The interior is very worn and from the 70s. If the service were very hospitable, this would compensate, but unfortunately. The waitress was very unwelcoming. Got the menu card and she left without asking if we wanted anything to drink. Order is taken and what is striking is that she does not look at her guests. very rude. After dinner the table was cleared and we were not asked if we wanted dessert or anything to drink. The other guests were apparently staying at the hotel and were Germans. Apparently she could laugh and talk about this. So as a tourist it is absolutely not recommended.

Man sieht den Rhein nur durch Bäume hindurch ein wenig, daneben das Thermalbad. Hotel sehr alt, Essen geht so, Bedienung war unfreundlich.

The quality of this place has declined significantly in recent years... Deliveries always take an extremely long time, even though I live just a 2-minute drive away. With 5 out of 5 orders, something was simply missing, something was mixed up, and then they didn't even deliver the missing items. Last time, the food was inedible... Once, they delivered noodles instead of rice, and when I called to inquire, they said they were out of rice, which is why they sent noodles. Ten minutes later, out of curiosity, I called from a different number and ordered something with rice, just to see if they were telling the truth... :-) The owner simply lied about the rice, and when I confronted him, he made some Asian sounds that I couldn't understand at all. I told him that he'd lost us as customers and that we wouldn't be ordering from them again.

Today I was totally disappointed. A table became available, and I was able to sit down. Otherwise, everything was occupied or reserved. The service was, as usual, very friendly and nice. Then I got my water and ordered my food. Then the waitress came and placed a reserved sign on the table from a distance. In other words: hurry up. Then the food arrived: the fish was swimming in fat and the potatoes were cold. Then a woman came to help me. The person at the next table wanted to pay. I said: "Please bring me the bill too." The rather snide answer: "I already asked if I could pay with cash or by card." I've never experienced anything like that there before.

We were thrilled. Very cozy. The food was delicious. The only issue is parking. You have to walk a bit; there aren't any.

We ate there last week with two people. The wine was absolutely delicious and easy to drink. The venison goulash was very good, but unfortunately, the wild salmon wasn't cooked all the way through, but it was raw. After we complained, we were served the same piece of salmon again, but this time it was cooked all the way through. The rösti were crispy and good. The lady who served us must have been having a bad day. She wasn't exactly unfriendly, but she wasn't friendly either.
