I remembered the restaurant better (possibly due to a change of ownership). The food was rather mediocre. The "salad bar" was ridiculous; I've never seen anything like it. It was very unappetizing. I think the owners aren't experts; unfortunately, anyone can open a restaurant these days without knowing anything about cooking. The ambiance was bland and dirty, as was the cutlery. There were communication problems with ordering because the waitress didn't speak German well and seemed very disinterested. They weren't particularly helpful, and they were happy to be on their phones. All in all, it had nothing to do with Greek food or Greek friendliness. We won't be going back.

I don't even know where to begin... We rented the adjoining room for our class reunion and ordered a buffet. When we tried to organize it with the owner, we had to wait a long time until he finally made time for us. The waitress repeatedly told us he was too busy in the kitchen (and the place was almost empty, and those who were there were already eating). When he finally arrived, he was very friendly and offered us a really good buffet selection at a price that seemed reasonable... Then the real day came. CATASTROPHE!!! The waitress would definitely have been better off at a barracks. It all started with her. The food was anything but good and definitely not worth the money. We had to use the same cutlery for the starter and main course, and heaven forbid you didn't. Sometimes you waited in vain for a drink, and when you went to the bar, you were immediately told to sit down at your seat. Sometimes, you were even served your drink in the same glass. In the end, many people wanted to pay with a card (which, after all, is almost standard practice in restaurants) and were told that wasn't possible. That's unacceptable these days. Unfortunately, I had to give it one star... But actually, there's still far too many here.

I went to the Paseidon restaurant several times - we celebrated a friend’s birthday, we just had dinner with friends. I liked the restaurant because there is a good assortment of food: several types of meat and kebabs, fish, salads, pizza, dessert, an excellent selection of wines. Prices very good and affordable. The atmosphere is cozy, calm, the music is pleasant. I think I will visit this restaurant again.

We've eaten there several times and unfortunately didn't know that the owner had changed. The salad buffet is no longer there. The portions were very small and the price/performance ratio is no longer good. The meat on the skewer was sliced ​​so thinly that it was very dry. There were more onions than meat in the gyro; only the meatballs were tasty. The service didn't take us seriously when we said something about it and loudly gossiped about us at the buffet. The result is that we will NEVER come back and don't recommend it. 11 guests with us on a Saturday evening really says it all.

The steak fries were cheap fries, the salad was no longer a salad bar but two leaves of iceberg lettuce, four carrot strips, a thin slice of cucumber, and half a cocktail tomato, all drowned in balsamic vinegar. The gyro was buried in onions and greasy, the chicken skewers were microfilm-cut and accordingly dry. If we hadn't ordered Metaxa sauce with it, we wouldn't have been able to eat it at all. The waitress didn't respond to our complaint at all; she simply didn't care. But people at the counter made fun of us. The manager didn't have the courage to face it! Overall, the service was very poor and unfriendly. It also wasn't exactly warm. The heating was turned off...and that's despite the outside temperature. It's not a cozy place to eat!!! No wonder there were only 11 guests on a Saturday evening. I'm curious to see how long this "restaurant" will last.

Were there with a larger group. Unfortunately, the service was sometimes lackluster at work. Food (Gyros with Metaxa sauce, whereby the sauce was everything, more like tomato sauce, but no Metaxa sauce) was only lukewarm even though it came from the oven and the meat was very fatty. When asked about this, the answer was that gyros were always mixed. Well, if you say something like that as a non-Greek operator of a Greek restaurant, it shows that you probably have little idea.

Had dinner there last night with a gourmet block. The food was actually okay so far. According to the menu I ordered a salad plate with 2 steaks. Hmmm, how was it here? Good question. We were there with a voucher pad at lunchtime, around 1:00 p.m. That's why there was only the lunch menu. So far no problem. It can happen and maybe we just had a bad day, but it shouldn't happen. Now for the food, that was ok, soup as a starter, main course and ice cream for dessert. Everything was good, we both had a plate of gyros, meat skewers and fries. Plus salad from the buffet. Everything was good. The tone urgently needs to be worked on, that was what was most annoying.

