Damn, so disappointed Who knows how to eat at a restaurant can tell the difference Once you say chicken in a cauldron on the menu, plus garlic and polenta, that's what it should be I also asked for peasant potatoes and they were just as mushy My food came, a chicken that was overcooked, the garlic that was chopped and fried in oil was just not garlic, the polenta was not on the plate when I asked for it, it said it came separately, which doesn't seem right to me, I asked for those potatoes separately because it clearly says chicken with tea plus polenta and garlic Luckily I asked for caviar and eggplant salad before and they were very good

Very dirty and very expensive! There's no hot water for washing dogs in the restroom. There are dirty and burnt pots in the garden, and cigarette butts on the ground! We were there at 12:00 p.m. and we were the only customers there, yet it took over an hour for us to get our food. The portions were so small that you couldn't possibly get full with a *large* portion of grilled food. The cabbage rolls were very small and cold, and the cevapcici weren't grilled at all, but cooked in a pan and were burnt to boot! We'll never be back.

When the website isn't even in German, it's clear what kind of place this is. All non-German guests get their food before us. It's disgustingly greasy, the service is unfriendly, and you have to pay extra for side dishes. Never, ever again.

Sad, very sad. It used to be tasty and good. Unfortunately not anymore at the moment. Many drinks and food not available. The rest is VERY fatty, e.g. fries: fat with potatoes. Very unfortunate :(

if you want rustic traditional Romanian food in NRW this is the place to go. A must try is the tripe soup, the chicken with polenta and garlic sauce and many others...

We were there on New Year's Eve. Traditional Romanian food, live music. Great people, even with children we celebrated until the morning! Very nice and always happy again!

Went there for a birthday dinner with 5 people... No other guests were there. I ordered the liver... it was cut into small pieces like a goulash in a sauce... you could count the onions that came with it on one hand. And the fries didn't look great either... they were greasy, undercooked and looked like they had been fried in old fat in a pan.. The atmosphere wasn't that great either.. Glass cleaner next to the lemons on the counter... A dog ran towards the kitchen (no idea if he was in there)... Tablecloth (dirty from the right side) upside down on the table .. So going from Wesel to eat was ultimately not worth it.

My first time trying my husband's Romanian traditional delicacies. I tried ciorba de burta, mici, sarmale and mămăligă. I loved it. Service, food and ambiance are superb. Updated: We came back yesterday and was the same amazing food 😋

We made a detour for them on our Romabia-Holland road and it was worth the extra time spent. The food was very good, fresh ingredients and friendly staff. The menu is also very extensive and with quite affordable prices....I recommend their little ones! Very good!

We also went there spontaneously and ate there with the kids. The portions were really big, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The parking spaces in the yard are great, so you don't have to look for them.

I sat outside, on the terrace, the furniture reminded me of the times when I used to go to parties 15 years ago 😊 Order of 10 small ones, 2 portions of fried potatoes, a cabbage salad (as a package), plus two juices as I expected = almost 50 euros. Well, the problem was not so much the price paid, but the fact that they had no taste, absolutely nothing special, as if they were from self-services in Romania. I understand that we are all eager for the tastes and atmosphere of home, but there is a long way to give 5 stars. Good luck in the future!

I stopped by here while traveling and sat in the garden. It's a place to enjoy. Many families come here. I hope I can come to have dinner with my daughter. I came to Turkey in 2023. I will come in 2024

It doesn't look great from the outside but the kitchen and everything is absolutely recommendable.

Where I feel like I'm at home. The manager Daniel is like a friend of mine for 40 years. Prices are very reasonable. Taste 10/10. It's the only place we go every week as a family and leave with satisfaction. Daniel, you marry so much 🤗🤗

According to Google they should be open around noon on December 31st. It was open too, I just didn't have a reservation. Unfortunately there was no spontaneity on the part of the owners. It wasn't even possible for one person to have a starter or soup to take away. Happy New Year. I'll definitely never come back.

This restaurant is like traveling to Romania even though you are in the middle of Germany. Both the interior and the back yard of the restaurant live up to its name, as you really feel like you are in Bucharest. The menu includes a wide variety of Romanian dishes and drinks, but everyday dishes and drinks are also offered there at reasonable prices. While you eat, Romanian music plays softly in the background and you can hear the employees talking in Romanian. All this gives the restaurant a perfect Romanian ambience. The service is very friendly and doesn't make you wait long, so within 5 minutes of arriving I already had the menu and my beer in my hand. As a starter I had bread on the house and as a main course I ordered the grill plate with fries. This grill plate consisted of a small steak, a chicken breast, a bratwurst and Ćevapčići. The preparation took about 20 minutes, which shows that the food is freshly prepared in the kitchen. Of course you can tell that the food is adjusted to the restaurant's prices, but that doesn't bother you. The payment also went without a long waiting time, everyone was very attentive and friendly. In the end I paid about €22 for starter, main course, two sauces and beer, which is completely acceptable. I can only recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to take a little imaginary trip to Romania or simply likes the Eastern European flair.

I ordered food from this Restaurant and it had no taste. Not just one dish but several dishes. I tell you honestly, you give money for nothing. They're just kidding…🤮

Authentische rumänischen Küche, sehr leckere Polenta, die Hähnchen-Pilz-Pfanne war sehr lecker und man wird sicher satt, aber auch Pommes/Wedges mit Schnitzel sind lecker, wenn man nichts neues probieren möchte 😊

Foarte rar ofer recenzii pe google, însă de această dată, 17 iunie 2023 ... m-am simțit extraordinar în atmosfera acestui restaurant, unde am primit toată atenția cuvenită unui client. Mâncarea este foarte gustoasă, proaspătă, și cel mai important băuturile servite exact la temperatura potrivită. Vă mulțumesc pentru tot efortul depus!

Cantitatea lasă de dorit( "platou gurmand" cu jumate de carnat un mic și o ceafa )

Traditionelle einfache und gute Hausmannskost mit saisonalen und authentischen Speisen und Gerichten wie in Rumänien. Im Haus gemachte muratura, ciorbe, salate, div. carne und mici vom Grill, hamsii, fasole.... cartofi praj. Dazu deutsches oder ein leckeres rumänisches Bier. Ein wieder hergerichtetes in die Jahre gekommenes ehem. typisch 'deutsches' Gasthaus mit Kegelbahn und Biergarten. Freundliche familiäre Atmosphäre, recht gute Portionen. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden

Der Sercvice war eine Katastrophe. Das Essen war, bis auf den Kartoffelsalat der wirklich lecker war, völlig überteuert, fettig und nahezu ungewürzt. Die Portionen für den Preis sehr klein und übersichtlich. Nie wieder.

Klein aber oho! Hier bekommt man echt leckere, neu interpretierte rumänische Gerichte zu einem fairen Preis. Es geht auch immer wirklich flott und das Team ist super nett. Schade, dass das Lokal nicht in Düsseldorf ist.

Wonderful family restaurant where you can taste Romanian home food. Not only the food but also the waitress are so friendly that makes you feel in their home.

Hier gibt es ehrliche Küche ohne viel Schnickschnack und das ganze meiner Meinung nach in überdurchschnittlich guter Qualität. Für Leute, die es eher rustikal und bodenständig mögen würde ich es auf jeden Fall empfehlen hier zu essen.
