Wir waren als Mädels Gruppe (7 Personen) abends essen. Tisch 17:30. essen kam gegen 19 Uhr. Das Essen schmeckte wirklich nicht. Fleisch so lala, bulgur, lauwarm, gar kein Geschmack! Kartoffeln waren lecker. Der Witz: die Dips im Schälchen! Ein kleiner Teelöffel dip?!? Also ich bin ja nicht geizig, aber sowas geht schon mal gar nicht. Essen schmeckte angebrannt. Der Knaller war dann aber, um 19:57. der Kellner kam und bat uns auf zustehen! Der Tisch wäre reserviert. OK! Es waren 12 andere Tische frei, jedoch hatte er keinen für uns! Wir hatten 10 Minuten vorher 2 Dessert Etageren bekommen, wo wir noch nicht mal die Hälfte von gegessen hatten. Er bat uns zu zahlen. Eine von uns zahlte bar. Er suchte dann nach 10 Cent in seinem Geldbeutel und sagte dann, dass er keine 10 Cent Rückmeldung hat! Als ich ihm sagte, das es ja noch andere Kassen gibt, wo dann noch sicherlich 10 ct drin sind, schaute er dumm u ging. Er hat das Festgeld einfach nicht zurück gegeben. Er stand so lange am Tisch, bis wir aufgestanden sind! So richtig unverschämt. Wir bezahlten einen Salat, den wir gar nicht bekommen haben, da dieser vergessen wurde. Trinkgeld gab es sicherlich nicht, am Ende des Tages waren es dann die 2,50€ für den nicht erhaltenen Salat! Zum dippen von Brot hatten wir Olivenöl bestellt. Da wussten die erstmal nicht was wir meinen. Bekommen haben wir dann frittier fett, warm, das nach Pommes roch in einem Schälchen. Also ganz ehrlich. Absolutes NO GO. Der Laden ist ab heute gestrichen für uns alle. So ein Saublödes Verhalten, frech und unfreundlich bis hin zu unverschämt. Die sind ihr Geld NULL wert. Da kann man echt besser bei mekkes essen. Silvester essen war schon ein Mega Reinfall da. Da bekam man schon zuhören, das keiner Lust hatte an dem Tag zu arbeiten u die froh waren das die überhaupt Kellner da hatten. Also ohne Witz. Da gibts es 100 andere bessere und freundlichere lokale in der Umgebung. NIE WIEDER!!!!

The best Pide in Hamm and the surrounding area, although the second course was equally tasty and fresh. The atmosphere and service are at a very good level. Überteuerte Getränke, verbranntes Essen und noch nicht mal eine Entschuldigung oder ein Getränk aufs Haus dafür. Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin. Alleine schon das bestellen der Getränke über ein IPad ist ein Witz. Das Essen ist auch nicht überragend, rechtfertigt keinesfalls den Preis.

There are far too many tables in far too little space. You order the drinks yourself via iPad, so NO service. The food was also underwhelming and far too expensive. The starter platter, which costs €27 FOR TWO, offers dry grape leaves, a few sad olives, 2 börek, 2 peppers, a bit of shepherd's cheese, a bit of pickled or fried vegetables and 4 simple dips. My partner got the simplest kebab meat with tomato sauce for €23 without any side dish. Another friend had a burnt vegetarian dish that she had returned and was then told that all you had to do was remove the skin and it would be fine... Thank God someone in the kitchen remembered to rearrange the dish ! I can get vegetarian pide for €16 cheaper at any pizza shop. At least the wine tasted good. There was no compensation for the burnt food, not even an apology. Unfortunately, I don't understand many of the good reviews. We won't be coming back. Too bad.

We were a training group from different cities and were really looking forward to a nice meal. We just found the ambience, service and food - great!!!! Thank you for greetings from the kitchen before and the sagging of the house - raki afterwards..! We wanted to really enjoy the evening and drink a few bottles of wine here, but we decided to go somewhere else because we found the drinks menu very overpriced... Kind regards

The restaurant has a nice ambience. The staff are friendly and attentive. The wishes of the customers are taken into account. Since the restaurant is very popular, the prices were a bit high, but it's definitely worth a visit every now and then. I ordered manti, in my opinion you should pour the tomato sauce over the yoghurt because then the mantis stay nice and cold and are easier to eat. The first time I liked an İskender. I tried my husband's, it was very tasty. I would give 3 points for my Manti but a 5 for the İskender.

