Would-be noble Turk. Overpriced run-of-the-mill dishes. 13€ for a tiny salad with tough meat slices (supposed to be lamb fillet tips) is overpriced. Salad doesn't have to be swimming in sauce either. I don't have to go there again.

Sterile atmosphere, clean but uncomfortable. Although the restaurant is located directly on the Rhine, there is a road between the Rhine and the restaurant, which makes it difficult to have conversations at the open window. The food is well below the level we would have expected at these prices. Even if the pictures shown here reflected reality, the food had little taste and tasted almost bland. The fries are not crispy with little salt and taste of their own. The salad was good. Homemade iced tea can be described as a chemical solution. The service was friendly, but seemed rushed, even though there were few customers in the store. I strongly advise against the Lahmacun. I've really eaten this better EVERYWHERE 😵‍💫

My wife just brought home a lamb skewer wrap for me. I have to be honest, it's so bad, how can you even sell something like that as take-away food? The dough was just mushy, you had to look for the few pieces of lamb in the mass of lettuce and then everything was nice and cold even though it was only 5 minutes away by car. That was the first and last time I ate something there.

2 years ago it was really delicious. Today the mega failure!! The food...sorry...I don't need it again. That was really nothing people!!! There were 6 of us there, one person got their food 20 minutes late, a second person's starter was completely forgotten. The cola was only served in a bottle, we didn't get any glasses...all in all we weren't there at all satisfied... unfortunately we won't be coming back⬇️

I recently ate here and found the food delicious. The room was a bit warm, I would have appreciated better cooling like a fan on the ceiling or something. The service was overall good and friendly.

Nice restaurant, as a starter flatbread with two delicious dips. Then grilled chicken with tomato and some kind of whole grain rice and a yogurt sauce. Everything really tasty. But there were bread cubes in the sauce, which was very tasty, which I would have left out.

Very large bar, with music way too loud. There is no alcohol... I accept that, but I am worried that the animals will be slaughtered when I see the notice. This is unacceptable to me. Service was OK both times, but nothing more. The food still has a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste.

We were there to test it out with a focus on appetizers. We ordered 1x meze, 1x pide, both a fruit spritzer and 1 Turkish cafe. All this for €35 The food wasn't of bad quality, but the taste couldn't keep up with the ones we were familiar with. No accessories like olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, pepperoni or dolma. Just 5 pastes that taste the same and a salad and a spicy dip. A flatbread (unfortunately not briefly roasted again so it was a bit rubbery). The ride was pizza dough, thinly rolled out and very poorly topped with chopped meat (not even 2 goulash cubes). No enrichment and no accessories here either. Very positive, the very attentive friendly service. After we honestly expressed our disappointment, she brought us a bowl of olives and feta. That was the only thing that tasted Turkish to us or that had some spice and flavor. Garlic simply wasn't there, even in the tzatziki cream. Everything had to be seasoned with salt and pepper to have any flavor at all. I didn't taste any chili, cumin, black cumin, allspice, cinnamon, thyme, dill, fenugreek, garlic, parsley, mint, sesame, Pul Biber here. 😒 It's a shame. Otherwise nice, clean atmosphere. Background music was only available upon request. After we had already ordered the cafe and expressed our wishes. We were served very nicely and sat nicely. But in the future we will get our Turkish starters again from the snack bar or Turkish shop. They only cost a fraction of the price and taste worlds better.

Well, I've had better sac tavas. No-go rice and bulgur have no place in a sac tava. This borders on fraud. Lots of tomatoes ensure that you don't have any taste of the meat. Service was nice. Ambiance is the only thing that convinced me to visit this store. And the label Homemade Doner at least looked like the skewer was already attached.

Food ok. Not a big difference between spicy and normal. Neither at the Spies nor at the Lahmacun. Just a minced meat skewer for €18 isn't much. Service is pretty inconsistent. Nice view. Nice lounge furniture. Unfortunately they are always reserved. After eating, the restaurant becomes a playground for many children. The parents don't care whether other guests want to enjoy their meal in peace.

