Super Service und leckeres Essen. Großzügige Portionen. Als Begrüßung gab es einen Ouzo gratis und auch noch ein kleines Dessert ebenfalls gratis. So etwas hab ich bisher bei keinem Restaurant erlebt. Ich kann das Poseidon absolut empfehlen.

Waren des öfteren dagewesen, aber jetzt vorerst das letzte Mal!!! So ein trockenes, hartes Gyros noch nie gegessen! Souvlaki mit seltsamen Beigeschmack! Die Konsequenz davon, harmlos ausgedrückt: Probleme bei der Verdauung.... Tipp: Koch auswechseln bzw zur Qualität zurück wie es mal war, ansonsten seh ich schwarz Echt schade 😔

Leckers Essen bei schönem Wetter im Biergarten genießen. Schöne Location.

Wir waren zu zweit dort zum Abendessen. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Die Portion meines Essens war groß und somit reichlich. Geschmacklich gut nur das Dressing meines zum Gericht gehörenden Salats traf nicht so meinen Geschmack. Vorweg gab es einen Ouzo aufs Haus und hinterher ein kleines Stück Kuchen.

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! "Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung !!!! Wir wollten einen zu Weihnachten geschenkten Groupon-Gutschein für ein 3-Gänge-Menü einlösen. Vor Ort wurde uns die Einlösung jedoch strikt verweigert. Die Begründung des Betreibers war, dass er von Groupon kein Geld erhalten würde. Als Gast ist es sehr unangenehm, wenn interne Unstimmigkeiten zwischen dem Restaurant und dem Gutscheinanbieter auf dem Rücken der Kunden ausgetragen werden. Ein Gutschein stellt eine im Voraus bezahlte Leistung dar - diese einfach zu verweigern, ist absolut unprofessionell. Wir haben uns unverrichteter Dinge wieder auf den Weg gemacht. Nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man sich auf die Gültigkeit von Gutscheinen verlassen möchte. Hinweis: Ein Restaurant kann die Annahme von Gutscheinen nicht einfach willkürlich verweigern, solange der Vertrag mit Groupon besteht. Wenn sie nicht mehr mit Groupon arbeiten wollen, müssen sie die Gutscheine aus dem Verkauf nehmen. Wir werden dieses Restaurant mit Sicherheit nicht wieder aufsuchen !!!!

ich habe meinen geburtstag bei „maik“ mit freunden verbracht … ein wunderschöner abend mit tollem essen, persönlicher note herzlichen aspekten 💙 … dankeschön dafür und immer wieder gerne 😉

Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, große Auswahl auf der Speisekarte und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Tische sind teilweise nicht ganz so schön platziert, ebenso gibt es viele Unebenheiten im Boden, welche beim Sitzen bemerkbar sind, da die Stühle schief stehen oder nur an einer bestimmten Stelle stehen können. Parken ist in der Straße und nahen Umgebung gut möglich.

Waren schon mehrmals mit verschiedenen Freunden dort Essen. Immer ein sehr herzlicher gutgelaunter Chef und sehr freundliche aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, egal wie voll das Restaurant ist. Essen ist sehr lecker und wirklich reichlich. Ambiente ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wenn das Restaurant gut besucht ist, erhöht sich automatisch auch die Lautstärke der Gäste. Dies schadet aber dem Essen nicht. Im Sommer kann man auch zusätzlich draußen gemütlich sitzen. Parkplätze sind an der Hauptstraße oder gegenüber am Getränkemarkt zu finden. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder:-)

Essen gut und reichlich (halt griechische Küche nach deutscher Vorstellung), Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, Preise ok. Ausnahme: Der (hausgemachte und sehr leckere) Tzaziki ist bei den meisten Gerichten nicht dabei, sondern muss für 6,90 Euro zusätzlich bestellt werden. Ich fand die Akustik im hinteren Raum etwas problematisch (sehr laut, knarzende Billig-Boxen an den Wänden), die sanitären Einrichtungen sind alt und könnten meiner Meinung nach sauberer sein.

Sehr freundliches Personal, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam! Die Gerichte wurden sehr schön gestaltet und die Portionen waren riesig, einpacken wurde wie selbstverständlich angeboten. Der Gruß aus der Küche und die persönliche Verabschiedung haben die angenehme Atmosphäre abgerundet. Vielen Dank an das nette Team, zu empfehlen!