The first few times on Sundays were quite nice. Until I got a piece of wire from the scourer or mouth in my lentil soup. This was immediately reported to the boss and he immediately came to the table and trivialized the matter by telling me: “Something like that can happen” as if it were happening all the time. Unfortunately, hygiene is a top priority in this store! As a gesture, I was supposed to pay for my meal as normal at the end, including soup!!! It really shocked me how casually the boss handled this matter (arrogant and disrespectful)!! I haven't visited the store since then and don't recommend it!!!

We've been driving 50 km to eat there for years but this was the last time for us! We paid 121 euros for a group menu for 3 people, which wasn't a problem. But when it comes to quantity, it's no longer normal. A lot was saved. At the same time, of course, it also became more expensive!! Us customers are having their hard-earned money taken out of their pockets. I have added two pictures here as proof.

Excellent food, unfortunately at a very high price level, but top quality! The lamb and steaks are second to none. The service clears up quickly, the main course is served immediately after the starter, the operator seems to be interested in quick processing. Unfortunately, the through traffic drives directly past the covered outdoor area, including the buses. Drinks must be ordered independently using a tray. The tables are close together and there is no privacy, at most at the end n tables along the walls. Anyone who likes Turkish food will not be disappointed!

I think the price-performance ratio is zero. The steak I ordered was super tasty. I don't think it's necessary to wait 15 minutes twice to drink. For dessert we ordered künefe. I don't know where this künefe came from, it tasted really dry, I only took a bite and then left it. I liked the frozen künefe from the Turkish shop that you can make in the open. You really have to work on that. By the way, it was very warm in the restaurant. The 3 stars are for the very tasty steak. It's a shame that the rest didn't fit at all

I've been coming to Olive for years but the last few times have just been disappointing... The food is tasty but the portions have become smaller and are around €6 more expensive. The service is now catastrophic, waiters are unfriendly neither thank you nor a friendly greeting. We wanted to order something more but no waiter came. Last time we were offered tea, waited half an hour and then left because nothing came. The service was definitely better a few years ago. Now it's not just one person taking care of a table but 10 people who don't know about each other.

Stylish yet cozy restaurant in the city center. Very friendly and attentive staff. Since I eat vegetarian, I was happy about the large selection of unusual dishes. Mega delicious and freshly prepared food. Non-vegetarians also get a large selection and fresh food here. The portions are reasonable. Not too small but not too big either. I will gladly come again. One point deducted for the ambience is the street noise, which makes you feel like you're sitting in the middle of the intersection when the window is open. But the operator can't help that. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants schien zur Anfang gemütlich. Der Bestellvorgang lief am Anfang noch gut und mit einer kurzen Wartezeit, aber da enden auch die guten Komplimente. Wir hatten bei uns im Entrée bei einem der Pasten ein Haar gefunden. Das Essen war in Ordnung, jedoch wurde aus einem Medium Steak eher ein raw Steak. Zudem hatten wir noch Desserts bestellt, die jedoch aufgrund eines Systemfehlers bei uns nie ankam. Darauf hatten wir fast eine halbe Stunde gewartet. Als Tüpfchen auf dem i war das Personal unverschämt unfreundlich gegenüber uns und der Ton war höchst unprofessionell. Immerhin gab es guter türkischer Tee.

This is a really good and tasty steakhouse offering steaks Turkish style along with some traditional Turkish cuisine. If you are going to a steakhouse, it goes without saying that you should try any of the steak cuts. Different places make these in different ways, so this place has a nice Turkish style to the food. If you like, you can select from a variety of traditional Turkish dishes which are delicious and well cooked. The atmosphere is really nice and warm, staff are friendly and the service is in a timely manner. There is a separate drinks and dessert menu. If your stomach has enough space, I would recommend to try one of their really yummy desserts. Having mentioned all this, I come from Australia and we have lots of Turkish restaurants but the one here is a must try if you are a fan of Turkish food. The prices are moderate and affordable, and I would recommend a visit to this place. I take my hat off to the chefs and staff.

