Restaurant Delphi in Bad Oeynhausen

The reception was really nice. A small, fine lady led me to a beautiful table. But then she came back after a few minutes and said I couldn't sit here because it was for four people. Then I was directed to a table next to the toilet door... Service was ok. Not more! The staff was running around mindlessly and had no plan. The ambience was also just ok. Now to the food: gyros with fries and tzatziki. But unfortunately only the food was ok…

The food and service were nice and tasty... Price performance was ok, eating out in the restaurant has generally become more expensive... Although half a block of sheep's cheese for that price... well... Mine was delicious...gyros with mushrooms and cheese...the mushroom sauce was very dominant... The grilled pepperonis were great...

I can't recommend it! The food itself was ok, but the service was subpar. By the way, the portions are a joke for the money! One lady was very unfriendly. As we sat outside we were hit 4 times by the door which slammed against the table with full force. If we hadn't put the tables together, the door would have blown against our backs. Furthermore, the service person stood next to us and made an impossible gesture that we should hand over the plates to her. Sorry but I wouldn't go there again.

I'm always a bit skeptical about Greek food because there are often no sauces on the grill plates. So I ordered a grilled plate with bifteki and gyros in Metaxa sauce and gratinated with cheese and it was really delicious. I also ordered a lamb fillet, which was also great. I also tried my friend's tzatziki, which I also found delicious. I also thought the large selection was great. I think everyone will find something there. The only negative point: the lamp on the ceiling flickered badly, but since there were enough other light sources, I was still able to relax. But should be fixed soon.

Mega tasty, large portions and friendly/attentive staff. Just a bit loud and cramped in the restaurant. Have been here several times and would love to come back.

Rip off. Rip-off rip-off!!!! We used to love being here, but since then the change in ownership has been disastrous!!! Lamb fillet ordered first everything good for €27.90!!! But!!!! They rip you off by cutting through the meat and making two thin slices!!! When asked, the unfriendly boss says we'll bring another slice because I wasn't paying attention...??!!! Then she says that's how it is with us, otherwise they get up and leave!!!! Impudence 100%. Spa guests please be careful!!!! Because there are definitely no regular guests here since the owner changed around two years ago... Since then it has been a disaster with this rip-off and this terrible, unfriendly hospitality!!! Again…! Rip-off purr!!!! They run this restaurant primarily for unexpected spa guests, please be careful!!!

I ordered an appetizer to go. Waitress was nice, I can't really say anything about the atmosphere since I was only in the restaurant for a short time. The breaded sheep's cheese was also delicious, but I don't think the price of €9 was justified at all. To be honest, I was annoyed that I ordered the dish. The menu says ''with tomato and cucumber''. I found the amount of tomatoes and cucumber and the weak presentation form in general very disappointing.

Service an imposition. I wanted to leave when you have to wait so long! Had no insight!

I'm going to rehab in Bad Oeynhausen and invited my visitors to dinner. We spontaneously went to the Delphi and didn't regret it. My daughter and I had gyros to satisfy our hunger, although I didn't find the portions particularly small. For me it was enough, my daughter didn't manage to finish her plate. My wife was also happy with her meal. Before the rehab is over, I'll definitely go to Delphi again.

The food is delicious and served quickly at lunchtime. But not outstanding. Unfortunately there is no salad buffet. A pity. If necessary, stop by if you don't have a better Greek restaurant at hand!

We ate there today with 4 people. When ordering food, a portion of rice was ordered that never arrived. You had to wait a long time for the drinks and ask again if Msn could order something to drink. When it came to the bill, they added the rice that wasn't available, like a Pilsner, which was overcharged.

We were very excited, were there while visiting our mom in rehab and got the recommendation for this restaurant, which we followed up on. We didn't regret it, the food was delicious, the service was very nice and the location was perfect. Would definitely eat there again if we are nearby.

Very nice little restaurant, nice service, short waiting time, value for money, super clean white tablecloths, free ouzo, the food was super hearty and spicy. The appetizer platter is an excellent mix of grilled Greek specialties and is easily enough for 2-3 people. We felt very comfortable. Would recommend it to everyone.

Ich habe gebratene Kalamari mit gegrillten Peperoni besteht. Die Kalamari waren zu meiner Verwunderung nicht gebraten sondern frittiert und offensichtlich ein convenience Produkt. Die Peperoni kamen mir in ihrer Konsistenz bekannt vor und waren offensichtlich ein Glasprodukt welches lediglich im Ofen erhitzt und mit einer Knoblauchpaste bestrichen wurde. Die Darbietung und der Geschmack der Gerichte war mehr als gewöhnlich - ich kann Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

I ordered some food and a non-alcoholic Banana Wheat (I don't drink). The food was forgotten at first and only arrived after almost an hour. It was mediocre and carelessly stacked on top of each other. That wouldn't have been worth a bad review for me, BUT: The wheat wasn't alcohol-free (which I noticed about halfway through), and as an "apology" I was offered an ouzo! (Yes, seriously) A lady at the next table got it. I had been alcohol free for over a year.

