Gutbürgerliche Küche mit Leckerem aus unserem Osten. Die Preise sind fast zu niedrig, die Gaststätte und der alte Wirt mit den blitzenden Augen sind das Gute von früher - möge das noch lange so bleiben können. Ein Besuch lohnt sich 👍

Man muss hier gewesen sein. Eine Kleine sehr liebevolle Gaststätte. Der Wirt ist in seinem hohen Alter mega fit. Mann muss Ihn einfach kennen gelernt haben. Preis-leistung unschlagbar. Frisch gekocht und richtig lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Wir wünschen dem Wirt alles alles Gute und eine lange Gesundheit.

Dieses Restaurant fühlt sich an wie ein Zuhause, wenn man in den Siebzigern eins hatte. Es ist, als würde man einen alten Freund besuchen, den man gar nicht vermisst hat. Es ist, als säße man neben der Großmutter, während sie häkelt und vor dem Fernseher nörgelt. Ein Stück Wärme in einer kalten Welt.

Einmal und nie wieder🙈 Wir sind auf Grund der sehr guten Bewertungen hier gelandet. Eigentlich ist um 17 Uhr offen. Der Inhaber, ein älterer Herr kam allerdings erst um 17:44 am Restaurant an, um es auf zu schließen. Als erstes kam uns ein richtig modriger Geruch entgegen. Als wir uns hin setzten mussten wir erstmal feststellen, dass die Sitzbezüge mit irgendwelchen Flüssigkeiten beschmutzt waren. Auf dem Tisch lag eine tote Fliege , nach ein paar Minuten stellten wir fest, dass der ganze Laden überall verdreckt ist. Die Tischdecke wurde Wochen oder Monate lang nicht gewechselt. Spinnenweben , mehrere Tote fliegen auf dem Fensterbrett. Ich habe ein Alkohol freies Bier bestellt. Was wurde mir hin gestellt. Ein leichtes weizen mit 2,6 % alc. Auf meine Nachfrage ob er sich sicher ist dass es alkoholfrei ist, kam ein " darauf können sie sich verlassen" . Insgesamt war der Wirt sehr nett , aber irgendwann sollte man auch mal einsehen, Dass man irgendwann kein Restaurant mehr führen kann. Tut mir leid für den Mann. Aber ich kann jedem nur abraten dem Sauberkeit wichtig ist beim Essen hier her zu kommen. Wir waren geschockt und haben uns nur geekelt. Das Essen war ok. Ja es ist günstig, aber Hygiene und Sauberkeit ist mir doch auch wichtig

Wir Standen gestern Mittag 16.06. 2026 vor verschlossener Tür. Wir waren extra 40 Kilometer gefahren um hier einmal essen zu gehen. Das ist wirklich Schade. Kein Schild was auf die Schließung hinwies, trotz das offiziell eigentlich geöffnet ist. Auch telefonisch war niemand zu erreichen. Sollten wir nochmals dort sein werden wir es natürlich testen und neu bewerten. So kann ich leider nur einen Stern vergeben.

Der Chef macht alles (mit 85!!!), Preis Leistung und Ambiente vermutlich einmalig im Bayrischen Wald, eine wahrlich einmalige Wandererfahrung 2026!!

Wenn man sich um ca 40 Jahre zurückversetzt fühlen will ist das genau die richtige location der Mann ist 84 Jahre alt und arbeitet seit 70 Jahren in der Gastronomie. Jedes Essen 10 € jedes Getränk 3 €. Auch die kochkünste haben nicht nachgelassen schmeckt alles sehr lecker und ist ausreichend bis viel. Sehr schön ist es wenn er Zeit hat kann man herrliche Geschichten von ihnen hören. Absolut top alle Daumen hoch. Bin total begeistert.

