The food was very, very tasty. The only problem was that even when paying at the counter, the staff wanted to know the numbers of the dishes instead of the names. We paid separately, otherwise it probably wouldn't have been a problem. Nothing to stop us from coming back; a great restaurant.

Absolutely thrilled! I haven't visited such a good restaurant in a long time. Fresh, delicious, high-quality food, lovingly prepared. Even though it was packed, the chef was always on top of things and friendly to guests and staff, fulfilling all their wishes with great dedication and expertise.

We discovered the Poseidon restaurant by chance, and it's become our new regular Greek restaurant. Great, friendly service and even better food. So delicious.

We just spontaneously picked up gyro fries and a Wiener schnitzel to go. We don't usually write reviews, but these menus were incredibly delicious!!! Poseidon must have one or more real chefs in the kitchen! The gyro came with grilled bell peppers and spices alongside delicious tzatziki. It was served with grilled flatbread sprinkled with some kind of chili oil and herbs. It also came with a kind of herb aioli. I've never eaten such delicious flatbread! Wow! Then the gigantic Wiener schnitzel... It came, as it should, with a lemon spritz and was spot on and also really delicious! Then the salad... there were at least 15 different types of lettuce, herbs, sprouts, and fruit in it; with a delicious, yet understated dressing. Then there was dessert. That was also amazing. Something like panna cotta?! We deliberately only ordered two dishes, even though there were four of us, including our two boys. We didn't know we'd get two such 5-star meals. We're stuffed and have some left over for tomorrow. Yay! We also really liked the packaging of the dishes. As far as possible, everything was in eco-friendly packaging. That worked out great. It just goes to show that it doesn't always have to be plastic. The price is more expensive than at a regular Greek takeaway, but it's more than justified! And I say that as a penny pincher. The bottom line is that the four of us had a finger-licking meal for around €10 per person. Poseidon has gained four new fans today! Thank you so much for the fantastic meal, dear Poseidon team. We were out again as restaurant testers, and this time we chose the Poseidon Restaurant! Our expectations were truly exceeded! From the outside, it looks rather unassuming, but everything inside is impressive! You feel very welcome, and the owners put their heart and soul into their work! We recently ate here for the first (and last) time. About the food itself: The prices are generally quite excessive for the quality of the food. The grilled octopus is definitely not worth the almost 17 euros. Unfortunately, the little pale piece of rubber had never seen the grill. Instead, it had clearly been transported from the freezer straight to the microwave. Result: absolutely inedible - and the portion was really cheeky for the price. On the contrary, the lamb chops had come into contact with the grill. What doesn't fit at all, however, is the price-performance ratio. Around 80 grams of meat for 27 euros is not possible. The various vegetable side dishes that fill the oversized plate quite randomly don't help either. Regarding the general ambience: The “restaurant” is reminiscent of a cramped basement bar from the 80s. About the service: The ladies who served us were all very attentive and friendly and therefore the complete opposite of the waiter. Hard to top in terms of arrogance.

The Greek restaurant seems inconspicuous and old-fashioned at first, but the warmth of the operators is simply indescribable. They have been running the store for over 20 years and still put a lot of heart and soul into Poseidon! To start there is an ouzo as well as a starter and salad, which varies regularly. The main courses are very lavish, sometimes dessert is hardly enough!

It was ok but nothing more… The way it is served is a bit chic. Taste of the main meal is ok. There was a greeting from the kitchen, but the taste was completely missing... the starter came before the greeting. Then the salad came straight away and the main meal came straight away... everything on huge plates... but the table wasn't cleared regularly. At the end there was a dessert with cinnamon... in my opinion 0 fit in this restaurant.. The service left a lot to be desired. Totally chaotic and loud... people were always calling into the kitchen, so you can hear it a lot in the restaurant. People were talking and discussing very loudly behind the counter. The prices are high for a Greek, but I don't think they're justified.

We received a very friendly welcome and the service is very nice and attentive.🥰 I was even loaned a pair of reading glasses because I had forgotten mine. After we ordered our food, we were given a starter with delicious homemade bread and our drinks. The food was then brought very quickly... Not only was it very lovingly prepared, but it was also hot, incredibly tasty and lots of it. Afterwards there was a dessert from the house... A huge, delicious and wonderful surprise 😍. There was also romantic candlelight, which made the evening perfect for me😉I have NEVER left a restaurant so excited. We are currently in Habinghorst because of work and if you are here and don't eat at Poseidon you have definitely missed out on a great evening with great hosts and incredibly good food. Have been there for dinner 4 times in 2 weeks and absolutely loved it every time, the small house starter is great, the side salad is something completely different, not just a green salad, absolutely fresh and very tasty. All the main courses we had were absolutely great, meat and vegetables of the highest quality and very well processed. Then the little surprise at the end was great The service and boss are very, very friendly, you feel very comfortable and can stay longer A Greek that you definitely can't miss is at the top of our list
