Restaurant Schreberhaus in Esslingen am Neckar

Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service sehr freundlich.

Mit einer größeren Gruppe waren wir unter der Woche zu Gast und wurden von Anfang an herzlich empfangen. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir entspannt Platz nehmen und die angenehme Atmosphäre genießen. Da wir noch auf den Rest unserer Gruppe warten mussten, wollten wir uns schon einmal etwas Brot mit Dip bestellen. Eigentlich hatten wir gedacht, dass die auf der Karte angebotene Knoblauchsauce als Dip geeignet wäre. Als sich herausstellte, dass das nicht der Fall war, meinte der Inhaber ganz unkompliziert, dass er uns schnell einen frischen Knoblauchdip zubereiten könne. Wenig später stand ein richtig leckerer, hausgemachter Knoblauchdip mit Brot auf dem Tisch. Zusätzlich empfahl er uns noch einen Auberginen-Dip, den wir ebenfalls probieren durften. Genau solche kleinen Gesten machen den Unterschied und zeigen echte Gastfreundschaft. Der Umgang war von Anfang an herzlich, locker und authentisch – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Zum Hauptgang teilte ich mir mit einer Begleitung die gemischte Grillplatte. Besonders die Mici waren für mich das Highlight: wunderbar saftig, hervorragend gewürzt und voller Geschmack. Den Austausch der Pommes gegen die rumänischen Bratkartoffeln setzte die Küche völlig unkompliziert um, was ebenfalls für die Flexibilität spricht. Auch der frische Salat und das eingelegte Gemüse passten hervorragend dazu und rundeten das Gericht perfekt ab. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Herz gekocht und Gastgebersein gelebt wird. Die Portionen sind großzügig, die Preise absolut fair und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auf ganzer Linie. Wer ehrliche Küche, herzlichen Service und eine familiäre Atmosphäre schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Restaurant, der Service war gut, ich aß die Bauchsuppe, meiner Meinung nach hätte sie mehr Knoblauch vertragen können, die Papayas waren gut, aber man kann nicht mit Karte zahlen und muss Kleingeld dabei haben!

Wunderschönes Restaurant... Ruhe, saubere Luft... köstliches Essen und außergewöhnlicher Service... wir kommen gerne wieder 🥰

Das Restaurant Schreberhaus in Esslingen hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen ist frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität geachtet wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal – sehr nett, freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Wir waren dort bei einem Stand-up-Comedy-Abend und haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und gemütlich, ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein toller Ort, super Service. Perfekt für ein ruhiges Essen. Makele, die Inhaberin, ist super – respektvoll und herzlich. ❤️ Ich empfehle es nicht für alle, die schnell essen und wieder gehen wollen, denn es ist kein Fast Food. 😉

Freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen, einfaches Ambiente, günstige Preise.

Sehr gutes rumänisches Essen für guten Preis. Ambiente könnte etwas besser sein aber ein sehr freundliches Personal. Wir sind von Stuttgart hingefahren, war etwas schwer zu finden, weil leider keine Beschilderung, nur ein Schild von der Strasse, dann nichts mehr, etwas verwinkelt. Aber insgesamt alles super und lecker, würde ich jede Zeit wieder hin. Würde ich sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

I don't recommend it at all. I was there yesterday. The food wasn't cooked properly. And even the one that was edible left traces. Stomach aches and all that….. .

The two of us came here for dinner. We received a very warm welcome and good advice. Even though we only ate two schnitzels, salad, and dessert, the meal was very pleasant and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be back :)

Everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the delicious food, the very nice waitress...we had to wait for the olecuțica papanași but it was worth it...they were delicious! We will definitely come back next time!!!

Yes, totally unprepared for a larger number of people

We won't go there again! We were there by bike for Mother's Day, wanted something spontaneous to eat, and asked politely, but all we got was a quick nod from the waitress and she was gone again. After 20 minutes, there was still no sign of service. If you don't want our money, it's your own fault. The outdoor area could use some sprucing up.

We were there on May 1st with several families - and unfortunately the visit was a complete nuisance. The waiting times were extremely long, with no information or apology from the staff. The open kitchen made a shockingly unhygienic impression: dirty dishes, disorder and overall no trace of cleanliness. It's a shame, because this restaurant used to be really good - but apparently the owner has changed and things have gotten significantly worse since then. We really can't recommend this restaurant at all. Actually, even one star is still too many. Perhaps an official inspection by the health department would make sense to check whether operation is still permitted under these conditions.

The food wasn't really warm, the meat was tough, it took an hour for the food to arrive even though there were very few guests. The service was bad, the waitress barely spoke German and brought the wrong drinks twice. How can such a restaurant participate in your restaurant, my restaurant on Kabel 1? We were there once and never again.

