Very tasty food at reasonable prices and customer-oriented service.

Overall, we were very satisfied. Good value for money, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is modern and tasteful. However, we deducted one star because one dish arrived late, and my wife's meat was unfortunately cold. This was rectified without any problems. Nevertheless, it's a minor flaw, and there's still room for improvement.

They can do it! Meat lovers will find here the perfect combination of excellent quality and expert preparation. We usually come with colleagues in a group, and the service is always impeccable. I've never been disappointed and always enjoy coming back.

A nice restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. If a restaurant wants to compete in a certain league, the complimentary appetizer and other small details have to be just right. The complimentary appetizer, meant to whet the appetite, was embarrassing. A cheap piece of reheated white baguette, a tasteless spread, and a few olives. After the appetizer, our cutlery was taken from the appetizer plate and placed on the table in front of us. Yes, the used, dirty cutlery. On the bare table. Naturally, I expect clean cutlery after using it for the appetizer. If I had been dining here with business clients, I would have felt very uncomfortable. It was truly unappetizing. After ordering juices via tablet, the waiter brought bottles without glasses. Again, I expect a clean glass without having to ask. I'm not going to use the same glass for all my drinks in the evening. The food itself was good, but it could have used more seasoning and refinement. The pretzel sticks served with the goat cheese salad were inedible. Everyone left them, hesitant to bite into the rock-hard sticks. It's the little things that make a restaurant a good restaurant.

A fraudulent business brought something that had nothing to do with Iskender kebab and said, "We've been doing it this way for 10 years." Either you've been doing it wrong for 10 years, or you've been treating your customers like fools for 10 years. And then, as if to mock us, they offered us a free coffee at 8 pm. If you can't do it properly, don't do this job.

This made us feel clearly pressured to finish faster. The service of the food was also far from friendly. I've decided: I won't be coming back and I can't recommend this restaurant. The price and quality are also disproportionate. I'm happy to pay for good food – but that also includes feeling welcome as a guest. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

A really great steakhouse! The meat was cooked to perfection, incredibly juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes were excellent, and the service was very attentive. I'll definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant. Drinks and desserts are ordered using an iPad. Besides various meat dishes, there are also several vegetarian and even vegan options on the menu. It's not particularly cheap, but worth it for a nice evening.

We've enjoyed eating at the Olive Restaurant for years and have been very satisfied every time. Last week was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to go out to dinner to celebrate. Unfortunately, we didn't have a great evening at the restaurant this time. The waiter had a very dubious sense of humor and judged our drinking habits when we ordered a second homemade soda. I've been eating the Iskender Kebab for years. This time, unfortunately, it wasn't tasty at all. The meat was tough, and the tomato sauce tasted like a hot cup of instant soup. Unfortunately, no one even asked if it was tasty or whether it was tasty. This was our last visit to the Olive Restaurant after nine years.

I won't be visiting the restaurant again. The quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The meat is grilled to death and tough, and there aren't many vegetables. The value for money is completely out of proportion. The staff was completely stressed. I invited my boyfriend – it was supposed to be a special evening. He'll be unforgettable, too... We complained, but still paid the full amount. A shame. Never again. There are definitely better restaurants in Hamm.

We ate at Olive with eight people. All the dishes were very good. The service only gave us three stars because it took three attempts to serve the order correctly. The restaurant is very large, which, in my opinion, affects the ambiance.

Anyone who reduces Turkish cuisine to doner kebabs has never been to the Olive. Here you'll find everything that defines Turkish cuisine. And the restaurant is also building an excellent reputation as a steakhouse. They know meat - but not only that! Unlike some other steak specialists, they also serve outstanding vegetarian cuisine. It's just a shame that too many people already know that the Olive in Hamm knows what guests want. You shouldn't even bother going without a reservation, and given the number of seats, you shouldn't expect too much privacy. Every square meter is used here to generate revenue. The fact that the service, even when there's a full house, still smiles and is attentive - as far as humanly possible - sometimes borders on a small gastronomic miracle. But it's nice that they're still there at the Olive.

The food is consistently delicious – whether it's Turkish specialties, dishes from the special steak menu, fish, appetizers, or desserts. Everything is fresh, prepared with love, and delicious. The drinks selection is also very good. The location is beautiful, the ambiance cozy and stylish. I would especially like to highlight the service staff: The waiters are attentive, friendly, and always on the ball – you can tell that the work here is done with passion. There are also regular great offers – there's something for everyone. I always enjoy coming back – I highly recommend it!

One of the best restaurants in Hamm. Everything really fits together. Dining becomes an experience.