On Friday we tried the restaurant A la Turka. It was around 7 p.m. and the place was almost empty. A waiter greeted us very friendly and showed us to our table. The space is very large, open and impersonally cold. This means that the background noise is very loud, even when there are few guests. They quickly brought us the menu and asked for drinks. I was looking forward to a cold pilsner the whole way there. Then the shock! "We don't have any alcoholic drinks," replied the waiter. Surprised and disappointed, I ordered a soft drink. The appetizer platter we ordered came quickly, tasted very good and was also very plentiful. Suddenly the waiter came and took the plate with him, even though I was still eating. It happened so quickly that I didn't have time to react because the main courses were brought out. Fries were delicious, dumplings with meat and salad were also very tasty. Dessert is a dream. At the end we were offered tea, which we also enjoyed. As I was leaving the restaurant I read something about Halal as I walked past. This is probably also the reason why there are no alcoholic drinks. I accept that. Everyone should have and live out their faith. The operator of course has property rights and can sell whatever he wants. In return, as a guest you can also say “Not with me!”. Everyone can think about it however they want. But I don't have to take part in it. Conclusion: Very nice service, very tasty food at a reasonable price, but unfortunately not again. Like the operator, I also have my principles, even if it's difficult.

Great location right on the Rhine. Very large and especially the beautiful oriental benches are very cozy and sociable. ATTENTION: DOGS FORBIDDEN!!! It's not on the HP, just a small one. Sign at the entrance at the bottom (can't be missed!) Impersonally large restaurant (like a diner) without privacy and loud. Located right on the very busy road. Only the proximity to the Rhine is positive if you have the view from the table. The food was not seasoned enough and unfortunately lukewarm, the side salad was fresh but completely tasteless. If you value quantity on your plate, this is the right place for you. The waiters were very overly friendly, too much for us, we felt like we were being watched. We won't go there again, it tastes better in every Turkish snack bar and dogs aren't a problem

Good selection of dishes, large portions, everything very well seasoned, the salad was very tasty. There is only one point deduction, the food was no longer that hot when it arrived at the table. Preheat the plates, which makes sense given the portion size. First there was fresh bread with dip and at the end there was tea, which was really good after the gluttony. I didn't finish my portion. Friendly service, atmosphere a bit cool given the size of the restaurant, but OK.

Just bought and paid for 4 Turkish pizzas, arrived home...there were only 3 Turkish pizzas in the pizza box. When I called and said that there were only 3 pizzas in the pizza box, I only received a rude "yes, we know". Not even an apology... so it's best to be careful and take a look at what you're given before you go home and not blindly trust others!

The food is OK. The ambience is also quite acceptable. Prices are exorbitantly high for a restaurant of this quality. These are prices comparable to Turkish restaurants in Cologne (they are also overpriced) with prime locations and high customer frequency. I don't understand how you can charge €6-7 for a soup and €8.50 for lahmacun. It seems to me as if these restaurants are all jumping on the inflation bandwagon and simply increasing their prices by 30-40% without justification. For comparison, you can get main courses in Asian restaurants for €13-15. Here we are at 18-20€. Upscale German restaurants charge €20-25 for main courses and this is absolutely justified for the quality, service and ambience. But this is absolutely not appropriate in terms of price-performance ratio.

Hab Mohammad is the best waiter

Three of us were seated at a table that had not yet been cleared by the previous guest. Although there were plenty of free tables. With that statement, I'll clear it up straight away. Over the next half hour, more guests arrived and were seated at clean tables and given cards and drinks. After being pointed out several times and waiting for 30 minutes, we left the restaurant without having tasted the food. It's a shame and therefore few stars!

Das Essen (Lamm-Wrap) war leider kalt, als es serviert wurde. Lediglich das Fleisch war lauwarm. Als der Kellner nachfragte, wie das Essen war und ich ihn darauf hinwies, dass mein Essen kalt war, erwiderte er mehrfach, dass dies gar nicht sein könne. Ein Eingehen auf den Kunden gab es nicht. Ich habe mir dann erspart auch noch darauf hinzuweisen, dass die zu den Pommes im Schälchen servierte Mayonnaise und der Ketchup bereits eine Oberflächenhaut gebildet hatten, weil sie offenbar so lange vorbereitet in der Küche standen. Kein Ort, um lecker zu essen und sich wohl zu fühlen!

