The restaurant offers an extensive selection of Spanish dishes. Starting with tapas, which are divided into 3 categories: with fish, with meat, or vegetarian. The highlight would probably be the homemade paella. They are traditionally available with fish and meat, but also in a fish-free or purely vegetarian version. Since the paella is freshly prepared, it takes 45 minutes. You can make special requests without any problems (e.g. no prawns or already puled). We were lucky when we visited on Wednesday evening that there wasn't much going on. If you want to be on the safe side, you should reserve a table. Casa Antonio Lopez is definitely worth a visit.

Very rustic restaurant, run by an ultra-nice family! The tapas were really great, there was a large group of vegetarians and vegans and everyone was full! Both the vegetable and meat tapas were simply top! Keep it up :)

At first glance, this restaurant seems a bit run down. Randomly thrown together chairs and tables, an improvised winter garden. BUT: The food was really great. I am there with my partner who is a regular visitor. We ate tapas, they all tasted wonderful. Particularly recommended: the aioli! You can lie down in there! I also really appreciated that they finally had some really BIG drinks! For someone like me, who drinks a lot while eating (water, spritzer, soda, I don't mean alcohol), it is much more pleasant not to have to constantly look out for the waiters. The whole team/family was very attentive! I will definitely come back when I'm in Remagen again.

Food and drinks are highly recommended. Unfortunately the ambience is in need of improvement. The facility is clearly showing its age. All of the outside lighting looks and is unkempt. With just a few measures and a good hand, this could be remedied quickly.

A wonderful place of comfort. Great, delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Simply brilliant here. Wasn't here for the first time and by far not the last.

As Remagen residents, we have been guests for over 25 years and apart from the sometimes very long waiting times, we have always been quite satisfied. But since Antonio has been pulling out more and more, things have changed. The last two times we were served rather sloppily and the mood was of course ruined. Really a shame. We don't feel like going to Casa Antonio anymore...

Rustic, but therefore very special and cozy atmosphere, super delicious authentic Spanish food and friendly, attentive hosts. Clear recommendation!

Yesterday (05.03.24) we had dinner at Casa Antonio Lopez for the first time and drove home super satisfied after a good 2 hours. Great family atmosphere. Very friendly reception. The food was very tasty and we were completely full. Great tapas, very large portions and great value for money. And don't forget the San Miguel fresh from the tap (simply delicious). The food is really great, we can hardly make any progress in the menu because we're already stuck on the tapas and haven't had enough of them for a long time. The service is also great… I once asked if you could smoke under the canopy. At first we were politely rejected, but when we were the last ones there, they simply brought us an ashtray. How attentive can you be? Super great there. Everything. You can only get more out of the ambience, but it's still super comfortable there.

A very rustic establishment that seems quite simple at first glance, but creates a wonderful and authentic atmosphere. It also has the best Spanish food outside of Spain! 😍 Whether tapas, paella, tortilla or one of the main courses, it was delicious every time. There is Spanish beer and wine, the latter served in beautiful earthenware mugs. For those who like something sweet on the go, the homemade sangria is highly recommended! You can tell it's a family business that is run with passion, everyone is very friendly, accommodating and funny. 😊

Unglaublich gutes und authentisches Essen.

Ich bin alter Remagener und habe früher oft bei Antonio gut und gerne gegessen, war dort häufiger Gast. Aus diesem Grund und weil die Bewertungen hier weiterhin sehr gut waren, habe ich meine Frau und meine Schwiegermutter eingeladen, mal wieder nach Remagen zum Essen zu fahren. Wir haben zunächst gute Getränke bekommen, der Service war freundlich und das Anbieten etwas angestaubt, aber ganz ok. Der Laden war maximal halb voll, was ich für einen Freitagabend komisch fand. Wir haben dann für uns drei die "Luxus-Vorspreisen" zum Preis von 19.90 Euro pro Person bestellt. Was dann kam, war ehr peinlich. Wir erhielten als ersten Gang einen weiteren Korb Brot mit Aioli und eine ca. 5x10 cm große Salatschale .... nicht pro Kopf, sondern eine für alle drei. Da haben wir uns schon etwas gewundert und das beim Service angesprochen, der uns dann vertröstet hat und sagte "es kommt ja noch was!". Als zweiter Gang kamen dann sechs Supermarkt-Gambas im 5-Mark-Stück-Format, sechs tot und trocken gebratene, fast ungewürzte Stücke Schwein und eine Schale mit frittierten Sardellen (siehe Foto). Auf unsere erneute Nachfrage, ob das denn bei insgesamt 60 € alles sei, wurde die Kellnerin sehr ungehalten und frech. Die hinzugerufene Chefin, wohl die Tochter von Antonio, sagte uns dann, dass es ja wohl mit all dem Käse und all dem Schinken, den wir bekommen hätten, keinen Grund zur Beschwerde gäbe. Als wir dann anmerkten, dass wir nichts davon bekommen hätten, hat sie uns des Ladens verwiesen, auf gut Deutsch: rausgeworfen! Die Arroganz und die völlige Abwesenheit von Einsicht war da schon bemerkenswert ausgeprägt. Sie sagte dann noch "kannst Du gerne auf Google schreiben, ist mir scheiss egal!". So ...... here we go!! Wir sind dann, wie sonst auch immer, nach Beuel ins Sa Finca gefahren, der Laden war brechend voll und wir mussten ein paar Minuten auf einen Tisch warten, aber der Service war super, das Essen reichlich und lecker und mit Getränken haben wir 70 € bezahlt.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend, das Essen ist einfach super, Tapas reichliche Auswahl, einfach super lecker. Die Sangria ist der Hammer. Wenn wir wieder in Remagen sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall vorbei. Alles in einem, ein tolles Lokal.

