Restaurant Syrtaki in Oberhausen

Besser geht es nicht. Es gibt in der Umgebung viele griechische Restaurants, aber dieses hier ist für mich ganz persönlich das Allerbeste. Wir kommen mit der Familie immer extra aus Gladbeck - und das heißt schon was. Mein Vater liebt das Leber-Gericht. Wer hier nicht satt wird ist selber schuld. Bisher gab es nie Beanstandungen, weder von unserer Familie noch von Freunden oder von anderen Gästen an Nebentischen, wenn wir dort waren. Der Service ist spitze und so aufmerksam habe ich es wo anders noch nicht erlebt. Wir fühlen uns hier wie ein Bumerang, denn wir kommen ganz sicher immer wieder.😁 Danke und lieber Gruß aus Gladbeck

Danke, für die schöne Zeit! Zum Geburtstag vom Vater zu Gast gewesen. Nostalgie! Waren vor mehr als 37 Jahren (!) die ersten Male dort. Gastraum wiedererkannt, natürlich "geöffnet" worden und angepasst. Preis-Leistung top. Service sehr aufmerksam und total freundlich. Echt familiär. Gute Speisen zu echt sehr fairen Preisen! Herzlichen Dank und meine Empfehlung!

Wir waren jetzt schon öfter dort essen und es war immer sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett. Wir kommen definitiv öfter dort essen. Ich empfehle euch nicht nur das Restaurant, sondern auch zu reservieren.

Guter Grieche bei dem es schmeckt. Die Portionsgröße empfand ich als etwas zu klein für mich. Ist aber etwas meckern auf hohem Niveau. Das Ambiente ist gut und die Kellner nett.

Lokal etwas in die Jahre gekommen..Lage nicht die schönste. Das macht aber der Service und das reichliche leckere Essen wieder wett. Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Ein grieche wie man ihn erwartet.

Unverschämt! Wir waren schon oft zu Gast in diesem Restaurant und mit dem Essen und Preis/Leistung auch wirklich sehr zufrieden aber der Service und die Gastfreundschaft sind einfach mies. Beim Auswählen der Gerichte fühlt man sich schon unter Druck gesetzt und erntet genervtes Augenrollen sofern man noch 2 Minuten braucht, nachdem das Essen gebracht wurde kommt ewig keiner mehr an den Tisch, Getränke- Nachbestellungen gehen gerne mal unter und den Ouzo aufs Haus braucht man zur Rechnung auch nicht erwarten. Man fühlt sich überhaupt nicht willkommen. Wir werden uns einen anderen Griechen suchen!

Sehr leckere, ehrliche, bodenständige Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nice staff, good price/performance ratio

We come to Syrtaki at least once a month and are absolutely thrilled every time! The food is simply fantastic – fresh, delicious, and at very reasonable prices. The value for money is truly outstanding here. We would also like to particularly highlight the staff: everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. For us, Syrtaki in Oberhausen is definitely our favorite Greek restaurant, and we look forward to our visit every time. Highly recommended!

A lovingly run restaurant with a lovely beer garden. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. If it were in our area, this would be our regular.

Great food, super friendly service

The food was okay. When it came time to pay, the manager became very rude because I had the nerve to present a voucher. The remaining balance of €22.80 could not be paid by card. No explanation was given. Black money and the tax office say hello.

Very good Greek restaurant. Very friendly staff but be careful at 9 p.m. sharp no more food, no more possibility of having a dessert or a coffee, everything is already ready for the next day even though we went there on a Saturday evening 😰

We eat at this restaurant regularly. The food, prices, ambience and staff are outstanding. In addition, everyone is really fond of children. Our little son Fiete feels at least as comfortable as we do. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

The staff was, as always, very friendly. I was there with my wife and ordered Giro's special. When the food arrived I was surprised at how little meat there was on the plate. In addition, the meat was light gray throughout, not covered with a brown crust like I expected. Well my wife started eating, it looked delicious too, but no one came to our table for minutes so I could have complained. Then I ate the side dishes so that my wife didn't have to eat alone. At some point the boss came and asked if she should pack my Giros, which I said no for the reasons mentioned. Her answer was that the restaurant was very busy and if I wanted crispy giros I would have had to say so beforehand. Sorry I have to explain to the Greek restaurant owners how to serve decent Giros? I was then offered a new portion. Should I eat it alone just so I'm full? I was then allowed to pay the full bill with the advice that next time I should say how I would like my food. The next step is that I grill my own food. We will not visit the restaurant again. I still gave a small tip. Was gratefully accepted. She wasn't embarrassed.

Very friendly restaurant, delicious and with very friendly staff. On the other hand, being French, we are not used to German schedules, in fact the end of service is at 9:30 p.m. whereas in France it remains open. Thanks again for the free Uzos!

Have been a regular customer here for years, but experienced absolute outrageousness today, super bad service, some people didn't take orders, some drinks didn't come at all. Food still wasn't there after 2 hours. Both the waiters and the boss were extremely bad-tempered and super unfriendly. Criticism was not accepted at all. The tables next to us and those who came after us got food before us. No accommodation or understanding at all. Then the wrong food was brought. Never again !

I remember the restaurant from my childhood because my parents often took me there to eat. The food was first class, as I remembered, and the service was very attentive. Good portions and absolutely reasonable prices. Thank you for a few lovely hours with you.

Large and very clean Greek restaurant. The furnishings in the restaurant and winter garden are very cozy and invite you to stay. The staff is attentive and quick without being intrusive. The menu is very, very large and the selection of dishes is enormous. The prices are at a pleasingly low level. The dishes are very large and extremely tasty. TOP!!

Price performance is absolutely right

I had a Metaxa plate. Delicious. The sauce is great. Sazicki great. All very tasty. We will be back.

No better than a chip shop. Fried meat, salad with sauce from the bottle, cheap fries...grilled plate, gyros without tzatziki. Tk schnitzel.

Seit langem mal hier wieder essen gewesen. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Die Inhaber/Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind angemessen. Schönes Ambiente wie man es von einem griechischen Restaurant kennt. Empfehle ich gerne weiter. Ευχαριστώ.
