A failure on the Rhine. We went there because of the good reviews. The service is courteous and very friendly. The food was unfortunately subpar, I don't know what the other guests got who left their reviews here. My Cordonbleu was normal frozen food, there was nothing handmade about it other than throwing it in the deep fryer. We paid €60 for 2 people with one drink each. My wife's pasta was dry like usual, half of it went back. The friendly waiter took our criticism into account, which is positive, as is the service. Absolutely not recommended the “restaurant” if you can call it that... never again!!!

Located directly on the Rhine promenade, with a view of the water and the ships passing by, the location of the restaurant is hard to beat. There is an outdoor area in front of the location. This means that the restaurant is separated from the outside area (which is where we sat) by the narrow street that runs along the Rhine. There is also a roof terrace, which is certainly the better choice if you go there to eat. The service is super friendly and you get along as if you were a regular there. The food (we had tapas) was delicious, freshly prepared and to the point (zander, rump steak, tortellini). Unfortunately we were passing through, but we would definitely come back Keep up the hospitality and delicious food.

The terrace on the Rhine is beautiful, we really enjoyed the view. The waffle tasted good, as did the cappuccino. On the other hand, I cannot recommend the hot chocolate. It tasted very watery. The service was very friendly. All in all, a great stop on our bike tour!

We went there on the recommendation of our goldsmith. And it was the right decision to follow this tip. We were greeted by a very friendly cellar. He spoke mainly English, but tried to speak German. We definitely got along well with him. The food was really delicious. We tried several tapas. The dates were the highlight. The view is also really beautiful and the perfect place to unwind. We wish you continued success!

Waitress doesn't understand simple english, rude and unpolite service. Be careful when paying - take a look twice to all positions of your bill. We got some "extra" that didnt ordered. Only after involving local police they started to communicate more like it should be in the restaurant. However, food was really tasty and price was ok. So, if you are not afraid of tourist scams, this is good choice.

The food was really delicious and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. Unfortunately there is a bad grade for the service, I almost died of thirst at the table. No asking if you wanted something else to drink... my empty glass was on the table and a waiter walked past several times. A pity.

We had a very, very nice birthday party on the roof terrace of Schröder's Wacht am Rhein. Our foreign guests were thrilled with this beautiful location. The view from the roof terrace is always impressive. The tapas buffet was very tasty and plentiful. The service staff who accompanied us throughout the evening were very attentive. Conclusion: It was an all-round successful celebration and we are always happy to come back. Martina & Frank

Today I was in this great restaurant and was thrilled, the view and location were great, the service was wonderful, the nice waiter (Mr. Hamiko) who served us was super friendly and accommodating. I felt very comfortable.

Went here with a group (approx. 30 people) for coffee and dinner. The service was excellent and our requests were responded to very flexibly from the first discussions. The food was ordered à la carte (about an hour in advance). It arrived almost at the same time for all guests - great! The roof terrace invites you to sit together and relax. The view is of course great. The price/performance ratio is right.

Always happy because it's always very tasty!! The tapas selection, special requests, their preparation, the service and the friendliness were, as always, exemplary!!

Restaurant on the Rhine in Remagen. You can sit outside. Unfortunately, cars drive past on the left and lots of pedestrians walk on the right. The view of the water is beautiful. The food was good and tasty. Starter was very tasty. The main course was also very tasty. Personally, I was missing a side salad. Actually, a salad is a must as a side dish with meat. You can expect that with the grill plate for €22. Unfortunately none of the three of us got one! The staff was friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed a delicious dessert here with a view of the Rhine. The tables are a bit small and the chairs aren't really comfortable for my taste, but the location and the nice staff make up for it!

Very nice shop with a great view. Food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Compared to many other shops in the area, you don't get your food in 5 minutes. And you can taste it. Service was nice, communicative and courteous. The price is quite expensive, but the price/taste ratio is right :) Be sure to reserve a seat by the window or on the terrace. We'd love to come back.

