We were with you for the first time yesterday, what can I say, it was MEGA! Absolute freedom of eating for my child. I love it when my child can eat whatever he wants. Thank you for allowing us to have this in Kassel... Everyone was so friendly and attentive. No 12 out of 10!

Gluten free freedom! Everything here is gluten-free, even the beer. That means freedom and feasting as you please. The flours are our own mixtures and therefore pizza, burgers and the like taste super delicious 😋 and not like Schär's standard fare. Thank you and just keep it up!

I was there at 31.12 and although I rarely give 5 stars to a place, they fully deserve it. Great food, real Italian food, fair prices and a nice classical environment make this place a special point in Kassel. Additionally the attention was great, the waiters were fast, kind and caring. Please protect places like these, they are not so abundant nowdays.

On Sunday we visited the restaurant with four adults and three children. Because of my girlfriend's celiac disease, it's often not that easy to find a suitable restaurant. We were even more enthusiastic about “Casa del Nonno”. Because here, despite your intolerance, you can enjoy delicious food just as much as people who don't have this intolerance! Added to this is the great, cozy atmosphere, the super nice service (also towards the children ☺️👍🏻) and the selection of food is particularly successful. Because despite the manageable menu, there is something for everyone! Whether it's pasta, pizza, burgers or salad. A great, diverse selection without being “overwhelmed” by an ever-long menu. My spaghetti “lime” with shrimp reminded me of my last vacation in Italy! Super delicious! The crème brûlée is also highly recommended. (and even vegan) There was also a play area for the kids! Top! We felt completely comfortable! Absolute recommendation! We'd love to come back!

At the moment you really (!) have to have a lot of time - clearly overtaxed with a full shop, I guess because of the planning errors, I don't want to blame the staff in the kitchen and service: it's worth the wait! Both the burger and pizza were very tasty and the waiter was customer-oriented and accommodating. My request to the boss: carefully calculate what is to come in the evening and plan realistically and not on the back burner who you need for it, then the store will be great!

The atmosphere was uncomfortable and loud. The staff seemed stressed and not very friendly. The food was lukewarm and the portions were far too small. The price-performance ratio is simply not right here. I was very disappointed and will not be returning.

Wow, that was delicious! I ate the cheeseburger on the recommendation of the house and I have to say, it was extremely juicy, tasty and, above all, plentiful (together with the fresh and crispy fries). I was also able to try pasta and pizza (much to my delight), which were also prepared to the highest standards. For dessert there was crème brûlée and tiramisu, not a gram of which remained on the plates. Absolute recommendation for anyone who likes it fresh and tasty. The prices for food and drinks are absolutely moderate for this level. The staff is polite, nice and professional. We have already reserved the next appointment straight away.

We were here on a Sunday and made reservations in advance. The restaurant was full, almost all the seats were occupied. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, everything fresh and warm (we had burgers and pasta). The prices are just right. The ambience is great, nice interior design and great music. We'd love to come back! :)

Arrived without a reservation and we were still very kindly assigned a seat. The two salads we ordered (Mexican and chicken) were very attractively prepared and extremely tasty. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly. Absolutely recommended! Unfortunately we are only here for 2 nights, but we will definitely stay here again tomorrow. This time with a reservation (hopefully they still have something free!). Will be continued...

Certainly a great choice for people with gluten and other intolerances. Basically the food was very tasty. The pizza dough had a very exciting taste, seasoned with buckwheat, corn and other things, quite tasty, the pasta was okay. Unfortunately, the atmosphere actually bothered us. It is very loud and bright due to the hall-like structure. Unfortunately, there is a total lack of comfort. In my opinion, it's great for a lunchtime meal, a little less so for relaxed, cozy evenings.

There were four of us eating at Casa del Nonno, and only one of us has celiac disease. Nevertheless, we were all thrilled - the food tasted absolutely like “normal” and you didn't notice any difference to conventional dishes. We had a varied selection: burgers, pizza, pasta and salad - so really everything - and every dish was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the burger, but the pizza and pasta were also fantastic. Casa del Nonno offers a wide selection of gluten-free dishes, so everyone in the group was satisfied, even if they don't have gluten intolerance. The quality and taste impressed us and we really enjoyed the visit. Absolute recommendation, regardless of whether you need to eat gluten-free or just love good food!

The perfect restaurant for anyone with celiac disease. The food is exclusively gluten-free and you can eat your way through the menu without hesitation. I would have recommended that anyway because no matter what I ordered, it always tasted excellent! The burger was probably one of the best gluten free I've ever tasted. The prices are quite fair considering the level of quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clear recommendation from me. If I'm ever in Kassel again, I'll definitely come back. Oh, by the way, you can park either directly in front of the door or in the adjacent parking garage. From there there is also a direct route to the restaurant.

We were there for the first time today (September 15th, 2024). They don't officially open until tomorrow, but our online reservation was still accepted. So we (and especially our daughter, who has celiac disease) were able to enjoy the gluten-free cuisine even before it opened. Everything tasted very good (we had pizza, burgers and pasta). The pizza dough and the burger buns are homemade according to our own recipe and taste extremely good. The pasta also tastes excellent. The owner himself suffers from celiac disease and with this restaurant he has created a great opportunity in Kassel to have a good gluten-free meal. We wish the operators a good start. We'll definitely be back!

We were here for the first time a few weeks ago and had a delicious meal. My husband has celiac disease and eating out is no longer so easy. The selection is very good and he was able to choose whatever he wanted from the entire menu because everything is gluten-free. I don't have any dietary restrictions myself and I chose pasta which I liked very much. My husband had a pizza with a homemade pizza dough which tasted excellent. The service was very nice and accommodating. I had already rated it a few weeks ago, then deleted it again because I thought I had done something wrong with the new name. The food is absolutely delicious, and the pizza dough is baked according to a recipe the owner spent years crafting. They even have gluten free tiramisu. This was our first time eating here due to gluten intolerance. If we hadn't reserved the table beforehand, there probably wouldn't have been any free space left. We all had pizza, which was completely new in taste, but tasted interestingly good. The salad was also extremely tasty. Anyone who is familiar with the problem with gluten knows that the prices are of course already way up. The furnishings were also very attractive. There is a star deduction for the ambience because there was one or two Christmas songs in the lounge music playlist. In May. Among other things, Oh Tannenbaum and Let It Snow... Conclusion: We ordered takeaway there again two days later. And enjoyed at home without Christmas music.

Nonno Glutino has the best gluten-free pizza and gluten-free Bruger I've ever eaten. I think the price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. Today we were at Nonno Glutino in Kassel for the first time. It was once again nice that our celiac son had such a varied selection: pizza, pasta, burgers, there was something for everyone. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The partially open kitchen allowed a little insight. As a starter we had pizza bread with a garlic and mustard dip. Then all three of us decided on pizza. Diavolo, Parma e Rucola and Frutti di Mare. All were very tasty. For dessert there was panna cotta with strawberry sauce and tiramisu. All in all highly recommended. We will be back definitely.