Sehr nett und aufmerksam Chef bedient selber. Essen sehr reichhaltig und frisch. Preis und Leistung mehr als sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist aus den 60 Jahren und etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber im großen ganzen zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier Abendessen auf Empfehlung von Freunden, die vor kurzem auch hier im Urlaub waren. Absolut bewundernswert mit wieviel Freundlichkeit und Hingabe der Wirt alles selber macht ( bedienen und alles frisch kochen) und das in seinem hohen Alter. Man fühlt sich als Gast direkt willkommen und wenn man auf das Essen etwas warten muss, dann weil es frisch zubereitet wird. Das Essen war super lecker und die Portionen mehr als reichlich. Das alles zu einem sensationell günstigen Preis. Ganz klare Empfehlung!! Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns aufgrund der guten Google Bewertungen für dieses Lokal entschieden. Allerdings war der erste Eindruck im Vorraum sowie im Lokal selbst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Als wir vom Wirt gesehen wurden, wurden wir aber sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir waren die ersten und einzigen Gäste zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Wir waren wirklich mehr als skeptisch, aber kurz gesagt waren wir auch mehr als positiv überrascht über das wirklich sehr gute Essen. Die Civapcici wurden frisch zubereitet und die Portion war wirklich sehr groß. Der Wirt ist ein wahnsinnig netter und liebenswerter Mensch, wir haben uns gefreut, dass wir trotz unserer anfänglichen Skepsis geblieben sind und wenn wir wieder in Zwiesel sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Der Wirt 85 Jahre alt und besser drauf als manch 50-jähriger Gastronom. Sehr geschmackvolles Essen, in sehr guter Qualität, zum kleinsten Preis und zum Teil auf dem Teller noch überdimensioniert. (...wie das geht muss man sich echt fragen .) Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam zu seinen Gästen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im ,,Piroschka'' und möchten uns an dieser Stelle bedanken. Oma und Opa und unser Enkelkind.

Wie waren spontan dort, der Besitzer mit seinen 84 Jahren macht alles alleine und ist sehr nett. Die Karte ist klein aber das Essen ist wirklich super lecker 🤤. Können wir wirklich sehr empfehlen, er macht das mit einer Leidenschaft das man nirgends bekommt, das Ambiente ist zwar sehr alt macht das Ganze aber wirklich sehr gemütlich.

Ein MUSS wenn man in Zwiesel ist ! Sehr leckeres Essen zum kleinen Preis bei einem sehr netten Wirt der mit seinen über 80 Jahren noch sehr fit mit Liebe und Leidenschaft sein Lokal betreibt. Einfache aber leckere Hausmannskost. In diesem urigen Lokal ist die Zeit stehen geblieben und die Welt noch in Ordnung. 10 von 10 !

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht zu topen!!! Gerichte alle selbst gekocht und frisch, kaum convenience, zu einem Preis wie aus den 80ern. Aber: Ambiente ist in den 60ern stecken geblieben. Toiletten lieber nicht benutzen 😉

A visit to Zwiesel is a must, and a stop at the Piroschka restaurant is a must! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome and at home. The food is homemade, prepared with love, and tastes simply fantastic – something you'll hardly find anywhere else. It's an experience you won't forget: authentic, warm, and truly something very special. Unlike other restaurants – the whole package here is just perfect. Once you've been there, you'll definitely want to come back. My conclusion: definitely go – highly recommended!

A bit dated, but that's how it should be, in the style of the 70s/80s. The restaurant is clean, and so is the kitchen. The door is always open, so you can watch the cooking. A friendly older gentleman who does everything himself, except for one kitchen assistant, and despite all the work, still has time for a quick chat with his guests. Very personable! Nevertheless, the food arrives after 20-30 minutes, and it's simply good. A sufficient selection of dishes; it's no problem if a dish runs out—it's freshly cooked the next day. All main courses cost €9.99, and each drink €3.00. Unbeatably good value, and everything is quite tasty. A chocolate is offered when paying. You can park on the street in front of the restaurant from 6:00 p.m. onwards. Reservations recommended.

I don't recommend this restaurant. It's very uncomfortable, the place is lacking in cleanliness. The food isn't particularly good either.

A quaint, cozy restaurant. The owner (84 years old) cooks and serves himself. Very welcoming, and the prices are unbeatable. Tips are all the more generous, then. By the way, dogs are also welcome.

Where else can you eat for under €10 per dish? Right at Piroschka! The food (we had the grilled meat) was truly excellent, the meat was very tender, and the sauce (from the goulash) was fantastic. The owner oversees everything himself (service and kitchen), and the naturally cloudy shandy is served in bottles, delicious. Those who are a bit picky should overlook this, as the restaurant is showing its age, a bit "old-fashioned" and quaint, but the food is highly recommended. And the elderly gentleman is very hospitable. We'll be back again. Thanks.

Food was alright, Kids schnitzel felt it came from freezer, but I might be wrong. My biggest issue was the speed. We had no reservation, and we were told that we'll need to wait 20 minutes which was totally fine. but it took 20 minutes to get our reservation, and another hour after that to get the food. I understand that the chef is also the service person but hour+ for food, with hungry kids was nightmare for us.

This small restaurant is unique. Reasonable prices and truly delicious food.

