Food was ok, but nothing special. Service was friendly, but not overly motivated. The ambience was okay, but we were the only guests for the rest of the hour and were then asked to pay an hour before the official closing time.

Would have liked to leave a review, but we weren't allowed to stay because we had a dog with us. So just a note: dogs are not allowed.

We were guests on December 24th, 2024 - our special thanks for that! The reservation many weeks ago was a bit chaotic but we were very positively surprised when we arrived. A very friendly welcome and quick drinks immediately put us in a good mood. Despite a Christmas menu, à la carte was possible. Starters and main courses are all different. Our food came in one go - we've had a different experience elsewhere. Then something sweet at the end. The family left happy. Many thanks to the team - almost forgot: the food was worth every euro.

Went there yesterday and there were only positive things. Also a very chic restaurant with a fantastic view of the Elbe. The food was very delicious 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The prices were reasonable. Service was attentive and nice. The owner was super friendly and you generally feel very comfortable. There was also live music suitable for the Christmas season. In summary, it doesn't get any better than this. Everything was great and I can only recommend it 👌

Kale was ok, but the "crispy" duck was a disaster. Tough as a shoe sole and nowhere crispy. Instead of apologizing for the miserable food, they initially wanted us to pay the full price. Service was otherwise very nice and helpful, although we were almost alone in the restaurant. Very nice location on the Elbe, a lot of ambience is of course to be expected in an empty restaurant.

Nice shop in itself. Unfortunately the skin of the duck wasn't crispy and the service was non-existent. And that in a completely empty restaurant. It's a shame about the beautiful place.

The restaurant was all normal okay. The food was very, very good and I really can't complain about it. However, we waited a long time for our drinks and a very long time for our food, a total of over an hour and a half. Unfortunately, this somewhat distorted the overall result. The ambience was very nice and the facility was very well maintained, although there were a few leaves lying around everywhere, especially in autumn, which could have easily been blown away with a leaf blower. However, I would still recommend going here because the restaurant was otherwise very well done and you had a view of the Elbe

Food was good, panfish and fish soup, the roast beef was more grayish than delicate pink, the smallest portion of fried potatoes ever 🤔 Be careful when paying by card: tip 10% given, billed almost twice as much! Noticed and complained, received refund in cash but also incorrectly 😕

The view from this restaurant alone is worth a visit. Direct view of the Elbe, visavis Airbus industry, if you are lucky you can see the Beluga (transport aircraft) landing or taking off within touching distance! The service, the food and drinks, everything is great. We'd love to come back.

We had 2 bad experiences, so unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant. On the one hand, we have reserved a celebration with several people (14) during the week and weeks in advance. Unfortunately there weren't even flowers on the table and one waiter was there so rarely that we went to the bar to order ourselves. We waited almost 2 hours for the food to arrive (despite only 3 other tables being occupied). However, the food was delicious. The toilets were also blocked at times. On the other hand, we wanted to have a drink there in the evening and maybe eat something (during the week and good weather; parking lot 3/4 empty). When we parked in the parking lot and then just wanted to take the dog to the dog park in front of the house, we were spoken to directly by the owner and pointed out that it was a private parking lot. We can understand the displeasure (tourists) and explained that we would sit down straight away and only wanted to walk 100m (dog park). In short, we were very rudely turned away from the parking lot and were not allowed to have a drink there

After a very bumpy start to planning. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and the service was attentive and friendly. You should urgently work on the organization. You really get the feeling that the leadership is a bit of a mess. It would also be nice to have a current menu on the homepage.

A beautifully located restaurant with a great view. Unfortunately we had to wait forever before we could place our food order. It took quite some time before the food was served. The food itself wasn't bad but not good either. We would like to test it again.

The most beautiful location is of no use if you have to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to the table and deal out the cards. So it went on. The wine arrived 20 minutes after ordering, the bottle was already opened and the glasses were half poured. A rogue who thinks evil of it. In any case, an absolute NO GO!

Beautiful place with Beautiful views. Best part is they have a place for doing small celebrations of around 40 people . Loved the vegetarian white Pasta and Spicy tomato pasta there. Highly recommend.

Yes, the view is really great, but I don't understand the good reviews. We were here for the first time today and ordered a schnitzel and ravioli. The schnitzel tasted like fish, as if it had been baked in a used pan or something similar. After complaining about the very slow service, the response was very brisk and aggressive. The waiter tried the schnitzel and denied any allegations. Both of us, not fish eaters, could clearly perceive the fishy taste, which made it “inedible” for us. Compensation (not even drinks) for a whole meal that was returned was not offered. The ravioli were a complete mess, but in my opinion 6 ravioli are not a 20€ portion. In addition, 3 out of 5 starters were not in stock, which in retrospect makes us glad we didn't leave any more money behind. With over 15 years of gastronomy experience, we would have wished and imagined the situation to be different. Unfortunately, the Elv restaurant cannot be recommended.

