Sehr zuvorkommender Service sehr freundlich und schnell wir kommen gerne wieder. Auch wenn wir nicht direkt am Steg essen konnten war die Lokalität sehr schön. Der Steg ist nur für Hotelgäste

Good restaurant located directly on Lake Constance. The food is delicious, and the seating on the jetty is great. We'll be back.

We only recently discovered this restaurant and have been there almost every day since. It's very elegantly decorated, located right on the lake, and has a jetty with a few tables – pure lake view, so to speak! The menu is pleasingly small, and on some weekdays, there's also a daily special. We've had the risotto, the ox cheeks, the sea bass, the roast beef, and the burger, ... and everything was always deliciously prepared, lovingly presented, and tasted excellent. The waiters are also extremely friendly and attentive, and you get the impression that the entire team works very harmoniously with one another. As we learned, the chef is a Michelin-starred chef, which isn't surprising. It's a pleasure to be a guest here because everything is harmonious and the food is excellent. We both highly recommend it, and many thanks again to the entire team!

Ordered a Smash Burger without bacon (pork). The burger came with bacon, of course. I saw it right away and told the waiter. He said there was no bacon in it. I showed it to him. He confirmed it and took it with him. He came back two minutes later with the same burger without the bacon strips. The kitchen simply removed the bacon. I was totally shocked when he served me that burger. I then asked if it was the same burger. He immediately asked, "Do you want a new one?" I said I don't eat pork and of course I want a new one. This is absolutely unacceptable, this behavior. The burger costs about €26, and then this kind of behavior. Having lost my trust in the chef, I changed my order and got a fish one. You can't go wrong with that. For such an upscale restaurant with high-priced food, this is unacceptable. I paid over €100 for 2 adults + 2 kids, so you expect a corresponding service.

For about 15 years, we've been coming here for lunch with 12-15 people on the Sunday after Ascension Day. It's always a highlight of our family weekend on Lake Constance. Thank you for the great service, the delicious food, and the wonderful atmosphere. We'll be back again and again. Bernd Schmidt

Great service, very friendly, competent, and fast. It gets crowded quickly after 6:30 p.m., so it's best to arrive early.

The "Fish Pot" is an experience I highly recommend to every guest. From the service to the meal, I call it an experience. My photo shows my plate, which I scooped from the wonderful pot. Take your time, enjoy the terrace/restaurant, and let time stand still for a while. Thank you!

The view of the lake: Awesome! But: "Fischknusperle" (fish fingers with a little fish and a lot of breading, plus potato salad) for €25? A burger with fries and no salad for €25! I think that's too expensive! They used to serve homemade food at reasonable prices. Now it's mostly frozen food 🤷‍♀️

We celebrated our wedding with 15 people in this beautiful setting. Everything went perfectly; the service was, as always, very attentive and friendly. A huge compliment also to the kitchen. Our friends from Munich were so thrilled with the amazing food. Everything was fresh and prepared with love. And the value for money was also excellent! A big thank you to the Heinzelmann family and the staff. We were more than satisfied and would recommend this restaurant at any time.

Last night we visited the Seeblick restaurant on Lake Constance. Unfortunately, I have to give it a bad review because the food didn't meet our expectations. Regarding our food: We had the salmon, which was tasteless and dry. The asparagus was completely overcooked and unseasoned. We don't even need to start on the smashed burgers. Despite all the problems, we had very friendly and entertaining service. I'd also like to add that we brought home a homemade cake. Since we were celebrating a small birthday, we had to pay a special €10 charge so they could bring us four small plates, four small forks, and a cake server. Unfortunately, I have to give it only 2 stars overall, because for the price you pay, it's practically not worth it. I wouldn't recommend it!

The display offering sour lentils lured us onto the terrace, where we received a very warm welcome. The view of the lake is simply magnificent, and the service was outstanding – thank you so much, T(h)eo! The menu also offered many other appealing dishes; we stuck with the lentils and were not disappointed.

The set menu cost nearly €100 per person, something we only discovered when the bill arrived. For that price, we expected exceptional food and transparent service — unfortunately, neither was delivered. When it came to wine, we were offered only the most expensive bottle, with no alternative options or price range provided. It felt like deliberate upselling. As a group of friends and couples who are not German speakers, we couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being taken advantage of. To make matters worse, a forced tip was added to the bill without our agreement, and the manager showed no understanding or flexibility when we raised our concerns. Most importantly, there was no way the food served justified the nearly €100 menu price. The quality and presentation simply didn’t match what you would expect from such an expensive meal. This experience left us feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I would not return, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to others — especially international visitors. Clear communication, fair pricing, and respect for guests are the bare minimum, and sadly, they were lacking here.

Additionally, a forced tip was automatically added without prior notice or explanation. In Germany tipping is voluntary and customary, usually around 5-10% of the bill if you’re happy with the service and NOT automatically set by the restaurant. When we raised these concerns, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful. The restaurant also did not have any means to register customer complaints. Sorry, but I will not be coming back, and I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for tourists. Transparency, fair pricing, and respectful customer care are essential but were sadly lacking here. It was a total scam, and we felt cheated, particularly because we were a large group of non-German speakers who seemed to be deliberately taken advantage of.

