I've eaten here a few times and have been very satisfied every time. The food was always delicious and the team was friendly. The only thing that isn't so nice is the parking situation. If the restaurant is busy, the associated parking lot will also quickly fill up.

The food was delicious 😋, my daughter wanted to have something packed up and taken with her because the portion was too big, and from that point on the female service person was unfriendly.

We went there with family and friends for New Year's dinner and everyone was very excited. Very good food and great service.

We went there with 10 people on short notice and were lucky to get a table at 1pm shortly after Christmas. They still had all the nice decoration up in the several rooms. Our food arrived quickly and was excellent Franconia food.

Checked in advance if we could charge both our cars (party of 10 with 6 children) - this was no problem. However, upon arrival they turned out to have only one charger. We had to drive to the gas station and walk 2kms late at night to use the supercharger there. On top of this, our group of 10 was put in 2 different locations. We were told TWICE the location down the road had a 4p bedroom. The second half of the family, arriving late, found out there were only 3 beds, so we had to move one of the children across town late at night. We booked a 4p Suite and two 4p bedrooms for four, but were given two 2p bedrooms with a folding bed and one 4p room. On top of all this, we were rudely brushed off by the crew - and misinformed about the room down the road. All in all by far the worst stop-over in Germany we have ever had. Unwelcoming, rude, incomplete information… never again.

Had a Christmas party on site and were satisfied.

I was only there for dinner. It was a kind of team event. However, I have been a frequent guest before. This time there was a Schäuferle and some pretty good beer. The Schäuferle was absolutely wonderful. Tender meat and a fantastic crust! The colleagues were also quite impressed with their meals. Can only fully recommend it!

Really enjoyed the facilities of the modern and spotless room and bathroom. Ample suitcase benches, comfortable desk, well-lit room, plenty of electricity sockets for our phones and laptops. Well-designed bathroom with a strong hairdryer, soft-close basket, heated towel rack. Lovely variety at breakfast, friendly personnel.

I took part in a conference at the inn. Our laptop didn't work and was promptly replaced with that of the friendly and courteous hostess/owner. Communication and hospitality great!

First the good stuff: The young gentleman at the counter was very friendly and accompanied us to the house (which was 200m further away) and showed us the room. The room is furnished in a very rustic style and that matches the outside cladding and the rest of the house but is otherwise clean. The connection to public transport is also good, as the bus stop is not far away. Now for the negative things: We had specifically looked for a hotel with a parking space via Booking.com, but due to a construction site there are few parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, which were almost all occupied when we visited. In the end it wasn't of any use to us anyway, as we were accommodated in the house further away and you somehow have to park on the street (between the no-parking period from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the no-parking ban in Wendehammer and all the courtyard entrances). In addition, it was difficult to find the entrance to the main building at first because the sign pointing the way off the street was only visible from one side.

Well the food wasn't anything special. Fried potatoes looked like normal potatoes and the €2 extra charge was outrageous. So I don't go here anymore. Because the prices are not exactly cheap. No second chances 👎👎👎👎👎👎

We were looking forward to a great Sunday dinner. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was very good, but the food was not. A burger with fries for 18 euros and then you get meat and rolls from the freezer and tons of rocket on the burger. Very disappointing. The other meals, a sauerbraten and loos with gravy, were acceptable. The dessert, Apfelkückle, was also frozen and then simply fried. Dark on the outside, lukewarm on the inside. We're definitely not coming back!

I stayed there overnight after the Nuremberg trade fair including dinner and breakfast... The service was very good and friendly. The room was clean and okay. The dinner was very tasty. At breakfast you have to make compromises because the rolls don't really seem fresh... But I would stay there again...

We had a few days in Erlangen again. We ate twice at the Gasthof Ritter Sankt Georg. I ate Schäufele twice. Absolutely recommended. The service is good and the restaurant is nicely decorated. We'd love to come back.

We were there for a family reunion. Unfortunately there were no more rooms available at the time, so no rating was possible. The atmosphere in the inn itself is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Very clean toilets, which are in the basement. A problem for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties. But maybe there is another disabled access to the toilets... The food was very tasty. Come again

Already the second visit here. After the first visit, I wanted to give the inn another chance. Unfortunately, I left here even more disappointed than my first visit Room: Overall disappointing! Old furniture, the bathroom from the 70s. Mattresses are extremely hard. 17" TV from 2002 with a total of 3 channels. Long-term construction site right on the doorstep. At least the rooms are clean. Corridor: At night you have to take a flashlight with you as there are no motion sensors and the light switches are only at the exits. WiFi: unstable!! Breakfast: Small selection, the same every day, the coffee can also be called "water with taste". You can't get the coffee yourself, you have to wait until one of the staff notices that you've been sitting at the table for 20 minutes. For whatever reason, there are no forks for breakfast, just a butter knife. At first I thought it was an accident but I had breakfast 4 times and the same thing 4 times. Operation: 2/5 Conclusion: For the price-performance ratio, I prefer to sleep in a youth hostel and save 60% of the costs.

