My personal impression, without wanting to make anyone feel bad... Rating consists of my friend for her tuna salad 4 stars and my spagetti Bolognese 2 stars... Service: appeared a bit grumpy...wasn't unfriendly, but made a very listless impression to me... Waiting time: great, everything went super fast... My girlfriend's tuna salad... Good, good dressing, taste ok... Looks great Spaghetti Bolognese Appearance: Noodles punched together with sauce, appetizing is something else. Minced meat...is that what you call it? No parmesan/hard cheese offered... Taste ok, nothing outstanding...it's ok... Price-wise: within the range...a bit too expensive for what is offered... This is just my subjective assessment, a constructive criticism that can also be used as suggestions for improvement from customers in order to respond to customer requests... Lg Update: Visited again after 3 years in 2024 thanks to the voucher book Another dish: schnitzel with bolo sauce with rigatoni... Good taste, good price too. Portion size: still a bit smaller compared to others Still no parmesan cheese And still unfriendly, listless service.

Were two adults with a child, Indian food was delicious and service was good.

Attention: *Schnitzel Bolognese is a schnitzel with cream-spinach sauce and ham.* After ordering Schnitzel Bolognese, I received the creation in question. I called and said the wrong thing had been delivered to us. But it said that Bolognese was the cream and spinach sauce with ham. You've never heard of anything like that! It was also said that this was on the menu. However, this is not the case, neither on the in-house website nor at Lieferando. See for yourself: It only says "with cream sauce", which suggests that it is a Bolognese sauce with cream sauce. It remains completely unclear to me why a standard sauce is defined completely differently. I don't want to order wine for my sake and then get water on the grounds that the word "wine" is defined as "tap water" somewhere. Who does something like that? Nevertheless, there are four stars because the operators sent a real schnitzel Bolognese (i.e. schnitzel with minced meat and tomato sauce). Points will be deducted for the unnecessarily incorrect declaration.

Yesterday we had dinner with 6 people. Everything was great. The food was freshly prepared. We'll definitely be back.

I ate there for the first time today and definitely for the last time...I love going to Indian food but none of the four different dishes here tasted really good...it's a shame

SUPER DELICIOUS AND FRIENDLY!!!

I ADVISE ORDERING FROM THERE!!! I always ordered from Punjab because the pizza was really good, until today. As usual I ordered a 4 cheese pizza but I get a sponge that doesn't taste good. At first the pizza was lukewarm. Secondly, it wasn't baked through, and thirdly, it was very wobbly. As I said, I ordered from them for years before the recent renovation and was always satisfied. Either they have a new owner, a new chef or they have disposed of your pizza oven. In any case, I am very disappointed and don't think I will order again in the future. And I advise that to everyone.

I went there for the first time (a Wednesday at 9 p.m.), I was moderately convinced. The atmosphere is sad, poorly lit, not crowded, it didn't really smell good, musty and unpleasant smell. The lady expressed no emotion, as if she didn't care whether the customer came or not. I ordered a pizza, and a Cola, it took 20 minutes even though I was barely alone, the drink brought directly into a glass, almost no gas. The taste of the pizza was very ordinary. It reminded me of the frozen pizzas from Lidl for 1€. When it was time to pay, and putting me in front of the counter, the lady was still emotionless, not even a question about my satisfaction! Result: I won't come back.

I ordered pizza there. And completely upset my stomach. Suffered for 4 days. NEVER AGAIN !!

The Indian food is totally authentic. And the owners are super nice and helpful.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants that I have been to in Saarland. You'll find delicious dishes at a reasonable price.

The mix of Italian and Indian cuisine appealed to me. So I ordered an Indian dish and a pizza. I quickly understood. The Indian was delicious, definitely made by Indians, as the owners are Indian. So great. That the naan which I would give 3 out of 5 (perhaps the fact that it was in aluminum, taken away?) The pizza: absolutely nothing exceptional, I would rather say a disappointment. It’s still a pizza NOT prepared by an Italian. Go there with your eyes closed for the Indian part, but not for the pizza. The service and staff very pleasant, nothing to say.

Ordered once and never again, I've never eaten such bland Indian food. It was really almost tasteless. It was really strange and I can't help it at all. Sorry.

