Kervan Restaurant in Bremen

Leider sehr unfreundlich und nicht serviceorientiert. Gegessen habe ich dort nicht.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im Kervan Restaurant. Besonders die Bedienung durch Sahmet hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Wir kommen wieder! :)

Ich esse hier schon seit Jahren, hier bekomme ich den besten Döner in Bremen. Aber heute war ich doch geschockt: 14,95 EUR für einen Dönerteller, mit Selbstbedienung, damit ist die Schmerzgrenze für mich überschritten! Offenbar sehen das viele Leute so, denn am frühen Nachmittag war das Lokal fast leer. Update Juni 2026: Mittlerweile kostet der Dönerteller 17,95 EUR, eindeutig zu viel für ein Lokal mit Selbstbedienung und mit mäßiger Aufenthaltsqualität. Obwohl das Essen noch sehr gut ist, habe ich einen Stern abgezogen. 3 Sterne für den Service, weil es Selbstbedienung ist und mehr Sterne unfair gegenüber den Restaurants mit Bedienung wären. 3 Sterne für das Ambiente, denn es ist dort meistens etwas unruhig durch das ständige Kommen und Gehen am Tresen. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, aber etwas ungemütlich. Es gibt Restaurants mit Tischdecken und einem Blümchen auf dem Tisch, da kann man dann 4 oder 5 Sterne vergeben.

Schlechte Suppe, schlechter Kebab. Verschwendung einer guten Lage.

Das Dönerbrötchen war ziemlich durchschnittlich. Das Sandwich schmeckte auch nicht besonders gut, und die Fleischmenge war ebenfalls durchschnittlich. Es hatte keinen besonderen Geschmack. Anstatt reichlich Fleisch war es voll mit Kohl und Salat. Insgesamt war es ziemlich gewöhnlich. Mir hat das Dönerbrötchen insgesamt nicht besonders geschmeckt. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war zwar recht nett, aber der Kebab war ziemlich durchschnittlich, und ich war insgesamt nicht sehr zufrieden mit dem Restaurant.

Der Döner war lecker, aber es war sehr wenig Soße darauf. Der Service war leider mangelhaft.

Es kostet einfach so einen 5er zu viel. Sonst alles wirklich top und gerade das Fleisch ist wirklich grandiosn

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung freundlich.

Wir suchten anlässlich des Feiertags Christi Himmelfahrt nach einem geöffneten Lokal, um Döner Kebab zu essen. Das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal ist eine Schande; der Besitzer hingegen ist ein Paradebeispiel für absolute Unprofessionalität. Dieser Mann am Bestelltresen verweigerte uns die Benutzung der Toilette, obwohl wir Gäste waren. Seine unbehaglichen Blicke, als wir nach Servietten oder Strohhalmen fragten, waren unerträglich. Wir sind schon in Dutzenden von Ländern und Städten gewesen und haben noch nie einen so unprofessionellen und unhöflichen Geschäftsinhaber gegenüber Touristen erlebt. Wenn Sie Ihr Geld nicht verschwenden und sich nicht blamieren wollen, meiden Sie diesen Laden lieber.

Wir hatten 2 Döner bestellt. Leider waren bei beiden Döner das Brot sehr sehr weich, als ob es nur kurz in der Micro aufgewärmt wurde. Recht kleine Döner. Fleisch und soße waren lecker.

Köstlicher türkischer Kaffee, aber ich konnte nur einen halben Schluck nehmen, da drei Viertel der Tasse mit Kaffeesatz bedeckt waren ☕️ Guter Adana-Kebab und Gulasch, aber meiner Meinung nach ist der Preis dafür nicht gerechtfertigt 🌯

Bestes Restaurant Ganz Bremen Alle Freundlich und sehr sauber

XL-Döner-Kebab-Sandwich 11 €, Uludağ-Limonade (Dose) 3,50 €, Döner-Kebab-Box 10 €. Insgesamt ein ordentliches Lokal, das Essen ist lecker und die Preise sind angemessen.

Wir sind während unserer Bremenreise zufällig auf dieses Lokal gestoßen und haben dort gegessen. Die Auswahl an Speisen war gut. Die Angestellten waren Türken, sodass wir uns gut mit ihnen unterhalten konnten. Mich hat nur gestört, dass sie 4 Euro für eine kleine Tasse Tee verlangten. Ich habe schon in so vielen Städten gegessen. In den meisten Lokalen gibt es Tee kostenlos, sollten da nicht 1-2 Euro angemessen sein? Ansonsten gab es aber nichts zu beanstanden.

Sehr leckere Pizza. Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis, alles frisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nicht der beste Dönerladen in Bremen, doppelt so teuer wie andere Dönerläden in der Stadt. Drinnen war es kalt, ich musste mit Mantel sitzen.

