Super good food with great service and a view of the Rhine

Spontaneously passed by in the evening without a reservation. Although the restaurant was fully booked, we were offered a wonderful table after a short wait. And the wait was worth it. With a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly and courteous service, we were treated like royalty. The food was a hit and I can recommend it 100%. Modern German cuisine where everything was really spot on and all at fair prices.

Such a delicious meal, balanced in taste, to the point and wonderfully prepared! Highly recommended!

What a successful evening. The restaurant was almost unattended. We had the three course meal and a great wine. Extremely delicious. The portions are a bit small, but the enjoyment makes up for it. Afterwards one more buttic and then you can go to sleep happily.

Were there for the first time after the first Corona lockdown. Today on March 3rd, 2024 for the second time. Friendly service, small menu which we find positive, delicious food and drinks. The price is slightly higher than in other restaurants, but the quality was right. Nice ambience and a good view of the Rhine. We would come back and recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren nach längerer Pause mal wieder im Rheingenuss und stellten fest daß die Küche noch eine Schippe drauf gelegt hat. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, optisch, geschmacklich und qualitativ. Wir waren alle Vier begeistert.

Modernly furnished restaurant directly on the Rhine promenade. Nice service. The menu is manageable, but all the dishes are imaginatively prepared - the eye really enjoys eating here - and, above all, very delicate. Upscale cuisine at slightly upscale but reasonable prices. Had dinner at Rheingenuss today, nice table by the window (it's worth reserving) with a view of the Rhine and the setting sun!!! Ate the 3-course menu, carpaccio and two kinds of veal in the starter, fillet of beef and monkfish in the main course, cheese variation and three kinds of homemade sorbet in the dessert… The food was excellent, everything was on point, especially the beef fillet was of excellent quality and cooked perfectly!!! The service was always attentive but unobtrusive!!! Mr. Haider (I hope the name is spelled correctly) is unique, you just have to love him!!! This is how you wish you a nice evening for two!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Nice table right on the Rhine. You should reserve in advance. The 3-course menu that you can build yourself is definitely recommended. Beef fillet cooked to perfection. All very delicious. Service was very courteous but unobtrusive.

Very good cuisine, excellent wines from mostly VDP wineries (United German Prädikat Wine Estates). There are about 247 of them, one of the most famous is probably Günther Jauch. The evening was a pleasure with a great view of the Rhine and excellent food. Keep it up!

Our table for 7 people was actually reserved for 6 p.m. A quick call and we were able to show up an hour early without any problems. Starter, main course and dessert were very tasty and beautifully presented. The aperitif was also very tasty, the wine accompaniment went very well with the main course. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Everything is right here. It is immediately obvious to everyone that the location and view from the terrace is first-class. The nice thing is that the service, cuisine and wine selection do justice to this. Attention is paid to the small details and the wishes of the customers are taken into account. Located directly on the Rhine, on the 1st floor so that you can actually see the Rhine, you can count this restaurant as one of the best in Königswinter. The menu is - positive - clear, but it takes a little longer to get to the drinks menu, but quantity still usually equals quality. In addition to the high quality of the food, we noticed the particularly friendly service staff, whether employed or boss. A charming and open way of serving without seeming affected. Be it beef cheeks or roast beef, everything was nicely prepared and tasty. A lovely place - especially in sunny weather - for a special event.

Direkt am Rhein gelegen, auf der 1. Etage so dass man den Rhein auch wirklich sehen kann, darf man/frau dieses Restaurant zu den besten in Königswinter zählen. Die Speisekarte ist - positiv - übersichtlich, dafür braucht man für die Getränkekarte etwas länger , dennoch ist Quantität zumeist gleich Qualität. Neben dem gehobenen Niveau des Essens fielen uns die besonders freundlichen Servicekräfte auf, egal ob angestellt oder Chefin. Eine charmante und offene Art des Bedienens, ohne affektiert zu wirken. Ob Rinderbäckchen oder Roastbeef, alles war nett zubereitet und lecker. Ein schöner Ort - vor allem bei sonnigem Wetter - für ein besonderes Ereignis.

Absolutely 5⭐ and more! We have been to Rheingenuss several times and are always impressed by this unusual restaurant. The food is so good! The service is super attentive, totally friendly and fast! The ambience with the view of the Rhine is simply wonderful. We always like to come back and celebrate special festivals in Rheingenuss.

Wir waren mittlerweile schon mehrfach im Rheingenuss und sind immer wieder begeistert. Vom wunderbaren Ambiente, einem persönlichen Service bis zum vorzüglichen Essen stimmt hier einfach alles. Für uns ist das Restaurant Rheingenuss das beste Restaurant in Bonn und wir kommen sicherlich wieder gerne her.

Klasse Restaurant, top Service, frisches, leckeres Essen, gehen auch auf Unverträglichkeiten ein, klasse Lage direkt am Rhein. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend, perfekt für ein Mittagessen mit Familie oder Freunden. Das Highlight war jedoch das Essen: Der Pasta Spargel war sehr lecker und die hausgemachten Beilagen waren köstlich. Auch der Service verdient was gutes zu sagen, aber nicht so super freundlich... Es ist etwas teurer, aber die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen rechtfertigen den Preis. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und kann es jedem empfehlen, der nach einem besonderen kulinarischen Erlebnis sucht.

