We were there for the second time. Food was good as usual. Not top class but you can eat well here. Ambiance is nice. The decorations were now just Christmassy. And it’s just Riehl. The average age of the guests was estimated to be around 60. Staff very polite and friendly. But attention could be better. In addition, the employees were always extremely hectic and abrupt at the table. Unfortunately, this takes away a lot of the cozy atmosphere. The price of the card is extremely fair.

We were here for the first time. It was “crammed full”. We were 4 people. The boss personally took our order, didn't write anything down, remembered everything in her head. The food came after a relatively short time. We enjoyed everything very much. We had 2 pasta dishes, 1 fish, 1 turkey breast - everything was great. We even treated ourselves to desserts. Friendly patient service; despite a well-occupied dining room. Very few dishes labeled as vegan (soup, fries). I ordered the No. 43 - tagliatelle veggie without the feta cheese; tasted very tasty.

Very very cool. You can't tell from the outside, but it's very, very good, reasonably priced food. Service great, toilet clean. It's not like that in some high-class restaurants. Come back!!!!

We traditionally celebrate our birthdays in the gourmet garden plus spontaneous visits. It's always a day to remember. Hopefully this restaurant will stay around for a long time.

There's nothing you can do here except give it 5 stars. What appears to be a rather inconspicuous little hut from the outside shows its best side from the inside. The ambience, service and especially the food were really great. We will be happy to come back the next time we visit Cologne. ☺️

The place opens at 16:00, I recommend you make a reservation, it may be full. The restaurant does not accept credit cards, they only accept cash. A place in beautiful gardens. The food was amazing, really nice. There is a parking lot outside. If you come by car, you will not have any parking problems. We ate steak with mushroom sauce and it was truly delicious.

I visited the Schlemergarten with two work colleagues. Quite hidden, it is located in a quiet camping and garden area, which is also accessible to external visitors. The prices are very affordable, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. When the weather is nice, the ambience is extremely calm and peaceful. Be sure to try the turkey schnitzel! This is really tender and tasty. You can't complain about the price of the 0.2er Kölsch. Definitely an insider tip!

The ambience of the restaurant is very appealing for a garden restaurant, clear and well-kept. The service was friendly, attentive, quick and targeted despite the stress. The food was home-style, simply generous and had an explosive taste, e.g. small farmer's salad - feta cheese (melted on the tongue, tasted like honey, light and, above all, enjoyable, the salad was fresh and crunchy). The Bauerschnitzel was hot and the fried potatoes as a side dish enhanced the taste of the schnitzel without damaging the taste of the schnitzel. The evening was a successful trip to the common kitchen!

Update 22.11.2023 Wieder einmal ein perfektes Gänseessen!! Lieben Dank dafür! Es gibt ja Momente, da wird man so richtig überrascht. Was erwartet man wenn man im Restaurant einer Kleingarten Anlage essen geht!? Erstmal nicht so viel, eher Fastfood oder ähnliches. Also waren wir dort (zur Firmenweihnachtsfeier) ohne jede Erwartung! Und wir wurden immens überrascht! Das Essens war wirklich top! Schön angerichtet und lecker. Alles war auf den Punkt. Der Service war excellent, da kann sich so manches High class Restaurant mal eine Scheibe abschneiden. Die Location war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Okay es war mal etwas lauter aber das gehört dazu. Wir kommen AUF JEDEN FALL wieder. Superempfehlung!!!
