Restaurant Shelale in Bremen

Das Buffet durften wir schon schon vor 3 Jahren genießen. Nun waren wir wieder in Vegesack zu Besuch und sind sehr froh, dass es immer noch dieses reichhaltige, abwechslungsreiche und köstliche Angebot gibt - plus sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamem Service!

Zu empfehlen, günstige Lage neben Atlantik Hotel. Essen sehr gut.

Hier lohnt sich nicht nur ein Besuch! Alle sind sehr freundlich und es gibt super leckeres Essen ( ich durfte vom Buffet kosten). Rs gibt genug Auswahl, dass wohl jeder etwas finden wird, was Er oder Sie mag.

Außer Sarma, schmeckt die verschiedenen Vor- Hauptspeisen und Nachtisch sehr lecker. Es ist nur bisschen eng.

Wir waren seit langem mal wieder im Shelale zum Brunch. Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Essen war top, Service super und es lief alles ruhig und gesittet ab. Sehr angenehmes Publikum.

Wir haben einen Gutschein eingelöst. Es gab Essen vom Buffet ,welches sehr lecker war. Das Personal ist super freundlich, wir wurde nett empfangen und auch freundlich bedient. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Bestes Restaurant in Bremen Nord. Wir waren mit 8 Gästen dort und das Buffet war der Wahnsinn. Alles Frisch, heiß und heraussragend lecker. Anatolische Küche wird wunderbar präsentiert und meine Vegetarischen Freunde waren freudig überrascht über die Vielfalt. Es hat alles so wunderbar geschmeckt. Gute Auswahl , Lamm, Köfte, Hühnchen ohne Knochen u.v.m. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Besonderen Dank geht an das Personal, was sehr aufmerksam gewesen ist. Es ließ keine Wünsche offen. Danke an die charmante Chefin, die es möglich gemacht hat mit meinen Gästen einen unvergesslichen Abend genießen zu dürfen. Von uns allen gibt es so viele Sterne, wie am Himmel zu sehen sind .💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫

Ich durfte bereits viele Bremer Restaurants besuchen und kann daher mit gutem Gewissen sagen, dass das Shelale ein kleiner Geheimtipp ist - insbesondere, wenn man sonst nicht in Bremen Nord ist. Das Zutaten der einzelnen Speisen haben eine gute Qualität und es wird großer Wert auf Frische gelegt. Beim ersten Besuch hatten wir Gerichte aus der normalen Speisekarte und einige Wochen später testeten wir zusätzlich das Buffet. In beiden fällen waren wir durchweg zufrieden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das starke Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis - hier bekommt man Qualität und Menge, für einen sehr fairen Preis. Einziger Optimierungsvorschlag: Hinweise beim Abräumen der Teller („Wenn beim nächsten Mal etwas auf dem Teller bleibt, kommen 5,00 EUR Aufpreis dazu“) sollten etwas diskreter und sensibler ausgesprochen werden. Insgesamt kann ich das Shelale wärmstens empfehlen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich und auch ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu 2 dort essen. Wo wir reinkamen wurden wir nicht mal höflich begrüßt. Das Personal war überhaupt nicht interessiert, die suchen sich selber die Leute (Gruppen) aus nur zu den die nett sein wollen. Essen war okay aber auch geizig gehalten was die Menge angeht diesen Restaurant empfehle ich absolut nicht.

Das Ambiente war nicht besonders schön da es von innen aussah als wären wir in einem Verwaltungsraum. Das Servicepersonal hat scheinbar die Sympathie nur für bekannte Gäste, denn es kam uns vor als wären wir unwichtige Gäste. Das Essen war i.O. aber sehr wenig auf den Tellern. Ich bin eigentlich nicht satt geworden. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Ich kann daher nicht empfehlen dort essen zu gehen.

Einfach immer super! Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und der Service ist jedes Mal top. Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Klare Empfehlung!

When you arrive and have a reservation, you're shown to a table. After I asked for a menu to order drinks, I received one. I had reserved a buffet for three people, so we were allowed to choose our own food. I know what Anatolian cuisine is, and yes, I know it's often spicy. However, this should be clearly indicated, as not everyone likes spicy food. Furthermore, 90% of the food was cold, or only lukewarm. I find €30 for a Christmas buffet quite steep... because I couldn't eat much due to the spiciness, and I simply don't like my food cold. So, no thanks, not again.

