Restaurant Olympia 776 in Bad Tölz

Good and fresh food, but small portions at high prices. This is the first Greek where I couldn't get anywhere near full... and without being very hungry beforehand. If there is a children's menu, it would be nice to be given this and if there are small children at the table, appropriate cutlery would also be appropriate.

We were there with our kids this evening! Super delicious and the kids also got something specially made! So everyone was happy! Thank you

The food was good, the prices are slightly above the German average, there are few options for seafood.

€12.80 for a 0.5l wine spritzer, that's better than anything I've experienced so far!!! The staff only has a limited command of the German language, mixes everything up and brings the wrong food. The ambience resembles a train station hall. Unfortunately not recommended.

The rooms are cozy in the front area, but more of a ballroom atmosphere in the back. The staff was slow and seemed overwhelmed. Everything happened very slowly, some people had already had their food, others were still waiting for their drink. The gyros in “Metaxasauce” is an absolute failure: very cheap meat with cartilage, Metaxasauce was not noticeable at all, but everything was swimming in oil/fat. As dessert, a plate was delivered with some fruit and, unfortunately, some of the whipped cream. All of this at pretty hefty prices. Unfortunately it's not worth repeating for me.

Despite reserving a table and asking for a quiet place, we were seated right at the entrance. The ambience is sober and unfortunately lacks the typical Greek flair. The service was friendly and attentive, but the owner wasn't very friendly and was waiting to close again as quickly as possible. Food was okay, but not outstanding. The prices are completely overpriced!

The staff tried very hard to ensure the guests' satisfaction. For the aperitif there was an ouzo on the house and for dessert me and my girlfriend also received an additional dessert on the house. Very pleasant portion sizes and good quality of food.

Went to Olympia 776 for lunch today. We sat outside in the beautiful beer garden. Our dog was also welcome and was given water straight away. The staff is very friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The Mix Platter actually has something for everyone. Juicy gyros, bifteki, souwlaki and fries and tzatziki. I had the gyro plate with grilled calamari. For dessert there was Greek yogurt with strawberry sauce. Rarely eaten so well. Price/performance top.

Quiet environment in the guest garden, nice service and good food

We have been regular customers for many years and have often visited this restaurant on special occasions. Unfortunately my father's 60th birthday was our last visit as both the service and the food had clearly deteriorated. It no longer meets the expectations one would have of a local restaurant.

We had an excellent meal in this restaurant yesterday. The boss as well as the boss and employees are very friendly and polite, no rush, no stress, you feel warmly welcome as a guest. So we have been holiday guests in Bad Tölz for years and, as always, we had the problem of where do we go to eat on Mondays? By chance we discovered this Greek restaurant and decided to try it out. That was a big mistake because from that point on we became the biggest fans of this restaurant!!!!!!! The ambience, the food, the service, the beautiful terrace, the warmth and the price-performance ratio were simply world class in our opinion. I would like to ask everyone who reads the reviews here, don't let some of them put you in a bad mood, try it out and you will be just as excited as we are, I guarantee it. PS: Unfortunately I didn't take any photos because the food was so good that I didn't even get around to it (hi, hi, hi).

Good dishes, also a small lunch menu. Nice stay in the beer garden. Service sometimes takes a little longer at lunchtime. However, we were very disappointed on our last visit 😞. The warm starters seemed partially warmed up, the spinach dumpling was bright green (?) colored on the inside, the stuffed peppers were solid on the outside and barely edible. In another dish, pine nuts were missing, the ones that were added were completely burnt on one side and were not edible. Not only one guest was surprised at the quick digestion. It's a shame, but we won't be back there any time soon.

Es werden auch kleinere Gerichte auf der Seniorenkarte angeboten. Zusätzlich gibt es eine sehr gute Tageskarte. Ich habe Miesmuscheln gehabt, die waren hervorragend.

BITTE LESEN SIE AUCH DIE UPDATES AM ENDE DER REZENSION In der 7.KW 22 zum ersten Mal dort - notgedrungen, weil unser "Tölzer-Lieblingsgrieche" dauerhaft geschlossen hat. Wir - 3 Personen - wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Bestellungen wurden schnell entgegengenommen. Getränke, Beilagensalat und Hauptspeisen wurden rasch gebracht; auch der Ouzo auf's Haus :-) Alles war sehr schmackhaft und appetitlich angerichtet. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Dessert aufs Haus - und der schmeckte richtig gut. Achtung: Mittagskarte nur von Mo.-Fr. Wir waren am Samstag da, daher ohne Mittagskarte. Die Preise sind angemessen, vor allem wenn man Münchner-Preise gewohnt ist. Großer (kostenloser!) Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Corona-2G wurde abgefragt. 2 Dinge sollten verbessert werden: Beim Betreten des Lokals lag ein strenger Chlorgeruch (offenbar vom Reinigungsmittel) in der Luft - und: Der etwas kräftige Ober sollte sich eine Schürze umbinden.. . . Update März 2023: Der Beilagensalat war einfallslos, nicht mal 1 Olive oder gar Pfefferoni fanden sich dort, und das im griechischen Restaurant. Die Pommes, bislang immer Top, diesmal labberig. Gyros hart, kleine Stückchen. Den obligatorischen Ouzo auf's Haus gab es nicht. Ich hoffe, dass dies heute nur ein ärgerlicher Ausrutscher war, denn es war alles andere als gut. Gern hätte ich der Bedienung selber gesagt, was heute schlecht war. Leider wurde nicht gefragt wie es war, und ob es geschmeckt hat . . . Update 09.2023: Beilagensalat: erschreckend einfallslos! Blattsalat, ein paar wenige Karottenschnipsel, noch weniger ein paar Krautschnibbel - und eben ein Dressing. Die (drei verschiedene) Speisen waren o,K. Positiv: ein Joghurt-Dessert gratis. Es gab im Gegensatz zu früheren Jahren (wieder) keinen Ouzo auf's Haus. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für mein Empfinden nicht mehr ausgewogen.

