The vegetable platter with chicken strips was a dream. The food is very...delicious. We've been here several times. The pizza is amazing, and the pasta dishes are always delicious, too. The staff is super friendly.

A huge compliment to our waitress, who was very child-friendly, personable, super nice, attentive, and accommodating. We've rarely experienced such outstanding service with our little daughter. The food was excellent, the portions were huge, and we were super full and happy 🤗

The restaurant is very well located, and the atmosphere and decor are very nice. The food is delicious, both the daily specials and the à la carte dishes. The servers are very friendly. Only the beer was at room temperature.

We wanted ice cream and had to wait quite a long time, even though only one other table was occupied. Four more people then came and asked to sit at the table next to us. We were then rudely asked to move our chairs. The group then sat down somewhere else. A short time later, an employee yelled ironically at us from across the restaurant: "Thanks for your back!" Customer service is different!

The restaurant was constantly overcrowded and the service staff were stressed out. We felt like we were in a mass-production facility. Some of the food was quite bland. The minestrone was like vegetable broth, drenched in thyme. The tagliatelle tasted only of garlic and Parmesan, and the spinach had no flavor at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't our choice, as we prefer a relaxed, unhurried meal and had different expectations based on the reviews.

I like the vibe, the food and the service in the restaurant. I went there for lunch out of curiosity and it was great so I went back the following day and reserved a table for dinner because the restaurants in the area tend to be full packed during dinner. I was relieved that I booked a table because the whole experience was amazing. I have never been to Italy and it makes me want to go there and taste the REAL Italian cuisine.

Particularly noteworthy is the friendly staff, who apparently don't change constantly (I've seen the same people three years in a row). Everyone knows what to do. The food is also, of course, excellent.

We went there in the evening for pizza. People were queuing, waiting for tables to open. The restaurant was completely full, but tables gradually became available, and we only had to wait a few minutes. Despite the crowd, the staff were super friendly and cheerful. They even took the time to chat. The pizza was incredibly delicious! Nicely seasoned and juicy. The mixed salad was also good. Absolutely excellent value for money! There was also an ice cream counter and delicious desserts. However, they didn't fit in because of the large pizza 😁 Highly recommended!

The restaurant is great ! The best view to the lake & mountain, It’s best Italian restaurant in Germany. I highly recommended it. We ate spaghetti bolognese, lasagna, pizza and a plate of 3 different meats, plus cappuccinos and tiramisu. Everything was delicious . Great server, he was always checking if we needed something. We ate here twice on our current vacation, and again four years ago. We are completely satisfied and thrilled with the food and service. The food was truly delicious, and the service is "on the mark." San Marco really has everything under control. The portions are huge and the prices are absolutely fair. Definitely a recommendation. Last night, we spontaneously had the idea of some delicious Italian food. It worked. We were very impressed by the San Marco restaurant. All the dishes were prepared with the utmost care. The ingredients used were consistently fresh and appetizingly presented. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The seasonings were delicate and imaginative. The portions were sufficiently large and attractively presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and even in stressful situations (a heavy thunderstorm was brewing), they acted precisely and always kept an overview. Compliments to the entire team. A visit is definitely worth it, and you should treat yourself to the pleasure of discovering this high-quality restaurant for yourself.

Actually, a pretty nice Italian restaurant. The service was excellent, very friendly and quick – a real pleasure. But the ice cream served was practically an insult to the famous Italian ice cream. Lots of cream, lots of little cookies in it, and where was my ice cream? Some strange liquid that was supposed to be 'amareno' and ice cream? Neither I nor my wife could find any in the Black Forest cup. So, things need to improve.

We ordered pizza to go. It came pretty quickly. The pizza had plenty of toppings and tasted great. The price was reasonable, too.

We came here for dinner with the kids, and I have to say, I haven't been served so kindly in years. The waiter has a good sense of humor, and is extremely kind. Special orders for the kids were no problem. The food was very good, and he even offered me a free espresso at the end. If only it were like this everywhere in restaurants...

The menu lists pizza bread as €5.40. The bill then shows €6.90 for a large pizza bread. This wasn't stated anywhere on the menu! When I asked, they said, "Then just take the euro" (which would have been €1.50). A complete rip-off, and the man was also very unfriendly.