Delicious food with a beautiful view

Had dinner with friends at ELV last night. Fantastic. The large terrace with a view of the Elbe couldn't be more beautiful. The large awning provides great protection against bright sunlight and it was pleasantly warm. The beer was delicious, the food was very good, the service was very friendly. Even though the restaurant was busy, everything came quickly. The dessert, Kaiserschmarrn, was a hit. Another positive thing to mention: You can park your car easily, right in front of the restaurant. We were there by bike.

Can only recommend the restaurant! Best view of the Elbe, super delicious food and great service. We would love to go there again!

Great atmosphere, with a bit of luck you can see the Airbus 🛬 & 🛫 planes while enjoying delicious cake. Sometimes the “BELUGA” is also there, bringing the fuselage parts from Toulouse.

Location is very good, but the food is mediocre. Fish soup is tomato soup with a shrimp, salad was mediocre.

On TikTok they are all big and bad about guests but they don't get anything done in the store. Normally you should be very quiet because I think what is being said is not an experience from them but from the guests, as you can see from all the reviews on other portals except Google

I haven't been there often but what I've had has always been good. The savoy cabbage tasted like it did in my childhood. The fish dishes were also good.

We had lunch, were greeted very friendly when we arrived and were served courteously. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. With freshly tapped beer and delicious dessert, an all-round perfect experience.

Few days ago we have been eating there. Food was not delicious at all and service was also not great. And personal was fighting eachother badly we have seen that. It was crazy. Must be careful to go this place

Saved a lot of money because we were never seen, nor attended. It was Saturday afternoon around 15:00, there werent too many guests in the restaurant. We sat on one of the tables in the terrace area for about 20 minutes without receiving the menu card to order although the waiters looked at us several times from afar , while getting payments from other tables, etc.. finally we had to leave out of disrespect. While I unfortunately cannot feedback on the quality of food, the incredible view of Elbe from their terraces is truly to fall for 😁

Super unfriendly, incompetent service and especially manager! Beer came after 30 minutes without foam, food still not there after 45 minutes. We politely canceled and asked for the bill. The unfriendly manager came to us, instead of apologizing she just said what we were thinking, the shop was full and if we canceled the food now, we could leave straight away and would no longer be allowed to park there.

My 3 year old daughter wasn't allowed to go to the toilet just because we weren't guests. And in a terrible tone!

I was sent out in a rude tone because I wanted to use the toilet.

Unfortunately I can't judge the food and the service, I was simply ignored 🤷‍♂️. You can sit there on the terrace and look at the Elbe, and save money because you don't even get served. This happened to several guests... who then left the restaurant dissatisfied...

The only plus point of the restaurant is the location and the view that comes with it. Unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly. After we had waited 15 minutes in the empty shop for our order to be taken, when I asked to place the order, I was only answered with annoyance and told off that we would have to wait a little longer. After we ordered (2x coffee & 2x cake), the order came within 10 minutes, but unfortunately the cake was still raw, doughy and not fully baked. After we had returned both pieces of kitchen, the waitress came back with one of the pieces of kitchen that she had previously picked apart in the kitchen to argue with us that it was baked through. When it came to the other piece of cake, she admitted that it wasn't baked through. There was no apology or anything like that. We kindly told the staff that we didn't want any more cake. The waitress/landlady then came to our table and threw a plate with a fresh piece of cuisine on the table. We said again that we didn't want any more cake. Then the lady just rolled her eyes at you and said in an annoyed tone that we should just take the piece with us. Professional gastronomy works differently. No value is placed on customer satisfaction. We only had cake, I don't want to know how normal main courses will behave. P.S.: Of course the cake was not deducted from the bill and was collected without any apology.

Impossible, far too slow operation that doesn't do its job properly. Guests who took their seats 5 minutes ago are served, while others run after the waiter for 40 minutes to take an order. In addition, the tables are not cleared and left dirty. It's a shame, the location had a lot of potential.

We were there on Friday evening with 11 people. It was supposed to be a nice evening in memory of my mother, she often celebrated her birthdays there with her friends (with the previous owner). The waiter was a disaster, he was constantly busy with his cell phone and behaved in a way that was very damaging to business. He didn't ask for any further requests, drinks, replacing burned-out candles, no cutlery (fish cutlery?)......... A waiter with no know-how and also completely listless. There were 7 people in the restaurant at 2 other tables. Older guests from the next table had to go to the counter three times to order more drinks because the waiter ignored them. 6 of us ordered pan fish, the fried potatoes and the mustard sauce were cold, one type of fish tasted musty (cheap fish from poor fish farming?) We would have been happy with a bowl of hot potatoes. Instead there was a caraway (not grappa or similar) for everyone, I know this habit from the hearty Greek next door, in my opinion it doesn't fit in a restaurant like this. An espresso would have been nice for the drivers. In the end it wasn't possible to print out an invoice, I basically paid "blindly". The invoice should come by email, let's see... Nothing has come so far. I would like to give 0 stars, unfortunately that is not possible. The entire evening was very unpleasant for my guests!!!

