Restaurant Muskat in Erlangen

Schöner Innenhof. Wir waren mittags da und haben das Menü für 25 Euro genommen - Salat, veganes Hauptgericht, Nachspeise und Espresso. Der Service war nett, da kann man auch mal länger sitzen bleiben!

Ein sehr nettes, kleines Restaurant mit einer kleinen, aber feinen Speisekarte. Wir hatten jeweils ein vegetarisches und ein fleischhaltiges Menü gewählt. Beides war sehr schön angerichtet und ausgesprochen lecker. Der Service war entspannt und nett, so dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben und gerne wiederkommen werden.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant „per Zufall“ entdeckt, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Online Reservierung klappte ohne Probleme. Die Abendkarte war klein aber durchdacht und man konnte alles individuell zusammenstellen, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir hatten sowohl eine vegetarische und eine Fleischvariante ausgewählt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir hatten online gesehen, dass es im Muskat ausschließlich Bio und Produkte aus der Umgebung gibt und waren interessiert. Beim Essen waren wir echt überrascht, dass es nicht nur super hochwertige Zutaten sind, sondern auch richtiges fine dining ist. Immer wieder neue Karte, Rezepte werden sich immer wieder neu ausgedacht. Essen wirklich mega gut! Der Service war höflich, zuvorkommend und hat jedes Gericht erklärt. Die einzelnen Gerichte sind natürlich nicht billig, gleichzeitig haben wir das Gefühl, dass die Preise hier echt angemessen sind. Wenn es mal wieder einen Anlass gibt, werden wir wiederkommen!

Tolles Team mit frischen Ideen. Saisonal, auf den Punkt und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Weinberatung war ebenfalls klasse. Der Innenhof war sehr angenehm.

Spontan haben wir eine alternative Lösung für unser Hochzeitsessen mit 32 und den Sektempfang für ca. 70 Gäste gesucht und im Muskat gefunden. Die Kommunikation war professionell, sehr sehr nett und unkompliziert! Zacharias und sein Team haben am Tag selbst auch absolut abgeliefert- das Essen und der Wein waren hervorragend und der Service herzlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und werden wohl zu Stammgästen werden :)

Wir wollten uns mal was besonderes gönnen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Kohlrabi Medaillons waren richtig gut. Etwas hochpreisiger aber dafür sehr lecker. Der Innenhof ist süß. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Seit vielen Jahren schon sind wir zu Gast im Bio-Restaurant Muskat und eins hat sich nie geändert: Bei der Speisenauswahl kann man keinen Fehler machen. Jedes Gericht ist ausnehmend lecker und wunderschön angerichtet. das ganze Team ist extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlen uns immer ausgesprochen wohl in diesem ganz besonderen Restaurant! Große Empfehlung!

Waren gestern vor Ort und hatten das Mittwochsangebot, kleinere Portionen dafür mehr Auswahl. Es war genial, konnten 4 Hauptgerichte versuchen, Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarisch, es war ein Genuss und hat sich absolut gelohnt! Auch die Bedienung hat uns sehr charmant durch die Weinkarte geführt, so dass auch ein Leie auf seine Kosten kommt. Danke für diesen Genuss und bis bald.

Pulpo in aspic was very tasty, but because of the wafer-thin slices you didn't notice the pulp as much. But it still tasted great. With Tafelspitz I would actually only have expected boiled and not fried meat. And rather a meat that is more fibrous and not so compact. Still tasted good. Dessert was also great. Would give 4.5 stars. Presentation was very successful.

Früher war dies ein rein vegetarisches Restaurant. Seit einigen Jahren (und einem Umzug in andere Räumlichkeiten) ist man zu gehobener Küche übergegangen. Es gibt eine kleine Karte mit Fleisch, Fisch und vegetarischem. Die anspruchsvollen Gerichte werden von der Bedienung freundlich erklärt.

DIE Adresse für gehobene Bio-Küche mit saisonal wechselnden Gerichten aus regionalen Zutaten. Der Service ist aufmerksam, auch auf Extrawünsche wird unkompliziert eingegangen. Ein schönes Ambiente, sowohl im Innenbereich als auch im schönen Hof. Dazu faire Weinpreise – für uns jedes Mal ein rundum gelungener Besuch.