We arrived without reservation and luckily got a seat. Thanks to the weather and the change in holidaymakers. The food and service were excellent. We loved the grilled platter, and our child inhaled the large Wiener schnitzel because it was so delicious. If we're in the area again, we'd love to stop by.

I won't be going back a second time. The food was okay, but for this price, you can't complain. They don't have mayonnaise; the owner is against it! There's no sparkling water either. It's just like a living room, but unfortunately, there are flies inside. It's still 1950s-style, and there's mold on the windows. The owner was friendly and helpful, though.

A super friendly chef. Huge portions. Superbly seasoned, and a price/performance ratio like no other. Piroschka is highly recommended.

The chef cooks here himself, and it's delicious. Everything is freshly prepared, with no long waits, and you get a free, friendly chat. As a farewell, you even get a Halloren Kugel.

The gentleman is a true all-rounder. He does everything himself, from serving to cooking. Excellent food at unbeatable prices. A meal and drinks for three people cost €42. You won't find that anywhere else. The dining room is quaint and a bit stuck in time, but that's what makes it special. So, if you expect meticulous cleanliness or three stars, you're in the wrong place.

A little trip back in time to the 1970s. Everything is very clean and authentic. Very friendly service, good food, reasonable prices.

I had ordered an apple juice spritzer, which unfortunately consisted almost entirely of juice and was also warm. The beer afterwards was good. The curry sausage with fries was ok, the portion was large for the price (€6.90), but the sauce was poor, just tomato ketchup with curry powder on top. I absolutely cannot recommend it.

After spending our vacation in Zwiesel for several years, we finally got a tip from a local to go to Piroschka. And what can I say, simply mega. From the warm, warm welcome from the extremely friendly host, to the cozy atmosphere, to the excellent and very tasty Hungarian food, simply recommended. We'd love to come back :-)

We visited the small, quaint Piroska restaurant in Zwiesel and were thrilled! The owner is a true all-rounder who runs the restaurant with a lot of passion. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. For dinner, we had currywurst and a grilled plate with lecsó and chicken breast – and we were absolutely thrilled. The food was not only plentiful, but also incredibly tasty and lovingly prepared. An absolute highlight in Zwiesel that we highly recommend! We'll definitely be back.

This restaurant is a must experience! You think time has stood still in the 70s/80s. But in a nice way! Respect for the older gentleman who works there. We were there with 6 people and without exception everyone enjoyed and enjoyed it. Very large portions for really little money. The menus are all around €10! Since the dining room is not that big, I recommend making a reservation in advance!

Today we spontaneously went to dinner in this very quaint and unique restaurant. We were greeted very friendly and personally. It's like you're part of the family. The food was very plentiful and we enjoyed it very much. The prices are unbeatably cheap. Where else can you get an offer like this...... Absolute recommendation

In the best sense of the word, a down-to-earth restaurant with a very nice host, great food at unbeatable prices. We really liked it! And for vegetarians, a healthy portion of Letscho with croquettes and salad is often made. Certainly something else if you simply ask your boss about it. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again!

We came across the restaurant by chance. The atmosphere is unique, we felt really comfortable. The innkeeper gave us a warm welcome and the food was very tasty; the prices are underground. Would eat there again any time :)

We came to the restaurant at lunchtime, the landlord said that they were actually closed but that we were still welcome to come in. It was as if we were in Aunt Piroschka's room and as if she had prepared a goulash especially for us. You don't feel like you're in a restaurant, more like you're a guest of a nice family. The food was very tasty and very cheap. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, as I said, as if you were a guest of a Hungarian family (the decoration is chosen accordingly, there are photos on the wall and typical Hungarian decoration). Highly recommended!

We had a unique but wonderful experience there. We arrived and the owner had just turned away a large group of people because he couldn't serve that many people due to staffing levels. We were lucky because there were two of us. However, we were advised that it could take longer. We had to wait a bit, but the young-at-heart older owner worked with so much passion. The service was great, even though it took a while. He ended up serving over 20 people by himself, it took a while, but the owner was so personable. That's why I give full service here. Ambience was ok. It was more of a business or local. It's a bit lacking in modernity, but I think it should look a bit rustic. The food was good too. To the restaurant's credit, there wasn't a lot of food, but there wasn't a meal that was more expensive than 10 euros. This is a true rarity these days. I had a grill plate that was good. Although fries were a little soggy, meat (pork and turkey) were good - I could have chosen other meat (point for flexibility). The selection of sauces with yogurt and goulash sauce was very good. And the picture was supposed to show the portion size, which was unbeatable for the price. A lovely evening and a great owner. Recommendation from me.
