I returned to Pizzeria Renzo in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the experience was once again excellent. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the prices are fair. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and attentive to guests' needs. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was very quick, with almost no wait. The waiter immediately recognized that we wanted to pack the leftover food for the children without us having to say so - a rare gesture that shows professionalism and customer focus. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, perfect for families or groups of friends. Each time I have experienced the same high quality of service and food. I wholeheartedly recommend Pizzeria Renzo to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and a special experience in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The restaurant is very busy and rightly so. The service staff is very friendly and despite the many guests, everyone always gets a smile. We chose tagliatelle with different ingredients and both portions had plenty of asparagus and ham as well as chicken and mushrooms. Absolutely fair prices. An absolute recommendation.

We recently had a late-night meal here while we were on vacation and we felt very welcomed and the food was outstanding. I think it's the best Italian food I've ever had!

Fast service, delicious Italian food

Shared the carpaccio as an appetizer and then shared a Diablo pizza. used the pepper oil on their fresh bread and pizza to give it more spice.

We ordered and picked up twice, the food was fresh, prepared on time and we can only recommend it. The pizzeria was also nicely decorated. Nice staff, would love to come back. Price performance was perfect, in contrast to all other restaurants. 2 meals to pick up around €22 We would order again at any time and would also like to stay for dinner. Keep it up!!! Stay true to your price/performance ratio!

We're currently on vacation here, and we stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance. We received a very warm welcome, the service is excellent, the food is absolutely delicious, the pizzas are sensational—I've never tasted anything so good! 10 stars +++ The homemade pasta is a dream :-))

Pizza was actually very good. It was a nice thin pizza and the pasta with red sauce also was lovely. I don’t speak any German so it was wonderful that a lot of the staff spoke English

Half the menu was available. We did wish they had more pictures of the food or better descriptions. Overall, it was really good.It was spacious.We got our food, and it was warm. It was kid friendly.There was no smoking inside. Our waitress was amazing. She was our waitress as well as the receptionist at the hotel, so she was multitasking. She did an amazing job.

Even if the restaurant looks a little old, I can definitely recommend a visit. 🙂 the service was friendly, fast and flexible 🍕 The pizzas are large and very good. If it were up to me, I would give 7 stars for service, because never in my life have I seen the service and preparation of the food go so quickly and still taste super delicious. It was quick and tasty the first time and even better the second time. I recommend the tiramisu with pistachios, an absolute highlight. After less than 2 minutes I was served the tiramisu and after less than 5 minutes the main course.

After a day of skiing, the Renzo is just the thing: conveniently connected - it's only 10 minutes from the train station - the size and quality of the dishes leave nothing to be desired. When you finally receive the bill, it quickly becomes clear: This is where you come back!

Very nice and competent service. Pizza, bruschetta, meat dishes, impeccable and tasty. Unfortunately it's always very full and therefore so loud that you can hardly have a conversation... This is the only negative thing... Otherwise highly recommended!

A very nice, easily accessible restaurant in Garmisch. Nicely located in the city center. This Italian restaurant has great value for money, a menu that has something for everyone and the waiting time for your food is maybe 5-10 minutes. Top! The price is also right. Large portions for mostly under €22 are standard here. Only the volume could be a little quieter. But all in all one of the best Italians in Germany and I've been to many restaurants! We were there as a couple on Valentine's Day and absolutely loved it! Despite the tables being fully booked, the staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. The portions were large from the starter to the dessert, the pizza had plenty of toppings and was extremely tasty! The tiramisu is the best we have ever eaten, a clear recommendation. We'd love to come back on our next vacation :)

The food was, as always, very good. On Saturday evening it was very hectic and loud again. Waiters dart through the aisles and put the food in front of you even though you haven't finished the starter yet. This restlessness and hecticness is transferred to the atmosphere.

All in all, a very successful evening with more than just good food. Today the four of us spontaneously visited the Renzo and yes, what can you say? It was more than worth it, we haven't had such good, freshly prepared food in a long time. From the starter to the dessert everything was excellent. Clear thumbs up ✌️🫶🏻. The only small drawback was the service; The restaurant was very busy for probably half of our stay and as a result the service was a bit slack, but that can be forgiven given the quality 🙃. Really great value for money.