After looking at the junk antique market on the Rhine promenade, we came across this restaurant on the way to the Remagen Museum. I was hungry, so I went in. First of all, we were not disappointed. A very attentive, unobtrusive service that brought our ordered drinks very quickly. We chose 2x Cordon Bleu pork loin, stuffed with Serrano ham, Gouda and potato fries Two huge parts that demanded a lot from us. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend the location, especially since the price/performance ratio is absolutely O.K. was. Plus the wonderful view of the Rhine from the 1st floor. A perfect stay for us.

A good restaurant in a nice setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is first class. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and simply amazing in taste. Overall, I can fully recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

19/4 ate in the restaurant. I have never eaten in a restaurant where the crowd made so much noise. People did not speak to each other but shouted. We had to wait almost an hour for the food. A large portion of pasta with a maximum of 150 grams of meat and lots of fried potatoes with two small pieces of fish. And that each for 26 euros. In short, price/quality has no relation whatsoever.

The food is very delicious, especially the homemade aioli. The service is friendly and accommodating. Every wish was fulfilled efficiently and as quickly as possible. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. Above all, it is incredibly beautiful on the terrace with a view of the Rhine. We're always happy to come back.

Spontaneously spent the lunch break here. I had pasta with (lots of) chanterelles and it was incredibly delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prices were commensurate with the very good quality.

friendly staff with no wine knowledge. 2 open white wines were old and stale. For a third I wanted to know the year: she would have to ask the boss! The advice to look at the label is then. Pliescavica is usually a meatball stuffed with sheep cheese. What is served here: 2 flat, stacked meatballs with a cold slice of sheep's cheese in between😂

A wonderful restaurant right on the Rhine. Great menus, great price-performance ratio. Nice personel. Great ambience. We always enjoy coming here to eat and in the summer we enjoy eating on the newly opened roof terrace.

The food is quite nice; a bit heavy on the onions, though. The service could definitely be much friendlier, more motivated, and organised. The view and the food are great, but we've got the wrong menu first, then we've been told the food we wanted wasn't available, then the drink wasn't available etc. A bit disappointing for a relatively pricey restaurant, I have to say.

The flooding didn't make any difference. The food was very well prepared. The fries were particularly cut. I haven't seen anything like that before. The service was polite, friendly and quick. I will gladly come again.

Eine wunderschöne Location direkt über dem Rhein, das Essen ist sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Der Service ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich dort aufgehoben und möchte nie wieder fort gehen. Für Menschen, die riesige Portionen ablehnen, sind die Tapas ideal und sind auch für Vegetarier geeignet.

Ich war ein Sonntag Nachmittag, essen war gut, Service war nett und freundlich. Einziger Kritik war das auf die Speisekarte, den Preis nicht gut erkennbar war, und das so ein schönes Lokal, eine gutes Italienischen Espresso Maschine verdient hat, statt Kaffee Automat

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich sind wirklich schön gestaltet und liebevoll dekoriert. Das Servicepersonal ist zuvorkommend und immer freundlich. Hier findet jeder ein leckeres Essen. Daumen hoch!

Wir waren auf Empfehlung unseres Hotels hier. Ich hatte das Kürbisrisotto. Das war mir leider zu geschmacklos. Den Kürbis konnte ich nicht wirklich raus schmecken. Mein Gegenüber hatte die XL Currywurst. Die Pommes waren sehr gut, die Soße für den persönlichen Geschmack zu scharf und die Currywurst wäre bei uns im Norden Standardgröße gewesen. Was dem Geschmack aber keinen Abbruch getan hat. Die Rosè Schorle war sehr gut. Und die Sitzplätze direkt am Wasser haben uns gut gefallen.

Sehr gute Essen und super freundliches Personal. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ok. Einen tern würde ich abziehen, da es ein großer Raum ist und die Lautstärke (je nach Gästen) doch etwas laut sein kann. Wen das nicht stört, dem kann ich es absolut empfehlen

schöne Dachterrasse, noch angenehmer als unten auf der "Promenade". Speisenauswahl abwechslungsreich und alles sehr lecker. Der Beilagensalat war etwas langweilig, wenig salatig, aber das Doradenfilet und das Wiener Schnitzel waren prima. Nette Bedienung. Alles bestens.

