It was an incredibly pleasant stay in the wonderful, cozy lounge with its fireplace. As always, the food was excellent, the service very friendly, attentive, and courteous, and the entire ambiance was unique. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Woodland Inn.

Best burger in town, great team, great food

The food is good, and the portion sizes are perhaps a bit larger than in most other restaurants. However, the overall price is a bit too high for what it delivers.

The service staff were all very polite and attentive. They regularly checked to see if everything was alright, if we were enjoying our meal, and if they could do anything else for us. The food was delicious and plentiful. We immediately felt comfortable. The restaurant is cozy and attractively decorated! The prices are also reasonable. We'll definitely be back soon!

Last week, a group of 13 of us stayed at the Woodland Inn in Kitzingen. The hotel and restaurant are located a bit outside the town center but have plenty of parking. The service was friendly and attentive, which unfortunately isn't always the case these days. We ordered a variety of dishes, including burgers, wraps, and schnitzel; our vegetarians also had plenty of options, and everything was really good. The price-performance ratio is good, and we would gladly return.

The food was very good. The order was taken quickly, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The only thing is that the wait staff could sell a few more drinks if they were more attentive to customers.

We like going to the Woodland Inn. The staff is very friendly; you're never left out in the cold. They check in several times to make sure everything's okay. There are no long waits. The value for money is also good. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy, both in summer and winter. We can happily recommend it.

We had been there before, but after our last visit we left the Woodland Inn feeling positive and full.

So where do I even begin? Making a reservation is really easy and always works perfectly. The staff is super cool, very competent, and super friendly. The food is amazing. The steaks are always exactly as I ordered and sooo delicious. The kitchen is amazing. The food always comes very quickly, and you don't have to wait long. The place itself is decorated really well. If you haven't been here yet, you've missed out on one of the best restaurants there is, in my opinion. I'm always happy to come back. Thank you for being here :) And no, I haven't only been there once. I've had three family celebrations with 10+ people, and everyone was happy. Christmas dinner with my employees was also great, and the four times I've been with the family were always fantastic. It's NOT a fancy place, but exactly what it's supposed to be, in my opinion. And the people who work there are always normal. It's normal for things to get a little chaotic sometimes, and it's just human nature. If you ask nicely, you win ;) Just a tip.

I was with your restaurant yesterday with my wife. We looked at the menu, ordered, and waited. Then "my" burger arrived. Unfortunately, it was the wrong one. The nice waitress asked me if I had ordered that, which I clearly denied. Then my wife's burger arrived, and the waitress with the same burger said, "I can offer you two options. Either you take the burger as it is and I'll give you a free drink, or we'll add another party drink." From the restaurant manager's point of view, she handled it cleverly, as I felt I had no other choice and couldn't have the burger I had ordered. She only came with the free drink because I ordered the double burger, and they probably didn't want a cancellation at the till. I tried to stay positive despite everything, even though my wife had her already cold burger in front of her and had eaten it, I waited. After 4-8 minutes, my burger arrived. It was dry as hell, completely overcooked, with Emmental cheese on top - I HATE EMMENTAL. Some people think, "Well, you shouldn't have ordered this." I DIDN'T! Without the sauces at the table, I wouldn't have been able to eat it at all. But I didn't want to be the reason something went wrong again, so I kept quiet, ate the burger, stood up, paid, and left. It's such a shame. The concept, the ambiance, the location, and the ingredients are all first-class, but last night has honestly put me off coming back. I was really looking forward to your burger, and that only made the disappointment even greater. Suggesting to me that I had no choice but to accept the wrong burger was a huge mistake. The first time I said, "No, that's not my burger." They should start setting things right right away. Last night was a total disaster for me. Because my wife and I both work, we only have this one day a month, and yesterday it was really ruined for me. You're still giving it stars because I saw from my wife's burger that you can do it, but when it comes to dealing with guests when YOU make YOUR OWN mistakes, you simply have to do better.

The food is very good and it arrived very quickly. But you should definitely come hungry, as the portions are quite large.