Large portions, nice service and the food is really delicious. Very large menu with something for everyone. The restaurant is recommended. Clean tables and tablecloths.

Once or twice a year, coming from Langenhagen (near Hanover), I meet a friend who travels from Bad Essen in Bad Oeynhausen for a long chat over a good meal in the Delphi restaurant. I ordered a table long beforehand by phone. Our desired time was 6:00 p.m. I was asked if it was also possible at 5:30 p.m., to which I replied in the affirmative. We got to the restaurant on time and were seated at a small table opposite the entrance door (cold draft), right on the main path of the service staff (the place was "packed") and right next to a small wall on which the reservation books were lying and someone from them was actually non-stop Service staff called and placed. That was very borderline. The food came quickly, there were also two ouzos, and I only got the bread for the tzatziki when I asked. The food was very good. Just as we were thinking about ordering another coffee and a dessert, a completely stressed service person came to our table, slammed the reader on the table and said: "So, I have to collect now, the table has to be cleared now!" And the whole thing at 6:45 p.m.!!!!! So after 1 hour 15 minutes. Without warning, without anyone talking about a time limit in advance! We hadn't even finished our drinks yet. It's a shame that non-regular customers are treated like this here.

Nice little restaurant. Unfortunately very crowded, loud and narrow. Staff was nice, but could have been more attentive when it came to “drink replenishment”. Food was ok. Price-performance is consistent.

Actually it's a nice restaurant. Apart from the fact that our food was unfortunately cold and little. But it was also a bit expensive. Afterwards I got a stomach ache. The service was very nice and the ambience was also really nice. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food.

We had salmon with prawns, the salmon was juicy and tasty. The suflaki and the gyros were also very good and the portions weren't too big. Finally there was ouzo or espresso.

As soon as we had eaten and the plates had been cleared, the waitress appeared at the table with the bill without being asked.

Unfortunately, I made the wrong choice: fresh zucchini and eggplant from the pan are breaded, fat-soaked "schnitzel" and the saganaki, which was supposed to come with tomatoes and cucumbers, had a slice of cucumber and a cut of tomato - much more decoration than a side dish. Even though I pointed this out to the waitress, there was no offer to make my meal tasty. And in the end everything was calculated. We didn't even get a small salad, which I had specially ordered - after being disappointed with the cucumber and tomato - for free. I returned half the food.

It was very tasty and the service was really top! When we are back in Bad Oenhausen, we will come back 👍🏻

Second time there, fast service good food

Super delicious food. It's been a long time since I've eaten something so good and rich. 👍 The rooms were a bit too cold. Whenever the front door opened it was pretty cold. Probably due to the time of year. But a thick curtain might help. The toilets were also freezing cold, but clean.

It was very loud because it was very very crowded. Except for the slightly dry bread in the starter, the food was super tasty! Despite there being so much going on, the service ladies were incredibly polite and helpful. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes until we could get a table. We were somewhat “ignored” beforehand. There were several others standing and waiting, some then left. However, I don't know if they had reservations. The prices are absolutely right and the food, especially the meat, was really great.

RESPECT!!! Kicked out of the restaurant after 3/4 hours because the table was reserved for someone else. You probably have too much money here and, above all, TOO MANY CUSTOMERS! Thank you - we will never come back!! Unbelievable stuff like that!!!

Service attentive, unfortunately the food wasn't my thing. If you're still eating the starter, the main course shouldn't be served. The tomato soup was very fatty. The pork fillet was drowned in the pepper sauce, fries OK, salad carelessly prepared. It was my first Visit and also my last. Too bad

Ich hatte für Samstag um 19 Uhr einen Tisch für eine Person reserviert und dies auch ausdrücklich am Telefon mitgeteilt. Als ich um fünf vor sieben im Restaurant ankam musste ich mindestens fünf Minuten an der Tür warten weil es Probleme mit meinem Tisch gab. Ich habe die Bedienung gefragt wo das Problem liegt und sie sagte mir, dass der Tisch anderweitig vergeben war. Ich stand dort wie bestellt aber nicht abgeholt. Etwas später kam dann die Chefin zu mir und brachte mich zu einem kleinen Tisch den sie von ein Sechser Tisch in die Mitte des Ganges gezogen hatte. Ich kam mir vor als würde ich in der Mitte eines Kreisverkehrs sitzen. Als direkt neben mir ein Dreier Tisch frei wurde habe ich die Kellnerin gefragt, ob ich dort sitzen könne, was sie bejahte. Sie legte eine neue Tischdecke auf und teilte mir mit, dass es leider doch nicht geht weil dort drei neue Gäste sitzen würden. Kurze Zeit später wurde hinter mir ein Zweier Tisch frei und ich fragte erneut die Kellnerin ob ich wechseln dürfe. Sie gab mir nur ein müdes Lächeln aber ich bestand darauf, dass sie ihre Chefin fragt. Ich bekam keine Antwort von der Chefin, die allerdings 30 Sekunden später ein Pärchen von einem Sechser Tisch an den Zweier Tisch setzte. Ich habe darauf hin die Chefin angesprochen, die mir sehr unfreundlich mitteilte, dass ich doch gleich hätte gehen sollen und dass sie am Wochenende eigentlich keine Einzelpersonen annehmen. Nach einem Gespräch hat sie jedenfalls eingesehen, dass der Fehler beim Lokal liegt und nicht bei mir. Mir war mittlerweile der Appetit vergangen und ich habe nur die Hälfte meines Menus gegessen. Schade, dass man dort aus Profitgier so mit seinen Kunden umgeht. Das habe ich der Chefin so auch mitgeteilt und ihr gesagt, dass ich ihr Lokal nicht wieder besuchen würde. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass es ein Kurort ist. Die meisten Gäste kommen ein oder zweimal während Ihres Aufenthalts und man muss sie nicht gut behandeln. Es reicht wenn sie ihr Geld dort lassen. Ich musste übrigens den vollen Preis bezahlen.

