Very crowded in a pleasant way, good food, very Nice staff, giving us 2 OWN made limoncello each, the best tiramisu, so we went back the next day ;-)

We were there as a couple on Valentine's Day and absolutely loved it! Despite the tables being fully booked, the staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. The portions were large from the starter to the dessert, the pizza had plenty of toppings and was extremely tasty! The tiramisu is the best we have ever eaten, a clear recommendation. We'd love to come back on our next vacation :)

The food was, as always, very good. On Saturday evening it was very hectic and loud again. Waiters dart through the aisles and put the food in front of you even though you haven't finished the starter yet. This restlessness and hecticness is transferred to the atmosphere.

Excellent food at a reasonable price, pleasant service and a nice environment. It's right off the main road, so easily accessible.

All in all, a very successful evening with more than just good food. Today the four of us spontaneously visited the Renzo and yes, what can you say? It was more than worth it, we haven't had such good, freshly prepared food in a long time. From the starter to the dessert everything was excellent. Clear thumbs up ✌️🫶🏻. The only small drawback was the service; The restaurant was very busy for probably half of our stay and as a result the service was a bit slack, but that can be forgiven given the quality 🙃. Really great value for money.

Italy in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Excellent food, truly Italian dishes, prepared in truly Italian quality. In addition, the excellent atmosphere and finishing of the premises give a feeling of comfort and warmth. The whole thing is complemented by excellent service, which creates an amazing, Italian, family and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely come back! 😊

We loved this pizzeria last year, so we came back last week. The food and service were great, so we reserved a table at Pizzeria Renzo for our last evening in Garmisch But when we arrived, the place was full and no one cared about us. We told an employee that we had a reservation. We were then brushed off in an unfriendly manner: “You’re not the only ones who have reserved.” An absolute no-go! That's not how you treat guests. We left the restaurant immediately – it was definitely our last visit. It's a shame, but we can't recommend this restaurant.

I was there for a Margherita pizza. The taste of the pizza was just ok. However, it was full of salt. So if you have high blood pressure this is definitely not your place. I went to this restaurant based on the reviews since the rates were quite high. For me the restaurant has a great potential and maybe this was an accident. I would not recommend this place.

Reservations are useless! Actually a good Italian restaurant. We made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday. Arrived at 6:55pm and then we were told everything was full. I said we had reservations. Answer: 'Everything is full and others have made reservations too.' I've never heard anything like that.

Pizza with Tyrolean bacon... finally a variant that tastes fantastic with rocket. And as if that's hard to top, I take off all the hats I have to the service. Being able to cope with the huge rush like this is extraordinary. And always polite and extremely flexible. Highly recommended!!!

Well, that's how it works. It was recommended to me by the hotel. It was neither bad nor good. It was ok. Which for me means I won't go there anymore. Ordered onion soup as a curiosity (something you don't often see at Italians) and it was just ok. The pizza blended in with the taste. The service answers questions without really knowing whether it is so or not. I asked if the tiramisu was really Italian made. The answer was yes. After asking another question about it, it became clear that she had no idea whether it was done that way or not.

Terrible service - we got hardly a hello from a server. We first got pizza, then risotto and minute later soups. So by the time we finished the soups the rest was almost cold. Shrimps in the risotto were too much done - hard. I left more than half untouched. No one stopped by to check how we like everything. At other tables serves kept bringing the orders wrong - changing tables. And we waited for someone to notice that we wanna pay for more than 10 minutes.

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the portions, and the flavors taste fresh and natural. The space between the tables offers good privacy. Parking in front can sometimes be full, but it is available along the streets.

Were in transit and came in here without any great expectations. The pizzas were really big and tasted very good. The service was also super friendly and everything went smoothly at lunchtime.

Even though we arrived late for dinner, we were served very tasty pizza. Thanks to the team :)

This is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten - an absolute highlight in terms of taste! The dough was perfect, the ingredients were fresh and harmoniously balanced – a real taste experience. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive and made the visit even more pleasant. The prices are absolutely fair and more than appropriate for the outstanding quality. We had a truly unique experience enjoying pizza here. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect for relaxing and savoring the food, and the well-maintained bathrooms are an excellent bonus that enhances the overall experience at the restaurant.

It was January 11, 2025. I really liked it, the portions are large and tasty. The room is not crowded, clean and tidy. I'd be happy to go again.

Excellent food and fantastic service. Risotto with mushrooms, carbonara and steak Renzo with mushroom sauce were very tasty. Nice atmosphere and, above all, very professional service. I recommend.

What else can you say here other than wow? The pizza is one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. The service was phenomenal, as soon as we sat down we had the tickets and drinks and food didn't take long to arrive. There is no need to talk about the prices because they are absolutely proportional to what you get here. Always a pleasure and an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a delicious pizza in Garmisch!

