Very professional, there was a confirmation SMS when we made the reservation. Ordering drinks from a tray takes some getting used to (for us older semesters). The quality and presentation of the food is first class. The focus is on high-quality meat products, but there is also an excellent selection for vegetarians. Upscale pricing.

Really good place. Very yummy and the food is presented well, too. We had a mixed plate as a group, and other than a long wait before dessert had nothing to criticise.

The food was prepared promptly and of excellent quality. With a table of 16 people, the serving was simultaneous and flawless. We ordered beef fillet, entrecote, sac kavurma, sultansofrasi and fish. The desserts, including Künefe and Katmer, were also excellent.

The food is very tasty, I really recommended the lamb fillet for the main course. Unfortunately, it all takes a relatively long time, including the drinks, although they go much faster. Absolutely great for Hamm. The atmosphere is appealing but a bit cramped.

Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still got a table for two. The drinks were ordered via tablet and came very, very quickly. They were also at the table quickly when reordering. The service was friendly and nice. The food was super tasty, hot and the meat was tender and really good. Unfortunately, instead of truffle mayonnaise, we only got normal mayonnaise and there was no waitress who could correct that, so a star deduction for service. Because even when we said it when we were clearing away, we wanted to take care of it again, but nothing came of it. At the end there was a raki on the house. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. It's not cheap, but the price-performance ratio is good

Very tasty, unfortunately the reservations are for 2 hours. If you want to sit for longer, especially on weekends and public holidays, it is usually not possible. That's a shame. But a very busy restaurant, always pretty full and the food tastes delicious...

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone on a vegan diet! Yesterday, when I pointed out to the waiter a reference to dairy products on an appetizer labeled vegan, I got an eye roll after I decided to try something else. The appetizer tasted okay. For the main course I got the Mantis in non-vegan form, which I was told halfway through eating. I got a quick sorry - we're only human and at least I didn't have to pay for the main course. It's a shame, the ambience is actually so nice!

It's not the classic Turk. Modern stylish. The dishes are reinterpreted. The seasoning could be bolder. Conclusion: I would come again if I am in Hamm.

We were there on Friday evening to enjoy some Mediterranean cuisine with a few colleagues. The restaurant is very busy and reservations are definitely recommended. We decided on the grill plate for several people. Unfortunately it took a lot of time until the drinks were at the table, by which time the starter was already history. The first disappointments came with the main course. For a grill plate for 4 people, a total of 4 small bowls of side dishes were included. The bowl of vegetables for 4 people was the size of half an apple, no chance that 4 people could taste it equally. According to the menu, the platter also includes a side salad per person, but unfortunately this was not served. When we asked when paying, we were told that the side salad was only served upon request... Why is it listed as a side dish on the menu... The main focus of the grill plate is of course the meat. The cutlets and chicken skewers were fair to good. The Adana was completely over-seasoned, the rest was unfortunately fried completely dry... Unfortunately, more than just disappointing for the price. I find price/performance to be below average. Next time we're in the area, we'll look for an alternative

My son's 18th birthday was beautifully decorated. For my son it was a nice surprise with music and cake. Food was so delicious again. Service very nice and very organized, very friendly. They are very happy to be there

A very good restaurant. We ate Turkish dishes there, once Adana skewers and once chicken skewers with rice, potatoes and salad. We were very satisfied, it tasted very good, only the potato wedges were a little too crispy. The toilets were clean, but a bit tight when going in and out or washing your hands. But the staff was very nice and the service was courteous and organized. A little more expensive, but cozy, nice atmosphere. Recommended.

Everything was good...I deducted half a star because the prices were a bit too high and the portions were a bit too small. I will definitely come back.