We were here for the first time yesterday. It was very good to eat in a lovingly designed ambience. A big compliment to the friendly host who served us excellently and to the chef for his fresh, authentically prepared dishes. We would love to come back to try other delicious dishes and wish the young gastro couple all the best! Goodbye at the Schrebergarten restaurant :-)

Some morons. I don't answer the phone. We drive 150 km and arrive at 20:30. It says the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. They don't want to serve us. I do not recommend very unprofessional and very dirty.

According to the internet, there will be African cuisine on Saturday and Sunday. That wasn't the case. Then Cevapcici: no texture, taste a bit musty, terrible. Service: A glass, standing on the table, knocked over. No heating! Other guests have SEVERAL videos playing on their cell phones at full volume without paying any attention to other people. This was not prevented by the service. 0 stars from me PS: no photo because the food isn't worth a photo. It's a shame, I was blinded by the TV report.

Unfortunately, the owners have changed, and I think the chef too; or the place of supply! The preparations are no longer as tasty as in the past, the papanasi taste like almonds, the belly soup is lukewarm, on the cold side; the cream and peppers came with the grill! The lady who takes the orders doesn't know the details about the dishes on the menu and it's understandable (it's like asking a German to make a Moldavian tochitura)! The grill plate for two people also contains potatoes (for 3 people), but she knew that it was just decoration; on the menu, the small portion has two pieces and potatoes, there are four on the plate!

The taste is great and the portion is really sufficient. Cabbage wrap Goulash with potato slices.

Great restaurant in the countryside just outside Esslingen. The price-performance ratio is simply right here! Food with a good selection was very tasty! We were very happy, also with the fast and friendly service! There is plenty of space for children to play outside, which ours enjoyed and we were able to sit and relax with a drink. We'd love to come back :)

Unfortunately, the Romanian-style grill plate didn't live up to my expectations. The meat was plentiful, but unfortunately of poor quality. It was very mixed and too fatty, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. I would have liked a better balance between fatty and lean pieces here. The vegetables were also a disappointment. According to the menu it was supposed to be pickled, which I expected to be an interesting and fresh addition. Instead, it became clear that it was a finished product that was neither convincing in terms of taste nor quality. To make matters worse, the knife I was handed was dull, making cutting the already tough meat a challenge. However, I would like to highlight the service positively. The waiter was very polite and always attentive, which somewhat alleviated what was otherwise a rather disappointing experience. Overall, the dish was unfortunately not harmonious and neither met my expectations nor the description on the menu. For the price I was hoping for much better quality and attention to detail. Too bad!

Biggest restaurant disappointment. The waiters look like they are not in the mood for work, very disorganized and even confuse the orders. I arrived and after only 25 minutes someone came to clean the table and take the order. The food is very tasty but that's all.

Loveless, not very authentic, little choice - the cabbage wraps were out, the mici were pure garlic bombs and what the Transylvanian stew has to do with a stew is something only the cook or innkeeper knows. In addition, the dishes were served so carelessly without garnishes that it looked like an outdoor pool meal. The goulash alone came attractively in a kind of hanging pot. The drink prices are positive. It was worth a try, but we don't have the arguments to visit again.

I was thrilled when I was there yesterday. Wonderful food, I sat in a lovely little side room because there was a birthday party in the restaurant. I liked it, it was very comfortable. The service was friendly and professional. In any case, I would like to go back to try more Romanian cuisine. I am happy about every restaurant that brings me closer to the culinary diversity of cuisines from all cultural backgrounds.

We celebrated a round birthday with 25 people and were thrilled. There was a good buffet and uncomplicated organization. There was a music box, smoke machine and party lights. The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, especially the starter platters were very appealing. Highly recommended, we would love to come back!

This is the first we come to this restaurant. We just sit wherever is available because nobody attend to us. Wait around 5-10 mins even the place is almost empty and only two tables are occupied. Then we decide to sit inside and the other waiter she promptly serve us. She was nice and friendly. We order couple of dishes. They all taste so good. We love the Aubergine salad, it was so special. The other dishes also so good. Overall this place is recommended.

Das Essen war nicht Besonders es war überteuert und Bedienung war auch nicht nett oder einfach höflich.

Ich war mit meiner Partnerin aufgrund der positiven Google-Empehlungen im Schreberhaus, um insbesondere die rumänischen Spezialitäten zu probieren. Meine Partnerin ist Rumänin und daher sehr selektiv was das Essen aus ihrer Heimat anbelangt. Nicht nur sie war sehr begeistert was ihr präsentiert wurde, auch das Schnittel mit fritierten Kartoffelscheiben, das mir dargereicht wurde, war absolut perfekt und nicht trocken, wie man es oft auf den Teller bekommt. Auch die rumänische Süßspeise war wie es die rumänische Küche zu Hause 1:1 wiedergibt, Küche also wie "bei Muttern"...gibt es ein besseres Kompliment? Ich kann das Schreberhaus also "wärmstens empfehlen" ( wie man immer so schön sagt) aber tatsächlich sehr empfehlenswert, auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und es war sicherlich nicht der letzte Besuch im Schreberhaus für uns.

