Seeblick in Hagnau am Bodensee

We stayed at Lake Constance for 6 days at Seeblick with our daughter and our little poodle lady. The room was really great and well furnished. A fantastic shower in the bathroom and a direct view of the lake from the balcony. A really great breakfast where we didn't miss anything. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. There was also regular nice small talk with the operators. Here too, real friendliness without any ifs and buts. At this point we would like to say a big thank you for this great holiday. We will certainly travel from the far north to Lake Constance again for the Gasthaus Seeblick. The village of Hagnau is perfectly located as a starting point for day tours and offers a special charm for walks along Lake Constance, good food, good wine and pure relaxation. In any case, we felt very comfortable and also visited the local winegrowers' association to take a bottle or two of wine home with us. Special thanks also go to Ms. Heinzelmann, who resolved a booking conflict caused by us quickly, easily and professionally, so that our vacation could become what it was. 6 really wonderful days on and around Lake Constance with perfect accommodation at the Gasthaus Seeblick. Finally, we thought it was really great that four-legged friends are also very welcome here. This is by no means possible everywhere and is certainly not a given. The rooms are definitely big enough so that every dog ​​can find their place here without other guests feeling bothered... Greetings and see you soon in Hagnau.

Kurz entschlossen und für Mittagstisch schon fast zu spät habe ich mit meiner Familie 3Personen bei bestem Kaiserwetter auf der wundervollen am See gelegen Terrasse wunderbares Essen bekommen. Der Service war top und trotzdem wir die letzten Mittags Gäste waren gab es hinterher noch 3 leckere Dessert um Espresso. So sollte Gastronomie praktiziert werden und dann zahlt man auch gerne den Angemessenen Preis für ein sehr gutes Handwerk ! Wir werden bei nächster Gelegenheit bestimmt wieder kommen. On the spur of the moment and almost too late for lunch, I and my family of three had wonderful food in the best weather on the wonderful terrace by the lake. The service was top and even though we were the last lunch guests, there were still 3 delicious desserts with espresso afterwards. This is how gastronomy should be practiced and then you are happy to pay the appropriate price for a very good craft! We will definitely come back at the next opportunity. Just to have something to drink, you get the feeling that this is not what you want, after all, you are a restaurant. You can only stay in this case for 30 minutes! Of course we would understand if the restaurant was very full and the tables were in demand. But that wasn't the case, there were at least 10 tables free. There was no rush of other guests. Of course, in this case we would have cleared the table. Unfortunately, this visit was rather disappointing.

Once again we had ten wonderful days at the Hotel Seeblick in Hagnau. The room was fantastic as always, clean and just fantastically beautiful. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. There is everything your heart desires. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and tastes excellent. The employees are extremely friendly and very service-oriented. Real and not fake. Even in times of great stress, always have a smile on your face. The host, Ms. Heinzelmann, is a host through and through. It's in her blood. You feel like you're coming home. Thank you for this unforgettable vacation, in which the Seeblick team played a key role. Until next year.

Terrible, I'd rather go to McDonald's. Specially reserved with the hope of a terrace space. At the end we were assigned some corner with a cheesy dog ​​smell at the neighboring table. Then left before ordering. Definitely not for these prices and this second-class service!

Superb hotel with exceptional views of the lake. The staff is very professional and kind. We were very well received. The breakfast buffet is fabulous. The very pretty room with a small terrace overlooking the lake. We have adored.

Maximum profit in a small area. Reservations do not apply to the terrace, as everyone will be seated as soon as something is available. Inside has the chic of an ice cream parlor in the 80s. Food is really good for Hagnau, but the behavior is annoying. Don't go there anymore.

Relatively expensive and the portion is not generous. The Hagnauer wine was great and inexpensive. There was tension in the service team and twice something was forgotten. The fantastic view of the lake is of little use.

What a wonderful evening with a beautiful view of the Bodensee. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone’s food was delicious and the breeze coming off of the lake was lovely. My Kalbsfilet "Züricher Art" was perfect with the meat being tender and the sauce was delicious. Everyone that took care of us had warm and friendly. It does help to make a reservation for dinner if you would like to be seated on the patio.

Maximum profit in a small area. Food is good in comparison in Hagnau. Lakeside terrace nice, but packed with guests. Moderate ice cream parlor interior. You make a reservation days in advance, but you can't get on the terrace because the reservation is only valid for inside. No, thank you, not again.

Alles jedoch kein Grund, um von so nem dahergelaufenen Kellner dumm angemacht zu werden. Selbst die Entschuldigung unsererseits führte nicht zur Deeskalation, sondern der unverschämten Aufforderung, zügig auszutrinken und dann das Lokal zu verlassen. Pfui ! Was für eine Servicewüste.

Very friendly and courteous service. The food was served surprisingly quickly. Both fish with perfectly cooked cauliflower and peas and meatloaf with chanterelles and dark sauce were deliciously prepared. We'd love to come back.

Basically a nice location, the seats at the window front in the restaurant are nice. All the other tables were squeezed together much too tightly and small, unfortunately we got a table in the far corner. The ambience corresponds more to a somewhat upscale bistro and not to a restaurant that has the requirements of upscale gastronomy. Starters were really good, main courses don't come close to the starters, both in terms of appearance and taste. During the stay, the staff was attentive and friendly. Since we didn't feel comfortable at this place, we "just" rounded up the total amount. We don't think it's generally necessary to tip 10%. That's exactly what we got from the very nice waitress beforehand, and even a violent insult afterwards. Absolutely no go!!! Never come here again!

