There are better and worse Greeks. Good for people who don't like Uso. Slightly too noisy and not very Greek, but a good location.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Hellas restaurant in the Kurhaus in Warnemünde and all I can say is: it was a truly extraordinary experience! The restaurant offers an excellent selection of Greek specialties that are simply exquisitely prepared. Every dish I tried was a feast for the senses - from the freshly prepared starters to the hearty main courses. The ambience is welcoming and authentically Greek, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating; you feel welcome from the first minute. There was always a warm welcome and a personal touch that made the evening unforgettable. A special highlight was the large selection of ouzo and fine wines that went perfectly with the dishes. The head of the house truly has a talent for not only preparing delicious dishes, but also for creating a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Overall, I can highly recommend the Hellas restaurant. It is the perfect place for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a charming setting. October 14th, 2024 I had a "Zeus plate", the meat was perfectly grilled and therefore not as dry as is often the case with Greeks, the tzatziki was the same like the coleslaw finely tuned. The waiter was really friendly and always had a smile when he came over! My dog ​​was even offered a “treat”! So absolutely top and recommended!

It was our first time there, but we wouldn't go again. The children's menu is standard and everyone can make it warm at home. For us adults the food tasted very good but it was cold. Atmosphere is chic, but so crowded. But everyone as he likes it.

Update (September 18, 2024): Hellas is only open Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. in the months of the high season, otherwise only from 5 p.m. After being located in the old tea pot in Warnemünde for many years, the restaurant had to move to the Kurhaus on the promenade due to water damage. We went there for lunch on vacation. You sit comfortably outdoors on a terrace with a great view of the sea and enjoy an excellent meal with friendly service. There is a separate menu at lunchtime. The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and freshly cooked. This restaurant is definitely recommended.

We spontaneously went to Hellas for dinner this week - called three quarters of an hour in advance and asked if there was room for us. We then had a nice table by the window with a view of the promenade and the water. Service was good, the drinks took a little longer but before we could say anything, a waiter noticed it and gave his colleague a “steam-up”. Aioli extremely tasty, the meat in the main courses was excellent. Really stand out. The portion wasn't gigantic as is typical for Greeks, but with the starter and main course it was just about manageable. We were surprised and happy that the spontaneous visit was so good!

Everything was great, delicious food, attentive service and an ambience that didn't seem too crowded. We'll be happy to come back, thank you.

Fancy a Greek evening? 🍽️ I recently visited the restaurant "Hellas im Kurhaus" and I have to honestly say that I was a bit disappointed. The food just didn't have enough pizzazz for my taste and seemed pretty boring overall. 😕 I also found the prices a bit excessive for what was on offer. However, I would like to highlight the waiters positively - they were really nice and friendly!

After a day in which the winds swept powerfully over the sea and the waves danced on the water like wild nymphs, my wife and I went to a restaurant with our divine child to end the evening in style. The place that spoke to us bore the proud name “Hellas” and promised at least a touch of my heavenly home. But when we entered the restaurant, I immediately sensed that there was no ambrosia waiting for us here. Outside, the rain began to fall, as ordered, to prepare us for the seriousness of this earthly meal. For our little goddess there were neither games nor chairs that were made for the little ones - not a given, but a sign of how little mortals sometimes think of the youngest. In a society that often shows little understanding for families, I would have expected more, at least here. The menu was, shall we say, modest. Some classics that every innkeeper in my homeland should know were completely missing. When a stuffed boulette was finally served, I expected a storm of flavors. But it was barely filled - a mortal joke, and the taste? Just average, like a feast among people. It remains a mystery to me how in a restaurant you can't get past the taste that we create even on the highest peaks on earth. The side salad was there, nothing more. And as the rain drummed against the windows outside, I had to contain my anger - after all, it's not my job to judge every meal as if it were an act of heaven. The prices? Mortally appropriate, that's right. But when a guest expects a meal under my protection, the result should be more than what could be achieved even with simple means. The location is positive: right on the beach, where the wind caresses the sea and the waves dance to a rhythm that even the muses would have liked. The interior of the Hellas is also pleasant, but the worn glasses are more reminiscent of bygone times. Just in time for the end of the meal, the rain subsided, as if fate itself wanted to remind us that not every earthly pleasure achieves the splendor of immortality. Three out of five stars for the Hellas. A place that could have more potential with a little divine intervention. Next time, may mortals feel the spark of inspiration and create a meal that will please us gods too

It was a successful evening. I really like the ambience. The menu and taste is good, it could be a little more Greek and special. It's bolder and more original, people are ready for it. The service was good, a bit smug and cold. On the other hand, as a birthday surprise, the serenade and the dessert were really nice, but the expression on the employees' faces made it seem a bit forced. Overall, a good restaurant and I would eat here again.