We were guests in Punjab with 8 people. We received friendly service and all questions were patiently explained. We had to wait a bit, but we didn't find that to be a problem. For us a sign that it was freshly prepared. We all chose 8 Indian dishes, all of which were delicious. The operator should only lend a hand to the ambience, unfortunately there is an 80s pub charm.

We came to this restaurant via the Schlemmerblock and were pleasantly surprised. Very tasty Indian dishes and friendly service.

The beef curry tasted delicious and the two young waitresses were always friendly. We will come back in any case!

We only ate Indian food there and it was really tasty for everyone at the table. Just a different taste. Staff was also very friendly and personable.

Es war wie erwartet und gewohnt sehr sehr fein. Wir hatten unterschiedliche indische Vorspeisen und 4 verschiedene indische Hauptgerichte. Wir waren wieder von der Qualität und dem tollen Geschmack begeistert. Obwohl das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war und der Lieferservice noch bedient wurde, wurden wir zeitnahe versorgt. Auch die Betreuung durch Herrn Singh und seinen Sohn war lieb und zuvorkommend wie immer! Wir lieben euch! Danke für das feine Essen und den tollen Service!

The food came quickly and the driver was very nice and friendly. However, the food is not recommended, my noodles were burnt, the entire bottom of the bowl was black and so were the noodles. Inedible there were black pieces everywhere in the food. It was also too salty. I would also have expected more cheese. We don't order here anymore. Unfortunately not our taste.

Waited 75 minutes for a pizza and rump steak even though there were only five or six guests in the restaurant. Such a long wait isn't possible. What do they do when the restaurant is full?

75 Minuten auf einer Pizza und ein Rumpsteak gewartet so etwas geht gar nicht obwohl im Lokal nur fünf bis sechs Personen waren

I was invited and I have to admit, I wouldn't go there again. I didn't think the food was bad. However, the rest of the circumstances weren't that great. We waited over an hour for the food, my friend sat in front of her empty glass for over 30 minutes. After the meal, I didn't ask how it tasted, just that Statement “finito”. Friendliness and politeness don't cost anything, but they make a huge difference, but the landlady doesn't seem to care. I've rarely experienced such a musty attitude. The restaurant has been around for a long time, maybe we were just unlucky that day, which is a shame.

The food was okay, but a small portion. Unfortunately we had to wait 50 minutes for our food after ordering, even though the restaurant wasn't really full. The atmosphere was somewhat pub-like, with lots of wood paneling and old furnishings. Unfortunately I can't recommend it, but maybe you'll have better luck ordering it.

We have been eating out in Punjab for several years. And because we always liked it, we accepted the extremely long waiting time for the delivery service and the unfriendly owner. But now she has gone overboard with the unfriendliness, to say the least. After dinner I asked her if she could pack the rest for me. Yes, she said, but that would now cost 50 cents extra, which I have to doubt, since she didn't type the 50 cents into the cash register, but added it by hand to the printed receipt. The highlight, however, was that she brought us a spoon and the take-away box to the table and we had to pack the rest ourselves. We decided not to eat at Punja anymore.

Bestes indisches Restaurant im ganzen Saarland. Und sie haben wunderbare Nudeln. Sehr zu empfehlen ist natürlich das Butter Chicken und Murgh Muglai. Vielen Dank für die vielen wunderbaren Abende.

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen! Wir können das butter chicken und das Kashmir chicken sehr empfehlen!! Das Bombay chicken und die pakoras sind auch sehr gut!

Wir waren heute am Freitag Abend zum Essen bei Punjab. Leider kann ich nur negatives berichten. Es dauerte ziemlich lange bis die Getränke kamen ( Wasser und Tee) , dann hatten wir das Essen bestellt (u.a. Rigatoni al forno mit Bechamelsauce). Nach ca. 30 Minuten kamen meine Rigatoni al forno. Leider mit Bolognesensauce. Ich hatte es ausdrücklich mit Bechamelsauce bestellt. Die Dame diskutierte mit mir und meinte das es so in der Karte stehen würde. Dort steht wie auch auf der Homepage von Punjab Bolognese oder Bechamelsauce. Fehler passieren aber dann mit dem Gast zu diskutieren...geht leider gar nicht. Sie brachte mir die Rigatoni danach nochmal mit Bechamelsauce. Geschmeckt hat es nach nichts. Im Allgemeinen war die Dame auch sehr unfreundlich, kein Danke, kein Tschüß..nichts. Service gleich null. Erwähnenswert ist vielleicht auch das Hunde mit ins Restaurant dürfen, ich habe nichts gegen Hunde, aber im Restaurant finde ich das schon sehr komisch. Es lief Musik und von 2 Gästen wurde TV geschaut, Fußball. Alles durcheinander. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen, bei To Steki nebenan ist der Service 100 mal besser, das Essen auch !