In addition, the excellent atmosphere and finishing of the premises give a feeling of comfort and warmth. We loved this pizzeria last year, so we came back last week. The food and service were great, so we reserved a table at Pizzeria Renzo for our last evening in Garmisch But when we arrived, the place was full and no one cared about us. We told an employee that we had a reservation. We were then brushed off in an unfriendly manner: “You’re not the only ones who have reserved.” An absolute no-go! That's not how you treat guests. We left the restaurant immediately – it was definitely our last visit. It's a shame, but we can't recommend this restaurant.

I was there for a Margherita pizza. The taste of the pizza was just ok. However, it was full of salt. So if you have high blood pressure this is definitely not your place. I went to this restaurant based on the reviews since the rates were quite high. For me the restaurant has a great potential and maybe this was an accident. I would not recommend this place.

Reservations are useless! Actually a good Italian restaurant. We made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday. Arrived at 6:55pm and then we were told everything was full. I said we had reservations. Answer: 'Everything is full and others have made reservations too.' I've never heard anything like that.

Pizza with Tyrolean bacon... finally a variant that tastes fantastic with rocket. And as if that's hard to top, I take off all the hats I have to the service. Being able to cope with the huge rush like this is extraordinary. And always polite and extremely flexible. Highly recommended!!!

Well, that's how it works. It was recommended to me by the hotel. It was neither bad nor good. It was ok. Which for me means I won't go there anymore. Ordered onion soup as a curiosity (something you don't often see at Italians) and it was just ok. The pizza blended in with the taste. The service answers questions without really knowing whether it is so or not. I asked if the tiramisu was really Italian made. The answer was yes. After asking another question about it, it became clear that she had no idea whether it was done that way or not.

Very, very tasty pizza and nice service at moderate prices. Highly recommended.

Terrible service - we got hardly a hello from a server. We first got pizza, then risotto and minute later soups. So by the time we finished the soups the rest was almost cold. Shrimps in the risotto were too much done - hard. I left more than half untouched. No one stopped by to check how we like everything. At other tables serves kept bringing the orders wrong - changing tables. And we waited for someone to notice that we wanna pay for more than 10 minutes.

Best pizzeria in Garmisch. Always worth a visit during the World Cup. Super nice staff. Best pizza and really Italian.

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the portions, and the flavors taste fresh and natural. The space between the tables offers good privacy. Parking in front can sometimes be full, but it is available along the streets.

Were in transit and came in here without any great expectations. The pizzas were really big and tasted very good. The service was also super friendly and everything went smoothly at lunchtime.

We had a truly unique experience enjoying pizza here. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect for relaxing and savoring the food, and the well-maintained bathrooms are an excellent bonus that enhances the overall experience at the restaurant.

Excellent Italian in the heart of Garmisch. We stopped by spontaneously while passing through to have a quick dinner and were extremely pleasantly surprised. A very friendly, fast and attentive service brought us 2 excellent starters and 2 excellent pizzas. We had the best bruschetta and one of the best pizzas ever there. We can recommend the store 100%.

What else can you say here other than wow? The pizza is one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. The service was phenomenal, as soon as we sat down we had the tickets and drinks and food didn't take long to arrive. There is no need to talk about the prices because they are absolutely proportional to what you get here. Always a pleasure and an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a delicious pizza in Garmisch!

This place clearly discriminates against foreigners. We are in town for the weekend to explore the local sights and were excited to try this place after reading all the positive reviews. While the food was decent, the service could be better. We made reservations ahead of time but when we arrived, the host just motioned for us to sit in the back corner of the restaurant while they would walk other guests to their tables. Our main server kept avoiding our table after taking our order and handed off anything coming to our table to other servers. Different servers were sent to our table and no one ever checked on our table but they were happy to check on other tables. They completely forgot our second order of drinks and were not apologetic about it when we had to flag someone down and order them again.