All dishes were very good and plentiful. Preparation time was quick and special requests were easily fulfilled. Very attractively priced. Service quick, friendly and unobtrusive.

First come, first serve...definitely doesn't apply here... Waiting for the table that was promised... but shortly afterwards other patients get the promised table... After 25 minutes of memorizing the menu, I was asked for drinks. Food arrived after about 55 minutes...some of it wrong.... Quality works like that. There should be more fish available at the lake. For a hotspot restaurant...well Some dorfs-sportheim Greeks definitely offer more... ....And then the remaining money is of course a tip???

We were looking for a special Greek person for our anniversary and found one at Hellas in Warnemünde. Because the Hanse Sail was on, we sat outside. The service was friendly and personable. The food tasted great to us. There were large portions that what we couldn't manage was packed for us. Regarding the prices, I have to say, quality has its price. After all, we know that Warnemünde is always more expensive. So don't complain, just enjoy good food. We would like to thank you for the great day and the delicious food. See you next time.

We ate there three times and can only report good things, super tasty, attentive staff, everything went quickly and smoothly... Prices are also okay, at least it's high season and the first row with a sea view... We're very excited and would love to come back.

Bad food and poor value for money. The atmosphere is very nice... Metaxa sauce tastes like Mensa tomato sauce. There was no taste of Metaxa

We ate there with our little daughter. She is only 17 months old. The waiters are all very fond of children and we were immediately offered and brought a children's chair. The food there was simply delicious.

Had a great meal, choice of mixed grill, but thought the giros and rice were a bit on the bland side. The giros was more like Dönner. I think it could have been more seasoned and the meat crispier. Salad and tzatiki was good. The weather was good and we were able to sit outside with a view of the boulevard. My husband had lamb fillet on a bed of peppers and rosemary potatoes. According to him, the dish was delicious.

Despite the restaurant being busy, the food we ordered came promptly. Unfortunately, the gyro would have liked to have been able to turn on the spit for a moment and the souvlaki would have needed a little more heat for another 1-2 minutes! Overall there was also some spice missing! All in all, the taste wasn't great for me, but it was still edible and sufficient.

We were really looking forward to the Greek food, but were very disappointed. We ordered the feta as a starter, nothing special and quite little, tasted a little sour. Main course super small portion, fries too dry, tzatziki and coleslaw didn't seem fresh, more like a ready-made product. The gyro was inedible...very limp and not crispy. It went back twice...the first time it came back exactly the same, the second time it was fried and also not edible. The service was still friendly. Paid a total of 90 euros for a few drinks and a very bad meal.

So we made a reservation and decided to sit outside instead. The table we selected was only roughly wiped down and didn't seem very inviting. Service was detached and imposed its very own sense of humor on the guests. We waited a long time for the cards, some of which fell apart. Other customers who arrived well after us were served more quickly. The starters we ordered were okay, but for over €8 they weren't very tasty. Unfortunately, the main courses were subpar, the meat was completely fried, poorly seasoned or not seasoned at all, and these dishes were also carelessly slapped onto the plate. It's a real shame, a beautiful view, a beautiful building, but with these conditions there won't be a second time.

On the terrace or in the restaurant, a very pleasant stay. The waiter noticed in passing that it was one of us's birthday and responded with a musical serenade and a beautifully prepared dessert.