Mâncarea a fost foarte buna. Nimic de zis aici. Servirea .. așa și așa. Ne-a fost uitat un fel de mâncare. Una dintre persoanele cu care am fost nu și-a primit mâncarea. Șeful restaurantului și-a cerut scuze fiind vina lui pentru că el ne-a luat comanda. În semn de recunoștință și scuze am primit 1 porție de papanasi gratis la pachet iar șeful a venit să ne servească cu bere africana din partea casei. Foarte drăguț și asumat. Însă servirea rămâne mediocră din partea celorlalți chelari. Ambianță.... E bine că e. Nimic deosebit. Te simți că la o taverna.

Am sărbătorit ziua mea de naștere la Restaurantul Schreberhaus și a fost o experiență remarcabilă. Mâncarea a fost delicioasă, servirea impecabilă și ambianța elegantă. Personalul a fost prietenos și atent. Preparatele au fost foarte gustoase si oaspeții au rămas foarte multumiți. Ambianța sofisticată a restaurantului a creat o atmosferă relaxantă și plăcută. Recomand cu căldură Restaurantul Schreberhaus tuturor celor în căutare de o experiență deosebită într-un cadru elegant. Va fi cu siguranță o alegere memorabilă pentru ocazii speciale.

Das Essen ist lecker und die Bedienung war freundlich. Ich denke aber es gibt Verbesserungspotenzial in der Präsentation der Speisen. Der Senf bei den Cevapcicis sollte zB lieber in kleinen Schälchen oder direkt auf dem Teller serviert werden.

Also wenn ich hier so einige Beurteilungen lese, bleibt mir die Luft weg. Ich war am Samstag da. Klein wenig schwer durch die Schrebergärten, aber es ging. Da hat ein Restaurant am Samstag und Sonntag von 12 Uhr bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, bzw. die Küche. Jedes Deutsche Restaurant hat die Küche um 14 Uhr zu, und macht um 17 Uhr wieder auf. Und hier beschweren sich noch Leute. Der Hammer. - - - - Mir hat es gefallen, Essen sehr günstig und lecker. Bedienung zu schnell und nett. Draußen gesessen, so erholsam ruhig, kein Verkehrslärm gehört. Einfach nur toll und zu empfehlen. Sauber gepflegter Innenraum, wie die Toiletten auch, sehr sauber. 😉👍🌞Ich komme wieder.

Essen ist sehr gut, aber für eine Schrebergarten Wirtschaft meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Preise wurden gerade wieder erhöht.

Gutes Deutsch - Rumäniesches Lokal mit Leckeren Speisen. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach und schlicht, wobei die Stühle (im Gastraum) mit der Zeit leider etwas unbequem werden. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind meines Erachtens ausreichend groß. Nachtrag / Änderung nach Stellungnahme des Gastwirtes. Dank an den Gastwirt für seine Antwort und Berichtigung. Der kleine Beilagensalat ist leider mit einer (einfachen🙁) Vinaigrette vertig Vinaigrette angemacht (schade - eine Vinaigrette selber machen ist sicherlich nicht teurer aber besser) die mir gar nicht geschmeckt hat. Die Bedingungen ist sehr nett und freundlich, wenn auch die Kombination zum Teil in Englisch erfolgen musste. Der Nachtisch "Papanaşi" war der Hammer und super lecker 😋 aber, finde ich, für eine Person zu viel, so als Nachtisch. Der recht große Terassen-Garten- bereich lädt im Sommer, wenn es warm ist, zum gemütlichen verweilen ein.

Kleines Restaurant mit kleiner Speisekarte. Sehr ruhig und abgeschieden gelegen. Bedienung hat nicht deutsch gesprochen, was aber nicht schlimm ist, da die Herzlichkeit gestimmt hat. Unbedingt probieren: Die Krautwickel.

Preis/Örtlichkeit und Leistungssieger ;) Ein tolles gut bürgerliches Restaurant, ruhig gelegen etwas außerhalb von Esslingen. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Restaurant und in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Terrasse mit wasserdichten Pavillons und nicht zu vollgestopft mit Tischen. Essen war lecker - große Portionen! Preise wirklich angemessen. Auch kleineren Sonderwünschen kommt man nach. Ich habe zB eine Vase für Blumen bekommen, die meine Begleitung mitgebracht hatte. Wir waren dort unter der Woche und es war angenehm ruhig. Jederzeit wieder!

Oribil. Am fost sa mâncam și ei ne au servit mici vechi si reîncălziti.Normal trebuiau făcuți atunci pe moment.Le am spus si ne a zis sa vorbim personal cu șefa. Am vorbit si cu ea si i-am zis si ne a spus ca la 95% din oameni ce au mâncat le au plăcut si a plecat . Foarte frumos din partea lor.

Restaurantul cu cea mai oribila mâncare posibila. Mici vechi, reîncălziti și oribili la gust!!! Pe lângă toate astea, patroana restaurantului m-a ignorat total!!