Went there on a recommendation. The food was very good, and the staff was super friendly. The only downside was the poor parking. You should take this into account when making a reservation and allow extra travel time.

We spent 3 wonderful days in the Seeblick Apartment. Incredibly friendly!!! Very nice location right on the lake. Very clean and modernly furnished apartment. Beds and pillows comfortable. Fully equipped. Lake view. Lawn by the lake. A dream! Also the restaurant and breakfast: warmth and taste great! Thank you! Also on the second visit again sooo happy with the hospitality, the good breakfast on the terrace and the really good food in the evening!

I will briefly tell what happened so that I can recommend a different approach from the one used. We had lunch in this restaurant having heard a good reputation around, from the beginning of our arrival we were treated excellently, flawless service and obsessive attention, perhaps in some ways even exaggerated and false (false modesty on the part of the waiter who served us, he should be the head waiter). Good food and nice environment but in all of this when we arrived at the end of the lunch and when we asked to pay, before even having the receipt the waiter made the joke "the tip is extra", now I'll explain this detail. 1 In a restaurant like this one doesn't expect the tip issue to be brought up by the staff with jokes that allude to an economic return. 2 When we arrived at the actual moment in which the head waiter took the cash, we decided to leave a 5 euro tip; our money was pocketed but only received an annoyed look back as if to say "Und was soll ich mit diesem Almosen tun?" All this leaves me to think that some attention is there only because we hope for a large tip and if this doesn't happen it is pointed out in an uncourteous way to the customer. Finally I want to say my opinion... Dear seeblick staff, remember that you in the gastronomy business and like all the free entrepreneurs in this world exist because someone brings money into your home, for you 5 euros may be nothing but for someone who left them as a tip it could be a lot of money, in life you need humility, always. Goodbye, or rather... Never again.

This restaurant is certainly good for couples, but it can't handle groups... - Minus 1 star for the poor management of the person in charge who wrote down my number incorrectly and canceled my reservation because I supposedly gave him a wrong number... - Minus 1 star because we were charged 30% more for a menu with off-the-menu dishes even though we were a group of 20 people - Minus 1 star because it spoiled our last evening a bit Until now I had always appreciated the welcome and honesty in Germany, but not at Seeblick.

We have been here several times and it is a highlight every time. The fish is super fresh and simply perfectly prepared - it couldn't be better. Paired with really good wine and service that is friendly, attentive and warm. You immediately feel comfortable. What we particularly appreciate: The quality is always consistently top! Everything just fits. And the view is simply a dream! For us the perfect combination of enjoyment, atmosphere and hospitality. We always enjoy coming back, absolute recommendation for anyone who loves fish!

It seemed like an absolute scam to me. We were a group of 18 people and we went for €150 per person, with prices much higher than those displayed on the outside of the building, and without any interest in clarifying them. They do not have a complaints book. The biggest scam of my life.

Since then, I have been traveling from Memmingen to Hagnau several times a year just to treat myself to culinary delights at the Hotel Seeblick. We stayed at Lake Constance for 6 days at Seeblick with our daughter and our little poodle lady. The room was really great and well furnished. A fantastic shower in the bathroom and a direct view of the lake from the balcony. A really great breakfast where we didn't miss anything. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. There was also regular nice small talk with the operators. Here too, real friendliness without any ifs and buts. At this point we would like to say a big thank you for this great holiday. We will certainly travel from the far north to Lake Constance again for the Gasthaus Seeblick. The village of Hagnau is perfectly located as a starting point for day tours and offers a special charm for walks along Lake Constance, good food, good wine and pure relaxation. In any case, we felt very comfortable and also visited the local winegrowers' association to take a bottle or two of wine home with us. Special thanks also go to Ms. Heinzelmann, who resolved a booking conflict caused by us quickly, easily and professionally, so that our vacation could become what it was. 6 really wonderful days on and around Lake Constance with perfect accommodation at the Gasthaus Seeblick. Finally, we thought it was really great that four-legged friends are also very welcome here. This is by no means possible everywhere and is certainly not a given. Kurz entschlossen und für Mittagstisch schon fast zu spät habe ich mit meiner Familie 3Personen bei bestem Kaiserwetter auf der wundervollen am See gelegen Terrasse wunderbares Essen bekommen. Der Service war top und trotzdem wir die letzten Mittags Gäste waren gab es hinterher noch 3 leckere Dessert um Espresso. So sollte Gastronomie praktiziert werden und dann zahlt man auch gerne den Angemessenen Preis für ein sehr gutes Handwerk ! Wir werden bei nächster Gelegenheit bestimmt wieder kommen. On the spur of the moment and almost too late for lunch, I and my family of three had wonderful food in the best weather on the wonderful terrace by the lake. The service was top and even though we were the last lunch guests, there were still 3 delicious desserts with espresso afterwards. This is how gastronomy should be practiced and then you are happy to pay the appropriate price for a very good craft! We will definitely come back at the next opportunity. Just to have something to drink, you get the feeling that this is not what you want, after all, you are a restaurant. You can only stay in this case for 30 minutes! Of course we would understand if the restaurant was very full and the tables were in demand. But that wasn't the case, there were at least 10 tables free. There was no rush of other guests.