Nicht wider Das Restaurant ist groß wir waren zum Mittag dort und die einzigste, Personal war freundlich wen auch nicht sehr bemüht, essen war zum angewöhnen, suflaki schmeckte nur nach fett, Gyros war OK wen auch nicht besonders Suzuki schien gerade so durch und der Tomatenreis knirschte vor Salz beim Essen Metaxa Soße schmeckte wie Maggie Tomaten fix Alles zusammen nette Gegend aber der schlechteste Grieche bei dem wir bisher waren

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 12 Wanderern , wurden herzlich begrusst und in 2 Tischen mit viel Platz gesessen. Das Restaurant ist riesig und schoen dekoriert. Alle Gerichte mit der Ausnahme von Mousakas waren auszegeichnet. Die Preise koennen im ersten Blick als leicht uberdurchschnittlich angesehen werden aber sobald man sieht was alles mitgeliefert wird (grosse Portionen, Beilagen, Salat, Ouzo...) dann sind sie mehr als fair. Ich personlich empfehle den uberbackenen Gyros mit Beilagen Kartoffeln, sehe bild 3 und Rotwein Nemea. Gerne wieder.

Gutes Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter, die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte reichte gut für Drei. Wir hatten gegrillte Leber, gegrillte Calamaris und Gyros. Alles schmeckte gut und war ausreichend. Kleine kulinarische Geschenke haben den Besuch abgerundet. Sehr zu empfehlen! Auch beim nächsten Besuch war der Service perfekt und das Esser sehr gut.

Hier erlebt man Gaumensex, Top Qualität. Frische und Geschmack der Extraklasse. Wenn man in die Nähe kommt riecht man schon Griechenland. Die Portionen sehr gut, wobei hier immer mehr gehen würde ;-) Preis Leistung mehr als gerechtfertigt und in Ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Immer eine Reise wert. Dieses Restaurant verdient 10 Sterne. Ein Muss wenn man in Bad Tölz oder Umgebung ist. Besonders toll finde ich die kleinen Vorspeisen, man kann sich Quasi durch Griechenland essen. Hier ist authentische Küche nicht nur ein Wort. Wer Griechenlandurlaub in Deutschland sucht muss hier her. Aber Vorsicht macht Süchtig;-) Danke für diesen Genuss

Also ein tolles Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist modern und doch beirodch rustikal. Draussen kann an sehr gut sitzen. Der Service ist sehr gut. Getränke und Karte werden schnell gebracht und der Chef persönlich nimmt die essenbestellung auf und rechnet ab. Er überlegt sich selbst von der Zufriedenheit. Es gab dessert aufs Haus was ich so selten erlebt hatte und das Essen war mega. Es hat allen geschmeckt und dort weiß man was man tut... sehr empfehlenswerte Adresseum in Bad Tölz ein Preis /Leistungsstarkes Essen u bekommen.

We are Canadians travelling in Barvaria for 2 weeks. We decided to try this Greek restaurant. We have been to Greece several times and my partner's family is Greek. We had such a nice experience at this restaurant, the owner (Fotios) was such an amazing host! Complimentary ouzo on arrival and the meal was so good we went back for dinner the next evening!! Cant say enough nice things about the food, service and welcoming atmosphere for 2 traveller that speak terrible German !! Thank you, we will be back someday !!

Leckeres Essen. Inzwischen sehr freundliches Personal. Die Optik hat sich ein wenig zum positiven geändert. Noch ein langer Weg zu einem griechischen flair. Geht trotzdem hin. Wie gesagt das Essen ist lecker. Zum wiederholten male dort gewesen. Schmeckt wie immer sehr gut. Preiwerter Mittagstisch 11.10 Euro

Meine Frau und ich haben noch niemals so gut griechisch gegessen. Wir mögen keine Fleischberge, wo unten rum der Reis und die Pommes beim Schneiden des Fleisches rausquillen. Von daher wurden wir sehr positiv überrascht. Die gegrillten Tintenfische mit dem Gyros waren der Hammer.

Erstmals besucht... 🤩, wir kommen wieder! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, große Portionen, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt!