A beautiful, cozy restaurant suitable for both families and romantic meetings. In warm weather it is very pleasant to sit in the small garden. Here you will be treated to tasty dishes and pleasant service.

We were with a group in the beer garden. We had to wait over an hour for the food. When it finally came, it was almost dark and the lighting at the table was very poor. This made it very difficult to eat the carp. It's a shame, we were looking forward to the evening.

Pleasant beer garden But that was it….. Been there again, but that was definitely our last visit for dinner... Birth dinner reserved…. no congratulations nothing... But as I said, we were there to eat Mother-in-law's fish was completely overcooked, as were the boiled potatoes and the lettuce leaves, which were supposed to be a side salad, were without any dressing... like it would ruin the place….. The spinach was a lump of frozen goods Pork medallions 3 MinniMinniMinni pieces, dry and I'm still looking for the mushrooms since yesterday, Only the Duchess potatoes were great... Guys, a salad side dish should be dressed and 3 shriveled lettuce leaves, that's not even decoration, that's it CUSTOMER FOOLING Oh one more thing, fill up your salt shakers…. 1 napkin for 3 people is at least 2 too few... DEVINITIVELY OUR LAST VISIT, my last review was great, this one deserves an underground rating

We ate in the garden and not in the hotel! Unfortunately, the waitresses were very annoyed and we felt this very clearly. Our turkey schnitzel was not only "children's portion" but also overpriced for the taste. We were recommended it by friends... maybe it was just a bad day... but the customer can't do anything about it... no Too bad

After the bike ride I had an appetite for a Schäuferla. Although I have lived in Bruck for a long time, I wanted to visit the restaurant. The reception wasn't unfriendly: I wasn't allowed to take my bike into the beer garden and could only park it against the outside wall inside. Well, at least in view, because there is no lock on the gravel (racing) bike. For me, as the owner of a not-so-cheap racing bike, eye contact with the bike is the deciding factor as to whether I stay there. The service by the same lady was quick and decisive. After the prescribed inspection of the menu, I ordered the Schäuferle. The rind was pleasantly brittle/crispy, which isn't always the case elsewhere. But the temperature shouldn't have been lower. After all, food gets cold faster outdoors. But it just worked. Taste: Schäuferla and sauce didn't have a very strong taste, but were quite good. The dumplings were as I expected - good too. All in all: I would order the Schäuferle there again - with the note: Please be a little warmer.

We were there for over 2 days, the rooms are very large and because the guest house is separate from the inn they are really quiet. The guest house has its own breakfast room and the breakfast was very good. I ate there twice, the stuffed cordon bleu with cheese chanterelles filling was a bit dry, I didn't like it that much, but in the evening the Schäufele, really super good, I can only recommend it

Hotel was good, good beds, but no air conditioning in the room. (We stayed there while it was 30° during the day) bathroom dated. Dogs welcome in the rooms. Breakfast simple, but fine. Cozy beer garden/terrace

The beer garden is nice, the street is a bit annoying, but the staff makes up for it with their friendliness. The food, we had schnitzel fries, was too greasy for me and unfortunately only 3 stars.

There were four of us in the beer garden and we had reserved in advance. The space was good, the service was quick and friendly. But that was it then... I had a schnitzel with fries: schnitzel from the frozen food chest, fries not fresh. And that for over €15 is almost outrageous. The meat was pressed meat, the breading was sticky and 1000% not homemade. It's quite an achievement to make fries so bad. Only lukewarm, lightly seasoned and limp. It felt like they were kept warm. Then we had a lumberjack steak. This was almost impossible to cut with the lousy knives, the meat itself was incredibly streaky and tough. The rest was fine. The beef roulades, on the other hand, were good, there was nothing to complain about. The salad was also OK. But that doesn't take away the bad schnitzel and the tough steak. No recommendation.

Had lunch at the restaurant, chose to eat outdoors in the beer garden. We took cordon blue with typical stuffing with the addition of mushrooms and chopped onion and chips and turkey wienerschnitzel with chips. Both accompanied by an excellent beer like all the Germanic ones tasted in beer gardens. Average price. Recommended place.

The guest garden, the food: schnitzel and salad were ok 🥗🥩🥨… What I personally don't like are the many smokers 🚭 in the guest garden and the ashtray at the courtyard door ❗️ Unfortunately, I don't enjoy the guest garden experience at all ❌ The operation and service was really very friendly 🫶 Thanks and LG

We held a family reunion here and had booked 4 double rooms with breakfast for this purpose. Due to a short-term illness, only 3 rooms were needed. When checking in, the lady was quite unfriendly and rudely announced that all rooms had to be paid for and that cancellation was no longer possible. Then we were told briefly and rather humorlessly that we had to finish at the reserved table in the beer garden at 11 p.m. sharp. Breakfast is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. After that, you don't want to stay longer in the breakfast room either. After this welcome from the brusque and rather low-vibration "receptionist", we were positively surprised by the service and the quality of the food at dinner. Room and breakfast were ok apart from the very weak coffee. Since the first impression makes a big difference, there is still a strange aftertaste and our next meeting will no longer take place here

Were there for breakfast. Very diverse and tasty at a fair price. Very nice boss with friendly staff.