The Olive is a Turkish restaurant in downtown Hamm. The food was authentic and very tasty. We particularly liked the appetizer and grill platter. The service was consistently friendly and accommodating. Upon request, the table was beautifully decorated and the drinks were also lovingly prepared and delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Very disappointing! We were here over a year ago, it was wonderful, quality of food very good and staff very friendly. There will be no next time for me. We were here again last week on December 21st, 2024, we also made a reservation beforehand for 5:45 p.m. It was a disaster in terms of the staff, starting with the drinks. Half of us got nothing and the other half got nothing after we asked for our drinks, a mushy answer that we had already received it. Then there was an “oops and oh” from the waiter and the drinks were simply brought without an apology. Well, we thought it was full and could happen. After the starter it took a very long time, the main course came and didn't come. We had to wait over an hour for our food, only when we asked the lady at reception, who was very unfriendly, "You still have your starter, why are you acting like that" was the answer. After I pointed out to her that the starter had been cleared away for an hour, she walked past me without an answer. One order didn't come as ordered either, of course we sent it back. The only thing that was great was the little blonde waitress who tried very hard. The rest of the service made us feel like we were getting something for free and should be grateful that we were getting something to eat. Respect is the least that is expected. The delicious food doesn't help either. Never again…. Such behavior, without consideration for the guests, is not acceptable.

Great location with first-class cuisine

Everything was great, the food was delicious, the service was quick, even though everything was busy.

Complete disappointment. We paid more for table decorations, for there were only a few rose petals on the table and a candle that wasn't even lit. The meat was undercooked and the bulgur was dry. The whole thing was completely overpriced! Just not worth the hype and praise!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to the Olive restaurant. The price-performance ratio of the food was not at all good. The bulgur and potato slices were unseasoned and very pale in taste. What was particularly disappointing was the waitress' reaction after we expressed our disappointment with the food. Instead of responding to this, the unprofessional remark was: “Yes, it doesn’t matter.” We wouldn't have expected something like this in a restaurant with such good reviews. We drove an extra hour because we relied on the positive reviews - the disappointment was even greater. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Schade! Wir hatten uns auf den Abend sehr gefreut. Obwohl es nicht überfüllt war, kam das Essen erst nach 1.5 Stunden. Damit hätte ich noch leben können, aber dann die Enttäuschung. Hatte die 150 bestellt. Die Kartoffeln dröge und nur noch laut warm. Das Gemüse kalt, außer es lag unter dem Fleisch - dann wenigstens lau. Das Fleisch ebenfalls. Da ich mittlerweile Hubger hatte, habe ich es so hingenommen. Schade, wirklich schade! Eigentlich bin ich hier andere Ansprüche der Küche gewohnt. Die Bedienung schafft es noch nicht mal einen Tisch, der über eine halbe Stunde leer steht, abzuräumen. Von den Chefs leider keine Spur - könnte durchaus daran liegen. Gehe jedenfalls Enttäuschung nach Hause.

I've eaten very well there several times. So far it has always been well occupied, be sure to reserve a table. Always a bit loud there...and fancy plastic glasses for carafe water...hence 1 star deducted...but always happy!!

This time it wasn't really fun. Uncomfortable place in the cloakroom, where you were constantly disturbed by other guests. Atmosphere very loud. Bulgur and potatoes lukewarm. Beef Dana Sis tough.

Ich war mit 5 freunde bei Oluve in Hamm essen.Ich habe von vorne Kellner erwähnt ,dass ich bei meiner menü keine Kartofeln haben möcht, habe trotzdem bekommen.Darauf hin habe ich Kellner angesprochen.er hat mir gesagt ich soll das menü in die mitte stellen.Das habe ich auch gemacht ,nach 10- 15 min.kamm nichts.meine freunde haben das Kartoffeln auf dem teller war aufgegessen und ich kamm mit leeren Magen nachhause zurück.Natürlich vollen preis bezahlt.Obwohl bei bezahlung habe ich den Kellner angesprochen er meinte ich sollte das Kartoffel auf mein menü meine freunde geben und ich das Fleisch essen sollte.Ich frag mir wo ich gelandet bin.Wo gibs so was.Service reinste Katastrofe. Niewieder.