Ich habe 34,50 € für zwei Döner-Wraps, zwei Ayran und eine Linsensuppe bezahlt, was mir angesichts des Geschmacks und des Services etwas zu teuer ist. Es hat zwar seinen Zweck erfüllt, aber wegen der Preise werde ich nicht wiederkommen.

Das Personal ist freundlich, das Ambiente angenehm, die Musik ruhig. Was das Essen angeht, stimme ich den vorherigen Bewertungen vollkommen zu: essbar, aber nichts Besonderes. Es schmeckte nach nichts.

Das Restaurant Kervan bietet köstliche und reichhaltige Küche mit ansprechend angerichteten Gerichten und großzügigen Portionen. Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und sorgt für ein angenehmes Erlebnis. Die Atmosphäre ist einladend und warm – ideal, um Zeit mit Familie oder Freunden zu verbringen.

Das Essen ist ordentlich und schmackhaft, aber nichts Besonderes, was man nicht auch in anderen ähnlichen Restaurants der Stadt findet. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, kann aber bei großem Andrang recht laut werden. Eine gute Wahl für alle, die schnell und schmackhaft türkisch essen möchten – man sollte aber keine allzu hohen Erwartungen haben.

Wer in Bremen einen leckeren Döner Kebab essen möchte, sollte ihn probieren.

Gut, aber für die Portionen etwas teuer.

Eines der wenigen Restaurants in Bremen. Qualität und Geschmack sind durchschnittlich. Tee wird nach dem Essen serviert. Die Aromen sind weit entfernt von denen in der Türkei, aber für ausländische Verhältnisse ist es preiswert.

Sehr authentisch, genau so „freundlich“ wie in der Türkei

Der normale Kebab war nichts Besonderes; das Fleisch wirkte wie Fertigprodukt und enthielt zwei große Knorpelstücke. Das Fladenbrot/die Tortilla hingegen war interessant, mit einem angenehmen Weizengeschmack. Essbar, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches.

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine negativen Bewertungen über Lokale, selbst wenn mir das Essen nicht geschmeckt hat. Ich war in einem Restaurant, das ich für ein türkisches hielt, und geriet dort wegen der unfreundlichen Kassiererin in Streit. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, aber die Bedienung war weder freundlich noch zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Leider sehr sehr teuer dort.... Schade, ansonsten ist das Ambiente dort sehr ansprechend. Meine Dönerbox zum mitnehmen kaufe ich mir dann lieber für deutlich weniger anderorts. Da bekomme ich sie auch ohne Diskussion nach meinen Wünschen zubereitet..

Nothing about this restaurant is right. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat there. Aside from the owner's attitude, who's only in it for the money, the bill doesn't list what you ordered, just the total price. We paid €57 for three kebabs and drinks; they really know how to rip people off.

A little extra sauce costs €2 extra. The counter is really quite uncoordinated. The food tastes good.

If you like classic, delicious, and traditional kebabs, you can't miss this restaurant. The excellent ambiance is at least as pleasing to the eye as the kebab is to the palate. Always worth a visit!

The kebab tasted absolutely fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, for €9.50, the bread was extremely small, more like a burger bun, and the contents were accordingly quite limited. The taste was great, but unfortunately, the value for money wasn't quite right.

We tried the meat doner and soup, it was very good.

We didn't like any of the dishes we tried. The döner kebab was dry and greasy, and while I think making the pilaf poorly is a success, it was just awful in our opinion. The lentil soup, chicken soup, and tripe soup were also flavorless.

We went there, and the service was terrible. The doner kebabs were much too small for the price. Mine only served sauce. It was terrible; I absolutely cannot recommend it.

Nice place, everything very clean. I only have one criticism! The prices are steep. Charging €17.95 for a kebab plate, as a snack(!), is outrageous to me. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. A tip: It does make a difference whether a guest eats in or takes the food to go. At least then the price should be adjusted. Think about the tax!

Overpriced, an XL doner kebab is smaller than regular doner kebabs elsewhere, with hardly any meat, just coleslaw. I also got old meat that had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. The bread was tough, and you end up with a huge chunk of dry bread left over. Most disappointing doner kebab of my life.

I insisted that I wanted the original lahmacun, like in Turkey. They asked if we could put döner kebab inside the lahmacun. I said no, I wanted the regular lahmacun. They spread tomato sauce on the yufka and served it with an antin kuntin cut into it. And they charged me seven euros for this piece of yufka. It was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Europe. The owner and staff were also very indifferent.

We ate a delicious chicken kebab here and drank a Coke Zero with it. We paid a total of €22.

Order: lentil soup, lahmacun, spinach börek, Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, and halka tatli. It was absolutely excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Go there with your eyes closed, honestly.

