No, definitely not. Sure the food is good but the service is an absolute disaster. Tried to order food, 35 minutes, phone is on the counter and that's it. Impossible for a service provider

I had a skewer of chicken breast fillet wrapped in bacon, fries and curry dip. Everything dry. The plates are big, but if you're really hungry you won't get enough. The price for it at 23.50 euros was also very expensive. However, I have to mention that the service was really great! There was also ouzo on the house right before serving. And then again with the bill. The location is very modern and offers plenty of space. In retrospect, I heard that some people are probably staying away due to the increased prices. Then at least the quality should be good. My friend's lamb was completely cooked too 🤷‍♀️ So, just give it a try.

Very tastefully decorated Greek restaurant. The staff is very attentive and really nice. The taste was very good, unfortunately the dish wasn't really hot for the second time. But at our request the staff in the kitchen made it even hotter. Unfortunately, not all dishes with stars are available at a reduced price, so you might want to reconsider that. Greek food, especially in the evening, is hard on the stomach 😬, and it was packed to take away at our request, but everything tastes better fresh on site.

Very nice, cozy place. Super nice and competent service, we felt very welcome the whole time. The food, whether starter or main course, was consistently delicious and very attractively prepared. There was lots of delicious ouzo. We would love to come back very soon!

Price-performance ratio quite good, appropriate portions. Were there on Boxing Day, 4 people and 1 child. The child's wishes were taken into account. Staff super friendly, food very tasty, typical Greek cuisine. Shop and toilets very clean. There are enough parking spaces opposite. You should make reservations accordingly.

I haven't been there for at least 25 years. The times with Thomas and Helena were legendary... (bowling alleys of the then "Deutsche Haus", early in the morning... so I set off just for a simple gyros. When I arrived I was really amazed. The whole ambience It's really very nice and, above all, not lit in bright white. Lamb with white beans and sheep's cheese. Simply five stars. I'll definitely come back. It couldn't be better.

We were guests here the night before last and can't understand the bad reviews here. We had a very nice evening. The ambience is great. Everything is very harmoniously and comfortably furnished. The music is also not intrusive, as is sometimes the case in Greek restaurants. :) The food seemed to be of very high quality and was extremely tasty. The staff were without exception very courteous, motivated and friendly. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Griechiche Restaurants gibt es gefühlt an jeder Ecke. Die meisten sind vergleichbar. Wirft man einen Blick auf die Speisekarte, wird schnell klar, dass auch hier das Standard Programm serviert wird. Aber Qualität der Speisen, der Service und auch die Atmosphäre sind wirklich erstklassig und verdient 5 Sterne. Dennoch gibt es einen Stern Abzug, weil das Preisniveau im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz deutlich zu hoch ist. Dennoch kommen wir gerne wieder!

We were there on a Friday evening without prior reservation. It was immediately suggested that the next table was ours. That's what happened. Very friendly staff, very tasty cuisine. Very decent portions. Gladly again. Highly recommended.

Food very tasty. But the waiter was really over motivated. Gave us a table for 65min. Been there for two. The appetizer plate was already taken away from one person when the other wasn't finished. Wanted to clear away two half-full ouzo glasses. Another waiter was out the winter garden door and in the whole time at 2 degrees, even though there was no one outside. This made it extremely cold. We understand if time is short due to reservations. But then next time it's better to refuse than to rush. The prices are then too high for that. We were lured by the reviews but wouldn't return three stars but for the food. Delicious.

The price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. Unfortunately!! We enjoy visiting this restaurant but were negatively surprised on our last visit at the beginning of September. In the past, the lamb fillet came with potato gratin as a side dish at no extra charge. Recently there is no side dish with the main course. The lamb fillet is only served with a small dollop of Metaxa sauce and without rice, which is what we are entitled to according to the menu. An amount of over 27 euros will be charged for this. The restaurant charges 6.50 euros for a small portion of potato gratin with very few potatoes. A portion of tzatziki, which most Greek restaurants provide to their guests free of charge (hospitality theme), also costs €6.50. Until this pricing policy changes, we will unfortunately no longer visit this restaurant. The fact that I have generally increased the prices for the products is understandable for us (fish, meat, vegetables, etc.) and is generally the current problem in the catering industry. However, we are quite disappointed that you have to pay over €6.50 each for sauces (yoghurt with garlic and cucumbers) and some potatoes. For €6.50 I can get a maxi doner. The pricing policy urgently needs to be improved as some guests also complained about it that evening. The consequence will be that guests will stay away in the future.

