The meat they used for the kubideh kebab was not fresh and had an unpleasant smell. Also, the quantity of rice was very small compared to the price and other Iranian restaurants.

It was something unexpectedly beautiful, very tasty food, it was the first time I ate such delicious dishes, meat, yogurt, lemonade with saffron, rice with saffron and even tiramisu. I recommend everyone to come here if you are in Kassel, or even passing through.

A long-planned Sunday trip to the Safran restaurant. I love Persian cuisine and am happy to have new taste experiences. My expectations were more than met! We ordered "the journey through Persia" for 2 people. Very tasty, juicy meat skewers with saffron rice and the obligatory grilled tomato. I would like to highlight the starter of Zeytun Paraweh olives marinated in personal hogweed & garlic with chopped walnuts and pomegranate syrup. The side dish Kashke Bademjan was also new for us. pureed grilled eggplant with Personalized yogurt and fried mint. Delicious! Also worth mentioning The greeting from the kitchen at the beginning - flatbread with herbs, sheep's cheese and mild onion. The refreshing yogurt drink is recommended. دوغ. The restaurant is a family business and the boss and employees are very friendly. It was served very quickly. Since we had our 2 dogs with us, we had to sit outside. I would like some decoration or Placemats or something similar were desired - it was a bit very "reduced". Since the food was more than plentiful, we came back after a walk to enjoy the delicious saffron-pistachio misu. This time without dogs in the guest room. Small and fine. I was at Safran for the first time today and tried out the dishes. It was a culinary festival. When butter-tender lamb can be cut up with a fork, the rice is aromatic, finely seasoned and mixed with the delicious sauce and develops into a taste explosion in your mouth, then you know: I'll be back! We were greeted very friendly and escorted to the place, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The ambience looks cozy, bright but also romantic. The food is also a 10/10. The starter plate is highly recommended. The dessert was also a highlight 🤤. We had a saffron/pistachio teramisu. We would be very happy to come back again.💜💜

Das persische Restaurant hat mich mit seiner authentischen Atmosphäre, herzlichen Gastfreundschaft und vor allem den köstlichen Gerichten beeindruckt. Der Service war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt eine unvergessliche gastronomische Reise, die ich jedem empfehlen kann, der die Vielfalt der persischen Küche in höchster Qualität erleben möchte.

Wir waren das erste Mal persisch essen. Es war super. Sehr entspannte, angenehme Atmosphäre, super nett, freundlich, zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen beschrieb mein durchaus kritischer 10jähriger so: Das Essen ist sooo lecker. Meine Zunge tanzt. Schöner kann ich es nicht ausdrücken 🫶🏻

Essen war lecker, waren satt. Da es kurz vor Weihnachten ist und die Stadt sehr voll war, war ses ziemlich voll.

Sehr schönes kleines Lokal. Essen ist frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr lecker. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Der erste Eindruck von außen war erstmal neutral, es stach nicht besonders heraus, hat sich aber auch nicht versteckt. Innen waren ein paar Tische, generell spärlich gedeckt. Man wurde nicht mit einem "Hallo" begrüßt, sondern mit "Wie viele Personen?". Ungünstig. Außerdem war drinnen eine Familie, schien zu den Inhabern zu gehören. Die Babys dieser Familie schrien ununterbrochen, dies trägt auch nicht gerade zum wohlfühlen bei. Die Getränke kamen rasch, das Essen kam ca. Nach 20 min. Die Vorspeise war etwas ungünstig angerichtet mit einer ganzen Zwiebel auf dem Teller. Noch wurde nicht gesagt, wie man das jetzt essen soll. Auch etwas schade. Serviert wurden die Hauptspeisen mit Reis. Dazu jeweils ein Fleischspieß. Das Essen war geschmacklich hervorragend, auch die Kleinigkeiten wie die angemachten Zwiebeln, Oliven und Tomaten. Der Preis auf die Rechnung war allerdings genauso saftig wie das Fleisch. Ich war kurz verwirrt, ob ich jetzt bei Frank Rosin oder im Safran war. Drei Personen, 100€ - das ist eine Ansage, auch 2023. Alles in allem deshalb drei Sterne.

.. zum Nachtisch unbedingt das Safranmisu bestellen! Hier kommt man auch als Veggi bei allen Gängen voll auf seine Kosten. So lecker - immer wieder gerne!

Wir sind begeistert und kommen gerne wieder

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und hatten zur Vorspeise eine tolle Auswahl an leckeren Kleinigkeiten. Die Hauptspeisen, vor allem das Zereshk Polo ba Morgh, waren eine absolute Wucht und sehr reichlich. Die Weinauswahl hat ebenso überzeugt und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Wir wurden sehr gut bedient. Unser Kellner hat unsere Vorspeisen gewählt und wir waren mega happy.

Das ist wirklich das beste persische Restaurant, was wir bisher besucht haben! Wir kommen regelmäßig hier her und die Qualität und der Service sind immer sehr gut. Heute haben wir eine neue Nachspeise ausprobiert: Safran-Tiramisu. Ein Traum 🥰 habe ich noch nie so in der Art irgendwo gegessen. Aber auch die Hauptspeisen sind sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr leckere authentische persische Küche und immer wenn ich in Kassel bin, versuche ich zumindest einmal dort zu essen! Was mich freut ist, dass sie die Qualität nach mehrer Jahren immernoch konstant gehalten haben! Kann ich nur empfehlen! Falls ihr am Wochenende dort essen gehen wollt dann lieber reservieren!
