The meat was perfect, the portions were large, and the salads and sauces were homemade, with no vinegary taste or unpleasant spices. Nothing was too salty. The desserts were large enough to share. The ambiance is pleasant and elegant, with Persian decor. The service was very friendly.

Overall, a disappointment. The "homemade" lemonade came from a 1.5-liter PET bottle, and the mushroom stew consisted of mushrooms in green pesto (presumably from a jar) topped with Emmental cheese! The vegetarian stew with rice was overcooked and almost flavorless. Exotic spices: nowhere to be found. The price is quite high for that. A real shame.

This Persian restaurant in Erlangen is highly recommended. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and you immediately feel welcome. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always helpful. The food is excellent; the dishes are freshly prepared, very aromatic, and rich in flavor. The Mahitsche with rice and the Sultani are particularly special: tender meat, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious with the rice. The portions are also generous, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. If you want to get to know Persian cuisine or simply enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy setting, this is the place for you. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

We visited Persia Restaurant and had an all-around fantastic evening! We ordered Kebab Negin Soltani and Djudje Kebab Soltani, along with Zeytoon Parvardeh and Kashk-e Bademjan as starters. We had a refreshing Doogh (Ayran) to drink. Everything was simply amazing: delicious, authentic, and prepared with love – just as you would expect from Iran. The meat dishes were juicy and perfectly grilled, and the starters were aromatic and fresh. The prices may be a bit higher than in some other restaurants, but the quality and taste completely justify it. If you want to enjoy authentic Persian food, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The garden is beautiful, but the interior of the restaurant is very uncomfortable, with a cafeteria feel. The noise level is extremely distracting and unpleasant. The food is bland and overpriced. Half the dishes consist of cheap, tasteless rice. Oriental spices are nonexistent. The meat and vegetables are unseasoned and tasteless. Only the service was friendly and attentive.

The garden desperately needs attention. We couldn't eat in peace because of wasps and mosquitoes. As an Iranian who is familiar with Persian food, the food wasn't good. When we asked for drinks twice in a row, the waiter told us, "How can I go twice?" That's unacceptable!

Unfortunately, my visit to the Persia Restaurant was a very unpleasant experience. The food was not only cold, but also tasted unloving and old. Even worse, however, was the way the staff treated me – arrogant, rude, and completely disrespectful. Questions were answered snippy or even non-existent.

However, the quality of the meals was unfortunately below expectations — noticeably lower than the standard of an average Persian meal. Additionally, while the quality has declined, the prices have increased significantly, which was disappointing. We kindly encourage the management to prioritize improving the quality of the dishes, as the restaurant represents Iranian cuisine in Erlangen and has the potential to offer a truly authentic and memorable experience.

A really great restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. We found it particularly nice that we were served a small snack with olives, vegetables and bread in advance - and it was free! The kebab was excellent and we also really liked the atmosphere with pleasant music and a stylish ambience. The mentality of the staff is particularly positive - the open, friendly and warm nature that is typical of Iranians really appealed to us. Overall, a very successful evening. The prices are rather high, but reasonable for the quality of the food. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty and authentic Persian food, very well seasoned but not spicy, large portions too. Very friendly waitresses! It is child-friendly as there are high chairs and there is no music playing in the background. There is also a beer garden in summer. Generally a cozy atmosphere and good food. Das überaus freundliche Personal hatte uns extra einen Tisch etwas abseits reserviert, da wir vier Personen plus einem Hund angemeldet hatten. Ambiente und Musik versetzt einen schon in eine andere Welt. Große Auswahl leckerer Speisen, da findet jede/r etwas, auch bei den Getränken. Die aromatischen Tees kamen schnell, auch die Vorspeisenplatte ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Übergangslos wurde die Grillplatte serviert. Alles wurde auf unsere Fragen hin geduldig erklärt und schmeckte wirklich köstlich, das Durchprobieren machte Spaß.... und soo satt. Also alles in allem für aufgeschlossene Feinschmecker und Liebhaber der orientalischen Küche ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Appetizer: Soup: Lentil soup with bread side dish. The soup was average and was more reminiscent of a Turkish lentil soup. But the Turkish one is much better than this one. Main course: Food: Everything wasn't juicy and very dry. Above all, salting didn't help. Tip: Serve with a free dip. This was by far the driest rice I have eaten. Drinks: Ayran with mint is Persian and was ok. Too bitter for my taste. We still had the black tea, but the mixing ratio was good. Dessert: Baklava with saffron ice cream. A more Turkish baklava with a Persian ice cream combination. The combination didn't appeal to me. Service: It was really good. He made an effort, even if he was spoken to too often. But of course it's better than having to wait “for hours”. Summary: For the money, around €40 per person (all dishes), it was not recommended and the plate was presented rather poorly. The whole thing has more to do with Turkish, but even for Turkish it was disappointing. We would give a second chance, but more in the medium term.

Platter for 3 people 61 €: Conclusion. For me it had nothing to do with Persian. 3 tomatoes and 1 lemon, no vegetables, no dips. 5 dry skewers with rice. They came especially from Bamberg. What a disappointment. Every kebab in Bamberg has the same thing for €40 less. Not again! Service was terrible, at first there was only laughter and personal conversations from the staff. I asked for music, it was a mistake... Afterwards people talked even louder and made noise with the coffee machine for what felt like 30 minutes. No relaxation.... Terrible... €74 for nothing. Are really angry and disappointed.