Even though we made a reservation well in advance, we were simply seated in the hallway in front of the kitchen. The guests in front of us, without a reservation, got the good seat. The staff at the entrance didn't have the insight to give us a good seat, only the note "Next time please state your exact wishes", for me there won't be a next time. Food was good. The arbitrariness of the lady at the entrance is unacceptable.

Were there today, I would have preferred not to give a star, the meat was raw, the wrong menu came, just a small apology, I was totally disappointed, you deserved better for the money, never again

Food was generally good, but almost cold. Service absolute disaster. The two of us had to wait 15 minutes for our reserved table. Not offered a free drink. In order to pay I had to ask for the bill twice. Beforehand, all other guests who asked for the bill after us were taken care of. Even after bringing these things up, you didn't even get a drink on the house.

Wanted to eat very good Turkish food We decided on the olive because it was good 5 years ago. Very reminiscent of a canteen and expensive, loud and crowded.

We got a tip from friends to eat here and we weren't disappointed. The vegetarian manti were delicious - the portion was huge. The baked eggplant from the casserole was also tasty. Our child was given a watermelon as a gift from the house - we thought that was super nice. Very (children)-friendly service. We got a table even though nothing could be booked via the app. Very hardworking and friendly.

Start with the best, the ambience, cozy and beautiful. The service staff is very attentive and mostly friendly, everyone has a bad day sometimes! The food was good, but the composition would need to be reconsidered! The knives are not very sharp! There are no plates, it is served on a hot plate, I didn't like it. But overall a nice evening.

Wir waren als Mädels Gruppe (7 Personen) abends essen. Tisch 17:30. essen kam gegen 19 Uhr. Das Essen schmeckte wirklich nicht. Fleisch so lala, bulgur, lauwarm, gar kein Geschmack! Kartoffeln waren lecker. Der Witz: die Dips im Schälchen! Ein kleiner Teelöffel dip?!? Also ich bin ja nicht geizig, aber sowas geht schon mal gar nicht. Essen schmeckte angebrannt. Der Knaller war dann aber, um 19:57. der Kellner kam und bat uns auf zustehen! Der Tisch wäre reserviert. OK! Es waren 12 andere Tische frei, jedoch hatte er keinen für uns! Wir hatten 10 Minuten vorher 2 Dessert Etageren bekommen, wo wir noch nicht mal die Hälfte von gegessen hatten. Er bat uns zu zahlen. Eine von uns zahlte bar. Er suchte dann nach 10 Cent in seinem Geldbeutel und sagte dann, dass er keine 10 Cent Rückmeldung hat! Als ich ihm sagte, das es ja noch andere Kassen gibt, wo dann noch sicherlich 10 ct drin sind, schaute er dumm u ging. Er hat das Festgeld einfach nicht zurück gegeben. Er stand so lange am Tisch, bis wir aufgestanden sind! So richtig unverschämt. Wir bezahlten einen Salat, den wir gar nicht bekommen haben, da dieser vergessen wurde. Trinkgeld gab es sicherlich nicht, am Ende des Tages waren es dann die 2,50€ für den nicht erhaltenen Salat! Zum dippen von Brot hatten wir Olivenöl bestellt. Da wussten die erstmal nicht was wir meinen. Bekommen haben wir dann frittier fett, warm, das nach Pommes roch in einem Schälchen. Also ganz ehrlich. Absolutes NO GO. Der Laden ist ab heute gestrichen für uns alle. So ein Saublödes Verhalten, frech und unfreundlich bis hin zu unverschämt. Die sind ihr Geld NULL wert. Da kann man echt besser bei mekkes essen. Silvester essen war schon ein Mega Reinfall da. Da bekam man schon zuhören, das keiner Lust hatte an dem Tag zu arbeiten u die froh waren das die überhaupt Kellner da hatten. Also ohne Witz. Da gibts es 100 andere bessere und freundlichere lokale in der Umgebung. NIE WIEDER!!!!

