It was another wonderful evening with great food...

6 girls wanted to go out for a nice meal so we reserved a table, when we arrived we noticed that all the waiters didn't feel like working, they were very rude, the food was ok for the price/performance ratio. You weren't allowed to be thirsty because you were only asked once. The highlight of the evening was when it came to paying, you don't get a bill at the table, no we had to queue at the checkout like when shopping. Unfortunately, it's not recommended.

The ambience is skilful, very tasteful, perfectly coordinated and high quality... no matter where you are in the restaurant, no matter where you look. From the entrance area to the toilets. Absolutely great! Service and operation 1A. Great selection on the menu. Prices are even relatively cheap. But everything is actually topped by the taste and quality of the food. I found it very narrow and uncomfortable and very assembly line-like. The food was only lukewarm. After we initially received everything very quickly, we were no longer served. So if you want to eat comfortably at an Italian restaurant with flair, you should eat somewhere else.

Service good up to a point. Only then did four guests come to the restaurant who thought they were the most important people in Germany. Funnily enough, everything revolved around this table (even though these people were so disrespectful and condescending). The other tables were no longer cleared, drinks were forgotten,.....absolute standstill. When people treat other people in such a condescending manner, you don't have to crawl with your head all the way up your ass. Then you should take better care of the nice guests.

Unfortunately, there was no response to our online reservation request. Neither did the subsequent query/reminder. We then decided to spend our money in another restaurant where our reservation request was also processed with a response.

We were very impressed by the ambience and the food, it was very rich and tasty. What bothered us a bit was the background music, which was sometimes loud during our visit and this made the conversations louder. The service was very friendly and the dishes came quickly.

Everything is really perfect. Food is very tasty and the waiters are all very polite. Always happy to come back!

We only went here for dessert and a few drinks. The cocktails were beautifully decorated and tasted good. The price was absolutely right at €7.50. A special highlight was the tiramisu, which was served directly at the table - I have never experienced anything like it. However, I wasn't entirely impressed with the taste: for my taste, it could have been a little sweeter, and the biscuits were unfortunately still raw at the core. The service was excellent! The entire team was extremely friendly.

After the renovation, this Italian restaurant has not become any more attractive to me. It's a shame, the food is good, the ambience doesn't seem particularly inviting and our service person is simply underground... Prices for drinks and food are ok. A suggestion for the team: You could do more, please avoid unmotivated staff. And another note: If you insist on paying by card, you can grudgingly do it😉😉😉

We were there for lunch. There was a lunch menu with good offers (menu with either pizza, pasta, fish or meat + small salad + soft drink between €9.50 and €13.90). Ordering and service was very quick and friendly. The food was very good. After the renovation, the restaurant looks very modern, but everything is a bit too dark for my taste. One star deducted because card payment was unfortunately not possible.

We were a guest about a year ago and were very satisfied... I don't know what happened here in the meantime, but the service is subpar, the food is okay, but it contained ingredients (e.g. pesto) that weren't listed on the menu (stupid for allergy sufferers) ... The same desserts came in different sizes... It's a shame, but we won't eat here again...

Unfortunately, we were served by 6 different waiters throughout the evening, some of whom only spoke broken German and asked to turn to another colleague. With my family we returned after a few years to visit the beautiful town of Eisenach and we could not miss our fixed stop, the Michelangelo restaurant, where we felt at home every time. To our surprise it has been completely renovated and what can I say, an even more beautiful environment than before, we enjoyed a sublime dinner and then an excellent welcome. Super recommended also for spending some time with friends after dinner since you have the possibility of enjoying excellent cocktails.

The restaurant remains our absolute favorite restaurant! And big praise for the new design! Absolutely fantastic! 😊

I reserved a table online yesterday and also received a reservation confirmation. Today we found ourselves in front of a closed door due to renovations. If it is temporarily closed, you should also indicate this on Google and the reservation program. Won't go here again.

Ordered a table online. When we got there we were told that no table could be ordered online at the moment. Although there was even confirmation. The 6 of us stood there and were allowed to look for something new. We then immediately found a more than good alternative at Valentino. Lucky again