Wir haben spontan mit 7 Personen an einem Sonntag einen Tisch bekommen, nachdem unser ursprünglich geplantes Restaurant unsere Buchung falsch erfasst hatte. Und wir haben es kein bisschen bereut. Alles, egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch, war sehr lecker, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind vollkommen angemessen. Zu einem Dessert hat es nicht mehr gereicht, die Portionen der Hauptspeise waren zu groß 😉 Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einem Groupon-Gutschein zum ersten Mal im griechischen Restaurant Poseidon in Hennef und sind absolut begeistert! Das Gutschein-Menü war sehr reichhaltig, die Auswahl groß und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Essen war frisch, sehr lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr freundlichen Chef und das aufmerksame, herzliche Personal – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Alles hat wunderbar gepasst, wir waren rundum zufrieden. We went there for the first time with a group of people. The food was very good and plentiful, and it arrived quickly despite the restaurant being full. Unfortunately, the drinks service wasn't so good. The menu listed a 0.4l glass of mineral water, slightly cheaper than the 0.2l glass, but when we ordered, they consistently denied its availability, leaving us with no choice but to take the smaller glass. The same thing happened with the wine. The menu listed a carafe of 0.5l rosé, also cheaper than the 0.2l glass of wine. Instead of the carafe, we received two glasses of dark wine (it was impossible to tell if they were 0.2l, as the fill line was missing). The waiter who was called over refused to acknowledge the problem, suggesting we simply try the wine, saying it would taste good and there was no issue. As a result, there was a constant mix-up with the drinks. As I said, the food was very good, but the drinks management was poorly organized, perhaps due to the frequent changes in the waiter.

The best Greek restaurant I know. We always order the surprise menu. The kitchen selects our dishes. Excellent, highly recommended.

The food was – as always – very good. The music from the speakers was very loud, and since the restaurant was full, the noise level was uncomfortably high. Unfortunately, the service was very poor this time. The menu listed 0.4 liters of mineral water, which is what we ordered. We received 0.25 liters – they didn't even offer 0.4 liters. We ordered two 0.5-liter carafes of rosé wine. We received two glasses of very dark rosé wine, without a fill line. When we asked about it, we were simply told, "Just try it, it'll taste fine." Other drink orders were either forgotten or arrived twice. There were no problems with the food; it arrived quickly – despite the restaurant being very busy. The portions were quite large, and the quality and taste were very good.

Three stars, perhaps, but well-deserved! The food quality was inconsistent. €9.90 for 10 slices of baked zucchini is definitely far too expensive, even for a premium restaurant; we found that quite cheeky (see photo). Of the five scampi, three were unfortunately missing and therefore inedible, and at €24.90, they were also overpriced for that quality. And why put balsamic vinegar on a fish platter? The calamari and the gyros were okay in terms of taste, although a bit pricey (around €20 per dish). Another point of criticism is the enormous amount of smoke in the restaurant today, which all the guests found quite bothersome. Generally speaking, some dishes were technically well-prepared, while others were not at all. At these prices, you MUST deliver better, even when it's busy.

I ordered gyros for pickup. The menu online lists it as €16.90. When my partner picked it up, he had to pay €37. When I inquired by phone, they only replied that the prices had apparently changed since December 2024. It's September 2025, and the prices on their website should have been updated long ago (they are as of 2024). I therefore feel like I was duped. The food was okay. The gyro meat was juicy and not too dry, the fries were okay, and the salad was unfortunately very poorly prepared, with the bowl only lightly filled with a few lettuce leaves, a piece of cucumber, a piece of tomato, and dressing, plus a few kernels of corn. As a result, unfortunately, this will be my first and last time ordering from there.

The food here, in the lovely, warm atmosphere, is always highly recommended. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and despite a full house, there are no long waits. There's simply nothing negative to say...very authentic cuisine and always worth a visit. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, the quality remains consistently fantastic. It's great that you're here. Unfortunately, I have to retract my positive review; it hasn't been the same since the change of ownership :( They smoke in the shop, the owners don't care about the customers' opinions, and the quality of the meat has declined significantly...a real shame...