Sehr lecker gegessen. Indisch mit Hähnchenbrust und Schweinefleisch. Gute Portion zum satt werden und Geschmacklich sehr lecker. Kommen gerne wieder.

Essen ist sehr gut, mit Geschmack , sehr lecker , nehme oft Butter chicken die ist einfach toll, aber Bedienung ist nicht ganz freundlich, redet auf dem Weg , bleib ganz kurz am Tisch und nehm Bestellung wie gesagt auf dem Weg! ‼️2 Sterne ⭐️ ⭐️ weil dauert ewig bis wann die Essen kommt! Hab auf Butter chicken mehr als 1 Stunden gewartet!!!

Wir waren mit ca. 20 Personen dort. Geschmäcker sind verschieden, hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Indisch, Steam, Pizza… Jedem hat es geschmeckt und zudem wurden alle Gerichte zeitnah serviert. Klasse. Klare Empfehlung.

My travels took me to Saarbrucken, a sleepy beautiful town in South Germany where I took the chance to eat at an Indian restaurant. Meeting the owners, the Singh´s and eating a fresh meal cooked by them turned into a delightful table talk i wasn't expecting. They told me how they ended up in Germany and started this restaurant 33 years ago which is also a pizzeria. We were two of us and had special chai, samosa, rice, dal tadka, mattar paneer and naan. The food was authentic, fresh and traditionally flavoured which is mostly missed by many Indian restaurants abroad. My craving for Indian food and non stop gup shup in my own dialect was deeply satiated. Give them a grand hug if you ever get to go there! Thanks for reading. Hugs and love, Deepa

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen! Man kann sehr gut vorbestellen, wenn die Pause kurz ist! Sehr nette Gastgeber! Gehe sehr gerne hin!

Super leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal

Wir bestellen fast wöchentlich eine Familien oder Partypizza. Ich empfehle die Kombination aus Käse und Mozzarella zu bestellen, da die Pizza ansonsten etwas trocken ist. Ein paar mal wurden die Bestellungen nicht 100% korrekt ausgeführt. Trotzdem immer wieder gerne.

Food was good and quantity was sufficient. Surprised to see rating below 4. Owners were super helpful and they arranged milk bottle for our toddler ( for free) when all the supermarkets were closed. Definitely visit them again if I come to saarbrucken again.

Relativ Kleine Portion Palak Paneer von sehr gutem Geschmack. Dazu eine große Portion Reis, der geschmacklich fad war. Es gab ein richtig gutes Naan kostenlos dazu. Der Inhaber hat uns zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich bewirtet. Ich kann das Restaurant durchaus empfehlen.

Sehr liebe Familie, die das Restaurant mit ganz viel Liebe führen. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die indischen Vorspeisen. Ein Traum. Ansonsten ist die Karte sehr gross und nach mehreren Besuche kann ich sagen, alles schmeckt

Eine sympathische Familie bereitet in gepflegter, gutbürgerlicher Einrichtung gutes Essen mit internationaler Küche. Ich mag dieses Restaurant und ihre Menschen sehr.

Tolles indisches Essen, Butter Chicken sehr zu empfehlen. Portionen dürfen gerne größer sein. Das Personal ist etwas unhöflich, eventuell eine Ausnahme an diesem Tag, machte aber keinen sympathischen Eindruck.

Das Essen hier ist einfach grandios. Auch der Service des von der Inhaberfamilie geführten Restaurans ist immer top. Am letzten Mittwoch im Monat gibt es immer ein indisches Buffet, das ebenfalls sehr lecker ist. Im Sommer kann man draußen vorm Restaurant dinnieren. Vom Ambiente her ist das sicherlich nicht das schönste Restaurant in Saarbrücken, aber es ist einfach urig. Ich werde hier immer wieder das phantastische Essen genießen. Einziger "Kritikpunkt", der mich aber generell bei ca. 70% aller Restaurantbesuche stört: Nach dem Restaurantbesuch im Innenbereich riecht man bis auf die Unterwäsche so, als hätte man selbst am Herd gestanden.