Wir waren gestern Abend zum ersten Mal bei Antonio Lopez essen. Das Ambiente ist urig, die Bedienung mega nett. Der Chef selbst ist präsent und nimmt sich viel Zeit für seine Gäste. Wir kennen die spanische Küche recht gut und bereiten auch zuhause häufig Tapas zu. Was man hier an zu essen bekommt, hat uns restlos begeistert. Einfache, ehrliche spanische Gerichte - alles frisch zubereitet. Keine Convenienceprodukte. Wir hatten u.a. die Calamares naturelle, die Boquerones en vinagre (in Essig eingelegte Sardellen), Albondigas (Fleischbällchen in einer leckeren Sauce), Papas Bravas mit Salsa. Dazu den besten Pincho Moruno (Fleischspiess), den wir jemals gegessen haben. Beim nächsten Mal futtern wir uns weiter durch die Karte. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal. Bitte so bleiben und nichts verändern!

Das Lokal war sehr dunkel. Das Essen hat leider 4,6 Punkte nicht verdient. Und das Personal war auch nicht herzlich. Die Einrichtung war veraltet!

Sehr authentisches Restaurant. Nette Bedienung. Die Fischplatte war sehr lecker. Preis/Leistung gut. Für zwei Personen: 2 x Fischplatte, 2 x Weinwein (0,2) und 2 x Weizen (0,5) für 54€

Super lecker. Die beste Sangria weit und breit. Da gehen sogar Spanier aus Deutschland essen, um ein Stück Heimat zu erleben. Wir sind Stammgäste und lieben dieses Restaurant mit seinem Flair. Die Tapas sind so gut, dass man gar nicht aufhören kann davon zu schwärmen. Es ist wie ein kulinarischer Urlaub. Dankeschön Antonio & Team Leute, da müsst ihr unbedingt hin.

Auf jeden Fall mein kulinarisches Highlight der Woche. Ein sehr authentischer Spanier, direkt an der Apollinaris Kirche in Remagen. Wir hatten die klassische Runde. 16,90€/Person und man bekommt eine kalte Vorspeisen Runde wie z. B. in essig und Öl eingelegte Boquerones, einen gemischten Salat mit Tomaten, Oliven, Zwiebeln, Salat, Ei und Thunfisch, Oliven, Käse & Schinken Platte und natürlich Brot mit Aioli. Danach kam die warme Runde mit z. B. Hähnchen Teilen, fritierte Patatas, Garnelen in sidendem Knoblauch-Öl, Datteln im Speckmantel, Pimientos, Fleischbällchen, Calamari-Ringe und noch einiges mehr. Man kann sagen was man auf jeden Fall haben möchte und was man überhaupt nicht mag. Der Koch entscheidet dann was auf den Tisch kommt. Wir waren bis jetzt noch nie enttäuscht und waren danach schon sehr satt! Dazu gab es frisch gezapftes San Miguel von Fass und für die Kinder noch ein Eis aufs Haus. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner aber in der sehr gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich fast ein wenig wie in Spanien in einem Hintergassen Geheimtipp Restaurant von Einheimischen.🤤 Für 19,90 bekommt man die deluxe Variante und es würde ein 2. warmer Gang folgen. Absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen sehr gerne, auch mit Freunden, wieder!👍🏻💪🏻

Tapas hervorragend. Authentisches Lokal. Paella war sehr lecker. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Erbsen Bohnen und Paprika sollten TK oder frisch sein. Rest war super. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Casa von Antonio ist einfach ein uriger Ort zum Wohlfühlen mit dem super leckersten spanischen Essen ever. Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden und werden immer wieder gerne hingehen.

Für mich seit fast 35 Jahren jedes Mal wie eine kleine Auszeit, ein Kurzurlaub in Spanien. Authentisch, gleichbleibend lecker und urig. Antonio, das Herzstück der "Casa Antonio Lopez". Unbedingt reservieren!!!

Rustikales Tapas Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Auf die Frage nach der Empfehlung des Tages verwies der Senior Chef auf die Tapas Karte. Diese ist umdänglich und deckt die typischen spanischen Tapas ab. Außergewöhnliches findet sich allerdings nicht. Das Mobiliar ist bunt gewürfelt und das Ambiente rustikal. Die Preise sind für Tapas in Deutschland sehr moderat, stimmen aber nicht mit der Webseite überein 😉 Man kann hier einen schönen Abend verbringen und das Essen ist sein Geld wert.
