Restaurant Steigmühlenstube in Füssen

We went there three times during our vacation and were completely thrilled, I can't understand negative reviews at all! Went there with our dog on the first day which wasn't a problem! When we are in the area again we will definitely stop and have another delicious meal! Thanks for that!

I can't say anything about the food. I had a flat tire and wanted to sit on the terrace in the shade on the rest day to wait for help on a hot day. I asked if that would be possible. The answer was: "If it absolutely has to be." After I actually stayed there for 5 minutes, the same lady came out and asked me how long it would take because she had to do something out there. Conclusion: Unfriendliness 5 points

We went there despite the negative reviews. I simply had a good feeling because the restaurant already had a cozy atmosphere in the pictures. My feeling wasn't wrong. We felt very comfortable. I had no problem with the service at all! A very nice, quiet lady who served us very kindly. It was very pleasant. If you want a raunchy entertainer, you just have to go somewhere else. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It is not a mass processing operation, but a small, cozy restaurant. Anyone who complains that a restaurant of this size “only” has one high chair for children is probably not getting much out of it. I would have simply moved the stroller, but pragmatism doesn't suit everyone. It's better to damage a good restaurant with written sensibilities. We sat quietly and relaxed on the terrace of the restaurant with a view of the mountain panorama. A very pleasant atmosphere. The other guests also seemed relaxed and happy. I can highly recommend the homemade linonade. It was really refreshing and really tasty. My husband had a beer and the schnitzel. I had the trout and a Riesling. We enjoyed it very much. The drinks were at exactly the right temperature. You can eat excellently there. When we're back in the area, we'll be happy to come back. See you soon!

We called and got a nice table for us and our dog straight away. Great service, nice ambience, very clean and well maintained, top food. We had pork fillet with vegetables and handmade knöpfle. Price is also completely okay. We'd love to come back.

Very good food and I was also allowed to eat inside/the inside area was actually closed/because I have a wasp allergy and there were a lot of wasps outside. Thanks for that, we'll be back.

Super delicious food! We made a reservation with two small children! The waitress was super friendly and the children got their food at the same time as our starter. So we could enjoy our very good main course in peace! There was also a children's menu. The quality of the food was very good, we will definitely come here again!

Very child-friendly and therefore extremely family-unfriendly. We were there with two families, both with small children. There is only one(!!) children's chair in the entire restaurant. The waitress who served was anything but friendly. Then we packed it up and left. Conclusion: if you have children, you should avoid this restaurant.

Were there for dinner. We were lucky to get a place. Almost all tables were reserved. Food was okay, conditions were friendly. The prices were a bit high for my taste.

The food is delicious! Excellent cuisine with fresh ingredients. The salads in particular are a dream! Service friendly and attentive! We've been enjoying coming here for years! It is advisable to reserve in advance by telephone.

1.5 hours before closing time, we were informed immediately after entering that the kitchen had already closed. Our wish to just have a few drinks on the terrace in the best summer weather was denied by the visibly listless waitress because the terrace door was already closed. We were assigned a place inside where we could drink our beer “quickly” (!). That was too stupid for us. Opposite there is a great Osteria with friendly service and a terrace with a great view over Lake Weissensee, where we felt welcome.

We came on a Sunday evening without a reservation, and shortly afterwards the restaurant was completely filled. The service was very friendly and professional, the food was very, very delicious. Super seasoned, beautifully prepared, we were very impressed. The restaurant is quaint and really cozy. We can definitely recommend the Steigmühlenstube and will definitely visit it again on our vacation.

We spent 7 days in Füssen Weissensee. We ate somewhere different almost every evening. Good everywhere, but the last two days in the Steigmühlenstube were by far the best. If we had landed here on the first evening, we would have eaten here all week. We can unreservedly recommend the Steigmühlenstube. Food is incredibly good. Service very nice. Atmosphere quaintly cozy. Prices fair. I would like to have a room like this in Cologne.

Nice rustic restaurant in Weißensee. I had a Geschnetzeltes with Spätzle, which couldn't be beaten in terms of taste. Very strongly seasoned, which I found very good. My husband had the cheese spaetzle. They were also tasty, although rather mild. They could have used a little more kick for our taste. The service seemed rather distant, but was polite and very attentive.

Very nice hostess with great service, plus excellent food with a good price/performance ratio (for this region). We can highly recommend the restaurant and would be happy to stop by again on our next vacation.

After a long hike, we returned to the Steigmühlenstube hungry today. We received a friendly welcome even without prior appointment. The food was very plentiful and tasty, and our special requests for dessert were no problem. Always my pleasure.

We had onion roast beef with spaetzle. Meat was medium medium. But spaetzle was clearly not enough, about 2 tablespoons. I had cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately, you can't see the onions because they were already mixed in. Actually the best too The cheese spaetzle portion was good and so I was able to give it to my husband.

We spontaneously stopped by in the evening (3 people) and were given a very friendly welcome. The food was so delicious 😋 that we ate there again the next evening. Service top, kitchen top, price absolutely right and recommended!! The pumpkin-sweet-chilli spaghetti will be a challenge at home, thank you for two great evenings!

Nice restaurant with a good southern German atmosphere Recommended

When we are at Weißensee, we actually stop here at least once every year. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is consistently delicious. The salads with fantastic sauce are particularly recommended. We also often use herb-crusted rump steak or duck breast. There is also something for everyone on the children's menu.

Wir haben spontan unseren letzten Urlaubsabend hier verbracht. Bayrische Hausmannskost auf der Karte, gemütlicher Gastraum und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten Schweinefleisch mit Spätzle und frischen Pilzen. Kann man wirklich nur empfehlen.

Beliebtes, hervorragendes Restaurant haben toll gegessen, dringend vorbestellen! Tische werden 2mal am Abend vergeben

Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Essen wird rasch serviert. Wer grossen Hunger hat, sollte die Käsespätzle geniessen. Grosse Portion erhalten.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bewirtung. Moderate Preise. Ein Manko ist allerdings dass die Stühle im Biergaten sehr eng sind für Menschen die etwas breiter sind 😁

We hebben hier gegeten tijdens ons verblijf in Feriendorf Weissensee. Menu is voldoende gevarieerd. Personeel is vriendelijk. Eten smaakte goed.

Sehr netter Empfang durch die freundliche Bedienung. Die Gaststätte ist sehr urig, voll gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Endlich mal wieder ein Restaurant, wo man die Spätzle auf dem Teller nicht zählen kann, aber keine dicken Backen machen muss, wenn man zum Schluss die Rechnung bekommt.

Waren leider ein paar Minuten zu spät für den Mittagstisch. Haben Kuchen gegessen und Kaffee getrunken. Kuchen hausgemacht und sehr gut. Kaffee super lecker. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Danke war ein kurzweiliger Aufenthalt.

Tolles Essen zu einem guten Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Bei so gutem Essen ist eine Reservierung sinnvoll. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben heute Abend ein sehr feines Essen hier genossen. Einen Zwiebelrostbraten medium mit Spätzle und Spinatknödel in Rahmsauce mit Pilzen. Alles geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich. Zur Abrundung gab es einen Haselnuss-Schnaps und einen Zirbenlikör...ein schöner Abend und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam.

Essen war in Ordnung, alles recht salzig. Service jedoch freundlich und es ging schnell.