Drinks and desserts are ordered via a tablet. You also let us know if you'd like a member of staff at your table or if you'd like to pay. Unfortunately, after every order at the tablet, we had to wait a very long time for someone to come. And I'm talking waits of over 20 minutes. That might be fine when the restaurant is full, but not when the employee can sit down at a table with a group of other guests several times during that time to simply chat. Unfortunately, our food got cold during that time because we were missing part of our order and no one wanted to start until the entire order was at the table. We also had to wait a very long time to pay while the employee sat down again at the table with the aforementioned guests. I used to come here often and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, today was also my last visit.

We were there two years ago. The service was excellent and very attentive, constantly checking in between if everything was okay. Today we were there again with eight people for a 60th birthday party. We booked the birthday upgrade. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the table, they didn't even wait until everyone was seated (some went straight to the bathroom, since we had made the 1.5-hour drive). The waiter already came and explained the functions of the tablet to us. It wasn't that bad, but nobody asked about the "birthday boy or girl." We had to wait a long time before anyone even came to take our food, and every drink order took a really long time, at least 10-15 minutes. The birthday special included the "show act," where we had hoped the whole crew would literally create a good atmosphere, with several people bringing the cake to the table and everyone congratulating my mom on her birthday. Unfortunately, only one waiter came to place the cake on the table, and again, he didn't even ask whose birthday it was. No congratulations, nothing. This was truly disappointing. When you book something like this, you expect a little more attention and respect, especially for an anniversary like this. All in all, it was still a lovely evening, but the birthday upgrade was a bit disappointing. The food was delicious, top quality. We'd be happy to come back, just not for a birthday. There are restaurants that do this kind of thing with more enthusiasm, and for free.

I've been to this restaurant several times now and I'm always very satisfied. The staff is super friendly. I think it's a great idea that you use tablets on the tables to order drinks. The only thing that bothered me a bit during my visits was that the music was turned up a bit too loud at birthday parties. Overall, though, you can't go wrong here if you want to visit a good restaurant with friends or colleagues. The homemade peach lemonade is absolutely delicious.

Das beste Steak aus der Umgebung. Schmeckt immer wieder aufs neue lecker. Durch die lavaplatten ist selbst der letzte bissen noch warm. Der Service ist 1A sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wartezeit kann je nach Belastung ein wenig dauern aber alles noch im Rahmen. Das Ambiente ist durch die schlichte und moderne Einrichtung sehr einladend und herzlich. Preislich ist es ein wenig teurer als bei herkömmlichen Restaurants, dafür kriegt man aber auch dementsprechende Leistung in Form von einzigartigem Geschmack. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr gute Lage und einen großen (gebührenpflichtigen) Parkplatz. Platzreservierungen sind definitv vom Vorteil. Würde ich jedem weiter empfehlen der für ein gutes Stück Fleischbereit ist gerne auch ein wenig mehr zu bezahlen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Unfortunately, there were small weaknesses: The service was friendly, but did not implement two of our requests, which was a bit disappointing. In addition, the cutlery was not clean, which slightly spoiled the otherwise positive impression. But I see these points as small things that didn't significantly affect the evening. The food and service are simply top here. We were there again today. It's also worth trying out the many different starters - simply delicious and also great in terms of presentation. Ordering drinks is easy and practical using the tablet at the table. The portions are absolutely appropriate. We're already looking forward to the next time - let's see what we try out.

We've been eating here for over three years now. So far everything has always been fine and we have always enjoyed the food. What we find very unfortunate, however, is that the portions have become smaller. I ate the flank steak this week. The meat is usually always cut into thin, beautiful slices - like in the photo here. However, this time it was cubed and looked completely different. Unfortunately it didn't look appetizing at all, it's a real shame... Before/after photos.

Very professional, there was a confirmation SMS when we made the reservation. Ordering drinks from a tray takes some getting used to (for us older semesters). The quality and presentation of the food is first class. The focus is on high-quality meat products, but there is also an excellent selection for vegetarians. Upscale pricing.

⸻ Wir hatten für 18:30 Uhr einen Tisch zum Fastenbrechen reserviert. Leider konnten wir erst um 19:00 Uhr bestellen. Der Kellner versicherte uns, dass unser Essen spätestens um 19:30 Uhr kommen würde. Um 19:40 Uhr wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass es in der Küche einen Systemabsturz gab und wir unsere Bestellung neu aufgeben müssten. Man versprach uns, dass das Essen in 15 Minuten da sein würde – aber um 20:00 Uhr hatten wir immer noch nichts bekommen. Erst nach erneutem Nachfragen bekamen wir unser Essen schließlich gegen 20:30 Uhr. Das Essen war zwar lecker, aber der gesamte Ablauf war eine Katastrophe. Die Organisation ließ stark zu wünschen übrig, und für ein Fastenbrechen so lange auf das Essen zu warten, ist einfach nicht akzeptabel. Zudem fiel uns auf, dass die Kellner kaum Deutsch sprachen, was die Kommunikation erschwerte. Insgesamt leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung – ob ich noch einmal hingehe, weiß ich nicht.