Very good Turkish cuisine, the steaks look good, but we didn't try them. Reservations are essential on weekends. Higher price level, but not overpriced. Pleasant atmosphere, not too loud, you can still have a good conversation. A bit tight on the gallery. It wasn't the last time we were there!

Very nice and courteous employees. There was a small thing that wasn't what we wanted and the waitress and waiter were very, very nice and provided something nice from the house as a nice gesture. We have been coming for 2 years and I have to say I will definitely come back. Many thanks and hats off to the employees who work hard to make every customer happy.

Delicious restaurant in the heart of Hamm, although the selection of vegetarian dishes could be larger. In my opinion, the portion sizes are also small for the price. I can still recommend Restaurant Olive, the service is very friendly!

A nice restaurant, but unfortunately it didn't taste as good as we expected. The starters were good so far. The main courses were just too bland and too minimal. The prices are therefore not appropriate. The desserts are also way too expensive. Unfortunately the mascarpone was no longer good. It was served too warm. The drinks in 0.4 were served with metal straws, which is not hygienic. One drink was not chilled. I wouldn't want to eat there anymore.

It was our first time at Olive and the ambience is nice but loud. The food was good, no question, but the service was really bad. We had to wait over an hour for our food and only got it after asking two waiters. An order was forgotten and was not resubmitted despite requests. The portion size didn't convince us for the price and unfortunately didn't fill us up either. When the bill was paid, it was clear that the employees did not want to take responsibility among themselves and were pushing this onto other employees. We will think again about whether we will visit the Olive again, but will refrain from doing so in the near future. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio was very disappointing.

The best Pide in Hamm and the surrounding area, although the second course was equally tasty and fresh. The atmosphere and service are at a very good level. There were a lot of people, we had to wait a bit for the dishes, but that's normal. I give it 5* because I will definitely come back to try something else too. I recommend and greet ✌️

Überteuerte Getränke, verbranntes Essen und noch nicht mal eine Entschuldigung oder ein Getränk aufs Haus dafür. Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin. Alleine schon das bestellen der Getränke über ein IPad ist ein Witz. Das Essen ist auch nicht überragend, rechtfertigt keinesfalls den Preis.

There are far too many tables in far too little space. You order the drinks yourself via iPad, so NO service. The food was also underwhelming and far too expensive. The starter platter, which costs €27 FOR TWO, offers dry grape leaves, a few sad olives, 2 börek, 2 peppers, a bit of shepherd's cheese, a bit of pickled or fried vegetables and 4 simple dips. My partner got the simplest kebab meat with tomato sauce for €23 without any side dish. Another friend had a burnt vegetarian dish that she had returned and was then told that all you had to do was remove the skin and it would be fine... Thank God someone in the kitchen remembered to rearrange the dish ! I can get vegetarian pide for €16 cheaper at any pizza shop. At least the wine tasted good. There was no compensation for the burnt food, not even an apology. Unfortunately, I don't understand many of the good reviews. We won't be coming back. Too bad.

We were a training group from different cities and were really looking forward to a nice meal. We just found the ambience, service and food - great!!!! Thank you for greetings from the kitchen before and the sagging of the house - raki afterwards..! We wanted to really enjoy the evening and drink a few bottles of wine here, but we decided to go somewhere else because we found the drinks menu very overpriced... Kind regards

The restaurant has a nice ambience. The staff are friendly and attentive. The wishes of the customers are taken into account. Since the restaurant is very popular, the prices were a bit high, but it's definitely worth a visit every now and then. I ordered manti, in my opinion you should pour the tomato sauce over the yoghurt because then the mantis stay nice and cold and are easier to eat. The first time I liked an İskender. I tried my husband's, it was very tasty. I would give 3 points for my Manti but a 5 for the İskender.