Cozy beer garden with friendly service. Dishes are very meat-heavy, but there are also good vegetarian dishes. We tried different dishes. These were good. Overall, the dishes could have used a little more seasoning, for me. Taste a bit bland. However, this is my personal opinion, as everyone is used to different spices and spiciness. The saffron rice as a side dish is also seasoned neutrally. Conclusion: Overall impression is very positive. If you want to try Persian cuisine, you should visit the Persia restaurant

Had dinner here for the second time. Parking right in front of the front door, large beer garden with lots of seating, shady trees and umbrellas, children's play area and small fountain. We've never been inside. Service very nice and attentive! Food very tasty. Only the eggplant starter had too much of a smoky taste for our taste, which was a shame. Otherwise everything was very tasty. Appetizers came very quickly. If you want to try a different flavor, this is the right place!

I was there for the first time today. To be honest, it was a very nice place, but I had to wait a long time until someone came and I could order something. The other guests felt very comfortable and changed their child's diaper in front of me, which wasn't exactly appetizing.

I already knew Persian cuisine, my partner didn't. We both went home excited after dinner. Everything was delicious, the service was really nice and nothing to complain about. If you want to criticize anything at all, it would be the noise level in the restaurant. But that's complaining at a high level and didn't detract from a lovely evening. We will be back definitely!

The food (the most important thing in a restaurant) is excellent. Since everything appeals to you, you have to choose well or endure eating more than you should. The cuisine is definitely a reason to come back. Of course the nice service too.

Excellent place for dinner. I came with friends, we shared an entrance. Smoked eggplant is delicious. Then we shared a grilled meat dish and my favorite the Baghali polo ba mahiche, a lamb dish. Great! If you are in Erlangen, don't miss it. Highly recommended.

Also Leute, lasst mal bitte die Kirche im Dorf, ja... ich kann immer nur wieder den Kopf schütteln, wie extrem einfach man die Erlanger gastronomisch begeistern kann, unglaublich! Hatte 2 Spieße mit Reis zum mitnehmen. Es war einfach nur stinknormaler Reis und genauso hat er auch geschmeckt und der kostet im Einkauf gar nix!! Das Fleisch hat auch in keinster Weise irgendwie rausgestochen geschmacklich, es war einfach nur etwas gegrilltes Fleisch, nicht mehr und nicht weniger! Dafür ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unterirdisch, völlig überteuert! Wer zuviel Geld hat und das haben sehr, sehr viele Erlanger, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Guten Appetit, lassts euch schmecken!

Super Weihnachtsfeier mit dem Büro organisiert - der Kellner war über alle Maße freundlich und zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Als er bemerkte, dass einem von uns sicher 30 Personen ein Nachtisch nicht zugesagt hat - was nicht an dessen Qualität lag sondern persönlichem Geschmack lag - ist er auf uns zugegangen und eine neue Speise angeboten, auf Kosten des Hauses. Noch nie sowas erlebt. Dazu fabelhaftes Essen insgesamt. Für große Gruppen ideal! Werde wieder herkommen.

Food was okay, could have been seasoned more in my opinion. The doogh was meant to be tangy but it was more sour than what i’ve had before. The lamb was a tad bit over cooked and the aubergine was very good in the Khoreschte Gheimeh Bademjun but it felt very bland. The lemon helped a little and I wish there was more aubergine. Service was impeccable though and everything was at a good pace. We even got complimentary tea at the end to finish our meal. Many people I know enjoy this place so please do try it and form your own opinion I would say. This was my personal experience and someone else may find it better so please go ahead. They have amazing staff and the ambience is great so it’s worth a try.

I was here with my Persian friend. Its garden is really wonderful and their service is quite nice too. Regarding foods, 1. Lemonade: quite impressive. Taste is in between the Lemonade and the bitter lemon. 2. Lamb: really tender and juicy. 3. Rice: well cooked and very aromatic. For foreigners, it can be not familiar. 4. Olive: fresh and sour. It is really well harmonized with rice and meats. My best. One thing that I think a drawback is a price. It is quite pricy… but it was worthy. Overall, I recommend this restaurant !

Das Essen war super lecker auch wenn es für den Preis eventuell etwas mau aussieht. Das Personal war super freundlich und der Service echt klasse! Das Ambiente war angenehm. Auf jeden Fall mal eine Abwechslung zu immer gleichen deutschem oder italienischem Essen. ☺️

Einfach nur köstlich. Wir fahren des Öfteren extra aus Coburg nach Erlangen um dort essen zu gehen. Das Restaurant besitzt im Sommer einen schönen Biergarten, aber auch in den kalten Monaten fühlt man sich Innen sehr wohl und wird 1 a bedient. Auf jeden Fall ein bzw. mehrere Besuche wert .

Das Restaurant bietet köstliche Kababs, die perfekt gewürzt und zart sind. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vernünftig und man bekommt viel für sein Geld. Insgesamt eine großartige Erfahrung mit freundlichem Personal und authentischer Küche.

Gutes Essen aber leider sehr konfuser Service. Gäste die nach uns kamen wurden lang vor uns bedient die Vorspeisen kamen ohne das unser Tisch eingedeckt wurde (die leeren Tische nebenan wurden sofort eingedeckt). Nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen wurde dann ein Haufen Besteck auf dem Tisch gelegt, da standen die Vorspeisen schon eine Weile auf dem Tisch. Auch nach dem Essen musste man fast schon die Bedienung festhalten das sie Notiz von einem nahm. Mit etwas stark verbesserten Service ein gutes Lokal.