First of all, let them know that they are tradesmen. Last time I went there was a middle-aged master. I searched online and regretted it. Shame on me, as if I wanted free food. The only thing I asked was whether they do Antakya Hatay style. He humiliated me.

Today was my first time in Bremen and I wanted to eat something nice. It's the most disgraceful restaurant not only in Germany, but in Europe. I would never recommend it. We ordered steak döner and chicken shish kebab. We liked both. They charged 26 euros. I didn't pay attention to the prices; I paid by card. Some reviews say they charge additional fees for cards. I don't know if they charged us. If they did, they should have warned us.

Definitely the most disappointing dürüm I've had in Germany so far. 12,50 for a roll that's 90% vegetables and so little meat. Would NOT recommend.

Delicious food. Wide variety. Fantastic soups. Doner meat is the best. Music is very nice inside.

Although the food items were slightly expensive, they most definitely were worth the price, as both the quality and quantity was excellent. Also, the meat was clean, juicy, and delicious! The staff were happy to serve us, and it’s located conveniently near the centre, perfect for a quick bite or a fulfilling lunch.

This is probably the fifth place I've eaten döner in Germany, but this is the most delicious.

Moved here from Berlin and I am used to good Kebab, which is really hard to find in Bremen. Because most places are crap. This one is definitely an exception: really good quality Kebab, the ingredients themself, the craft of preparation, the overall taste experience. This was a what a good Kebab should look and taste like!

The last time I ate this kind of a delicious döner was in Hatay - Türkiye 🇹🇷 They heats up the döner wrap before they serve and this makes it even better

I have eaten cheaper kebabs, döner than Kervan’s in Germany but this one was the worst kebab. Bad sauce and it wasnt really tasty. Dont go!

The prices are out of this world, and the service is extremely rude, especially the little man. NEVER AGAIN!! I definitely don't recommend it!!

I haven't had such a disappointing experience in a Turkish restaurant in a long time. First, the soup I ordered was extremely salty – inedible, so I had to return it. The second soup was completely overpowering with the taste of tomato paste. To give it another chance, I bought a filled börek – it cost €6.95. A small tea in a mini glass, which is usually offered free with meals in Turkish restaurants, cost another €2. The entrance advertised air conditioning – but it was sweltering inside. When I asked about it, they simply said the air conditioning needed to be cleaned and sometimes worked, sometimes not. A very unprofessional response. Overall, the food was disappointing, the service was not customer-oriented, and the prices were completely exorbitant for what was offered. You should only cook if you can – and most importantly, taste it before you serve it! Unfortunately, I can't recommend the place.

We were fooled by the high Google rating and decided to go, but the home-cooked meal was stale and tasteless. The portion was also small. Moreover, they report critical reviews to Google as "slander" and have them removed, which is why their rating is high. I do not recommend it. Note: I have added the receipt of the food as proof that I ate here. If you still report my review as "slander" despite this, it shows how bad a business you are. Instead of reporting bad reviews as "slander", think about how to fix yourself.

The food and service is great. But the atmosphere is very risky. A completely drunk guy out of nowhere entered and rushed towards us for begging. The staff removed him but it appeared that he enters there regularly. I would not go there with my child. But for boys to have a quick snack, it’s good

We would like to thank the Kervan restaurant staff. For their friendly and tolerant service approach. The food is 10 out of 5 stars. Recommended.

Very nice service, easy communication with tourists

As a tourist, I managed to get along with the staff despite my poor English. The chicken rollo for 10.95 would have been enough for two dinners, I ate half. It was huge and delicious, and when I ate it on my plate I got extra garlic sauce on the side. I got free aluminum foil from the staff in which I could wrap half of the kebab. Plates could be left on the tables. Access to an elegant bathroom, even for the disabled.

The durum kebab was average but the service was good and the place is clean. They made us pay extra for kebab mayo even though we didn't get any.

The doner kebab tasted very good, and the salads and doner kebab plates also looked very good. The restaurant is also very close to the market square and the Schnoor district, which is the heart of Bremen. Highly recommended!

How can the Turkish Germans make a Donner Kebab taste so good? Easily the best kebab I have ever tasted. Unlike the UK, no grease, no shoe leather pitta in sight and proper donner meat. The Donner wrap I had was served in a crispy toasted wrap and was stuffed with meat and salad with the sauces on the side. Lovely friendly staff in a lovely friendly city.

Bad service and quality not recommended, I ordered a chicken dürum but it came with hardly any meat, not even 1gram of meat. It cost me €10 and I didn't even get my money back or offer an improvement. n

The food is of the best quality, beautifully presented, very tasty. The place is very clean. A must to have on hand or eat on site.