I ate there yesterday with my mother. The portions for €23 are getting smaller and smaller and the three pieces of meat were very small. It was a grilled plate with lamb with pork and rump steak that was very thin and well done, so it was quite dry. I think it was the Acropolis plate If you're a struggling person, this place isn't recommended. They do have a disabled parking space, but it's not usable. According to the boss, the mayor has forbidden opening the barrier to get to this disabled parking space. Something like that isn't possible. We've been there a lot the previous owners but we definitely won't come again, firstly because of the disabled parking space, secondly the food used to be better, maybe the portion was so small because of the gourmet block but that can't be the case, I won't be coming back

White wine was also so-so la ..the glass for 5 euros..the service got annoyed very quickly!

Starters were okay, main courses not at all. In my opinion, the sauce from the baked gyro was a finished product and didn't taste good at all. We were there with several people, only 1 portion of fries came with 2 dishes and the last dish for one of us came much later than the others. Then the missing portion of fries finally arrived. They are thin, conventional fries and not steakhouse fries as advertised, and not properly fried. We would have had dessert, but the service wasn't good at all. We were there earlier when another owner was there and it was great. Now you can save yourself the trip there. We won't go there anymore.

We were there about 2 years ago and it was great. Now, however, the restaurant is pretty dingy, the salad bar isn't really cleaned when it opens, just refilled. Plates were completely missing. The gyro is flabby, fatty and the Metaxa sauce is underground. We have rarely eaten such bad Greek food. It's a real shame, but we won't be coming back.

The sign in front of the restaurant is very dirty, there is no notice in the display case, and there are some Christmas decorations on the window sills. The dining room has seen better times, the atmosphere is not very inviting. The salad bar is 0815 and was 3/4 empty. What didn't work at all was that the staff were arguing loudly and different music was playing from two devices at the same time. It was our first time in this restaurant (through the Schlemmerblock) and the bad impression started right before the (locked) door. From the outside, the restaurant looks like it is no longer in operation. After we called the restaurant after a short wait, the door was unlocked for us, which they had probably forgotten. However, no one apologized for it. Luckily it didn't look as bad inside as it did from the outside, but it was still very old and a bit unkempt. Some of the remains of the Christmas decorations can still be found (beginning of March). We were a bit unlucky with the seat, we sat right at the counter and heard every phone call and exchange between the staff. In principle it's not dramatic, but personally I would have perhaps made the first reservation of the evening a little further away from the hustle and bustle of work and the telephone. Since we were the first guests, the service was of course very quick. You should put together your own side salad from a small salad buffet. You can choose from iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes, as well as a few canned ingredients such as beans, corn and cabbage. Unfortunately very far away from Greece, freshness and quality. For the starter we chose grilled feta, which tasted okay. For the main course we both decided on a plate with gyros, a souflaki skewer, “steakhouse fries” and “tzatziki”. The souflaki skewer was the best in terms of taste, a bit dry but edible. The “steakhouse” fries were simply cheap, thin frozen fries. Unfortunately the gyros was a flop for us. We had reserved a table this evening. We can't say anything about the food because we left after half an hour. After this time we still hadn't received a menu. The restaurant was full but something like that just doesn't work. After the food was distributed to other tables, the three of them stood behind the counter. Nobody was interested.

My family and I were there at lunchtime and used a voucher from “Schlemmerblock” during our visit. The location, a hall-like functional building, didn't seem very appealing to me from the outside. But inside it was nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. There is nothing to complain about about the food. Guests can prepare their own salad at the self-service counter. Grilled sheep cheese and tzatziki with bread were great and so was my Rhodes plate.

Today we went back to Merchweiler to Poseidon after a long time. We then quickly discovered that the owner had changed. Beforehand you could help yourself to the salad bar, which consisted of 80% canned food. In addition, the salad servers were greasy. Food then took 50 minutes to arrive. We didn't like it there. Rice was overcooked, cheap fries that weren't fried properly and the only vegetable side dish was fried eggplant. There was no proper invoice either, everything was written on a torn sheet of paper. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Typische Gerichte die man in einem griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Freundlicher Service, angemessene Preise. Sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch.

Essen war sehr gut, Salat in der Salatbar war frisch und knackig, freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
