Very tasty food and super friendly staff can only recommend

It was very nice, the food was so delicious. Definitely not the last time I've been here.

At least in the cities I visited, the Safran Restaurant in Kassel is unrivaled among Iranian restaurants. It impresses with excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding quality.

Very good and authentic Persian food. The meat is very tasty and generously portioned. Absolutely recommended!

On the weekend you should reserve a table, especially if you want to eat with several people. Very nice and friendly welcome and a very good recommendation for the menu. All questions were answered nicely, friendly and with a smile. The food was very good. For starters we had Kashke Bademhan with a side dish of Babaghanoosh and Zeytun Parwardeh. With the “greetings from the kitchen” that was more than enough for us. For dessert there was saffron ice cream and faludeh. We were very skeptical about the latter. I know glass noodles from Asian cuisine, but not as a dessert and even less frozen. In short, the taste is amazing. An experience. Definitely even better and more refreshing in summer. Great restaurant, we will definitely come back. I still have to try the main courses.

Overall, a fantastic culinary experience – I will definitely be back and can fully recommend the restaurant!

Note: A small point of criticism concerns the Kashke Bademjan, which I didn't find to be particularly authentic. Very tasty and the spices are very special

Today we ate at the Safran restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who himself comes from the Persian region. And we weren't disappointed. Drinks, food, service, value for money: everything was great! What can we recommend: Order a few dips (e.g. Baba Ghanoush and the spicy homemade dip) and the salad first. Together with the greetings from the kitchen, you can conjure up some super tasty and fresh small snacks as a starter. The grilled meat and the vegetarian main course with eggplant and the accompanying Persian rice were also super tasty. Also try the Saffron Spritz, a great drink. We'll definitely be back!

I was at the Safran restaurant for the first time today. The service was very friendly and accommodating, pleasant music in the background, cozy atmosphere. I am thrilled with the preparation of the food. Everything fresh and appetizingly prepared. Aromatic tea of ​​borage flowers with saffron candy, starter of creamy yogurt with cucumber pieces, various herbs and small flatbreads. Main course saffron rice with pomegranate seeds, pistachios with chicken thighs and an extra sauce. It was all very delicious. I would happily recommend the Safran Restaurant!!!

The good reviews attracted us on the way from Nuremberg to the Baltic Sea. And it was just right to stop here for a delicious meal. We were given thin flatbreads, parsley and mint as well as lemons in advance to refine our dishes. I LOVE FRESH MINT! No refinement was necessary. I had butter-tender, well-seasoned beef fillet with delicious saffron rice, plus two equally tasty additional side dishes. Even though I was stuffed, I still treated myself to the pistachio tiramisu. A dream! Nice people in the restaurant. Both on the catering and guest side. I can only recommend the saffron.

I visited the Safran restaurant in Kassel and was completely impressed. I would particularly like to highlight the meat, which was very tender and incredibly tasty. A real surprise was the saffron lemonade - a refreshing and at the same time special drink that I have never tried before. The Persian borage tea was also new to me and completely impressed me with its taste. The main course, the saffron plate for two, was also a delight. The different flavors and the perfect preparation made this dish a highlight of the evening. Finally, I tried the dessert saffron misu, an original variation of the classic tiramisu with saffron. That was also something special and very tasty. All in all, I can highly recommend the Safran Restaurant - the combination of exceptional dishes and high-quality ingredients completely convinced me.

We stopped by the restaurant on our way to hambrug. The food is really good and tasty the service also was very nice. We decided to have dinner early, so we were lucky to find a table cause in the weekend it is always booked.

It was our first time there and I can say that I have nothing to complain about and we will definitely come back again. The meat was super tender and the service was first class, super friendly and also very helpful when ordering. The ambience is wonderful and nice and quiet. We were at Safran for the first time on September 26th, 2024. The service was top notch. Very friendly and polite, as well as accommodating. The advice and recommendations for the dishes were also great. The ambience was beautifully designed (pictures, dimmed lights) and calm music was playing in the background. The meat skewers (chicken, beef and lamb) were very tender and juicy, the best I've eaten so far. The portion sizes were also very good. Overall, the saffron is highly recommended.

Persisches Restaurant geführt von einer Familie an der Markthalle in Kassel. Aufmerksamer Service, frische Speisen mit leckeren Gewürzen. Stark: Vorspeisenplatte mit Brot - Minze, Petersilie, Knoblauch, Linsen, Auberginen..,, Hauptgerichte mit 20 Euro für einen Spieß mit Reis zu teuer, kein Bier vom Fass.

Bring your passports with you, I can recommend a trip through Persia to everyone 😉 We had a wonderful evening at Safran, with starters & side dishes, the grill plate for 2 and a dessert. Everything tasted great and we were warmly served. We'd love to come back!

A long-planned Sunday trip to the Safran restaurant. I love Persian cuisine and am happy to have new taste experiences. My expectations were more than met! We ordered "the journey through Persia" for 2 people. Very tasty, juicy meat skewers with saffron rice and the obligatory grilled tomato. I would like to highlight the starter of Zeytun Paraweh olives marinated in personal hogweed & garlic with chopped walnuts and pomegranate syrup. The side dish Kashke Bademjan was also new for us. pureed grilled eggplant with Personalized yogurt and fried mint. Delicious! Also worth mentioning The greeting from the kitchen at the beginning - flatbread with herbs, sheep's cheese and mild onion. The refreshing yogurt drink is recommended. دوغ. The restaurant is a family business and the boss and employees are very friendly. It was served very quickly. Since we had our 2 dogs with us, we had to sit outside. I would like some decoration or Placemats or something similar were desired - it was a bit very "reduced". Since the food was more than plentiful, we came back after a walk to enjoy the delicious saffron-pistachio misu. This time without dogs in the guest room. Small and fine. I was at Safran for the first time today and tried out the dishes. It was a culinary festival. When butter-tender lamb can be cut up with a fork, the rice is aromatic, finely seasoned and mixed with the delicious sauce and develops into a taste explosion in your mouth, then you know: I'll be back!