You really don't ask for much on the Baltic Sea in terms of quality and value for money. But this restaurant was a huge disappointment for me! The fact that a main course for more than 25 euros does not come with a filling side dish (production costs a maximum of 1.5 euros) is included - and that an additional 5.50 euros is charged for a portion of rice is completely wrong. But the fact that a child's portion of pasta with tomato sauce (8.50 euros! - maximum production costs 1.50 euros) is so manageable that you have to order another to fill the child is not possible!!! The quality of the meat was also not convincing at all. Far too expensive and completely tasteless. In my opinion, every village Greek is 3x better and 5x cheaper. I have never woken up in a Greek restaurant so dissatisfied. For me, 0 points. For two adults (each a main course, a shandy or beer, no starter) and two small children (an apple spritzer and a children's dish) paid 94.30 euros. Even the one lukewarm ouzo on the house couldn't save the day. The salad would have fit in a coffee cup and was also completely tasteless. Hardly any dressing, no cheese, no bread, etc. I was so dissatisfied that I didn't tip a cent, something I've never done before in a restaurant. Only the friendliness towards small guests was convincing. And of course the view of the rainy Baltic Sea was good too. Once you've been there, you won't come back. My opinion.

The food itself was super tasty. The service deductions come from the fact that we immediately asked for drinks before we even had the cards. When we said that we wanted to choose something to drink, it felt like it took forever until a waiter came back to ask what we wanted to drink. When ordering our food, we stated that we wanted a starter to share. Unfortunately, the main courses came with the starter, which made the table quite cramped.

Good morning, We visited Hellas in the evening. The restaurant was well attended. Since it is the only Greek restaurant in Warnemünde, I would recommend reserving a table. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, unfortunately my gyros was only lukewarm. Maybe it could have been due to our group size. Something like that shouldn't happen at that price. There is one thing that bothered me. The rice plate usually comes with rice. I decided to swap the rice for fries. Both side dishes have the same price on the menu. To change the side dish, they charged €1 more for the dish. I don't understand why.

Hello everyone, today it was Greek time....I reserved seats at the window today....we were then supposed to sit at the entrance.....after we asked again, we were allowed to sit at the window....with the conditions in place to be ready in an hour. The food was warm, not hot. The dishes were neutrally seasoned. The waiter tells his anecdotes so loudly that everyone should hear them. The conclusion: there are much better Greeks. LG.KÜSTENJUNG

We had ordered a table for 5 people by the window, unfortunately we were seated at a different table when we arrived. The waiter was very accommodating, friendly and, overall, brought out the most positive thing about our visit. As a starter we wanted to eat 5 garlic bread, a plate came with a small round bread - that was really a joke. It looked like a burger bun. Price/performance was simply not right at all and we had to laugh a bit as the five of us were supposed to share the small bread. It would have been good to have some information in advance about the portion size. In the main courses, some of the meat was very dry, the liver was uneatable, and the rosemary potatoes were white (pale) and mushy. All in all, we were very disappointed because the prices are a bit more expensive compared to other Greek restaurants. We would not plan another visit. A pity!

The sound of the Baltic Sea is live, every now and then an Aida chugs out of the harbor towards the open sea. The food is really tasty and individual requests are responded to promptly: for example, for us: B. broad beans prepared with feta. it was really great with you.

It used to be good when it was still in the teapot. I last ate there in the summer of 2023, the worst biftiki of my life. It had nothing to do with Greek cuisine. Dry, bland and simply almost inedible. The restaurant will never see me again.

I ordered Befteki Gemisto with grilled pepperoni. The meat was indefinable and the side dishes were ready-made products (e.g. tzatziki). In terms of price, I paid a total of just under €45 including a drink, which I think is more expensive.

Service and location are simply great. But the price/performance ratio doesn't fit. For dishes between 20 and 30 € I expect that you will be full. We ordered an appetizer after our meal so we wouldn't leave the restaurant hungry. It was also the first Greek where there was no ouzo at the end. My wife ate the bifteki and was satisfied. However, there was only a bit of rice on the side and no fries. I had the gyro and was surprised to find carrots on it. In my opinion it doesn't fit together. I also didn't like the peppers in the tzatziki. But you can't argue about taste.

Honestly, during opening hours 😜 Hellas is a really cool shop! A great host, super friendly staff and above all the food is convincing! All of this at the normal Warnemünde prices. Thank you for all the great evenings and celebrations. I always enjoy being with you!
