Were there for dinner. The ambience in the evening is super relaxed, familiar, warm and soothing. Comfortable furniture, pleasant volume. Super friendly service and very tasty food. So far one of the absolute highlights in Garmisch Partenkirchen. Absolute recommendation.

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant in GAP at short notice. According to Google it had the most reviews and rightly so!!! The owner himself was in the restaurant with customers and was in a really good mood ☺️. As a starter there was bruschetta, super delicious!!! The main course was very tasty, the pizza was super thin but generously topped and the pasta with porcini mushrooms and beef fillet tips was perfect. The service was a bit busy that evening, but (according to the boss) it wasn't noticeable. As a nightcap there was a grappa or amatetto on the house. There are enough parking spaces on site ☺️

We were there during our vacation and relied on Google reviews when choosing a restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the ambience and service, which the food unfortunately can't match. The kitchen was not able to deliver the pizza and the other dish at the same time and the service staff only realized very late that it is inconvenient if two people cannot even eat at the same time. Unfortunately, it felt very much like a dismissal. We were also assigned an impossible place at the garden table with garden chairs without a poster. The pizza was really big and delicious, so I didn't manage to eat it all; The rest of the pizza was only given to me in aluminum foil when I asked, which didn't really do the Parma ham any good. Good for a quick meal, but not for a nice evening.

Absolute disaster, I loved visiting the pizzeria and it was always very good. Today the food was so bad that I could only eat two forks and left everything ugh. The waiter bought us expensive wine. We wanted to at least drink a glass of wine in peace, but that wasn't possible because 5 after he brought us wine he said the table was reserved from 7.15 p.m. and it was already 7.05 p.m. so we had 10 minutes to drink wine and leave. Sorry but that's the last thing, we'll never go to shit loading again.

A great restaurant, very good pizza and super nice waitresses who are on their toes. Unfortunately the acoustics aren't the best, very loud when it's full, otherwise really great

Very tasty and at the same time inexpensive pizza. The staff was very friendly and at the end there was a nightcap/espresso on the house.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend it, which is a pity because I have been here many times and today I was disappointed. The antipasti had hair in it, the brusquetta had no spices, the toast was all wet and not crispy. The only thing that tasted good was pizza and seal. The waiter was not interested in us, he did not ask if we needed anything or maybe a coffee and dessert. We waited 20 minutes for the bill. We went to the bar ourselves to pay. We work in the catering industry ourselves and we know personally what things should look like and taste like. Honestly.... I'm sorry because I highly recommended this place.

Ordered pizza to take away on site. Pizza was good so far, but after a drink was forced on us, I was warned not to eat my pizza on site, even though the drinks were only brought after the pizza. Too bad

Anyone who finds their way to Garmisch Partenkirchen should definitely eat here. In terms of ambience, the place is in the middle of the city, so there isn't much of a view. But that's not necessarily necessary here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We were greeted and shown to a table. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. By far one of the tastiest pizzas I've eaten. The pizza base was thin as it should be. You can tell that baking is done here in a stone oven. The pizza is also quite large and many people have the “leftover” packed away. Dear team, keep it up.

Renzo was recommended to us by a waiter who worked in the Drei Mohren Hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Myself and 10 of my friends visited Renzo for dinner and liked it so much we decided to spend the last evening of our holiday there. The price of the food and drink was very reasonable and the quality was very good. Portion size was very generous also. This was appreciated as we were on a walking holiday and had good appetites. The service was also very good. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. I had the seafood risotto, which was lovely, and I can definitely recommend the Chianti wine. I had the tiamisu for desert, which was also delicious.

We've been going to Renzo since 1980; the service is always equally friendly and accommodating; the food is excellent! We feel very comfortable at Renzo!

Great Italian. I had bruschetta for starters. If the bread had still been toasted, it would have been perfect. The tagliatelle with chanterelles and scampi were very tasty and the portion was really large. The staff are on point and very friendly. I was very satisfied all around, the prices are also completely okay.

Pizza and pasta very good, price/performance also good, except for the mixed salad, at € 6,- overpriced for what is on the plate, that's not possible.... Since the restaurant is busy and is located directly on a double-lane road, the noise level is very high...

So far so good, except the second meal was forgotten and only came when I was almost finished with my pizza. Not a word of apology as the second meal was brought too late.

I've been going to Renzo Essen with my family for about 10 years. The quality is very good, the price is reasonable, inexpensive for Garmisch. The service is very good 👍. I can only recommend this pizzeria.

This pasta platter with three different flavors really amazed me! Each dish seems simple, but the flavors are unique. Its pesto sauce noodles have almost no garlic flavor, but a strong aroma of herbs (surprisingly it is the lightest of the three noodles), while the white sauce pasta has a rich cheese flavor (no milky flavor). The red sauce pasta has a very rich flavor, with no meat but a smoky flavor. The tiramisu is very generous (the most important thing is that it is super delicious)! On my second day in GP Town, I went back to Restaurant Pizzeria Renzo for dinner (this restaurant is amazing!) I told the boss that I wanted to eat pizza this time. The boss said that the pizza should be paired with red wine, and then recommended me a sparkling red wine called lambrusco dell'emilia produced in central Italy. This is the best red wine I have ever drunk in my life! I will visit Restaurant Pizzeria Renzo again this Christmas holiday, this restaurant has been included in my favorite shop❤️

Unfortunately, the ambience is only 3 stars because of the large intersection in the immediate vicinity. But it doesn't really matter because the food makes everything better 👍

So the food was bad, the pizzas were burnt, the salami was gray, the cheese was like rubber, not a good pizza, the pizza bread also had no taste but was full of oil. My noodles were extremely greasy. We wanted to order another drink but were simply ignored and the service just said we weren't at school and didn't come... The atmosphere of the restaurant is also dirty and everything is full of mosquitoes... That's not the way to do it, but it doesn't matter to them, the tourists only come once and then nothing more.

i ordered the fresh salmon with lemon sauce…it was really good except the sauce was a bit too lemony which ruined the salmon’s taste a little…the broccoli was also a tiny bit cold and the potatoes needed a touch of salt. but the service was amazing and the atmosphere as well.

Moderate drink prices, except for delayed schnapps. Underberg 4.50 euros, exactly the same as a Remy Martin!

We came here last week during a week night as it was one of the few places still serving dinner at 9.30pm - one of its few perks. The visible part of the kitchen and dining area were full of flies. Even considering it is summer and it is expected that there will be some insects entering through open windows, etc. the amount of flies here was concerning and unappetising. The staff was dismissive or unattentive at best and the food just average. I really don't understand the amazing reviews and would not recommend this place.

The food was great and the people nice but the noice was really loud. Obviously a popular place as it was quite crowded. But perhaps the restaurant could use som noice reducing interiour design. I would still rekommend it because the food (pizza, grilled beef steak, tiramisu) was lovely.