Habe schon lange nicht mehr so fein gegessen. Es war geschmacklich und optisch eine Freude. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam und nett. Es scheint, als wären da Menschen mit Leidenschaft und Hingabe am Werk. Gerne wieder und danke dem Hotel Luise, das mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat.

Ausgesprochen angenehmer und freundlicher Service, Essen hervorragend. Sehr flexibel bei Wünschen z.B. bei Allergie. Hier ist der Gast wirklich noch König. Danke!

Alles perfekt und sehr familiär, hier wird mit frischen Zutaten gekocht und gebacken. Das Business Lunch kommt rasch und ist immer köstlich, genauso wie man es in einer kurzen Mittagspause genießen möchte. Der Service rundum persönlich und zugewandt. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Der Hund darf unterm Tisch aus einer bereit gestellten Hundeschüssel trinken. Alles sehr aufmerksam.

Dieses Restaurant begleitet uns nun schon seit vielen Jahren – und es ist für uns immer wieder ein kleines Highlight. Die Qualität der Speisen ist konstant ausgezeichnet, alles ist frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Besonders schätzen wir die herzliche Atmosphäre und das aufmerksame, freundliche Team. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Für uns ist es längst mehr als nur ein Restaurant – es ist ein Ort, an den wir immer wieder gerne zurückkehren.

Bis jetzt das beste Restaurant in dem ich in Erlangen war. Einziges Problem als Student, man fühlt sich durch die etwas finanzstärkeren Gäste etwas deplaziert.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und hatte eine angenehme, kreative Note. Im Innenbereich kann es etwas lauter sein (aber nichts Unerträgliches), und ich glaube, im Frühling/Sommer mit Außenterrassen wird es ein noch schöneres Erlebnis sein.

Wir waren das erste Mal zum Mittagessen in Muskat. Was soll ich sagen, wir waren begeistert! Super netter und aufmerksamer Service. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, aber genau das macht eine Qualität aus. Die Speisen sind sehr frisch und unglaublich schmackhaft. Für Bioprodukte sind die Preise vollkommen passend. Beim Ambiente habe ich einen Stern abgezogen, da mir hier irgendetwas gefehlt hat. Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall für ein Abendessen nochmals besuchen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Spontan an einem Hochzeitstag Muskat mit Vorreservierung besucht. Das Abendessen war ein würdiger Abschluss. Selten so ein gutes Steak gegessen. Aber auch das Fischgericht sowie Vor und Nachspeise waren delikat. Service dezent und angenehm.

Ich habe mehr erwartet. Das Essen hatte für mich eher Kantinen-Charakter.

Die Reservierung einfach online möglich, der Service top, das Essen richtig lecker! Besonders die Sauce vom Spitzkohl war einfach super lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Our second visit to the restaurant. Anyone who loves fine vegetarian cuisine will not be disappointed at Muskat. Very friendly service, the chef did a fantastic job, the food was absolutely delicious.

We were there on Boxing Day and I would have liked a little more Christmas decoration, otherwise great as always 😋😋

The business lunch package was excellent. I know of very few vegetarian restaurants of this caliber in the city. They also offer fish and meat dishes, but these are not included in the package. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a very good meal at Muskat and received very attentive and friendly service. The only downside was that it got a bit too noisy when the restaurant was very full.

The food was very good, but the flavors were not exceptional.

Great food (prices were on the higher side, but the value for money was right for us). We received good service – the only minor criticism was that the waiter didn't immediately know basic things like whether the dessert contained alcohol, which is quite common in restaurants of this price range. However, the information was quickly provided by the kitchen, and I was offered a non-alcoholic alternative, so I'm not deducting any points for that. The ambiance is pleasant but unfortunately quite noisy due to the tables being placed close together and relatively wide, and the lack of soundproofing in the room. Conversation was a bit difficult at times because of the noise – nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable evening and a delicious meal.

The food was excellent. Well-balanced and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we were somewhat neglected by the service. When we wanted another drink, I couldn't get their attention. In the end, I even got up to pay and ordered and paid at the counter myself.

Excellent! We were completely satisfied! Great food, fantastic wines... Interesting options for putting together a menu with between 3 and, I think, 9 courses... Service was wonderful, and the sommelier was really knowledgeable. Very nice ambiance inside, as well as outside in the garden. There's even an event space downstairs that you can book. We'd be happy to go back anytime. We've been there once for dinner and once for lunch on a Sunday, and we were really impressed both times. Events are also held there, such as wine tastings with food included.

