Very nice staff, beautifully located restaurant. I ordered cheese spaetzle with mountain cheese and onions. Onions were lukewarm and rubbery, impossible to chew. The spaetzle was swimming more in cream/sour sour cream, so that you could see the cheese threads but hardly taste them. My husband had Schnitzel Pustaart with peppers, cucumber and onions and fries. Great fries, beautifully fried, juicy schnitzel. Pustasauce consisted of sweet/sour peppers from the jar and didn't see any fresh peppers. Very unfortunate. I also think there is still room for improvement here.

We have eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied. Price-performance is excellent. One must particularly mention the friendliness of the entire team, from the boss to the service, which is unfortunately no longer a given today. We and our friends would love to come back.

Here you can sit wonderfully by the water and eat delicious food. Service is friendly and attentive. Recommended!

Like the campsite, the restaurant was also very good. Except for the bruscetta, which was fried and therefore very fatty.

The waitresses were all extremely nice and friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful, right on the Main and very idyllic. Food and drinks came very quickly. The portions are sometimes huge, but all other dishes are large enough. The sausage was good, the bread was very good, but the cabbage was nothing special. Of the four loins in the pan, one was a bit dry, but overall the pan tasted really tasty. The paprika schnitzel was a matter of taste: the sauce had a strong note of curry, as if the leftover curry sauce had been used for the sausages here. The pork medallions were tasty, but there weren't enough croquettes for me and the cream sauce was too weak. In general, it's a pretty good place to eat, but you'll most likely get better ambience than food.

Unfortunately my wife's pasta was completely overcooked. When clearing up the items were asked for, but there were no consequences in the form of an apology or a discount; the price was charged in full. Another couple asked a waitress if they could sit at another table, which was confirmed by the waitress. The second force then said that they cannot simply implement themselves. The couple said that they had asked, then the force said that if so, he would have to be asked. I think internal communication is urgently needed here, as with our food. Too bad The boss was just at our place and apologized for the inconvenience and refunded the meal. VERY BIG GESTURE!!! RESPECT and THANK YOU

You sit right by the water, it's a simple kitchen but super tasty. The meat schnitzel is of course of good quality and the fries taste fantastic.

It's a nice place for a restaurant. After about an hour of waiting, the food came. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was still partially raw. Fries were great. The waitress was terribly sorry. Unfortunately the cook was no longer there.

We have been coming to the campsite for several years now and usually eat at the Schieferturm restaurant every day. Super nice hosts, the service is always friendly and accommodating. The food is simply delicious. You spend a nice evening with friends. You feel comfortable and valued. We would just like to say thank you for the hospitality, which we have never experienced before. We are very happy that we can now count you among your friends. The innkeepers Yvonne and Armin Luckert and also the daughter are super nice people. Also worth mentioning is the young man in service, unfortunately I always forget his name. We would also like to say thank you to Maria because she always looks after us so nicely. The whole team at the Schieferturm restaurant, the whole ambience and surrounding area is just great. Dear Yvonne, dear Armin, we have taken you all into our hearts. Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars, you deserve 100 Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you.

We are thrilled! Without any premonition we ordered a table with two dogs. The super nice service brought us the drinks in a light weight. The food also came super quickly. Now about the quality of the food. When I rate it with a straight 1, I mean it like that! The price/performance is 100 percent right here. Good home-style food. Restaurant at the campsite and directly on the Main. The food was great. There are even vegetarian dishes. I think when the weather is nice it's better to call.

Went here for dinner on Sunday and was very satisfied. The food came quickly and was super tasty and plentiful. The price is appropriate for the portions. We will definitely come back to eat again to try out the extensive menu. Staff very friendly and quick. 😁👍👍👍

Wonderful restaurant on the banks of the Main near the campsite. The food is delicious German cuisine, with rich portions at attractive prices. You can sit on the terrace directly on the Main. The service is also excellent. Highly recommended.

Einer der saubersten Campingplätze die ich kenne und das sind einige die ich schon gesehen habe. Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Als Wiederholungstäter komme ich öfter und immerwieder gerne hier her.

Personeel kan je avond maken of breken, voor ons werd het een feestje. Nog nooit eerder Zanderfilet (snoekbaars) gegeten. Geen verkeerde keuze. Restaurant ligt tussen de rivier en de camping met dezelfde naam.

Als Gste des nebenan gelegenen Campingplatz haben wir die Gelegenheit zu einem Besuch genutzt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, die Speisen und Getränke lecker und schmackhaft. Wir saßen auf der terasse direkt am Main und konnten den Sonnenuntergang genießen.