Kann keine Punkte vergeben. Wollten eben ,dort Essen...leider durfte der kleine Hund nicht mit rein. Dann Pech ..10 Leute gehen jetzt wo anders essen. Gehen auch ohne Hund nicht dort hin.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal hier und es war echt Weltklasse. Der Grillteller und Beyti Kebab waren der absolute Wahnsinn, einfach köstlich. Der krönende Abschluss waren Baklava sowie Pistazientasche mit hausgemachtem Eis. Auch die hausgemachten Eistees und Ayran sind spitze. Der Service war zuvorkommend und super freundlich, wir wurden nett empfangen und super freundlich bedient. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, kann man einfach nur weiterempfehlen. 🥳

So glad this is not yet another Döner Kebab shop! This place easily deserves a 5 star rating for the choice, flavor and quality. You can smell the wood fire grill from the parking lot, best advertisement to walk in. Service is prompt and friendly and the prices are reasonable. I don't understand some of the bad reviews about high prices ? I think this is partly a cultural problem as Germans are seriously price sensitive when it comes to food and don't care that much about flavor in my opinion. (Quantity over quality) good luck to the owners we will definitely be back!

Das essen war sehr lecker und der Service war super freundlich alles war sauber und das Ambiente gefiel uns sehr gut 👍 Wir waren bereits ein zweites Mal dort und wieder war es sehr schön nur zu empfehlen, für gutes Essen bezahlt man auch Gerne etwas mehr.

War jetzt schon ein paar mal dort Essen und habe auch Essen mitgenommen alles sehr schmackhaft und es wird frisch auf dem Holzkohle Grill gemacht. Auch der Salat hat ein super Dressing in anderen Läden meist ohne Salz Pfeffer oder anderen Gewüzen. Auch alles sehr Sauber und bis jetzt immer sehr freundlich bedient worden. Weiter so 👌👍

Heute zum wiederholten Male hier gewesen und obwohl wir fast 100 km Anfahrt haben ist es jedesmal ein Erlebnis. Endlich mal die türkische Küche sehr authentisch erleben zu dürfen die verschiedenen Gewürze zu schmecken....WOW. Ganz großes Kino war für mich diesmal Baklava, so lecker habe ich es noch nie gegessen,danke. Abschließend einen großen Dank an das Team, freundliche, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Bis bald. Wenn man rein kommt fühlt man sich wie in einer anderen Welt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ich habe selten so gut gegessen! Das Fleisch ist butterzart und gut gewürzt. Brot, Salat, Saucen und Pasten schmecken hervorragend. Ein großes Kompliment - wir komme wieder!

Hallo. Auf Grund eines Gutscheins waren wir genötigt dort Essen zu gehen. 😁 Aber es stellte sich raus der Gutschein war ein tolles Geschenk und wir haben es genossen. Sehr nettes Personal auch der Chef hat sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit erkundigt. Wir werden dort auf alle Fälle wieder Essen gehen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wie im Urlaub.. nur ohne weite Anreise :-) Super lecker gegessen! Gemischter Vorspeisen Teller mit lecker Brot verschiedene Hauptgänge, Grillteller, Hähnchenspieß, Dönerteller Chicken,.. alles quer probiert und mit der Familie genossen... alle papp satt.. und weil wir so gemütlich orientalisch gesessen haben, bei schönem Rheinblick.. haben wir uns noch leckeres turkisches Milcheis gegönnt.. Der Ayran ist übrigens ganz fein und ich liebe türkischen Reis. Ab gerundet wird aus unserer Sicht das ganze durch passende Musik und sehr höfliche Bedienung, welche uns sogar vom Empfang zum gewünschten Tisch begleitete. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Haben hier gegessen, und zuvor sogar bereits bestellt. Preis/Leistung mehr als fair, qualitativ super Speisen, absolut köstlich.

Top Service. Für die Gegend wirklich gutes Ambiente. Die Speisen sind ok, aber nicht überragend. Der exzellente Service und das Ambiente machen einen Besuch aber wert. Die Preise sind wie derzeit üblich.
