Restaurant Saigon in Karlsruhe

This is my first time ordering food here and I'm sure it will stay that way. This is the first wok that you can be sure won't boil.

The food is really good for the price and the portions are definitely filling. I always like to come here when I want something cheap for dinner.

The ambience is certainly not the most wonderful, but you will find extremely tasty food here for reasonable money. The portions are reasonable and are brought to you quickly and quickly. The service is okay, sometimes you have to wait a bit. There are a lot of self-collectors, which sometimes seems to stress the service. Overall, the price-performance ratio is right here, which is why I'm happy to give it four stars.

Super fast service, friendly staff and fair price for this delicious/well prepared food. I was there with my girlfriend and we were in a hurry. The extremely friendly gentleman at the counter reassured us and said the food would be ready quickly. What felt like 5 minutes later everything was on the table and beautifully prepared. The peanut sauce was the best I've ever tasted. The rice was beautifully served in the shape of a flower and there were “fresh” vegetables on the plate (I think I had number 69). The mini spring rolls and a vegetarian pasta dish were very tasty and beautifully presented. I would be happy to recommend you to everyone!

Price performance unbeatable. Very humane prices. I was there for dinner and would love to go back tomorrow.

I was looking for food near my hostel and found it here. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, the restaurant surprised us with a cozy atmosphere inside and very, very tasty food. I was full and was very happy with the dish I chose.

Small Asian bistro located on a busy street. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Food is freshly prepared and tastes quite good.

Disappointing. I let myself be discouraged by the many positive reviews. Jasmine tea as a tea bag from a teapot, strange in an Asian restaurant. It tasted almost like nothing, probably overshadowed. Chop Suey relatively bland. The portion was sufficient and the price was also okay. The owner is moderately friendly. I won't visit this restaurant again

Very nice restaurant located in the center of the city in Karlsruhe. The prices are very reasonable and the portion is great. The restaurant is family run and are very humble and nice people. Multiple vegetarian options and also customizable.

Good Vietnamese food and decent sushi available at fairly reasonable prices. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Sadly, the summer rolls do not come with the hoisin or peanut sauce, and they don’t have it if you ask for them. It comes with a sugary fish sauce. The Pho was good! Could have stronger flavor, but there was plenty of beef and noodles inside. The sushi portions were on point. Fish to rice ratio ok. Sushi rice was acceptable, unlike most restaurants in Karlsruhe that often tend to overcook it, or underseason it with mirin. Nice and friendly service but sometimes it takes them a while to cash you out when they get even just a little busy, so be sure to pay once you have ordered all of your items if you’re there for lunch during the work day, or have somewhere else to be. Payment accepted only in cash. Easy to get to by the Mathystr tram stop. Bike parking available. Small stairs at the entrance, so a bit challenging for wheelchairs without help. Available for dine in, take out, and delivery.

Es hat super geschmeckt, auch eine große Portion. Knuspriges Hühnchen selten besser gegessen als hier. Auch der Wein war gut. Vielen Dank 😊😊😊

Leckere asiatische Küche zu sehr günstigen Preisen sehr zu empfehlen für etwas leckeres für zwischendurch die portionsgrößen sind sehr groß wodurch ein Gericht durchaus mal auch zwei Tage als Mittagessen hält. Die Zubereitung ist frisch und relativ schnell fertig sodass man auch in einer Mittagspause sich etwas to go holen kann. Absolute Empfehlung

Este restaurante, más que vietnamita diríamos, que es un pseudo asiático de estos que últimamente crecen como setas en todas partes. De vietnamita auténtico tiene bastante poco, con salsas de paquete y platos bastante poco auténticos. Tuvimos que recurrir a él en una emergencia, ya que tuvimos que comer un poco a deshoras, y en ese momento sí que no salvo ya que tienen un horario muy abierto. Pero la verdad es que la comida deja un poquitín que desear, es para llenarse la barriga rápido.

Nur noch halbe Portionen. Schade war immer lecker. Aber 11 € für eine halbe Portion geht gar nicht.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, das Personal ist freundlich und die Zubereitung geht ausseroderdentlich schnell. Ich nehme mein Essen dort immer zum Mitnehmen. Leider ist hier nur Barzahlung möglich.

Schöner, aber schlicht eingerichteter Imbiss. Man kann auch vor Ort essen, Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tische sind vorhanden. Freundliche und nette Bedienung. Das Gericht wurde frisch zubereitet und sehr gut verpackt. Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker und vor allem sehr gut gewürzt. Schnelle Zubereitung und leckere Gerichte, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Sehr lecker. Die Preise sind leider mittlerweile überall gestiegen, da kann man nichts machen. Die Qualität aber ist geblieben. Nummer 31 ist so groß, dass ich - und ich bestelle immer zum Mitnehmen - zweimal davon satt werde.