We went there for the buffet for the first time today, three people... €30 for a Christmas buffet where all the food was cold, and some of it was really spicy. The selection was very limited. It was a real disappointment for us; we definitely won't be coming back. Even though the staff seemed very friendly.

We were there for work. The food at the buffet was only lukewarm, and I hadn't expected much from a Turkish restaurant. The service should work on being friendlier. The sound is what matters.

Very tasty, freshly prepared food. The starters are varied, and the meat was well-cooked and very fresh. We'd be happy to come back.

Even the senior citizen dishes are plentiful.

I've been here several times and always enjoy coming back. I especially recommend the buffet. Everything is fresh, hot, and delicious. It has a cozy atmosphere and extremely comfortable chairs.

Today, the two of us went to the buffet. All the dishes we tried were delicious and well-seasoned. We were particularly impressed by the serene atmosphere in the almost fully booked dining room. Hardworking chefs, both in front of and behind the scenes, refilled everything promptly and quietly. The very attentive waitstaff served all guests calmly and promptly. Not a single phone rang despite the many orders/reservations. We felt at home and would gladly return.

The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The decor was very dated. The chairs were stained and worn.

We had a wonderful evening, despite the late hour. The tables were set up again especially for us. Wonderful fruit platters were served. We'd love to come back here for dinner again.

The music is simply too loud; you can't have a peaceful conversation. It's just plain loud.

The manager – the blonde – ruined our day! That was definitely the last time we ate here! The blonde manager kept watching us the whole time, checking how much food we were putting on our plates. She sat behind us the whole time, seemed grumpy and annoyed. Her behavior made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, the food wasn't enough. The only person who served us in a friendly manner and smiled was the waitress.

The buffet is something extraordinary and unique in Bremen

Delicious food but a bit overpriced. Service was very friendly but a bit slow. I only had my drink after half an hour

After a delicious starter of fried eggplant and zucchini with yogurt, there was a very tasty chicken pan with vegetables and rice. The friendly waitress bought us Turkish tea. We were really lucky that Shelale is open on Advent Sunday evenings!

A beautiful restaurant, only some tables are a little bit rainy. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious, even if there is no pork. Meat, fish and greens lovers have a wide choice. The service gets one star less because there are employees whose knowledge of German is somewhat poor and therefore there are problems with understanding and the boss can practice smiling a little. But the friendliness is always there. The lunch menu is highly recommended -> appropriate prices for slightly smaller dishes. The buffet is also supposed to be great... somehow all of my friends make it there... but not me yet

We were there with 10 people for an Anatolian brunch. A great selection of hot and cold dishes, from starters to desserts. And everything is delicious 😊👍

There is an open buffet on Wednesdays and Fridays. Interesting and varied Anatolian cuisine. I think there is something for all tastes. There is soup, salad, cold dishes, warm dishes and of course dessert in the form of fruit, baklava, jelly, etc. We like to go there as a family. For our two small children (<10 years old) we only pay for the drinks. For us the price/performance ratio is right!

Very nice climate and very tasty food for every taste and nice service. Price performance was okay, especially on Wednesday and Friday buffets.

6 of us came on Friday and ate buffet... Everything I tried tasted very good 👍 Looking for a parking space was like a needle in a haystack... And next time, we'll order wide tables, but there's nothing to complain about about the food...! Conditions were very friendly, toilets were clean, we would love to come here again...!

Not a good experience 🫤 The staff didn't know just a little English? And the food was cold in the buffet at 8pm and they are open until 10.30pm, I told the chefs that the water bath was 85g 🫤 but everything above was only 40g 🫤🤒🙁 so sad smileys from here ☹️

The grill plate from the lunch menu is very tasty and recommended. There is one for this Salad, tzatziki, grits and bread.

We were on a long bike tour and discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling. We were there before the actual opening time and were still greeted very friendly. We were given great advice. The large clay oven in the restaurant is an absolute eye-catcher and creates a great atmosphere! The food was freshly prepared, came to the table hot and was incredibly tasty! The staff was very attentive, polite and quick! Our dog wasn't a problem either. We have already told the Hotel Weserblick in Berne about this great restaurant, so they can recommend it to their guests!