The food is really delicious and reasonably priced, the service could do with some work. On weekends it's more loud than in a train station bar, I've never experienced anything like that.

We had dinner there on a Sunday a week ago with six people. The reception was very friendly, the orders were taken quickly and an Uozo was served on the house before the meal. The different dishes (3 different ones) were served promptly and relatively at the same time. What we ALL didn't like was that the food was ALL lukewarm at most! The gyrps meat was really VERY dry and not to OUR taste. Friendly, clean, but not really convincing for us.

Delicious Greek cuisine in a lovely atmosphere

The visit to Syrtaki was very worthwhile from start to finish. For us the food is top notch and delicious! The service was super nice and very attentive but not intrusive. People even asked whether they wanted to continue with the main course immediately after the starter or whether they would like to take a short break first. We also really liked the atmosphere with very comfortable chairs. The tables could perhaps be a little larger, as it was very tight for 4 people during the main course. We will definitely visit Syrtaki again one or two times, TOP address for Greek food!!!!

You definitely have to reserve a table here. The food was really very tasty. There was gratinated gyros, which is served here, among other things. gratinated with feta. Delicious. It was very busy, but the service was attentive and we didn't wait too long for our food. The atmosphere is pleasant and we had a nice evening.

As with everyone, there is less on the plate and more expensive. Quality is very good. And the clothes smell strongly of food afterwards.

Typical Greek specialties are available here in an upscale gastronomic atmosphere with friendly and attentive service staff. When you stand in front of the entrance you don't believe in what you see and get. Visits here are also recommended by myself.

I was there with 3 friends on a Thursday at around 6:30 p.m. Luckily we had reservations. It was pretty crowded. I ordered tzatziki as a starter and baked gyros as the main course. Previously there was an ouzo. It was really delicious 😋 and we were more than full. The service was very nice. Gladly again.

The service is terrible. You don't need to make a reservation if you can't get a table on site anyway and just stand around and wait. However, others who have not reserved will be preferred. Ridiculous

It was my wife's wedding anniversary and we wanted to end the evening at Syrtaki on the recommendation of a Greek friend. We had already made a reservation the day before based on recommendations from the Syrtaki restaurant at 8 p.m. because we actually wanted to come at 6 p.m. So we were there promptly at 7:50 p.m. The boss told us we had to wait a bit, we were early anyway. A few more couples came and were also ordered at 8 p.m. So we wait in the narrow entrance area near the toilet to get a table because it was cold and wet outside. After 20 minutes we were still standing where we were. About 7 people came from outside and asked us if we were waiting and had a reservation and told us that they hadn't made a reservation. Then one person went to the boss who was standing near us and said to him that you came from the city administration. Everyone got a table immediately because others left and we were still standing in the entrance area and were calmed down with ouzo. Waiting guests had already left in anger. Then I noticed that the boss went outside and invited a group of 5 people in and were assigned a table. They were probably regulars. At 8:30 p.m. we were still standing in the entrance area, so 40 minutes of waiting and still no table. We had enough of it. We made our displeasure known to the boss, but he probably didn't care because his store was probably running anyway. I've never experienced anything like this before and then I went out with my wife and went to the Delphi restaurant and immediately got a table and also met the people who also left Syrtaki in a stink. The conclusion is that only regular guests or employees of offices are given preference..... Never again Syrtaki in Bad Oeynhausen.... And dear boss of Syrtaki... I don't need an apology from you.... The one that gave me your restaurant recommended is a relative of yours.... Thanks for nothing I can't rate the food as there wasn't any for us

It was a tip from a good friend. We were looking forward to it but unfortunately very, very disappointed 😞 Despite ordering a table, we still don't have our table after 40 minutes. People came after us and got a table before us. Regular guests and acquaintances seem to have priority. New customers are ignored and calmed down with ouzo. When I told him after 40 minutes that we were very upset, he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't care. We're never coming back. I have never experienced something like that. He probably doesn't need it.

