A completely stylish restaurant that's more reminiscent of an exclusive nightclub. The wait staff are actually "real" Italians. That was unexpected. What was truly unexpected, however, was the quality of the food. What we ordered (spaghetti carbonara, vitello tonato, and the pizza with anchovies and capers) was really good. I love eating out, and I live in Berlin. In fact, I've never eaten at such a good Italian restaurant there. What's really special isn't so much the ambiance, but the chef in the kitchen. The waitress seemed unimpressed by my praise, which I repeated several times in my enthusiasm. Why? She probably thought, of course, we make the best pizza. Anyway, if you like real taste sensations, you'll find what you're looking for here. If you don't like the nightclub styling, you should still come. Because it's worth it!

Great service. The food was also very tasty. The restaurant was very dark, the air was quite stuffy, and unfortunately, there were no windows or air conditioning. For me, this restaurant has nothing to do with a pizzeria. What a pity.

The tagliatelle was too soft, and the Lambrusco wasn't exactly great. It's funny when you're asked for a reservation when the tables are completely empty and you get assigned a table. It's especially unpleasant when the staff are arguing and the customer notices. The location and ambiance are actually great, but overall, it's not an experience you'd want to repeat.

We wanted to eat the daily special, which was advertised on the board, but unfortunately we were nine minutes late. The waitress then politely explained to us that the daily lunch special was only available until 2:00 PM 😅. We personally found that a bit funny. Otherwise, the food and the location were very good.

I'm a professional... I was here for a few days of vacation... obviously I asked where I could go to eat something Italian... well!!!! Simply fantastic... I ate truly Italian food... finally!!! I've worked in so many places that passed themselves off as Italian restaurants... some put cream in the Napoli... some pretended it was lasagna... instead... with a big surprise... this is truly an Italian restaurant with classic and truly Italian recipes... if you want to eat Italian... this is the right place... I highly recommend it... obviously I can't forget the service... professionalism... they fillet the fish at the table like they do in Italy... in short, I was truly surprised... I didn't feel like I was in Germany... but on vacation in Italy... but here there is definitely a great piece of real Italy... so I highly recommend it.... Even on the pizza because it is truly beautiful... but above all excellent... compliments to the staff... here you really breathe Italy... thanks for the wonderful evening from me and my friends

Great Italian restaurant 👌 We were personally greeted by the owner. Despite the full house and the hustle and bustle, the service was excellent. The food was fantastic. The ambiance was superb. Inside, everything is new and extremely tastefully redecorated in black and gold. The terrace has also been redesigned and is a real pleasure to sit out on. Highly recommended 👌😍

After a long time, we were back at Michelangelo. We sat outside. At first, everything was good: friendly service, and food and drink orders were taken quite quickly. The appetizer also arrived promptly. Unfortunately, that was it! My wife got her food first. About 10 minutes later, my son got his, and then it took another 20 minutes for my pizza to arrive. No apologies, nothing. It was also noticeable that the waitress regularly visited the neighboring tables, where obviously well-known, well-off customers were sitting, to check on things. While she completely ignored us. When we ordered the bill, we waited dutifully for about 15 minutes before I approached the waitress again. The waitress only apologized after I raised my voice a bit and the neighboring tables noticed the problem. In the end, it should be noted that our food, with the exception of the appetizer, was at most of the quality of any pizzeria. The service is only good if you regularly spend money at the Michelangelo.

My husband and I decided to have dinner here during our day trip to Eisenach. We ordered an appetizer followed by pizza. That turned out to be a mistake. The appetizer came fairly quickly, but the pizza took forever to arrive. An hour after we ordered, the pizzas finally arrived. Our neighbors, who also had pizza, and those who arrived after us had already finished their meals. We were almost ready to get up and leave, as we didn't have much time. Bottom line: The food was great, tasty, and beautifully presented; unfortunately, the wait wasn't so great.

We were there with the family yesterday and went to this restaurant because of the good reviews on Google! The Lambrusco was advertised as a bottled wine on the menu, which we ordered from the first server! A few minutes later, another waitress came and told us that they currently had no bottles of Lambrusco, only glasses?! What! We didn't understand! Where did it come from then? Whatever! The pizza was great, the pasta tasted like nothing! They looked very, very good, but there was zero flavor and zero salt! Unfortunately, we weren't asked for a second drink either! On the plus side, we got a limoncello on the house! Thank you!

A quick welcome. But if you don't order your food within the first five minutes, you'll never be served again. We've been waiting for an hour for a server to come to our table. We've lost our appetite. And yet the place is completely empty, and there are only five servers.

We only had a drink there. The waitress was very unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed. The bill only came after repeated inquiries. Not recommended.

My girlfriend's meal was the spaghetti carbonara, which was a 0/10 rating; it was overcooked, greasy, and had no flavor. The staff also reacted visibly angrily when we didn't leave a tip. All in all, I can't recommend this restaurant. And even though we made a reservation in advance via Google, we weren't put on the waiting list. And for two dishes, one of which wasn't even edible, and two drinks, €37 is just not acceptable.

Starter (carpaccio) half-frozen. My pizza was more cheese than cheese. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish the pizza... Had it twice now. I wouldn't recommend it, as their English was poor. Lasagna was 90% dough, which makes sense because it's filling, but it's a shame about the lasagna.

Not exactly recommended. We had a voucher that was legally valid until December 31, 2025, but it was still not accepted, even after several discussions. Even the service staff had different opinions about the validity period of a voucher. The first waitress said one year, the second waiter said two years, even though according to German law, a voucher is valid for three years. The food was well presented, but the taste was rather average. So be careful, especially with vouchers.