Always worth a visit. The food is delicious and varied, with excellent service.

After "Muskat" participated in a cooking with friends event, we tried it for dinner. The dishes were visually appealing. The roast beef was good, but, to put it politely, "overly simple." The appetizer (pear) tasted okay, but the tiny portion size was a little too small. The "crowning glory," however, was the cheese plate for dessert. Five ridiculously small cheese crumbs, the size of a thumbnail, along with a microscopic amount of fig mustard... all for almost €20. When I consider how much cheese I can get at Waltmann for €20, this cheese plate was a disgrace. Conclusion: The value for money isn't there, even for fine dining. We won't be going back to Muskat. Once was enough for us.

The dishes are excellently composed. The service and the overall ambiance are excellent. On Wednesday, we also enjoyed being able to order half portions and the combinations this allows. Once again, it was excellent.

Well-known Erlangen organic restaurant in the 2nd generation, was formerly located at the Old Town Church Square

We have been to Muskat several times, but most importantly we celebrated our wedding here two weeks ago. The food, service, and atmosphere are impeccable. The quality of ingredients is especially good. The staff are English-speaking which helped a lot for our party. We are very grateful to have chosen such a wonderful place to celebrate our marriage. We will be coming back again and again to reminisce and enjoy even more great food!

We highly recommend muskat for catering an event (in our case, a wedding)! From the very beginning, working with Zacharias was completely straightforward, transparent, and open to our wishes. We were particularly impressed that even our favorite tapas – which are relatively unknown in Germany – were executed without any problems and delivered in excellent quality. The two employees who delivered the food were also incredibly personable, kind, and welcoming. The food was an absolute highlight in terms of taste and delighted all of our guests without exception – whether it was the tender braised veal cheeks, the homemade gnocchi, or the perfectly roasted salmon with sage butter. The presentation was also beautiful – so stylishly arranged that it didn't seem at all delivered, but rather freshly prepared on site. The price-performance ratio (we contacted several other caterers in the region, and such quality was nowhere near achievable for this price) is absolutely fair, and we couldn't have imagined a better caterer for our wedding. We're sure some of our guests will also choose muskat for their own celebrations. For catering, choose muskat—thank me later! ✨

Very friendly service and all lunch dishes were very tasty and the wine recommendation was great. The guest garden was still a bit pre-summer in design and the table settings with paper napkins and no tablecloth lagged behind the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, recommended and it was worth the detour.

Very fine food. The portions are not plentiful, but they are really very delicate and beautifully prepared. Friendly service. It took a while, considering there wasn't much going on. That's how ma had it n more time to chat. Definitely not something I can handle very often for my normal wallet, but it's something special.

We were there for dinner at the end of December. The atmosphere is very cozy and yet modern. The staff is incredibly attentive, very friendly and competent. The food was a delight. Small menu, changing daily. Three different starters. Always meat, fish or seafood, vegetarian and vegan. Two desserts. Great selection for wine drinkers with optimal advice 👍 An absolute must when you are in Erlangen. ☺️

First of all, I would like to positively emphasize that the products are organic, which is unfortunately rare. However, the food is not worth the money. Prices that I pay in higher-end restaurants in Switzerland with worse service and mediocre taste. Unfortunately, the roast beef was extremely tough for both of us. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, I mentioned this and unfortunately only received a “thank you”. The taste was also no more than mediocre. At this price you can expect a little more. Wine will not be poured, creations will not be presented or introduced. Clearing the tables also took a relatively long time. All in all, nothing special and there are definitely better places for the money.

I can fully recommend the Muskat restaurant. Both the quality of the food and the service are top. The menu - at least for me - always offers new, successful creations.

The portion sizes are quite small. Everything tasted excellent and was very nicely prepared.

Super delicious ORGANIC food - the porcini mushroom risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms is a dream. Nice, competent service and what made me very happy was that even though I was alone on a business trip, I didn't have to sit at the cat table 😉 but had a wonderful place!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! Service is pretty bad if you're honest, not unfriendly but just unprofessional. The kitchen makes up for everything. Not a cheap evening but if you're looking for quality and taste, you've come to the right place.

Very tasty and seasonal food, great service in a very pleasant atmosphere (inside and outside). What you should know: The menu adapts weekly to the seasonal products, so it is rather small but very tasty.