Whether you have to charge an extra 1 euro for the bread you order with tzatziki is a matter of taste - for me it doesn't have to be. Unfortunately the main course was terribly bad. Number 77 - eat cold. Fries still light and raw inside. Meat not seasoned and gyros barely cooked through. Visually it was a big plate with fries and lots of meat - someone in the kitchen didn't feel like serving it anymore.

We had made a reservation in advance for this evening. We were immediately given a time to eat. The reservation was booked for us in 1.5 hours. Tonight didn't feel like “eating out”!, more like a fast food restaurant in a canteen .No flyer, very restless, just quickly eat, pay and leave! We hadn't made a reservation, but a place was looked for, found and nicely prepared for us. Unfortunately, we had a football team celebrating wildly next to us, which destroyed the ambience and atmosphere with loud shouting. The food was sumptuous and very tasty. We would have liked to stay longer, but the restlessness and noise forced us to leave quickly. A separate room would have been better in this case...

Wir sind mit Freunden aufm Samstag hier gewesen. im großen und ganzen war alles sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker und viel. Das einzige was uns gestört hat war der Lärm. Natürlich war das Restaurant voll und es ist klar das man sich unterhält. Nur wir saßen entweder im Gartenhaus oder Anbau Bereich. Wir könnten uns nur schwer verstehen und müssten sehr laut miteinander sprechen. Dadurch sind wir leider direkt nach dem Essen gefahren weil wir uns nicht entspannen konnten. Wir waren schon mal hier essen und saßen woanders und haben es nicht so empfunden wie diesmal. Also Geschmack sache kein Beschwerde

Ich habe nur Gutes von dem Restaurant gehört und wollte mir einen eigenen Eindruck erlauben. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend, aber dann kam dass Essen.🫣 Die Vorspeise gebackener Käse mit Tomaten und Zwiebeln, war gewöhnungsbedürftig, da die Zwiebeln,Tomate und die Paprika ( warum auch immer die da war), total kalt und roh oben drauf lagen. Der Käse war lecker, aber so kenne ich das Gericht nicht.🤔 Danach gab es Gyros mit Pommes. Die Pommes waren total weich und das Gyros an einigen Stellen noch roh und nicht knusprig, desweiteren muss man in diesem Restaurant ganze 6 Euro für einen Teller Zaziki bezahlen, da es keinen zum Gyros dazu gibt. Es gab Kretanische Kartoffeln von Haus und die waren schön in etwas fettigem ertrunken, da hätte ich liebe einen Klecks Zaziki zu meinen Gyros gehabt. Meine Begleitperson war auch irritiert, über ihr Gericht und wir sind übereingekommen, dass wir leider nicht zu den weiteren Gästen gehören werden.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker, wir waren auch mit dem Service immer zufrieden. Das einzige was ich schade finde, das wenn man sich zum Beispiel Gyros bestellt, es dazu nicht ein bisschen Zaziki gibt ich finde das gehört einfach dazu. Dieses muss extra bestellt werden und dann hat man eine große Schale was persönlich zuviel ist.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit leckeren Essen und einem guten Service. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne.

Wir haben das Restaurant durch Zufall während einer Rückreise vom Urlaub besucht. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, der Service hervorragend und zu den bestellten Speisen gab es vorab leckeres geröstetes Brot mit Olivenöl und zum Essen noch eine Dreingabe vom Koch (Kartoffelauflauf)...also bisher das mit Abstand beste griechische Restaurant was wir erleben durften. Wir werden mit Sicherheit hier wieder einen Stopp einlegen.

Absolut leckeres und reichhaltiges Angebot. Sehr schöne, kreative Idee auch das "Diät-Hähnchen" (nur Hähnchen und Gemüse.) Absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant! Sehr erwähnenswert auch der aufmerksame Service. Wir zwei waren sehr zufrieden! 👍