I came to celebrate a special occasion with my family. We ordered three main dishes and drinks. The service was slow, waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. The staff was very busy since the restaurant was completely full that night. Tomahawk steak was underwhelming, compared to the steaks in the US steak restaurants. The lamb grilled dish and the mixed salad were both amazing. Overall, this was a good experience, despite a long wait to order and a long wait for our food to arrive. Prices were very reasonable.

We had a table by the window, good choice. The food is good. A (small) problem is the strange glasses: small, round, thick-walled, hand grenade pattern. We celebrated our wedding in Olive and were very satisfied. The food was really tasty, especially the steaks were cooked just right. We went to Olive this evening. There's really nothing to complain about the service and the ambience. It was really very pleasant and friendly. We had also heard some good things beforehand. Now let's get to the food: it's really delicious. But the portions don't leave you full or even at least full. It's really manageable and it's a shame because we were really hoping for a nice meal and you look forward to the food all day long. You also have to be honest that €5 or €6 for fries is not justified if you get around 10 fries. That really shocked me. The meat is chopped up on the plate and doesn't even come close to the number of grams that is on the menu. We will no longer visit Olive and we know of much better alternatives.

I was there with my husband around 6 p.m., we were warmly welcomed and shown to our reserved table. The reservation was easily possible online. I have lactose and gluten intolerance, but that wasn't a problem, the cellar passed it on to the kitchen. Drinks and dessert are ordered at the table via an iPad and then served. For the main course we had beef fillet with sweet potato fries or potato slices and guacamole. The meat was very tender, well cooked and served hot. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Went to eat at Olive's for the first time. The food was OK, it's a shame that the windows and doors are completely open when the weather is nice. This means that the exhaust gases come into the restaurant, which was unpleasant for me.

Last Sunday we were lucky enough to reserve a table at Olive's at short notice. Had previously seen pictures from friends. And we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the service is top notch. The food was first class. We had a dry aged steak coated in butter, a dream, as well as lamb ribs and iskender. Everything tasted wonderful. As a starter, the meze platter for 2 was also an absolute highlight. We'd love to come back. Remember to reserve promptly, the store is always fully booked.

In short; All dishes were very well prepared and tasted very, very good 👍 I think the pricing (almost €8 for a bottle of water) is excessive, but a maximum of €4.50 is fine here. I'm happy to pay for the really good quality of the food, but with a simple bottle of water you pay the price of a whole box, that doesn't have to be the case. But otherwise, service was very good, everything was very tidy, the chairs were very comfortable and it wasn't too loud, despite the background music playing.

Due to the size of the location and the background noise, the conversation was unfortunately only possible to a limited extent and unfortunately not recommended for hearing aid wearers. First of all, the positive: The store is very tastefully decorated! You feel incredibly comfortable there if you eat in the restaurant. On the other hand, it's less nice to have to wait in the entrance area for the food if it isn't ready on time. On the contrary: it's really extremely unpleasant. And as tasteful as the furnishings are on one side, my food on the other side was put together carelessly - like in a canteen. The bread was very dry and looked "eaten". The Adana meat was burnt and - 5 minutes after I picked it up - already cold. Only the fried potatoes were very good. The salad, on the other hand, was average at best. And in the end I wasn't full either. I have to be honest and say that I expected a lot more for €22. Especially since I know what you can get for the price elsewhere. Of course - the eye eats too. But the rest should also be fine. And at least in my case that was definitely not the case, which I personally find very unfortunate.

Unfortunately very disappointing! We are new parents...my husband and I drove from Bielefeld to Hamm specifically because of the restaurant, finally without children and had not made a reservation. Tried it twice and because it was busy I left it. Since it was a Saturday and full, we were given a table right at the door in front of the cloakroom. Very second rate and unpleasant, but we understood it. BUT two young men who also didn't have a reservation got a seat at the window. How do I know? Well, you hear every conversation right at the door/reception. Then ordered food (Dry Age Porterhouse for 2) and were given good advice on the choice. UNFORTUNATELY the wrong order came, which we understood, but we waited over an hour for our food, which was also too raw. We had ordered medium rare and were able to send it back to have it cooked a little more, which was kind. BUT then a much smaller portion came back, NEVER 800 grams of meat... I wanted to say something, but since it was my husband's birthday yesterday and we didn't feel like going to the store anymore after all the back and forth, we have this leftover pile of meat (5 to 6 small pieces) and got up. Sorry guys, but overall a big big minus! Even though the waiter (I think it was the head waiter) was very friendly, everything was completely stupid. We paid the price for two and shared a portion. I could have said something again, but I felt uncomfortable complaining all the time. AND the place was a complete disaster... you felt like you were being punished because you didn't make a reservation (that was the reaction, a bit mocking, when we came in and were asked about a reservation). I think that after reading this review, you guys know exactly who I am...so it's also straight to you: Do better in the future!