As part of the city tour we stopped at Michelangelo's. We were guests here a few years ago and were very satisfied back then. Unfortunately, this time we were bitterly disappointed. The tablecloths weren't clean, nor was the cutlery. The atmosphere seems quite run down and outdated. The food was average at best, but the prices were quite high (even more expensive compared to big cities like Munich or Hamburg). The owner may have changed since the last visit. There is no other explanation for this. A glimmer of hope was the staff, who were also very friendly on our last visit. But unfortunately they seemed absolutely bored and listless. All in all, you're left with a tidy bill, little taste and a bitter disappointment. The restaurant is currently not recommended. Too bad.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Zum Abendessen mit Freunden dort gewesen. Kellner nimmt die Bestellung für Getränke und Essen auf. Erst 20 min. später kommen die Getränke (2 Latte und ein Bier). Obwohl lediglich ein anderes Paar neben uns saß und weiter keine Gäste anwesend waren. Mein Essen (Spaghetti mit Muscheln) leider zu fade, kaum Geschmack. Nach dem Essen wollten wir bezahlen und der Kellner kommt an den Tisch und sagt: "Keine Kartenzahlung!" Frechheit! Er schafft es nicht, seit unserem betreten des Lokals uns dies mittzuteilen? Erst beim Bezahlvorgang selbst? Ich habe ihn darauf hingewiesen, dass er uns dies hätte im Voraus sagen können- upps... da versteht er mich leider nicht mehr!? Meine Freunde haben für mich mitbezahlt, weil ich kein Bargeld dabei hatte... und siehe da, es gibt nicht einmal einen Beleg! Haben sie sich das selbst in die Tasche gesteckt, um es am Finanzamt vorbei zu schleußen und schwarz einzukassieren? Das macht auf mich einen ganz unschönen Eindruck. Ein weiteres Mal werde ich nicht in dieses Lokal gehen.

Excellent coffee that can be seen by top baristas: While passing through Eisenach I looked for a good cafe (made from a portafilter machine) near the train station. Some cafés were closed but I found home at Michelangelo: Giuseppe and his colleague conjured up a top cappuccino for me... Wonderfully chocolaty and nutty in the aftertaste. Thank you again, I'll definitely come back next time I'm there :)

We reserved a table online because we wanted to eat with seven people. At the appointment, the very young waiter seemed uninformed. Two tables were quickly pushed together and the problem was solved. Unfortunately there wasn't complete cutlery for everyone. We asked for it, but when nothing was brought, we helped ourselves to the empty table next door and were told. The food was super delicious! The pizzas tasted crispy and fresh, as did the salad. The portions were large and filling. Overall, we are satisfied and would only like the service to be improved a little.

My first question when I arrived at the restaurant was whether card payment was possible?"But of course," replied the unfriendly waitress. The food came quite quickly but was completely unseasoned. The tortellini and the sauce didn't see any salt or pepper. For €15.50 a unique deal. Starter was ok, but neither was the child's dish. The highlight came when paying. The card reader didn't work! The waitress shrugged her shoulders, along the lines of: "Let's think of something to pay for now." An impudence. Then I had to walk to a foreign bank and pay €6.95 in fees to be able to pay cash in the restaurant. Once and never again. All in all, the staff were all very unfriendly. You won't find a smile there

The four of us spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner today and got a table outside without any problems. The napkin was missing from two cutlery sets. The main courses came relatively quickly and the portions were adequate. Unfortunately, the No. 73 tagliatelle with salmon tasted mainly of tomatoes and was poorly seasoned. All other dishes were okay, but rather average. We waited almost 40 minutes for dessert and in general we found the service to be more bad than good.. We paid around €25 per person. and were pleasantly surprised by it, but I wouldn't eat here again so quickly due to the poor service.

Super tasty pizzas at reasonable prices. The only thing that needs to be done is the ambience. revisit in July 2024: We visited this restaurant again in July. Once again the pizza was sensational, but the pasta dishes were relatively tasty. and unimaginative. For the estimated price you can definitely expect more here. You can also expect more from the outside area. In my opinion this is not very well maintained and in need of renovation. Als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, war diese um mehrere Euro teurer als der Preis auf der Getränkekarte, und es wurde uns keine Papierrechnung gezeigt. Very nice staff, delicious food, but you won't find vegan or vegetarian pasta dishes. Maybe this is an unusual request and the people of Eisenach are real meat eaters? The staff were very nice and were able to convert a meat dish into a vegetarian one, but it would be nice to have a few options here and see them clearly marked on the menu. Plus points again for gluten-free food.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. Were here twice in 2 days. However, I have problems with the pricing for risotto with porcini mushrooms for €18.50, especially since the portion was manageable.

My best friend and I treated ourselves to a night in the hotel right next to the Pizzeria Michelangelo in Eisenach. After we frantically looked for a cocktail bar in the city center in the evening and couldn't find one, we followed my brother's recommendation to go to Michelangelo. Since the temperatures were quite mild in the evening, we took a seat outside on the spacious terrace. Great ambience with small table lamps. Cocktails were really well prepared and very tasty. No excessive prices. Service was very nice and above all chatty. No kicking out at 10 o'clock in the evening, but until late at night. We will definitely visit the Michelangelo again next time we are in Eisenach.