Excellent Italian in the heart of Garmisch. We stopped by spontaneously while passing through to have a quick dinner and were extremely pleasantly surprised. A very friendly, fast and attentive service brought us 2 excellent starters and 2 excellent pizzas. We had the best bruschetta and one of the best pizzas ever there. We can recommend the store 100%.

Although the restaurant was full, the food was prepared quickly but also tasted good. Friendly staff, fair prices, everything you need in the evening after a day in the mountains.

Dear Renzo team, Thank you for the delicious food and the price was perfect. Overall, there was really nothing to complain about. The only thing is that there was room for eight of us in a very narrow niche, but you can ignore that because everything else was so great. Please keep it up

This place clearly discriminates against foreigners. We are in town for the weekend to explore the local sights and were excited to try this place after reading all the positive reviews. While the food was decent, the service could be better. We made reservations ahead of time but when we arrived, the host just motioned for us to sit in the back corner of the restaurant while they would walk other guests to their tables. Our main server kept avoiding our table after taking our order and handed off anything coming to our table to other servers. Different servers were sent to our table and no one ever checked on our table but they were happy to check on other tables. They completely forgot our second order of drinks and were not apologetic about it when we had to flag someone down and order them again.

Best pizzeria north of the Alps

No chance without a reservation. No fixed service in the evening, if you reorder drinks the order gets lost, you don't ask how it tastes. You are also not interested in making an additional sale; you would rather occupy the next table. Numerous guests wait at the entrance for a free seat. I really wouldn't have wanted to sit there! (Guests stand right next to the tables at the entrance) Food doesn't come at the same time (there were only 3 of us and we all had the same starter!) My ravioli were tasty, although much more al dente than desired (1 minute more would have been great, then I wouldn't have had to cut them with a knife). Pizzas were really tasty. And the tiramisu is a DREAM.

The worst service. They lasted a lot bringing the dish, did not apologize for the bad service and it did not taste good. Only the coffee was good, nothing else. I do not recommend it!

So where should I start? You can say all kinds of things about this restaurant but unfortunately nothing good. We were in many shops in Garmisch: cafés, restaurants, pizza bistro - but we have never experienced anything so terribly bad, either in Garmisch or in our whole history of visiting the restaurant. Unpleasant, bitchy waiter; dishes smelling of fat; fish that has not been properly cleaned from the inside; Tomato soup with diced pork where you wouldn't expect it at all; bread not baked to the end; moderate tasting pizza. You will be happy to find all of this in this restaurant, but if you are a gourmet and prefer to pay more, eat smaller portions, but with quality and full taste - please don't go there. Yes, you can get huge portions for less money but hello! Unless you are a farmer and get there after working in the fields, you don't need it. You want to have a food experience for the money and not just be stuffed with food that tastes so mediocre.

We were traveling home from Italy and were happy to have found a restaurant that still served warm food at 9:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the restaurant turned out to be a complete disaster. The service is unfriendly, gives pat answers, grabs the menu out of your hand and slams the plate of food on the table and, best of all, you are asked to pay and leave at 10:30 p.m. (opening hours until 11 p.m.). . I have never experienced anything so unfriendly, cheeky and unprofessional in a restaurant. I would never eat there again.

We were craving pizza during our trip through Germany and we did a quick search and stopped by here. The bruschetta was amazing and the pizza was fantastic. We felt like we stepped out of Germany and into Italy. I would highly recommend eating here if you’re ever in the area.

I went to Renzo's for the first time today on the recommendation of friends and I have to say, the Quattro Stagioni pizza immediately entered my top 3 of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The dough is amazing, the cheese is great and the other ingredients were also very tasty! The pizza came super quickly and the red wine (Merlot) was also delicious and for 6 euros the glass was very well filled. At the end we were allowed to choose a digestif or an espresso. This is no longer common practice everywhere! The prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant is simply furnished but quite cozy. I'd love to come back here when I'm in the area again! Keep it up!

Fantastic restaurant. The waitress was really kind to welcome us despite the late hour and the service was very quick. The pizza was far above expectations. Maybe the local ingredients were different from the Italian ones but it was still excellent.

Extremely friendly staff. Large selection of first-class food, drinks and desserts. Always very well attended, which of course speaks for the good quality. The operator always maintains an overview, even when the workload is heavy. Price/performance ratio absolutely fine. Here you feel welcome as a guest and every euro is well invested...

Pizza was good (base could be better), pasta was very good. Service absolutely top. Super fast, but really very friendly. Really great! About the atmosphere: it's not an Italian place to eat romantically. If you don't expect that, then it's totally fine. I would describe it as pleasantly lively.