This was our first time at your restaurant. The ambiance is very nice and the staff attentive. The burgers were good, the sodas were okay but the iced tea had too much syrup and was much too sweet. The salad was very good. The spare ribs, however, are a disaster. For a restaurant that specializes in American dishes, there is a lot of room for improvement. They were dry and the mush smeared on them was definitely not a marinade. They were also certainly not prepared properly as you would expect from spare ribs. Please improve this. We would be happy to come back, although we would be better off ordering burgers. The air in the dining room is also very stuffy and becomes very unpleasant after a while. Perhaps we should open the windows or install an air vent. We often go out and enjoy high-quality food and are willing to pay a reasonable price for good quality and good service. However, everything has to be right. I hope the criticism is perceived as constructive and motivates us to make improvements.

We had a reservation for a family celebration. A free drink was a nice gesture. The server unfortunately brought us to our table without greeting us; a proper refresher course for the students would be appropriate, and not only here. Our seat: A dark "basement room with construction work on the ceiling, hastily taped off with painter's tape." Very cramped, table after table, and it smelled of grease. The burgers barely had any lettuce, the schnitzel was very thickly breaded and then, unfortunately, fried really dark, and the meat was dry. Regional products have their quality and their price—yes—but they definitely deserve better processing. Hmmm, too bad... not going there anymore... unfortunately, we can't recommend it...

The chicken was really raw, and after two men came to check if I was right, they didn't do anything about it. There were plenty of people coming, so they just let the one who complained off the hook. Never, ever again.

The included side dish (grilled vegetables, three peppers and a couple of zucchini) and a small piece of baguette were definitely not enough, so you're forced to order an additional side dish. The ambiance is really lovely. The outdoor area is very spacious.

Compared to last time, the portions have increased in line with the price, and it was once again very tasty! Unfortunately, the wraps were only moderately warm. We really like it there, although the lighting could be a bit brighter. :)

The ambiance, the food, and the service are truly recommendable. My only complaint is the noise from the mixer at the bar and the chairs being moved back and forth. Just put felt pads under the chair legs, and that would solve the problem.

We had a car breakdown and were put up in a neighboring hotel. They said we could get something to eat and drink in the beer garden. But it was already 9:40 p.m. At first, they didn't want to give us anything else because the kitchen was already closed and they were about to close. Even when we explained that we'd been on the road since this morning, had a car breakdown and hadn't eaten or drunk anything for hours, it wasn't until the boss came that they at least gave us a drink. As we sat there, exhausted and despondent after such a strenuous day, enjoying our drinks, the boss, a young man, came and brought us lovingly made bread and small Danish pastries. We were so overwhelmed by this attention that our eyes grew teary-eyed. There are still good people on this planet. We hope that karma rewards him for this. A thousand thanks again to the young man whose name we unfortunately don't know. But he knows who I'm talking about. THANK YOU

Great ambiance, the lights in the evening create a great atmosphere, friendly service, and the finest meat (Tomahawk steak). It was a delight; even after almost 1,000 grams, the last bite was still satisfying. This dish is worth every cent!

The residents were great. It's a great atmosphere. It just smelled a bit like a sewer.

Just picked up 3 spare ribs and 1 BBQ platter for €75.70. I've never had anything so bad from a restaurant! The BBQ platter had extremely dry pulled pork, the spare ribs were just as dry and tasted strongly of curry, and I didn't even try the chicken thigh because it looked so disgustingly dry. The BBQ platter also came with a coleslaw salad, but given the amount (one tablespoon) of salad, they could have done without it. The whole thing wasn't worth €5; it should have been thrown away and not sold to customers. I'm extremely disappointed and won't eat there again.

A beautiful place, a beautiful location. We also enjoyed our meal there several times. The last visit was very disappointing. The Coke Zero was served warm, without ice. Upon request, more ice was served without any problem. The second Coke Zero was the same, warm again, without ice. The children's burger we ordered was served on a very large plate, with the hamburger placed in the middle of the plate. Without any decorative gesture or any loving gesture for the child. The pulled pork burger we ordered was placed just as carelessly on the plate, without "anything." It seemed as if the server had stolen the plate from the chef before it was ready. Unfortunately, the burger was a dry lump of meat, inedible, even with the ketchup placed at the table. We were very disappointed and hope this visit was a one-off disappointment.
