We were there for the first time. The ambience is no longer the newest, but still cozy. We "only" ate starters and they were very tasty, and the staff was also friendly and nice. We'll definitely be back.

The family team is very nice and accommodating. You feel very welcome. The food is incredibly good. I have never eaten such good Greek food! Top quality and very fresh, made with love...you can taste it too. The food is very high quality...5 ☆ The ambience is cozy but unfortunately the noise is very loud when it is full. Far too many tables that make everything very cramped. Unfortunately, wheelchair users can't get through without scaring the other guests and causing a huge commotion. Exactly what you don't want as a wheelchair user. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star for this reason.

Great food and incredibly tasty. We were thrilled by the taste and appearance, we have never seen or eaten anything like it. Service is friendly, you feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant could be a little bigger as it is very busy.

A real insider tip. The creations on the plates are not only worth seeing, but also incredibly delicious. The calamari is extremely tender and the different dips taste delicious and interesting. I don't know of any other Greek restaurant that serves food so beautifully. The meat dishes are also very tasty.

Rather simple atmosphere. It was probably once a restaurant. But the food and service are simply outstanding. For dessert there was a delicious pudding at no charge. Will definitely come back.

Auch dieses Mal müssen wir feststellen das es wohl keinen besseren Griechen in der Gegend gibt. Wir hatten Vorspeisenteller, danach Fischplatte Poseidon und Lammfilet mit Pfefferrahm. Toll im Geschmack, sehenswert angerichtet, dazu ein super Service.

Very tasty, beautifully prepared, with attention to detail. Portions are massive. There is a small starter and a dessert from the house. The service is super attentive and friendly. Both the meat and the sea bream were perfectly prepared. A compliment to the chef.

After the good recommendations from our friends, we visited the Poseidon for the first time today with friends. We were all completely thrilled. From the very good service to an incredible homemade dessert as a goodie, everything was just right. The starters and main courses were very lovingly prepared. The eye really eats here. We can easily recommend this small, tasteful restaurant. We definitely weren't there for the last time today. Please keep it up!

Allowing the outside to stop you again, wrongly so. Super nice welcome, without a reservation, a short conversation and the two of us sat... The ambience inside is simply great and not kitschy, take a look at the ceiling... Little appetizer and the greeting from the kitchen is a dream... Ordered fish and meat once... The presentation on the plate is simply beautiful and so delicious... After 6 p.m. it is best to make a reservation

Super delicious food. Modern versions of typical Greek dishes are served. The dishes are elaborately put together and prepared, with great dips and sauces and harmonious combinations. Great value for money, for the same price you can get fried meat with side dishes elsewhere, without the culinary finesse surrounding it.

Wow, just wow!!! 😍 Just the greeting from the kitchen, the bread, which was already super tasty, put the dip/sauce on top again... The main course... I think the photo speaks for itself... lovingly prepared and you could taste it too! All in all very very satisfied, I will definitely come back. Thanks! There are many good Greek restaurants, but what is on offer here is exceptional! It starts with great service and continues with the chic table decoration (including stylish patience and puzzle games). But the food itself surpasses everything. Haute cuisine meets gyros! Not only is everything super delicious, the food is also prepared like in a star restaurant. The experience is rounded off with one or two tasty “greetings from the kitchen”. Given the relatively inconspicuous facade, I would never have expected that. I would even give it 6 stars.

We visited the Greek restaurant Poseidon because of the good reviews and really loved it. Cozy furnishings, very friendly staff and by far the best Greek food in the area. There is a very large selection of delicious dishes and special specialties, everything is beautifully prepared, decorated and served on special dishes. The quality of the food is excellent. We have been here regularly since our first visit and it is always an experience. It's nice that such special restaurants still exist.

Selten so ein hervorragendes Restaurant erlebt. Sehr freundlich, mega lecker und auch was fürs Auge. Der Nachtisch wird mit Trockeneis serviert , der ganze Tisch ist in Nebel gehüllt. Einsame Klasse. Für uns auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne .

Rarely eaten so well. A free starter and a free dessert were served. After the meal, a free schnapps was offered. We ate there with 4 people. The portions were large and high quality. The price/performance ratio is right here. We enjoyed it very much. We'd love to come back. There is sufficient parking space in front of the restaurant.

We've been there several times now and it's always amazing. A small starter, bread with herbs, then a salad that is second to none. Then the main courses, always very tasty and filling. Afterwards a greeting from the kitchen, which always varies. Then an ouzo on the house... and everyone is always very friendly. Keep it up! We'll come back often!

I am absolutely thrilled! (And I rarely write reviews) The food was super tasty and actually surprisingly cheap for what you get. The main course is accompanied by a small starter and a really spectacularly prepared dessert (both also incredibly tasty). As well as the individual components of the dishes were coordinated both in terms of taste and appearance, I assume that the kitchen here definitely knows what it is doing and puts a lot of love into it. Even the side salad was a masterpiece. The service staff were also very warm and quick. All in all a really great restaurant, I would recommend it to anyone who loves good Greek food!

Super delicious food. Price-performance is right. The most beautifully presented and delicious Greek food I have ever eaten. Finally no monster portions with a heartburn alarm, but good portions that fill you up deliciously. 🤤 Always with ouzo, starter and dessert on the house. Simply great 👍

I have never eaten so well at a Greek restaurant! Even the “greeting from the kitchen” was amazing! A kind of foccacia with 3 delicious dips. The side salad for the Socrates plate puts all other side salads in the shade with its unusual ingredients (including pomegranate, raisins, yellow carrots, sunflower and pumpkin seeds). The meat was also very good and tasted excellently with various sauces. I had the stuffed mushrooms (warm starter) as my main course and I was simply thrilled. At the end there was a straciatella cream on the house. One should not forget that all the dishes were beautifully prepared and served. We'll definitely be back!

Even though the restaurant was full, we still got a place for two with a small dog. Eat good. Service friendly. Gladly again.

By far the best Greek restaurant we know of. We drive there especially from Lünen. Although we haven't had much opportunity to come by recently, we have always been warmly welcomed and recognized. And be it through small gifts like a Sprite instead of Ouzo Pinnchen for my wife while she was pregnant last year. We are always happy to come back and can only recommend it to everyone!

My wife and I were back in the restaurant after a long time. We were really pleasantly surprised at how much it has changed. We didn't remember the food that well, but the food was prepared much more lovingly. And the staff is very nice and accommodating and always has a smile on their faces.