Ein kleines Bistro mit einer Theke an welcher man bestellen kann. Die Dame da ist sehr freundlich. Das Pho Bo war eines der besten, das ich je hatte. Im Bistro selbst war es etwas frisch, was ein Tee aber wieder wett machte. Ich kann ein Besuch sehr empfehlen. Als Randnotiz: Man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen.

Gute Auswahl, Essen ist schmackhaft und preislich angemessen. Gastraum mit bequemen Sitzmöbel, Sanitärbereich ordentlich und sauber. 👍

Bodenständiger Asiate mit Kultstatus. Die dickflüssige Erdnusssoße ist die beste in Karlsruhe (Nr. 96, Nr. 106 etc.) An einem regnerischen Sonntag zum Mitnehmen auf die Couch bestellen, herrlich!

Bin heute zufällig in der Nähe. Das gut bewertete asiatische Bistro hat mich wieder Mal angezogen,obwohl es mein drittes Pho Bo diese Woche ist. Suppe ist köstlich aber mit Chiliöl gewürzt. Ich glaube es entspricht nicht dem originalen Rezept. Das Rindfleisch ist zart aber schmeckt nicht ganz frisch. Die Bedienung schnell und freundlich.

Unglaublich leckeres vietnamesisches Essen und die sehr freundliche Bedienung durch die Inhaberin machen das Saigon zu einem Highlight unter den Karlsruher Take-Aways! Die hausgemachten Sommerrollen sind wahnsinnig lecker und alle Gerichte sind immer frisch zubereitet!

Vi kom der ind af nød, da vi ikke kunne få bord andre steder, det skulle vise sig at det var heldigt, vi fik rigtig dejligt mad og rigeligt af den, det blev serveret med et smil og hurtig betjening. Vi har nu været der 2 gange på en uge og ender nok også med en tredje gang:-)

Following our second day in the city, we decided to try an Asian restaurant closed to city center. The family was really hungry after a long walk in the city center. The restaurant is small (8 tables max) and from outside it does not look that good. The surprise was inside. We ordered 2 half (children) plates (duck and chicken) , a Pho Bo and a vegetarian plate. Food portions are huge. Even the half portions are like normal. The Pho Bo was really tasty and fresh made. Nothing to complain about food. Fresh, tasty and real value for money restaurant. The only complaint is the lack of accepting credit cards.

Preis-Leistung ganz hervorragend. Sehr schmackhafte Gerichte und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten.

Bedienungen sind freundlich, das Ambiente ist ok, aber nichts besonderes. Ich gehe trotzdem immer wieder gerne hin. Die Suppen sind ganz große Klasse!

Wanted to eat asian not too far from the railway station and found this resto here on TripAdvisor. Had a nice stroll for about 10/15 min and Saigon wok was well worth it! Menu in english and staff also having an ok knowledge of english so no problem to interpret their menu. I tried their bun cha, having the ones I tried in Vietnam fresh on my mind/taste buds ; ) And I must say that Saigon Woks bun cha came close regarding taste and freshness. The youngest had an ordinary noodle wok which was perfect for him since he doesn't like anything too spicy. My husband had the chop suey not being disappointed either! And the portions were large and the process more than reasonble - so all good! We can really recommend this place for a quick asian meal in Karlsruhe.

We were there on a friday evening and were surprised by the good quality of the vietnamese food. Outside and inside it's not really an "eye catcher" - but the food was tasty and the price alright. So we will be coming back.

Leider eine Enttäuschung. Nach dem Essen war mir regelrecht elend. Glutamat in jedem Essen. Die Soße gleich Pudding. Da hilft der kleine Preis auch nicht.

家庭式餐廳，乾淨而且安靜，食物份量適中， 雖是越南料理，但也有炒飯與湯麵等選擇，而且很可口，越式牛肉河粉超好吃，在寒冷的晚上能有一碗熱呼呼的亞洲食物真是太感謝了！價錢也很合理，不管是自己一人或是與朋友共享都很適合。也很適合想嚐鮮的歐美人士。

Ich komme immer wieder gerne und kann die Thai-Ente mit scharfer Kokosmilch wärmstens empfehlen. Dazu ein großes Warsteiner. Das ganze für 10,10€ ! Echt klasse