We ate at Ritter St. Georg again after many years and were shocked. Warmed frozen (e.g. schnitzel) and bucket goods (e.g. potato salad) like in a cheap snack bar at prices like in a real restaurant (approx. 20 euros per dish). This meant that the waiting time for the food was at least short - it only had to be warmed up briefly. The service was terrible. 8 orders => 4 errors. Completely unacceptable. At least the ambience and the view of the Regnitz were okay.

When the weather was nice, we sat in the great beer garden in the shade of the large parasols. The service was nice. The veal cream roast was very tough and mixed - I wonder which veal it was. I let half go back and informed the waitress about it, no apology from the kitchen and I still had to pay the full price. Sorry, I won't go there anymore.

We went for lunch with the family today. Sat in the very cozy beer garden. Great atmosphere. And the food was just great. The portions were just right and we all really enjoyed it, even the children. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come by again.

Beautiful restaurant. For me it's the most successful restoration I've seen. Food looked good. There are also smaller portions, which is important to me. Beer garden was too cold. I can very well imagine a place on the Regnitz. Parking lots available. The narrow sidewalk in front of the restaurant is also used by cyclists, caution is advised because, as has often happened, they demand their right of way. Service excellent. I really liked it. I can't say anything about the rooms.

Service was mediocre, the glasses weren't clean, and when asked about it they were exchanged grumpily. The food was like from the canteen.

The waitresses are very friendly, courteous and quick. The food is delicious, typically Franconian but there are also European specialties. We have been here several times and would love to come back! The beer garden by the river is really cozy with the little bunnies. Really great for every occasion, adults and children! 👍🏼

Sad development. Price up quality and performance down simply became expensive with small portions. 4 sticks of asparagus with 3 small half potatoes for 20.56 is a bad joke. We used to love coming but that was the last time.

The beer garden is really nice, lots of greenery and right on the river. There are parking spaces directly opposite. We were rather disappointed with the food. The bread from Strammen Max wasn't the freshest and was too dry for me. The schnitzel looked and tasted like a finished product. Our group didn't find the service particularly warm either. All in all, no reason to come back.

Had the baked pepper carp and it was solid! Potato salad was homemade and the service was quick and friendly. In the summer it's definitely beautiful by the river and the old traditional restaurant is absolutely cozy.

We went there for dinner yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. The meal consisted of three courses - wild garlic soup, Schäuferla, chocolate cake. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. Drinks didn't take longer than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, hot and served quickly. I had no objection to the taste, as a very critical Schäuferla fanatic I ate one of the best Schäuferla ever yesterday. Side dishes with two small dumplings and sauerkraut, well portioned. The slightly higher prices were therefore completely justified and the visit was a positive experience.

Actually, I'm not the kind of person who gives bad reviews, BUT serving such a small salad for just under €13 is an absolute disgrace. The wild garlic soup for €6.12 was also a joke. Niiiiie again

We rented the barbecue hut in the garden - sensational! Great location, first-class and super friendly service, unique ambience. The Regnitz rushes, the sun sets and you sit comfortably on reindeer skins around the open fire and grill your steak, bratwurst or whatever over blazing flames. You can rent with service (food and drinks from the knight) or without (dishes, cutlery, wood, etc. are always provided). It was a really nice, sociable evening in a really cool environment, A1! Thank you so much for that!

A good traditional restaurant with Franconian dishes and a menu written in Franconian. 👍 The service staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. Everyone helps everyone, so everything works smoothly. Even though the various rooms are all very well occupied, the order and the food don't take long to arrive. The side salads have a tasty dressing and the main courses are still traditionally freshly prepared and seasoned with fine spices. The prices are very reasonable and the menu is also full of fine veggie and vegan dishes. In the summer I'm looking forward to trying out the garden restaurant, which is located directly on the Regnitz. We'd love to come back.

Last summer we spent an overnight stay here on our trip to Croatia. Had a spacious family room, it was very neat and fully equipped. You can enjoy very good and delicious food in the restaurant. There is a nice playground for the children. Nice view of the river. Breakfast was also more than fine 👍🏻

Just for eating: Fabulous food. Above all, great Franconian cuisine. Almost never eaten so well.

Located not far from the Siemens Campus, a classic and beautiful restaurant. Upscale menu with Franconian specialists. The Franconian Sauerbraten was a poem, beautifully prepared, tender meat, red cabbage very seasoned and dumplings fluffy and good but small.

Very tasty food and super friendly service

Rooms are spread across many houses in town. Very inconvenient in the morning because of breakfast in the main building and in the evening for a beer after work. Food is very good for that.