We live only 1km from the restaurant and it is within easy walking distance for us. We were there on Saturday afternoon with 5 adults and sat at the table right in front of the drinks counter. There were only 6 tables occupied outside and 2 inside. There were three of them, two in service and one behind the counter. We had to get up three times and ask the fussing waiter if he could please bring us a card because he couldn't come to the table he had pushed together for us. After 17 minutes we finally had tickets. He had to steal them from other guests outside because they didn't have enough of them. After 29 minutes, no one was willing to take an order, not even for drinks. We then left because we had reasonable concerns that it would take even longer to eat. The other guests who had already ordered outside sat around for quite a long time without receiving anything. This was the third time this summer/fall that the service was poorly organized and slow. That doesn't do justice to the good location of the restaurant, but it seems to be due to the management not having a good handle on the place. We have heard similar experiences from many neighbors who are already avoiding the restaurant.

Wir haben an einem regnerischen Tag draußen gesessen. Andere Gäste haben uns sofort darauf aufmerksam gemacht, daß wir zum Bestellen besser reingehen sollten. Das hat dann auch gut funktioniert. Kuchenauswahl sehr gering, 2 Sorten, aber lecker. Bei der Getränkenachbestellung im Café konnte sich die Bedienung nicht vom Handy lösen. Alles in allem aber für uns ok.

Draußen haben wir in der Abendsonne den Kakao und die Ruhe genossen. Tipp: zum Bestellen an den Tresen gehen.

Man sitzt auch Innen schön mit Blick auf die Elbe. Der Service ist zwar freundlich, hat aber keine Ahnung wie Besteck oder Gläser angeordnet werden. Von welcher Seite serviert wird ist egal. In Anbetracht der Preise, die hier aufgerufen werden ist dies unverzeihlich. Das Essen selbst ist nicht besonders raffiniert. Ein Salat mit Ziegenkäse ist eben nur dies und nicht mehr. Der Pan Fisch wurde lange warm gehalten, überzeugt aber auch nicht.

Schöne Sonnenterrasse, Auswahl an kleinen herzhaften Speisen leider sehr dürftig, Service eher unfreundlich und überfordert.

Hab einen gr. Cappuccino und den Kaiserschmarren für eine Person bestellt und auf der Terrasse gesessen. Die erste Kellnerin kam nach knapp 10 min. und hat mich direkt nach der Begrüßung auch wieder vergessen. Der zweite Kellner kam nach weiteren knapp 10 min., hat mir immerhin die Karte gebracht und mich dann aber auch vergessen. Nach weiteren 7-8 min hab ich erneut auf mich aufmerksam gemacht, woraufhin Kellner Nummer zwei meine Bestellung aufnahm. Wieder ein paar min später kam Kellner Nummer drei, der dachte ich wäre gerade erst gekommen. Der Cappuccino kam in normaler Zeit, war aber nicht groß…. Ca. 0,2 liter. Wie sieht bloß ein kleiner aus?! Der Kaiserschmarren war gut, die Vanilleeiskugel war allerdings nur Vanillesoße. Eis war wohl alle. Insgesamt also ein totaler Reinfall. Die Preise sind leider im Verhältnis zum Service und dem was man bekommt, nicht gerechtfertigt. Und das bei dieser absoluten Top Lage….

Sehr leckeres, frisch zubereitetes Essen, gut portioniert und geschmackvoll angerichtet, mit sehr schöner Aussicht auf die Elbe. Der Fachkräftemangel führt dazu, dass wir etwas warten mussten. Dafür kam das Essen heiß und auf den Tisch. Besonders zu empfehlen: der Kaiserschmarren zum Nachtisch.

Wir waren nach einer Trauerfeier mit 12 Leuten im Restaurant und saßen im Innenraum. Alle haben Hauptgerichte bestellt. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam aber angenehm zurückhaltend. Das Essen ist bei allen Beteiligten gut angekommen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die knusprigen Bratkartoffeln, den leckeren Fisch und den selbstgemachten Pflaumenkuchen. Das Ambiente an der Elbe ist wunderschön. Danke!

Das Essen war nicht gut, die Nudeln weichgekocht, die Zutaten nicht frisch, fade gewürzt. Der Service war so lala, schon bemüht, aber auch nicht mehr. Die Aussicht direkt an der Elbe dagegen ist atemberaubend. Wer also selbige genießen möchte, der sollte hier etwas trinken. Gesamtbewertung daher leider nur zwei Sterne.