The hospitality was 1a. The food was hot, plentiful and super tasty. There were 18 of us and we had our food almost at the same time. The drinks were also well chilled. It was a great lunch all around and we also had a great place/table. The price/performance ratio is 100%.

There is a buffet on Fridays, where you can try out many delicacies. a very good idea to try out Turkish cuisine. The service is very good. Ambience is also good. Always happy When ordering the mocha, I would have liked to have been asked, as is usual, whether we wanted the mocha slightly sweet, medium sweet, or sweet. We were very satisfied

Last weekend we visited the evening buffet in your restaurant for the second time. Our first visit was disappointing from the start as the restaurant owner was extremely unfriendly and didn't even thank us for the tip. Unfortunately, our second visit was not spared from negative experiences. When we entered the buffet, as usual, we each took a plate for ourselves and two small plates for shared salads and side dishes. After just five minutes we were confronted by the manager of the restaurant who asked us why we had so many plates and if we could even eat all of it. He even pointed out to us that we would have to pay extra for uneaten plates. This inappropriate confrontation during the meal was extremely unpleasant and caused us to lose our appetite. Throughout our stay we noticed that the restaurant owner constantly made a disapproving face and even refilled plates at the buffet even though we were the only guests. It seemed like they were deliberately discriminating against us by pointing out that we had supposedly taken too many plates. The staff's aggressive response was completely inappropriate and deeply hurt us as customers. Not only did we feel humiliated, but we also felt like we were being presumed to be too poor to pay for food. The fact that we were even insulted by the restaurant staff at the end left us deeply disappointed. The moment when paying was particularly disappointing when the manager of the restaurant shouted loudly through the restaurant that we also had to pay for the uneaten plates. This behavior was not only embarrassing, but also extremely unprofessional and humiliating. The unfriendly atmosphere and disrespectful behavior of the staff greatly affected our overall experience at the restaurant. We have also heard similar experiences from several foreign friends who give us the impression that foreigners are preferred compared to German customers. This makes us think that there is some kind of xenophobia in the restaurant, even though the staff themselves are of foreign origin. Due to this extremely unpleasant experience and the disrespectful behavior of the staff, we will not be visiting your restaurant again. We also cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. We expect a restaurant to treat its guests with courtesy and respect, regardless of how many plates they take or how often they return.

We booked brunch today with 6 people and we were all very satisfied. The dishes were well presented and very tasty. Thank you for the great time!

War ein guter Abend, leckeres Essen und einer sehr netten und aufmerksamen Bedienung. Speisekarte ist umfangreich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Preise gehen in Ordnung. Das Essen war gut und lecker.

There were four of us there and some really tasty dishes came to the table. I would have liked more attention from the waitress, although she was very friendly.

Certainly not an exceptional Turkish restaurant, but still fresh food and friendly service. We had Adana Kebab, the minced meat was a little dry, definitely missing the spicy tomato salad. Otherwise the food was unremarkable, normal and so far okay. In terms of craftsmanship, we are used to top Turkish cuisine in Hamburg, but the restaurant is still a long way from that.

We were there on a Friday, Friday is unfortunately only a buffet, but you can't easily postpone a birthday. A la carte was not possible because there was a lack of staff. The drink order was taken twice because the employee didn't understand us correctly. Nevertheless, 2 drinks turned out wrong, the Tequila Sunrise became a tequila and my non-alcoholic Hefeweizen became an Efes Pilsen. The tequila went back and was replaced by a cocktail, and I disposed of the beer properly (drank it). The selection at the buffet was good, but the assignment of the signs to the dishes was not always entirely clear. Almost everything was available. Some guests were not able to properly put the cutlery back to take out the food, the spoons then lay in the bowl. Otherwise the buffet was very civilized. The dishes on offer were varied and appealing. Everything we ate was delicious. Before paying, our drinks were asked whether they were just recorded as a comparison or not in the system? No idea. If we come here again (50 minutes drive) then not on a buffet day because I would like to try something from the clay oven. I see an alternative in the Tendüre in Bremen near the main train station.

I had the feeling that I wasn't welcome. What does it look like to smile a little? I think it's ok for guests who have driven over 200km, right?