Prices are not cheap, in fact I’d now say it’s becoming a rather expansive place to eat, hence 4 not 5 stars. But you can guarantee quality every time

Respect is more important than a beautiful lake view and average food. The lake view is really wonderful, that's why four stars here. I've been to the restaurant twice and I won't go there a third time. The first time we had dinner with the whole family. My impression was: beautiful restaurant, but very cramped, the food was rather average, but very overpriced. But I thought, you just have to pay for the beautiful view. As a family with two children, we were put in a corner. I didn't think that was bad. The children were quiet and occupied themselves with drawing and reading books while they waited. Despite the fake friendliness, it was clear that families were not part of the audience. My second visit was accidental: my wife had ordered take-out and mixed up the restaurant. When I asked politely in the restaurant, the waiter placed his arm on my shoulder in a very aggressive and completely disrespectful manner and escorted me out as if I were an idiot. I can only recommend this restaurant to people who like superficial glamour. There are many other nice restaurants on Lake Constance with beautiful views, good food and friendly people.

Because of the good reviews, we had dinner at Seeblick last night and I can't share the good reviews regarding the food. We had baked pike perch with potato and cucumber salad and fish fillet with almond butter and potatoes. Regarding the pike perch: you could clearly tell that the fish wasn't freshly breaded but had been pre-breaded for a long time. The breading was far too thick and the fish had been in the pan for far too long and was therefore dry and only very lightly seasoned. The potato salad was too sour. Regarding the fish fillet: here too the fish was fried for far too long so that it was dry, and here too the seasoning was very weak. The service was good and friendly.

Spent a few days in a very nice apartment there. There was a delicious breakfast in the restaurant right by the lake. We really liked the wonderful location of the house and the warm, family atmosphere. Thank you for the great time and we will come again.

Food was very tasty, the staff was very friendly. The star was deducted because of the very bad air in the restaurant. You need ventilation or opening a window every now and then. The menu was very small and prices were high.

Hier sind wir zwar freundlicher behandelt worden als im HD-Café, aber um kurz nach 21 Uhr hören zu müssen, dass nichts mehr angeboten werden kann - und das bei einer Öffnungszeit bis 22 Uhr - ist auch in der Wintersaison traurig.

Ich war heute auf der Durchreise zufällig zu Gast und habe mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war herzlich und gastfreundlich und das Essen war wirklich perfekt. Ein großes Lob meinerseits. Was die Lage angeht, wäre ich sehr gerne länger geblieben. Direkt am See gelegen mit einer traumhaft schönen Ausicht. Ich werde definitiv wieder einmal vorbeischauen.

Bester Ort um den Sonnenuntergang am Bodensee zu genießen. Essen ist ... naja, für die aufgerufenen Preise nicht passend. Nicht schlecht - jedoch zu teuer für die angebotenen Speisen. Auch die Getränkepreise sind im oberen Level. Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Kamen zu viert um 14.25h (Küche schliesst um 14.30h). Bekamen trotzdem noch super feine Salate (mit Fisch). Sehr gutes Essen, sehr nette Bedienung, wunderschöne Terrasse.

Unglaublich netter zuvorkommender Service, und nettes Ambiente, jedoch ist es sehr schade, dass es nicht mehr vegetarische Auswahl gibt.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und es kam auch sehr schnell an den Tisch. Die Bedienungen waren sehr höflich. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend hier. Nur zu empfehlen!

Absoluter Reinfall! Aussicht ist leider das einzige Positive was das Restaurant zu bieten hat. Das Essen entspricht leider nicht dem Preissegment. Es bewirbt sich selbst mit Top-Restaurant, aber die Bezeichnung müsste wohl eher Flop-Restaurant heissen. Das Fleisch war zäh, die Sosse fad und geschmacklich ungeniessbar. Ach ja.. die Riesengarnelen mit Knoblauch.. ähmmmm .. wo war der Knoblauch nochmal? Aber die Krönung war dann noch der Restaurantleiter, der mit seiner arroganten Art absolut kritikunfähig war und sein Mitarbeiter ein unterirdisches Verhalten an den Tag legte.

Dans ce restaurant ça ne sert à rien de réserver! Arrivés lundi 17 juillet 2023 à 19h30 au Seeblick, nous attendons à l’endroit où un panneau nous demande de le faire. Un couple attend devant nous. Une serveuse se présente et l’homme au téléphone qui bloque l’entrée lui dit qu’on lui a demandé d’attendre là une demi-heure. L’employée lui indique alors une table sur la terrasse et les invite à entrer. Elle se tourne ensuite vers nous et nous lui disons que nous avons réservé une table pour 19:30. Elle nous répond qu’il nous faudra attendre une demi-heure ou nous installer dedans. Elle a donc purement et simplement reporté sur nous la non-réservation du couple qui nous précédait et n’avait pas réservé. Et comme nous protestons, elle a le culot de nous dire (agressivement) que les places en terrasse ne donnent pas lieu à une réservation. Le restaurant s’appelant Seeblick (de la terrasse) et les clients précédents n’ayant pas réservé, de qui se moque-t-on? Du jamais vu en ce qui nous concerne!

Very pleasant dinner on the terrace, basically just over water. Service is good and so is the food. Very popular but as most Germans eat very early this is not a problem if you show up at a more classical time. Would recommend.