We just ordered a pizza and a pasta dish to take out. The pasta dish consisted of 90% cheese and 10% pasta, and unfortunately, it didn't taste good. The pizza also didn't taste good; the dough didn't look fresh. Unfortunately, we can't understand an average rating of 4.7 at all. The food wasn't good.

If you like your food served in dirty dishes, this is the place for you, and discussions about whether the white wine is really cold are pointless.

Authentic Italian cuisine with a conservatory feel. Truly delicious pizza! Dogs are also welcome. A nice place to stop if you're looking for something to eat near the lake.

It's a very typical touristic restaurant so don't expect anything out of the world if that's what you are looking for. The food is on the safe side with all the pasta and some meat dish we got. Service is pretty standard in DE, don't expect anything amazing and just say what you want.

The noise level is quite high. My lasagna and salad were excellent. The drink was a flop, as the shandy was served lukewarm. I suspect a warm glass was used.

The ambiance actually deserved another star, as the restaurant is well located and decorated. Nevertheless, I had to deduct one star. Reason: the service A waitress frequently shouted throughout the restaurant just to chat with colleagues. This made the experience very unpleasant. This happened more than once. I'd normally order pizza again anytime, but I'd rather order takeout.

We stayed in an apartment. Super clean, spacious, with a winter garden. So you could sit outside whatever the weather. Everything you need was there. If there's anything to complain about, it's the view. The lake was just around the corner. But what room is perfect? ​​Still, it's worth 5 stars for me. In short: I'd go back anytime. And the restaurant, simply delicious. Only the rigatoni al forno is a letdown. But that's always a matter of taste. The highlight is the friendly staff. Despite the huge stress, they're always cheerful and stop by to ask how your day was. The breakfast buffet also has everything you could need. I can only recommend San Marco.

An unforgettable stay – stunning views, divine food, and warm service We were fortunate enough to spend a few days at this wonderful hotel – and what can we say: It was simply perfect! The view was breathtaking – whether from the room, the terrace, or the restaurant, you could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings everywhere. The food was absolutely top-notch! From breakfast to dinner, everything was prepared with love – regional, fresh, and with a special touch. Every course was a delight. A very special compliment goes to the entire staff: so warm, attentive, and accommodating – we felt welcome from the very first moment. And our dachshund Susi... she was treated like a little princess! A friendly welcome everywhere, always pampered with fresh water, and even a blanket at dinner – top-notch! We will definitely be back and can recommend this hotel from the bottom of our hearts – a true paradise for both humans and four-legged friends.

We came to have some light dinner at the evening and we're sitted right away. Great atmosphere and nice food with a lot of options. Our order came quite fast but at the end our waiter forgot about last dish we ordered and after quite a time we had to remind him. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with his service, instead of just apologize (which would be the end of such story) that young guy tried to blame us!!! And he told us that that we were rude to him for expressing politely our opinion. I guess his boss needs to teach him how to talk to his customers. If not a such thing we would give a 5 stars review.

We stayed for two nights. The room was nice and clean, with a lake view. It wasn't suitable for allergy sufferers. They used a lot of chemicals to clean it, and it took at least a day until it was somewhat bearable. Unfortunately, we were turned away from the restaurant at 8:30 p.m. because we wanted something to drink. The reason given was that it closed at 9:30 p.m., and they recommended the hotel bar next door. At 10:30 p.m., guests were still being served when we returned. It's hard to understand. It's a shame.

Fish soup very rich and tasty. Linguini with prawns: Terrible: Shrimp of the smallest variety, more dried tomatoes than pasta, caper apples missing. Ambience: plastic flowers. Staff very friendly. Wine selection ok.

We were out and about again, today on Maundy Thursday. We have been here since Tuesday and unfortunately only chose this restaurant today. Absolutely full points, totally deserved. Prices are not excessive at all and the quality is more than satisfactory. We can only recommend this restaurant. Anyone who wants to eat like they do on the Mediterranean will be most likely to be reminded of this. The service and the ambience are also all harmonious and go hand in hand. We've been to Hopfensee so many times now, but this was the first time at the Italian restaurant. That certainly wasn't the last time. We were thrilled. With wonderful weather in the winter garden right by the open window, we had lunch before our journey home. The food was delicious and so plentiful that we couldn't finish it. The waiter was super friendly and we felt really comfortable. All of this directly with a view of the lake and the mountains. A clear recommendation.