Toller Biergarten direkt am Main, neben dem Eingang zum Campingplatz. Essen, Service und Getränke sind wunderbar, man sollte aber unbedingt reservieren.

Ich war mit meinen Mädels dort lecker essen . Bedienung sehr freundlich , essen sehr lecker . Wir hatten Käsespätzle ,Currywurst und ich einen leckeren Salat . Alles top . Macht weiter so . 👍

Nette Gaststätte direkt am Main und am Campingplatz. Essen gute Hausmannskost, Preise fair, Service freundlich. Während der Hauptzeit abends wäre eine weitere Kraft sinnvoll gewesen - wahrscheinlich aber im Moment ja eh nicht zu bekommen...

Die Pommes sind der knaller, bei jeder Mahlzeit. Selbsgemachter Kartoffelsalat sehr schmackhaft.

Essen ist in Ordnung, aber hat noch Luft nach oben. Für den Preis, aber alles OK und im Rahmen. Ambiente ist super, man sitzt schon am Wasser. Das ist definitiv ein Merkmal, mit welchem sonst kein anderer in KT aufwarten kann. Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, Kartenzahlung mit EC möglich. In Sichtweite ist ein toller Spielplatz für die Kinder. Parkplatz ist extrem groß, da auch Schwimmbad angenzt. Gerne wieder

Ich kann die ganzen negativen Kommentare nicht nachvollziehen. Ich war mit meiner Tochter hier essen. Die Preise waren echt gerechtfertigt für die Portionen. Sehr kinderfreundliche Mitarbeiter und wurden sofort bedient. Gerne wieder. Macht weiter so 👍

Es war trotz kurzfristiger Reservierung für 10 Leute möglich zu Abend zu essen. Die Mahlzeit war sehr lecker und schnell am Tisch. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Kann dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen!

18 Euro für ein Cordon Bleu ist eine Frechheit

Guter Service und gutes Essen was will man mehr, auch wenn ich nicht verstehe warum die Änderung von Pommes auf Kartoffelsalat 1€ Aufpreis kostet. Jedenfalls eine klare Empfehlung.

Die Lage am Main und der Service sind super. Wir haben nur ein Weißbier getrunken, deshalb können wir das Essen nicht bewerten, aber wir kommen wieder.

Saavuttiin leirintäalueelle vastaanoton sulkeutumisen jälkeen mutta tämän viereisen ravintolan henkilökunta järjesti meidät sisään kumminkin ja kestitti meidät vielä jäkeenpäin. Vaimo on keliaakikko ja ne vielä teki hänelle gluteenitonta ruokaa. 10 pistettä ja papukaijamerkki 👍🏻

Ziemlich teuer für zwar passables aber unspektakuläres essen. Als wir für 200 euro gegessen haben, regte sich die chefin auf, dass einem kind etwas pommes auf den boden gefallen war. Sie kam sogar aus dem lokal gelaufen und hat die Gruppe angeschrien. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Das Restaurant liegt am Eingang zu Campingplatz und mit Terrasse direkt am Main. Es wird alles frisch gekocht und es gibt große und leckere Portionen. Auch zum frühstücken geeignet. Abends unbedingt reservieren. Nette Bedienung, flott und auch die Küche arbeitet flott. Wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Hervorragendes Restaurant! Wir waren während unseres Aufenthaltes am Campingplatz regelmäßig im Lokal zum Essen. Je nach Sitzplatz mit herrlichem Blick auf den Main. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, deutsch-fränkische vielseitige Küche. Das Speisenangebot reicht von Fleisch- (Schwein, Rind) über Fisch- Gerichte bis hin zu vegetarischen Gerichten. Alles frisch und von hoher Qualität. Da werden auch die Schnitzel nicht in altem Öl frittiert, sondern ordentlich in der Pfanne zubereitet! Dass nicht nur wir von der Gaststätte begeistert sind, zeigt die Tatsache, dass man rechtzeitig reservieren sollte und vor allem auch, dass sich viele Einheimische (und eben nicht nur Campinggäste) dort verwöhnen lassen!

Wollte heute mal zum Essen hin Stand eine Ewigkeit beim Eingang um einen Platz zugewiesen zu bekommen - jetzt kamen 3 weitere Gäste nach mir Eine männliche Person begrüßte diese und wies Ihnen sofort einen Platz zu Mich ignorierte er und wollte weiterlaufen Ich sprach ihn an und fragte nach einem Platz Ohne sich nach einrm Platz umzusehen sagte er es ist kein Platz frei - obwohl die Bedienung gerade einen Tisch abkassierte - und weiter hinten im Biergarten zig Plätze frei waren - und auch innen war alles leer - was ist das für rin Gastronom? Von Service Null Ahnung