Hamm's best restaurant when it comes to steaks. A wide variety of meat and fish dishes of all varieties - especially beef and lamb. There is no pork there. But it won't be missed either. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit this time. We ordered two salads, one of which consisted of lettuce, but with lots of mint leaves and dill sprigs, which dominated the taste. The pieces of goat cheese that came with it were rock hard. It must have been a few hours since they were fried. An additional lamb skewer was served in a small bowl without a skewer. Unfortunately the lamb was very tough. For this reason I left two-thirds of my food. The second salad was a hearty farmer's salad, but half of it consisted of fruit (pineapple, oranges, grapes and lemon), so you could get the feeling that it was a dessert. When it was cleared away, the waitress asked if we liked it, to which we replied no and gave a short explanation. There was no response. When it came to payment, we were asked again about our satisfaction. We then said again that we were not satisfied. The lady also had everything explained to me again, which was very friendly. We were given a waiver of drinks and offered a dessert, which we politely declined in view of the lateness of the hour. A certainly nice gesture, but I would have preferred to pay for my drinks myself and not pay for the food.

All good things come in threes...or not... We've been to Olive three times recently. The first time as a couple. The tablet didn't work and it took what seemed like forever until we got a new one. Of the main courses we ordered, only one initially came. After about 10 minutes we asked. The second one (Pide) had been forgotten. After another 10 minutes of waiting, they offered to keep the dish that had already been served warm... On the second visit with 6 people in the early evening everything went largely smoothly. The tea we ordered at the end turned out to be a pot of hot water - they had forgotten to add the tea. On the third visit we were escorted to the table. Drinks were ordered, of the 4 drinks ordered only 3 came. A menu was only handed out after about 20 minutes when asked. One person also ordered an appetizer. The food came after a long wait - a starter didn't come. Upon request, this was then served - AFTER the main course. We ordered another dessert via the tablet and waited another 40 minutes. I asked again, nothing happened. We then decided to pay as we weren't willing to wait any longer. An apology was made, there was a lack of staff in the kitchen. That's all understandable, but none of the three visits went without a hitch. Ordering via the tablet is all well and good, but for me it is part of the service that you still ask every now and then whether everything is OK. And if staff are absent for an extended period of time, it might be wise not to accept every reservation and fill the restaurant to capacity. It will be the last visit for a long time. But the food is always great in terms of taste.

Good Turkish cuisine with a special atmosphere. It's always worth it and the dessert is absolutely worth it.

Unfortunately we were disappointed! We had promised much more. It was crowded, hectic, tight (seating-wise) and the main course (an Angus steak for €40) was an entrecote with too little salt and little taste. The service was inattentive, bottles remained standing, and we received no support when the children had a juice accident. Drink tankards were small 0.4 so you had to order more often. Tables were very close together. Everything trimmed for cost-effectiveness. We found it good: Ambiance The starter platter with various delicacies (sheep's cheese!)

Food was good. A little tight and loud. Drinks delivery took a long time and was done via a tablet. Good idea but a little more service would be good.

Very good food, the service sometimes seems a bit overwhelming, but that's probably because this restaurant is always very busy.

Very nice shop with good food, service is sometimes good sometimes bad. Unfortunately, prices are too exaggerated for what you get (refers to the individual dishes) and the steaks are excellent.

The ambience and service convinced us. However, three out of six meals were not okay. We ordered the butter steak twice. This does not consist of one piece, but of different parts of meat from different origins. The taste was anything but buttery and delicate. The pieces of meat were tough and cooked differently. The lamb fillet was also not okay. On the one hand, the pieces were much too big for lamb fillet and on the other hand, there were many sinewy parts. Very amazing at fillet! There are two stars because the other three food was okay, the service was good and we ultimately didn't have to pay for two dishes.

The music in the restaurant is definitely too loud. I want to be able to have a conversation while eating without the table next to me overhearing everything. The food is very good.