Gutes und sehr leckeres Essen. Das Restaurant war gut besucht,das auch zurecht. Wir bekamen zu unserer Bestellung noch 2 Ouzos wie es sich bei einem Griechen gehört. Sehr freundlicher Service Das Ambiente war auch sehr typisch für ein Griechisches Restaurant. Der Mykos Teller und die Weinblätter waren wirklich sehr nach meinem Geschmack. Das Vegetarische Gericht mit Feta mit Spinat in Blätterteig waren wirklich gelungen. Und zu den vegetarischen Nudeln gab es auch nur Lob . Ein Kleinen Abzug gibt es aber ,nur aufgrund dessen das der Teller etwas fülliger sein könnte. Für den Preis Es gibt aber auch eine Karte für den großen Hunger, vielleicht hätte ich mich daran etwas mehr erfreut. Vielleicht beim nächsten Besuch, Denn wir kommen gerne wieder

War ganz lecker das Gyros im Pflännchen mit Metaxxasoße nur die Pommes waren ein bisschen wenig.

Heiligabend hier sehr gut gegessen. Gute Portionen man wird bestimmt satt. Sehr familiär, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Kommen gerne wieder hier hin, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Hallo meine lieben Leute, gestern war ich mit einem Bekannten dort essen ,da wir hier in porta Westfalica in der reha sind. Und wir extrem Kohldampf hatten... Kann ich euch dieses Restaurant, sehr zuvorkommender Service, sympathisch. Das Restaurant an sich könnte bestimmt wiederholt und generell renoviert werden sonst typisch Griechisch. Essen und Trinken war wirklich sensationell.

Super nettes, aufmerksames und sehr schnelles Personal. Auch unser Sonderwunsch wurde kurzerhand umgesetzt und erfüllt... sowie mit Ouzo wurde nicht gespart. Man hat sich sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und alles frisch. Preis /Leistung ist mehr als perfekt und wir werden wiederkommen. Tisch Reservierung unbedingt beachten. Ein Geheimtipp!!

Das Essen war gut. Der Ablauf war etwas suboptimal. Vorspeise war noch nicht aufgegessen da war die Hauptspeise schon da. Ansonsten alles im Rahmen.

Die Gerichte die wir uns ausgesucht hatten waren sehr gut und lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ging auch auf unsere Sonderwünsche ein. Auch die hilfsbereitschaft ist super. Unserer Oma mit Rollator wurde perfekt geholfen. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne vorbei zum Essen.

Essen war super lecker, Ambiente hätte noch schöner sein können, wenn die Beleuchtung etwas gezielter eingesetzt würde (warmweiße statt kaltweiße Glühbirnen, Windlichter auf den Tischen etc). Service war sehr gut und freundlich.

Die Lammhaxe war butterweich, ich hätte sie auch mit einem Löffel essen können. Sehr zu empfehlen! Die Vorspeisen waren auch lecker. Vom Ambiente leider etwas laut, aber das lag sicherlich auch daran, dass es Samstag war, und somit wirklich jeder Tisch komplett voll besetzt war.

Waren heute dort mit Frau und einer Tante essen. Ich hatte die 71, es war einfach perfekt und sooooo lecker. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder, auch wenn der Weg weit ist.

Wir waren am Wochenende, Freitag / Samstag im Delphi mit unserem Enkel ( Rollstuhlfahrer u. In B. Oeynhausen zur Reha ) zweimal Essen da es uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat und wir eine sehr freundliche und lockere Beduenung hatten. Wir haben fast alle Fleischsorten probiert alles 1. Klasse vor allem auch das Lamm. Hatten erstmalig auch Lammhaxe.....Perfekt. Absolut zu empfehlen und die Preise sind auch noch einigermaßen moderat. Wir besuchen unseren Enkel nochmal und kommen wieder.
