always welcomes us warmly and the service is very accommodating. The excellent food in combination with the ambience transports you a little bit to Greece every time. I can highly recommend a visit. If we can arrange it, we try to eat there once a month. This actually says it all. After Wende, we were one of the first to start here in Rostock, and over the years we have expanded again and again and refined the ambience. All the dishes are loving Prepared and very tasty. It's better to make a reservation otherwise you could experience an unpleasant surprise, as the Syrtaki restaurant is very popular.

This is a nice choice for Greek cuisine in Rostock. Overall, the food is satisfying. The Taramasalata has a nice authentic flavor, although it’s quite salty. Our favorite dish was the grilled octopus—fresh and beautifully marinated. The grilled meats were generally good, though some pieces were slightly dry. What really sets this place apart is the service; the staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend giving this place a try if you’re in town.

We were just out and about in Rostock's Südstadt when hunger hit us. It suddenly occurred to me that there has been a Greek restaurant at the radio tower for years. So go ahead and get there. When we arrived around 6 p.m. the restaurant was already full and after asking nicely we were able to get a seat. The atmosphere is modern and at the same time Greek. The service staff are really very accommodating, nice and helpful. The food is more than sufficient and, I have to admit, delicious. The sheep's cheese in puff pastry covered with honey was outstanding and exceptional. What can I say, if someone is looking for a very good Greek restaurant, this is absolutely the right place. Big praise to the whole team🙏👌

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and the food has always been very tasty. Unfortunately I can't confirm this on my last visit. We ordered 4 starters and were very disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. The grilled calamari was just not edible, they were black and looked like a shoelace. Plus, it tasted like it had been grilled 3 days ago. The other starters (baked sheep's cheese in puff pastry and stuffed peppers) were also not as we know them from previous visits. I can't say why the puff pastry was cut open now, but the cheese wasn't baked properly. The stuffed peppers with cheese were usually nicely grilled, but this time they were probably peppers from a jar. On the first attempt we returned the food because the calamari arm was cut into small pieces and looked very unappetizing. On the second attempt it was inedible and almost all of it was returned to the waiter. €16.95 for a meal like this is a disgrace. The boss told us that he had tried every dish before it went out. Our bill was not reduced, even though this dish was not edible. Ouzo is no excuse either, it is available in every good Greek restaurant. There was no apology, only excuses. It's a shame, it used to be a really good restaurant. That was our last visit here.

Ambiance: around 6 p.m. - hustle and bustle, very loud and everything seemed chaotic at that time... It's a shame, we know it differently to dine in an appropriate atmosphere at this Greek restaurant... Eat: as always great and tasty. Unfortunately, €5.70 (!!!) for half a liter of beer is way too expensive 😒 We'll still come back...

A great restaurant. Very good food, although a little more expensive. But it is more than worth the price. Despite a large group arriving beforehand, the food was served quickly. The only thing that is difficult here is finding a parking space. There is also something for the children to color in to help pass the waiting time.

The food is very tasty and comes in a large portion. There is a wide variety of dishes. Everything is also easily accessible with a wheelchair. The selection of dishes is huge. If you don't like onions, you might want to go somewhere else. Many dishes have onions on top or inside.

Grilled pepperoni are placed in oil and sometimes not grilled at all. The staff will answer: “Here it is like that.” It should probably be noted in the menu. I liked the advertised medallion on my Zeus plate, but I refrained from asking because of my first answer. It's probably like that here. The lamb chop was also so full of fat that I had to spit it out. There is still criticism of another plate, but it wasn't mine...so nada verdict. Even if I'm just visiting here, that's not possible at all. Such a Greek in my homeland and he could file for bankruptcy. How Syrtakis came to third place in Rostock... It was my first and last visit and I will not and cannot recommend it more.

We went there spontaneously last night. Since it was Saturday and we hadn't made a reservation, we didn't expect to get a seat. As always, we received a very friendly welcome and were given a table. The service from the two ladies was top. The food came very quickly. We were very satisfied and are looking forward to the next visit and hope that we can sit outside again when the weather is nice.😊

We had starters and 4 main courses as well as 2 x wine. The waitress seemed quite stressed during the service, and the "obligatory" ouzo was probably forgotten...and the Metaxa gyros three times weren't really tasty!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the many positive reviews. We were there for dinner today while visiting family. Right at the beginning we were received a bit “brusquely” because we wanted to order after just a quick look at the menu. You probably didn't know that and it didn't give you a very pleasant feeling. The starter came quickly but wasn't worth mentioning and was okay. Main course was a disaster. Three of us had gyros with Metaxa with a huge can of mushrooms and a very unappealing sauce. Here you can assume that the quality is lower than average. The staff no longer asked for a bedside table, ouzo or anything similar. What a shame!

Yes, if you want to eat Greek, then here. We like to eat there very often. Meat is usually very generous and the price/performance ratio is generally good. Just be careful that you come with an empty stomach so that everything fits in. Any adult portion is too big for children and should actually be enough for “good eaters”. What we didn't really like was that the previous agreement "without salad, greens or vegetables" wasn't fully implemented and the gyros this time were very fatty and wobbly. The crunchiness of last time was missing. Will be corrected as soon as we are back and that is no longer the case with the gyros. Promised ! We are happy to come back at any time and are already looking forward to the summer and sitting outside there!

Extremely fast and nice service, the food comes very quickly, the meat is still pounded here, the food is very tasty, you don't have to season anything or drown everything with tzatziki, but use the tzatziki as the icing on the cake, the gyros are also strong and... not dry. The tomato rice lives up to its name and is definitely tasty and not dry! One of the best Greeks I've ever eaten at. Just take the 6 or 3 and walk another 7 minutes and you're there. In any case, make a reservation at least by phone beforehand, otherwise things can get tight. Card payment is possible. I'd love to come back when I'm back on business!

We were there on Saturday lunchtime. It was incredibly crowded, but still friendly and fast service. We shared the grill plate. It was very tasty, the lamb chops were grilled a bit poorly, otherwise everything was good. Was a nice lunch.

The food was good, but not exceptional. For example, I had a whole breaded feta with honey and sesame in advance. Sounds delicious, but I missed the honey and sesame. Since there was far too much feta, the rest of the flavor was lost. It also lacked sophistication. Nothing was bad, the service was good and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice.

Im "Syrtaki" ist immer etwas los, was sicherlich des guten Essens und der Freundlichkeit der Bedienungen geschuldet ist. heute am 28.12.23 konnten wir dort richtig gut zu Abend essen 🤤 die Grillplatte für zwei Personen ist sehr zu empfehlen 🥰 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 👍

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Restaurant! Wir waren letztens mit der Familie zu Weihnachten essen, und es war alles super. Das Ambiente ist beim Griechen sowieso immer gut, aber hier kann man das durchaus besonders herausheben. Mein Gericht beziehungsweise mein Lieblingsgericht mit der Metaxasoße hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Und wir haben dazu noch einen Salat bekommen und einen Uso spendiert bekommen. Die Mitarbeiter sind besonders heraus zu heben und sie haben auch Extrawünsche total nett und freundlich entgegen genommen haben. Sowas sieht man tatsächlich selten.