At Poseidon, everyone will find something delicious to eat – the cuisine is varied and incredibly tasty. Added to that is a very pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The cool and attentive staff, in particular, make the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Salads weren't delivered or were delivered very late; even after asking for them three times, they only arrived. The cold starter platter didn't have the items listed on the menu (no calamari salad, even though it was advertised), and drinks only arrived after asking three times.

Nie wieder. Wir wurden in einen Zwischenbereich gesetzt, nicht draussen, nicht drinnen, neben unserem Tisch war eine Art Anrichte an der ständig mehrere Kellner herumstanden. Eine Unterhaltung war unmöglich, es sei denn dass das Personal jedes Wort mitgehört hätte. Es war mehr Personal als Gäste vorhanden, das Essen ein Graus, der Reis schmeckte als hätte man eine Flasche Ketchup drüber gekippt aber die Preise saftig. Es war uns eine Lehre, dorthin gehen wir nie mehr essen.

A real treat – Poseidon is always worth a visit! We ate at Poseidon again today and, as always, it was an absolute hit! My wife had the Mycenae platter with gyros and a meat skewer - wonderfully seasoned, tender and grilled to perfection. I had the Bifteki, which was also sensationally delicious, juicy and full of flavor. The highlight at the end: The house greeting was Greek yogurt with caramelized carrots - an unusual but incredibly tasty combination that thrilled us both. These sweet pickled carrots had nothing to do with the classic carrot taste - a little dessert work of art! The service was attentive and warm, and the atmosphere was, as always, pleasantly familiar. We are already looking forward to the next visit. Absolutely clear recommendation!

We've been coming back for years. The food is very tasty and the portions are really big. My highlight is the grilled octopus. The staff is also very accommodating and happy to fulfill any special requests. Price-performance is absolutely fine. With a baby, I spontaneously didn't see a changing table in the toilet area. Since the restaurant is always busy, there is a certain amount of noise. Sitting in the front area and in the booth is a little more comfortable than on the raised area in the middle of the restaurant.

Food is ok, nothing special, for the price you can ask for more quality, the store used to be better. Greek dessert bougatsa was served warmed up, was inedible and very expensive, I told the boss where he personally came to collect and asked if everything was ok, but he wasn't interested, he turned away very arrogantly. The worst thing I found was that he and his employees smoke at the bar and walk around the place with cigarettes; smoking is forbidden in restaurants!

Since we couldn't find a Greek restaurant in our holiday destination, we found one in Hennef. We weren't disappointed! The welcome was warm! The menu left nothing to be desired. We ordered "Sufla-Feta". Simply fantastically tasty and great quality meat and delicious fries as a side dish. The side salad was also very tasty, as was the tzatziki. Before and after there was an ouzo on the house and then a delicious piece of Revani. We would have loved to take the restaurant with us to Wesel! Thank you for the nice evening!

Wir waren mit einen Gesellschaft von 15 Personen im Restaurant und wurden bei der Abrechnung regelrecht über den Tisch gezogen.13.50€ für Mayonnaise ist schon ein Starkes Stück. Auch der auf der Karte Ausgewiesene Salat wurde bei keinem zum Essen gereicht. Als man beim Bezahlen Rückfragen hatte wurde man direkt angegangen. Hier werden wir nie wieder Essen gehen.

Nach langer Anreise wurde uns gesagt das unser Gutschein nur nach Reservierung eingelöst werden könnte, Schließlich hätte man 400 Gutscheine ausgegeben und wenn alle zusammen kämen wäre es ein Kaos. Das Lokal war bis auf 2 besetzte Tische lehr.!!!!!! Aber wir könnten ja gerne ohne den Gutschein Essen ! Wenn wir also ohne Gutschein Essen und den höheren Preis zahlen wäre es kein Problem. War schon sehr enttäuschend sowas zu hören, Der Appetit ist uns in diesem Lokal vergangen, Den Gutschein werden wir hier nicht einlösen.