My girlfriend always tries the spaghetti carbonara and bruschetta in Italian restaurants. The spaghetti carbonara was simply excellent. The sauce, with its fresh egg and ham, was a true treat. The service is extremely attentive. A visit is definitely a must if you're in Eisenach.

Upon entering this Italian restaurant, it quickly became clear that it was one of the more upscale establishments of its kind. Nevertheless, there are plenty of tasty options on the menu. The gnocchi portion was good and very tasty, and the pizzas were typically thin, which you might like but not necessarily. Customer service was a bit too distant, so you might feel a bit out of place inside. But I don't want to sound too negative; it's just that there's still a bit more to it to earn five stars.

The ambiance outside is nice and cozy, the food wasn't bad at all, and the price was fair. What really struck me was the ignorance of the four waiters, who looked smart in their colorful plastic shirts, but were preoccupied with themselves and needed almost 15 minutes to take an order. And that was only after repeated requests. The restaurant wasn't even 20% full. Even with repeat orders, the abysmal service didn't improve. Of course, there was also the classic: "...not my table, a colleague will be here soon..."

How can you let up like that? The Michelangelo was our go-to place for ice cream in Eisenach for a long time. We'd gotten used to the late opening of the "sales pavilion" in early summer – the ice cream was almost always delicious and creamy... But today, what we were served for €2 per scoop was a bad joke. Unnaturally sweet fruit ice cream that changed color strangely even when melted quickly. The taste was simply awful. The chocolate ice cream was so light that you couldn't even recognize it as such. The tiny bit of chocolate flavor was barely worth mentioning! The kids' conclusion was clear: The ice cream was disgusting!! It's just a shame, knowing that it could be so much better...

Very poor service. We waited 45 minutes for food (2 pizzas, 1 pasta). The next table received its main course first, but was then personally cleared away by the chef, even though the guest had already eaten, with the comment that the appetizer would be served first. I've rarely experienced such disinterest in the customer. But this review will surely be deleted. We've now visited the Michelangelo twice within a year, which means we've been disappointed twice. What a shame.

We were passing through and stopped at the Michelangelo restaurant after lunch. I can tell you that it is an experience to do and try, everything is exceptional, a piece of Italy in Germany, congratulations!!

We were there between 3 and 4 p.m. and had an exceptionally good meal. The truffle pizza: one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in Germany (and I was born in Florence), with a shrimp salad. The ambiance was upscale, modern, and elegant... my special recommendation.

When we arrived in Eisenach we came across this great Italian restaurant. You can sit comfortably outside under the trees and enjoy your food and drinks. The Bruscetta are modernly modified with pesto tomato and burrata. Pizza and pasta also very tasty. Card payment was no problem and the service was friendly.

Apart from the boss and a waiter, everyone only speaks Italian, how are you supposed to order quickly? Then no one seems to 1. know their task (everyone runs around like headless chickens) and 2. take it seriously. The pizza wasn't particularly good, but the food poisoning that night was tough. When asked, the only response is "It can't be, we work cleanly" - obviously not. Never again, the guesthouse is the same.

We spontaneously stopped by during the day and booked a table for the evening. We chose a cream of asparagus soup, grilled eggplant and asparagus with Parma ham and goat cheese. The food tasted great and was very well prepared. Very attentive service, great ambience. We'll come back tomorrow for lunch

The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and authentic, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. 6 girls wanted to go out for a nice meal so we reserved a table, when we arrived we noticed that all the waiters didn't feel like working, they were very rude, the food was ok for the price/performance ratio. You weren't allowed to be thirsty because you were only asked once. The highlight of the evening was when it came to paying, you don't get a bill at the table, no we had to queue at the checkout like when shopping. Unfortunately, it's not recommended.

Absolutely great! Service and operation 1A. Great selection on the menu. Prices are even relatively cheap. But everything is actually topped by the taste and quality of the food. I found it very narrow and uncomfortable and very assembly line-like. The food was only lukewarm. After we initially received everything very quickly, we were no longer served. So if you want to eat comfortably at an Italian restaurant with flair, you should eat somewhere else.

Service good up to a point. Only then did four guests come to the restaurant who thought they were the most important people in Germany. Funnily enough, everything revolved around this table (even though these people were so disrespectful and condescending). The other tables were no longer cleared, drinks were forgotten,.....absolute standstill. When people treat other people in such a condescending manner, you don't have to crawl with your head all the way up your ass. Then you should take better care of the nice guests.

Unfortunately, there was no response to our online reservation request. Neither did the subsequent query/reminder. We then decided to spend our money in another restaurant where our reservation request was also processed with a response.

We were very impressed by the ambience and the food, it was very rich and tasty. What bothered us a bit was the background music, which was sometimes loud during our visit and this made the conversations louder. The service was very friendly and the dishes came quickly.

Everything is really perfect. Food is very tasty and the waiters are all very polite. Always happy to come back!

We only went here for dessert and a few drinks. The cocktails were beautifully decorated and tasted good. The price was absolutely right at €7.50. A special highlight was the tiramisu, which was served directly at the table - I have never experienced anything like it. However, I wasn't entirely impressed with the taste: for my taste, it could have been a little sweeter, and the biscuits were unfortunately still raw at the core. The service was excellent! The entire team was extremely friendly.

After the renovation, this Italian restaurant has not become any more attractive to me. It's a shame, the food is good, the ambience doesn't seem particularly inviting and our service person is simply underground... Prices for drinks and food are ok. A suggestion for the team: You could do more, please avoid unmotivated staff. And another note: If you insist on paying by card, you can grudgingly do it😉😉😉

Ordering and service was very quick and friendly. The food was very good. After the renovation, the restaurant looks very modern, but everything is a bit too dark for my taste. One star deducted because card payment was unfortunately not possible.
