We were 'just' there for pizza. It was absolutely fantastic! Friendly service and a truly delicious, fresh pizza. If we're ever in Oberstdorf again, we'll definitely be back. Price/performance: Top-notch

Centrally located Italian restaurant with an extensive lunch menu. Both the pizza and pasta dishes were delicious, as was the side salad. Service was attentive and polite. We'd gladly return. The price/performance ratio was also excellent.

We eat here at least once a year. We had carpaccio and pasta dishes, as well as tiramisu. We were very satisfied with everything; the portions were filling, the pasta was al dente and very flavorful, and the tiramisu was one of the best we've ever eaten. The service was extremely friendly. We find the value for money very satisfactory, so keep it up! We weren't entirely impressed with the wine (Primitivo).

We had a modified pizza with small truffle slices, which was €10 more and labeled as a cake. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and got spaghetti with meat sauce. It was our first and last visit!

We received a very friendly welcome and service. The food (2 pizzas, saltimbocca, and tagliatelle with truffle) was excellent. The side salads and dessert – tiramisu – were also excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly return.

Highly recommended! We arrived late in the evening and received a warm welcome. The restaurant usually closes at 10 p.m., so we stayed a little longer, but this wasn't a problem at all. The food is of the highest quality. Whether it was the starter, main course, or dessert, everything was delicious. An Italian restaurant where both pasta and pizza are excellent, of course, always the best, and that was certainly the case here. Unfortunately, we didn't take a picture of the delicious bruschetta. We'd be happy to come back.

We were there during the 2025 summer holidays and enjoyed delicious meals on two evenings. A very popular restaurant, and rightly so, with friendly service and excellent food.

For us, a vacation in Oberstdorf also means having Italian food at least once at Pizzeria Montagna! The staff is super friendly, and the food is always excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Top restaurant in Oberstdorf. Not just the best Italian restaurant, but the best of all. Here, the food is cooked with love, focusing on quality rather than quantity. The truffle risotto and homemade lasagna are excellent. The panna cottage is outstanding and unparalleled! The delicious Valpolicella Ripaso makes everything a feast.

Excellent pizza and a chic ambience

We had reserved a table for six and were seated very close together. Our request to be seated at the slightly larger neighboring table was declined, stating that it was reserved. The restaurant was empty on a Tuesday and remained so. The service was generally very unfriendly; plates were literally being pulled out from under the cutlery while we were eating. The food was average at best. The restaurant has the ambiance of an aging bakery-café.

A real taste experience! The fish platter was amazing – fresh, juicy and simply perfectly seasoned. You can really taste how much love goes into the kitchen here. The service was warm and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. An absolute recommendation for anyone who loves good food

We had pre-ordered fresh 🐟 “Loup de Mer” the day before! The next day we were served beautifully prepared fish, lots of vegetables, baked potatoes and a great sauce 👍

Absolutely unfriendly service. There was disturbing rap music playing, not appropriate for an Italian restaurant. Pizza was swampy. Pasta carbonara had beaten egg whites in it and was bland. The table had already been cleared and someone was still eating. Bill would be stirred onto the table. Really not recommended

As a starter I had the classic mussels in white wine sauce and I have to say, I have rarely had such good mussels served and they were really very tasty. For the main course there was the Pizza Funghi, which rounded off the dinner excellently. The staff is really very friendly and knows how to deal with guests! All in all, I can only recommend it 😉

There were a lot of nice things there, like the A7 But you don't have to do it again The tiramisu was delicious and the pizza was also very passable, but neither the pata nor the salad nor the wine was really tasty.

We had a tuna pizza from the lunch menu for €9.90 each, which tasted good, and once a pennette with peas and cream sauce topped with cheese, which tasted a bit bland. Ambiance very tasteful, service nice. The unpleasant smell of the toilets is a sewage problem in the entire building, which the restaurateur cannot remedy, according to the notice.