Wir waren schon öfter dort essen und das Essen, die Bedienung und das Ambiente sind auch gut. Allerdings, jetzt wo wir öfter dort waren, ist es eher enttäuschend, wenn insgesamt nur ca 5 verschiedene Gerichte angeboten werden, die wir schon von den vorherigen Besuchen kennen. Insgesamt und auf Dauer einfach zuwenig Auswahl/Abwechslung. Wir entschieden uns nach den bereits bestellten Getränken woanders hin zu gehen und schilderten der Dame, die wissen wollte was uns gefehlt habe, unser Anliegen. Die Dame meinte, das wir dann mittags kommen müssten. Ok, es war abends, aber wir wollten, wie bestimmt nicht wenige, abends ganz "normal" essen..

This was our third time here and unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food, over an hour! The view was, as always, beautiful of the Rhine and the surrounding area. The beef broth wasn't that tasty and was very salty but my celery soup was delicious as always. The main courses were good but, in my opinion, without sophistication...as usual!

We were your guests for the second time today. For the second time I had to tell the well-trained and extremely friendly team that our stay was a dream. The great service and the loving preparation of the food are reason enough to visit you regularly. The fact that you source your food locally from “neighbors” sets you apart from the crowd! From the potato to the beef cheeks to the fruit schnapps... simply great! The price in relation to the points listed is more than fair. Please keep it up, there are only a few of you left. PS: my better half is a vegetarian and agrees with me 100%.

After our civil wedding, we celebrated here with family and friends in a small circle. Everything went exactly as planned, the table decorations were beautiful, the food (starter, main course, dessert and afternoon coffee with cake) was all great. Service is always friendly and on point. Even small special requests were taken into account and not forgotten, that's how it works when professionals are at work. Kind regards to the entire team.

Our visit to the beautiful Rheingenuss restaurant for a birthday dinner for two was a great experience. We were impressed by exquisite food and drinks as well as service that couldn't be beaten in terms of friendliness and competence. The ambience, the location and – very unusual here – a parking space opposite complemented the consistently positive impressions. It was a pleasure. As the name says: Rhine enjoyment!

Samstag 19.04. Abendessen: Aperitif: 2 x Heidelbeer Spritz 1 x Kalbsleber, 1x Zanderfilet, 1 x Creme brülle, 1 x Eierlikör Eisbecher. Zusammen: 85,00 €. Das Lokal war ausgebucht. Das Essen, Geschmacklich Super. Aber absolute Kinderportionen Noch nie haben wir für ein Abendessen so viel bezahlt und sind hungrig nach Hause gefahren, um uns da satt zu essen. Auch zu Trinken bekamen wir nichts angeboten. Die o.g. Aperitif wurden in halb vollen Gläsern mit Glashalm serviert. Meine Kalbsleber mit etwas Kartoffel Stampf auf separatem Tellerchen serviert, war lecker zubereitet, aber die Leber hatte die Dicke einer Wurstscheibe beim Metzger Etwa 3 mm. Das Zander Filetchen, angeblich aus den Isselmeer, war zwar auch lecker, aber das bisschen püriertes Gemüse als Sättigungsbeilage macht ebenfalls nicht satt. Auch der Eisbecher und die Creme brülle e als Dessert konnten da nicht helfen. Erst der wohl gefüllte Kühlschrank, Zuhause, hat uns geholfen. Das Lokal hat eine super Lage direkt am Rheinufer mit schöner Terrasse. Aber Innen das Ambiente eines Bahnhof Wartesaales. Die Bedienung hat uns zwar freundlich begrüßt, aber nach Bestellung der Aperitifs und den genannten Kinderportionen, nicht mehr nach Getränkewünschen gefragt. Eigentlich schade. Vielleicht werden wir im Sommer mal auf der Terrasse ein Bier trinken, nachdem wir uns wo Anders, satt gegessen haben.

Wir sind schon sehr oft hier zu Besuch gewesen und freuen uns immer auf das sensationell leckere Essen und die stilvolle, professionelle und nette Betreuung. Die Karte wechselt saisonal, es gibt immer etwas Besonders und uns freut, dass auch regionale Landbetriebe hier ihre Produkte wiederfinden. Man schmeckt es !!! Sehr ansprechendes Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamem Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut, allerdings recht hochpreisig für relativ überschaubare Portionen. Der Nachtisch (Brownie) wirkte leider nicht frisch, sondern zu lange vorbereitet. Die hierüber geäusserte Kritik wurde offen entgegen genommen. Die Getränkekarte ist äusserst umfangreich. Wer da nichts findet ist selber schuld. Trotz des kleinen faux pas beim Nachtisch, ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant in schönem Abiente mit Aussicht auf den Rhein nebst Aussengastronomie auf der Terasse.

Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden, nur die Portionen könnten ein wenig größer sein - vor allen Dingen, wenn man mit jungen Menschen essen geht.

Finally a restaurant without the usual boring schnitzel etc. menu, refined with ready-made hollandaise or bearnaise. Instead, a manageable, absolutely sufficient selection of tempting dishes, of which you would like to try each one (which we definitely plan to do). We started today's spontaneous lunch with excellent sauerbraten and fried napkin dumplings with delicious side dishes. These extraordinary dishes, prepared with great attention to detail, can usually only be found in much higher-priced restaurants. How nice that we found you!
