Best Italian food in Oberstdorf…our first stop when we are there!

We were there at 1:55 p.m. with 7 people. The restaurant usually closes at 2 p.m. The boss said that we would of course get something to eat. The food was super tasty and the service was very, very friendly. We can only say high praise for the kitchen and staff. Thank you very much 👍

Wir hatten bereits Ende August einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Als wir eintrafen, waren im vorderen Bereich des Restaurants zwar Tische frei, wir wurden aber in einen Nebenraum geführt, der einen sehr unaufgeräumten Eindruck machte (hier wurde u.a. auch Sitzkissen -vermutlich als Reserve- gelagert). Der Raum roch sehr muffig und der Tisch war ebenfalls nicht sauber. Wir baten um einen anderen Tisch, den wir dann auch im vorderen Bereich bekamen, Katzentisch ist noch freundlich ausgedrückt. Dieser Tisch war von uns nur zu nutzen, da wir nebeneinander saßen, da die andere Seite des Tisches von der Tür, die hinaus führte, blockiert war. Mit einem anderen Paar, welches zeitgleich mit uns eintraf, wurde ebenfalls so verfahren; auch diese waren mehr als unzufrieden und baten um einen anderen Tisch. Da wir mehr als verärgert waren, haben wir uns auf ein einfaches Essen -Pizza-beschränkt, das aber geschmacklich in Ordnung war.

Delicious pizza and very nice service

We've eaten here several times on vacation. But this time we didn't like it at all! At first it was manageably busy and we were still placed in the back room, of course not a problem in itself, but I don't find torn and stained seat cushions and tablecloths funny! This is unhygienic and unacceptable. The salad is really varied and there was a lot of it, which was good. The gnocci were a disappointment, the dough and the sauce were homemade and anything but tasty. When it was cleared away, the waitress asked if everything was tasty: we honestly admitted that the gnocci weren't tasty. The lady was ZERO interested in that, completely ignored her and left. It's a shame because it shows a complete lack of interest in the guests' satisfaction. It was an experience that we found so wrong that we no longer feel like being a guest in this restaurant... We have always been friendly and have a lot of understanding for this difficult industry, but that is not good behavior.

We ate here on vacation. I had the risotto with chanterelles, parmesan and truffles. Unfortunately, this dish was the worst meal of the holiday week and was heavy on my stomach. It's a shame - I really like risotto and truffles. Son and husband each had a pizza that was average. No recommendation from us!

Were there for dinner. The restaurant and beer garden were well attended. Food was tasty. We were also very satisfied with the service. There was nothing to complain about. Enjoy it.

One star deducted because a 0.3 l beer was ordered and billed for. 0.25 l was brought. You don't do it.

Very nice reception. Our table was already set (we had reserved in advance). The starter Antipasti Italiano is highly recommended, it was really delicious! The pasta dishes were also really good! The atmosphere is calm, cozy and pleasant! This restaurant is really recommended!

If you want to eat really well and Oberstdorf is full again, you won't be let down here and everything is very good, both the food and the very friendly service.

We weren't satisfied at all. We ordered 2 side salads with the “greasy” pizza. The menu said 4.50 euros for 1 salad (salad was also sandy) The bill came and we were deducted 7 euros for 1 salad. When asked why the high price... The 4.50 euros would only be for lunch. Nowhere on the menu did it say 7 euros for 1 salad! No accommodation. That was the first and last time we were there.

We had the pasta and pizza lunch menu. It was very tasty and we haven't had such good food in a long time. It is a nice, friendly, family-run restaurant that can only be recommended. Therefore I recommend everyone to eat there. We will come back. Price/performance was top!!

Arrived spontaneously without a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. We were immediately offered a free place. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. You don't have to wait long for the food and it tastes very good. This is how you imagine a perfect restaurant visit!

Very nicely decorated restaurant with great service. My wife and I both had noodles and they tasted great. The best, however, was the pistachio tiramisu, which I can only recommend.

Very nice restaurant! We are from Munich and happened to be nearby and spontaneously got a place. The food was fantastic. Best carpaccio best pasta :) The desserts were the highlight of the evening :) Next time we will go to Oberstdorf just to eat at this restaurant. The service and the shop owner were very, very nice, which isn't always the case :)

The pizza was very tasty, at least that's what the other reviews read, and we were really looking forward to a nice evening. Unfortunately, the pizza was hard, chewy and dry and the topping consisted of unseasoned vegetables that lacked any taste or aroma. Unfortunately, exactly these sad and dry vegetables were also on the antipasti plate that we wanted to enjoy as a starter - at €14, by the way, it was absolutely exorbitant and with the price/performance ratio absolutely on the threshold! A pity! And no one really cared that we didn't like it. The ambience, however, was nice and the service at least tried hard. We still wouldn't come back.

Pizza tasted ok but was way too expensive for the taste. Service was catastrophic. Every time we poured a glass, the waiter slammed the bottle on the glass. For the starter we ordered herb butter, but it was frozen and you could suck it like ice cream. When we asked the waiter about it, he didn't understand anything. There was a hair on the last piece of pizza which I pointed out to the waiter, then he just asked if it was tasty and ignored that there was a hair on the pizza. Not recommended!! Food tastes ok but way too expensive. Service catastrophic!!!

Essen war gut und das man mehr erwartet wenn man zum Italiener geht wie zum Bsp selbst gemacht oder auch weniger fettig und die Preise fürs Essen waren Okay dafür für Getränke ziemlich hoch.

Superleckere Pizza, sehr netter Service, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Und dann noch mittags für 8,90 Euro.

Hat uns mit am besten gefallen. Super Service, sehr aufmerksam. Die Pizza war großartig, die Vorspeise ebenso. Tolle Gewürze, SEHR geschmackvoll, alles frisch und lecker so soll es sein. Wenn ihr gute Pizza und Pasta essen wollt, sehr gute Adresse.

Wir bestellten eine Antipasti (14,90 €), die als Einstieg total enttäuschend war. Drei Streifen Paprika (rot, gelb, grün), alle nur ganz kurz angebraten, mit Haut, die grüne ging als Rohkost zurück. Weiter gab es zwei Scheiben Aubergine und Zucchini, beide kurz angebraten, ungewürzt. Oliven und Artischocken, getrocknete Tomate, gewürfelter Fetakäse, zwei Scheibchen Wurst, zwei Scheiben Parmaschinken, zwei Scheiben Tomaten mit Mozarella. Alles, sofern es nicht aus der Packung kam, ungewürzt, lieblos und langweilig. Als Hauptgericht gab es Risotto mit Funghi und Rinderstreifen (16,50 €) und Gnocchi al Salmone (16,90 €). Das Risottogericht gefiel. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war durchaus okay, bei 7 kleinen Rindfleischwürfeln und kaum mehr Champignons. Das Gnocchigericht wurde von fast rohen Zwiebelwürfeln dominiert. So war das Gerich und jeder Löffel knackig, die leckeren Gnocchis, der Lachs und die durchaus leckere Sauce gerieten so in den Hintergrund.Wirklich schade.

Beschreibung der Pizza könnte in der Karte etwas detaillierter ausfallen. Sind Artischocken und Oliven wirklich mediterranes Gemüse? Pizza Tonno wirklich gut. Pils für das kleine Glas etwas teuer.

Hervorragende, wirklich italienische Küche. Sympathisch Bedienung. Die Tagliatelle al Salmone sind besonders zu empfehlen. Eines der ganz wenigen Lokale in Oberstdorf mit gutem Kaffee.

Wir haben wunderbar gegessen und einen ausnehmend guten Service genossen. Preislich in Ordnung.