Das Personal war ok, der Chef absolut unfreundlich. Essen war ok, jedoch habe ich zu günstigeren Preisen wesentlich besser griechisch gegessen. Es gab einen Salat als Gruß aus der Küche. Den hätte man gerne weglassen können oder selber ein Dressing machen. Es hat sehr nach fertigem geschmeckt und war extrem salzig. Der Gastraum sieht teilweise abgeranzt aus wobei das am wenigsten der Grund war, warum ich nicht nochmal kommen würde. Der Chef hat am Tresen geraucht und nach dem Besuch haben unsere Anziehsachen absolut ekelhaft nach Rauch gerochen. Auch in der Küche wurde geraucht. Ein absolutes No-Go! Lustiger weise klebt am Eingang ein dickes Schild mit durchgestrichener Zigarette. Was für mich in einem Restaurant zudem nicht geht sind Tiere im Gastraum. Ich will dort mein Essen genießen und da sind Tiere mir einfach zu unhygienisch. Ich würde niemandem empfehlen dort essen zu gehen.

We had dinner at “Poseidon” about 10 days ago. It was a very nice evening. Great service. Prompt, friendly and accommodating. You get personal recommendations if you don't really know what you want. It all happens patiently and sometimes funny. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was very rich and very tasty. The price is absolutely reasonable. We shared the starter. My friends had a fish platter and were totally blown away. It also looked very, very tasty. Unfortunately, I don't like fish. I had a meat dish, which was also very, very tasty. Conclusion: all thumbs up. We'll be back soon and with great pleasure.

wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren in dieses Restaurant und waren immer zufrieden mit dem Essen und dem Preisleistungsverhältnis.Das hat sich nun komplett geändert: die Preise wurden um ein Vielfaches erhöht und die Qualität sowie die Portionen lässt zu wünschen übrig.Des weiteren ist nun schon mehrfach passiert, dass wir unseren vorher reservierten Tisch nicht bekommen haben, weil er schon von anderen besetzt war.... und gar nicht spaßig fanden wir es, dass unsere Essensreste die wir nach Hause nehmen wollten. einfach anderen Gästen mitgegeben wurden...auf die seit kurzem mangelnde Sauberkeit und Hygiene möchte ich nicht weiter eingehen.

Unfortunately, our last visit to Poseidon was quite a disaster. Not only was the air so smokey that our eyes watered, but the food also left a lot to be desired. For the price the quality just isn't good enough. It's more like snack food and it's just too expensive for that. In addition, one of the dishes was extremely burnt or something similar and looked barely edible. When this was brought up, people just smiled and nodded condescendingly. All in all, we were very disappointed with Poseidon this time.

We had dinner here at Christmas with a large party. The food was really very good, the meat cooked just right. The service was great, always asked if everything was OK, etc. Why only 3 stars? Well, since we were traveling with several families, the 2 families who arrived first were given an ouzo, but the ones who arrived slightly late didn't. Another point is that the entire restaurant was filled with smoke from frying/cooking. Of course the smell was also part of it. Now comes something that was very important to me. We had to say beforehand, shortly after making the reservation, what we were going to eat that day. One dish was served with tzatziki even though it was ordered without. When this was noted, the blame was placed directly on the person who placed all the orders. The error was only discovered when the order list was shown. When I then paid for my meal, I praised the food very much because it was true, but gave a suggestion for improvement which was directly received by the owner (?) as negative, which was not what I meant at all, and was met with a kind of "Yeah, yeah "You just be quiet" waved away. I honestly don't think I'll go here again.

You can eat well here, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Just sat down, we were immediately given an ouzo. I had a bifteki with potato slices and salad. I hadn't eaten this in a long time and I really enjoyed it. There was a lot of meat and the potato slices were relatively fatty, similar to French fries. Everything's okay, but I've had enough for a few years now. Next time I will order salad. The restaurant is relatively large and comfortably furnished. We didn't see any parking spaces.

One of the best Greek restaurants in the Cologne Bonn region. Beautiful gastronomy with a lucrative outdoor area. Rich menu. All very tasty. Well chilled drinks. Plus Greek wines. Almost all dishes come with a large salad. The staff is very attentive.

We got food there a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we weren't thrilled. The gyro was (at least for us) a disaster in terms of taste. The meat was tough and barely seasoned. The fries as a side dish were very few and unfortunately also quite soggy. Our son didn't want to touch his portion at all. The salad was dressed with vinegar and oil, but with a slice of cucumber and a quarter of a tomato, a few corn kernels and a few green leaves, it wasn't worth the money in my opinion. We paid almost 40 euros for 2 gyros with a large portion of fries. And unfortunately in our eyes it was just standard snack food. What a shame!