Gut geführtes Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal in Toplage. Das Essen war gut, die Preise fast angemessen, wenn es eine kleine Salatbeilage geben würde. Das Wiener Schnitzel (Kalb) mit toller Panade war sehr gut ausgebacken, die Pilzsauce als teures Extra dazu leider sehr einfach. Der Flammkuchen hat auch noch etwas "Luft nach oben". Das Angebot an Qualitätswein ist sehr gut! Für 5 Sterne für's Essen hat es dann nicht gereicht.....

Bei spätsommerlichen Temperaturen verbrachten wir zwei traumhafte Stunden auf der Terrasse, nur wenige Meter vom Rhein entfernt, bestens versorgt von einem stets aufmerksamen, freundlichen Service, der auch Sonderwünsche berücksichtigte. Das Essen: Der Beilagensalat frisch und knackig, mit würzigem, aber geschmacklich nicht erdrückendem Dressing. - Flammkuchen mit frischen Pfifferlingen: Auf unseren Wunsch wurde der Schinken durch frischen Lachs ersetzt, zu einem fairen Aufpreis, und an den Pilzen war nicht gespart worden. - Meine Tortellini an getrüffelter Sahnesauce mit Babytomaten waren einfach nur "Mmmmmmhhh..." :) Die Lage am Rand der Remagener Rheinpromenade ist ideal, wenn einem der Trubel weiter vorne zu heftig ist. Und man ist VIEL näher am Wasser und den Schiffen. Vor einem Jahr waren wir abends bei regnerischem Wetter im Gastraum im ersten Stock, und was ich oben über die Qualität des Essens und die Aufmerksamkeit des Service schrieb, kann ich auch auf diesen Besuch übertragen. (Wenn man am Fenster mit Blick auf den Rhein sitzen möchte, empfiehlt sich frühzeitige Reservierung.) Fazit: Ein rundum empfehlenswertes gastronomisches Angebot, das sich von dem touristischen 08/15 entlang des Rheins wohltuend abhebt.

Das Essen war sehr gut ,und Bedienung war hilfreich und schnell

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit toller Dachterrasse. Wir waren zu zweit und haben gegessen und jeder hatte zwei Getränke. Das Essen war sehr lecker aber als wir dann bezahlen sollten traf uns der Schlag. Für zwei Personen fast 90 Euro zu bezahlen ist echt zu heftig. Ich weiß nicht für wen wir da noch mit bezahlt haben oder ob sich jemand ein kleines Trinkgeld gegönnt hat, wer weiß. Ist kein Restaurant in das ich noch mal gehen würde.

Ein Restaurant mit Dachterrasse und Plätze am Rhein in Remagen zum Wohlfühlen. Alles stimmt vom guten Essen angefangen über leckere Getränke z.B. Traubenschorle bis zur freundlichen Bedienung. Man merkt, dass dort ein gutes Betriebsklima herrscht, dass sich auf die Gäste auswirkt. Weiter so. Ich kenne die Ursprungsfamilie, die das Restaurant seinerzeit in den 80igern Jahren schon führte. Da haben wir uns schon wohlgefühlt.

Kleine Auswahl an Speisen, aber das was da ist, ist gut! Die Qualität der Speisen ist super, jedoch sind die extrem hohen Preise damit nicht gerechtfertigt! Ich war etwas enttäuscht dass mein Salat schon zum zweiten Mal nicht gewaschen wurde (die Erde war noch dran). Generell ist es lecker, aber nicht sauber.

Richtig gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung

Wir haben draussen an der Rheinpromenade gesessen und einen leckeren Aperol Spritz zu vernünftigen Preis getrunken.

Der St. Peterfisch war etwas trocken, er wurde als Filet serviert. Die Gurken-Avocado Suppe war reichlich und schmackhaft. Die Lage des Restaurants direkt am Rhein ist ein Knaller. Wenig einladend wirkt die Treppe zum Restaurant. Kissen u. Laternen abgelegt wirken wie eine unschöne Abstelle. Der Service könnte etwas früher den Tisch abräumen.

Essen war ok. Service war gut. Oben auf Terrasse schmutzige Tische, Tualette könnte auch sauberer sein, kaputter Wasserhahn und wasser auf dem Boden ....😏