Been there for the third time and it was again very tasty. The selection at the buffet varies from time to time, as does the selection for vegetarians. Sometimes this is larger, sometimes smaller. However, since you can decide how much you want at the buffet, you'll never go home hungry. The selection of desserts is particularly good and tasty. Special specialties, sometimes sweeter and sometimes not, are the special highlight at the end. The service is also really great! The plates were always cleared promptly and we kept asking whether everything was OK or whether there were still any drinks missing. The third won't be the last time either. We'll definitely be back, no question.

Vor 4 Jahren kostete das Abendbuffet noch 15 Euro. Und nun 24,50 Euro. Was raucht Ihr in dem Laden eigentlich ? Xd da fahre ich lieber zum Chinesen für 24,90 Euro und das Buffet ist deutlich umfangreicher und schmeckt zudem noch deutlich besser.

Wir haben uns auf diesen Abend gefreut und haben uns für das Buffet entschieden. Es wurde sehr viel Angeboten, angefangen von der Suppe bis zur Süßspeise war alles dabei. Die Suppe war sehr lecker. Die Auswahl an Vorspeisen war ok, aber auch nichts besonderes. Leider waren die Hauptspeisen nicht so besonders. Vor Allem war alles lauwarm, teilweise sogar kalt :( Die Süßspeisen waren auch nicht lecker, teilweise war es schon abgestanden. Das Buffet kostet mittlerweile 22,50 Euro ohne ein Getränk. Viel zu teuer für das angebotene Buffet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut nicht mehr. Wir haben stolze 80 Euro für drei Personen bezahlt.

Wir waren angenehm überrascht und letztendlich sehr zufrieden 👍❗️❗️ Wir werden hier 100%ig wieder essen gehen 👍

Das Essen war toll. Wir hatten Buffet und einige auch a la Card. Es war sehr voll, deshalb musste man manchmal etwas auf die Getränke warten. War aber alles im Rahmen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ein angenehmes Lokal im Zentrum Vegesacks. Eine vielseitige, aber nicht überladen Speisekarte machte die Auswahl nicht einfach. Alle sechs Gäste am Tisch waren durchweg zufrieden mit ihrer Wahl. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und jederzeit aufmerksam. Ein perfektes Erlebnis.

Wir waren während der Mittagszeit dort. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, der Service war unaufdringlich aber schnell. Das Essen schmackhaft und nicht ein einerlei, wie leider so oft.

Uns hat es enorm gestört, das die junge Servicekraft gerannt ist, um draußen die Gäste zu bewirten. Ich habe sie angesprochen, ihr gesagt, das uns das stört, das sie rennt. Sie sagte, "Es müsse aber schnell gehen." Meine Äußerung war, das man in einem Restaurant nicht rennt. Zumal war sie immer mit leeren Händen unterwegs. Ihre Kollegin trug stapelweise das Geschirr und die Tabletts mit Gläser. Sonst sind wir sehr gerne Gast im Shelale.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Hier gibt es eher ältere traditionellere Gerichte wie Köfte usw.

Es ist alles sehr lecker. Wir waren wieder mal zum Mittagstisch da. Gute Auswahl, schnelle Bedienung, so dass es auch mit begrenzter Zeit funktioniert.

Waren zum Brunchen dort, hat uns gut gefallen.

Sehr leckeres Essen in warmer und freundlicher Umgebung, zu angemessenen Preisen.

Buffet war super, Service Personal wirkte etwas überfordert mit den Teller abholen und den Getränkebestellungen.

Essen war sehr lecker aber die Portionen etwas knapp für den aufgerufenen Preis.

Mittagstisch dort mit 4 Personen gegessen, Essen war ok, Bedienung vermittelte leider nicht gerade das Gefühl "der Kunde ist König", sondern eher, "freu dich, dass du hier essen darfst". Schade!

Waren heute Abend hier essen. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, da wir auch 2 mal im Jahr in der Türkei sind und das Essen dort sehr mögen. Leider trafen unsere Erwartungen nicht zu. Das Buffet war zwar sauber aufgebaut aber das Essen war noch nicht einmal lauwarm. Wirklich sehr schade. Die sonst in den Rezessionen erwähnten Spezialitäten haben wir nicht gefunden. Wir werden hier leider keinen neuen Versuch machen.

Das Mittwoch-Buffet kann ich sehr empfehlen. Superlecker! Das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam.
