Restaurant See Gourmet in Hagnau am Bodensee

This could be described as a small Family owned boutique hotel /restaurant. Rooms were comfortable and quiet despite a busy main road very close by.Restaurant food quality was excellent and attention to service and requests were delightfully attended to by Carolin and her husband. Excellent location for Lake Constance tourism area. Close car parking was limited. My only downside was staying for two nights, as I happily could have stayed much longer.I can thoroughly and genuinely recommend this hotel for and enjoyable holiday and gourmet dining..

Uitgebreide kaart , goed eten, ontspannen sfeer, vriendelijke gastheer die voor een iedere gast aandacht heeft. Komen er zeker een keer terug.

Essen enttäuschend und fast kalt. Für die Qualität eindeutig zu teuer. Lokal ansonsten sauber, nett und gemütlich, WC sauber. Nette Bedienung

Wir bedanken uns nochmals für das ausgezeichnete Buffet. Unsere Gäste äusserten sich alle sehr positiv. Geschmacklich sehr gut und wunderbar angerichtet. Alles perfekt und nur wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Wir waren gestern Gäste oben genannter Hochzeitsfeier und waren überwältigt. Die Vorspeisen (von unterschiedlichem Räucherfisch bis hin über Roast Beef) waren eine so köstlich wie die andere und ließen keine Wünsche offen. Über das gab es die passenden Dressings, Chutneys und unterschiedliche Salate, selbst Zucchinischiffchen und Tomate/Mozzarella - da ist wirklich in jeder Ernährungsart an alle gedacht. Frisches Ciabatta und Oliven-Baguette gehörten ebenfalls dazu. Alles war allein schon fürs Auge sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Zum Hauptgang war man dann eigentlich schon von den Vorspeisen satt ... aber es roch so lecker und war ebenso für Flexitarier, Vegetarier oder Veganer geeignet. Wir haben von allem etwas gekostet und jedes einzelne war lecker. Der Kalbsrücken war so zart und die Soße dazu sehr fein. Des weiteren gab es ein super leckeres Zanderfilet in einer tollen Soße oder ein rotes Thai-Curry mit Reis. Die Gemüsemischungen waren auch suuuper lecker (ich weiß, ich wiederhole mich) Der Abschluss bestand aus einem Nachtischbuffet mit Creme brûlée, Schoko-Mousse und einem riesigen, phantastisch angerichtetem Obstteller, der an Vielfältigkeit nicht zu übertreffen war. Auch eine Käseplatte mit unterschiedlich sehr sorgfältig ausgewählten und leckeren Käsesorten, einschließlich Weintrauben, Ciabatta und Olivenbaguette luden zum Zugreifen ein. Also alles uneingeschränkt ein Gaumenschmaus! Heute wird gefastet ;-) , Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend, unkompliziert und humorvoll und gab einem das Gefühl, sich schon länger zu kennen.

Hier stimmt noch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Dazu leckeres Essen und on top einen freundlichen Chef. Lediglich die Parkplatzsuche ist etwas müßig.

I visit this restaurant on my business trip at Hagnau. It was recommended by my friends. Unfortunately we came to almost full restaurant and we wait for meals for very long time. Meal was delishious. Burger, beef meet , lamb meet also tasty, If there was less people I can give five. summary: Radler 4,20€ Salat 4,90€ Lamb 16,50€ recommend

At first glance, when you arrive at hotel, near this huge trafic road, you could think you made a mistake in choosing it. Once arrived in, hotel is cosy, decoration is sympathic, dining area is like an old boat dining room, all wooden. Rooms we had are spacefull, correctly soundproofed, even on road side, so you can rest really well. Staff is helpful and breakfasts are really furnished for this rating type hotel. there is an included wifi access via hotel's pads. So you want to go further and try the restaurant, and then you are fully convinced. The Top specialist of beef Thomas will help you choose its best realisations and will let you have one of best dinner in Hagnau Town. Regarding hotel, if you come by car, you will some time have difficulties to find parking places in hotel's reserved area because hotel guest think they all have cadillacs and are alone. We had read about the restaurant and wanted to try the dry aged beef. We asked the owner about the choices and got good advice (we shared a t-bone steak). We added 2 appetisers - which were excellent (fish, not beef). We chose a local wine which was good too. And then we just walked up the stairs to our hotel room ... which was not as good as the restaurant, but ok.
