I had a dish from the board's "recommendation," goat cheese with pine nuts and grilled vegetables. The cheese, along with plenty of pine nuts, was fine, but the garnished vegetables were three slices of zucchini and two quarters of a red bell pepper, and the rest was filled with salad. A shame. For the price, I expected something different.

Today we went to the Post/Mediteran Pizzeria for lunch again. It was like coming home. A friendly welcome and very nice staff. We had tomato and mozzarella and tuna pizza. The food was delicious. Thank you for this wonderful time. See you next time.

The restaurant is fantastic! The best meal I've had in a long time. I would recommend everyone to eat here. You're greeted with wonderful warm bread, dip, and olives. The goat cheese starter was amazing! The main courses we ordered were all excellent. For dessert, we had a combination of all the desserts, and it was divine. All the servers are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A well-run family business with high quality! 10/10!!

Easily accessible restaurant with excellent service and a very varied menu. It focuses on Italian and German cuisine. The village is unique, with its preserved city wall, and this restaurant is just outside it and has very generous opening hours. That's why we decided to stop by the terrace. Delicious!

You can do it. The food is delicious, although starters like the shrimp and mushrooms are a bit overpriced and tasteless. We already doubted whether a real chef was at work here. €17 for shrimp that tasted like nothing... The worst starter ever! The main courses, on the other hand, are really good. Grilled meat, and you can taste it. Delicious, but there's not enough on the plate. They should focus on fewer options and deliver consistent quality. The menu has some well-prepared dishes, but there aren't! The prices are sometimes far too high or simply poorly calculated. If you know what's what, you can go. Otherwise, you have to try things, and in my opinion, disappointment is inevitable.

We spontaneously dropped by for dinner on a Sunday and found a shady spot on the quiet back terrace. The staff was very attentive and did a fantastic job. The food was delicious and the portions generous. They also happily accommodated our special requests. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

We had a lovely and delicious meal at the Gasthof zur Post yesterday. Whether it was the starter or the main course, the portions were generous and very tasty. The plates were warm. The staff was prompt and attentive. The ambiance was great. We sat near the entrance in the beer garden. Value for money 👍 Service 👍 Food 👍 Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hot food served all day, a good selection and friendly service.

We visited the restaurant today and took our order outside. Pizza with asparagus and salmon, or with asparagus and Parma ham. We'd say these were some of the best pizzas we've had in the last 25 years. The crust cracked like a crème brûlée while eating, and even the middle was full of shit. The toppings were also excellent; simply amazing. The entire restaurant, including the ambiance and service, gets full marks. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely plan a visit there.

As a group of eight (reservations required), we sat on the terrace under a large umbrella. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. Special requests were also accommodated without any problems, for example, for our child.

On Easter Sunday 2025, around 4:30 p.m., I even asked for a seat with an outlet to charge my phone battery at this inn. Thank you again! Unfortunately, vegetarian dishes are rare in this Mediterranean restaurant. Among the recommendations, there was only one dish without fish or meat: goat cheese with honey and pine nuts on grilled vegetables. By the way, there are hardly any options among the pizzas for people who don't eat animals. I would therefore not recommend this inn to vegetarians. I personally don't find the rustic interior ambiance particularly appealing, although it is lightened by the modern art on the walls. In addition to the drinks I ordered, I received a small "appetizer" consisting of white rolls with olives and a dip that was obviously some kind of mayonnaise. The main course, goat cheese with honey, pine nuts, and roasted vegetables, was exceptionally aromatic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was mostly friendly and accommodating. Incidentally, the prices for drinks at this inn are truly reasonable. As for the outdoor area, it can be described as beautiful and spacious. There are also huge parasols in the back, which provide quite comfortable protection even from the rain, which started yesterday while I was dining at "Zur Post."

We were there on a weekday afternoon and ate pasta with a mushroom cream sauce and once asparagus with ham. Drinks were brought to the table very quickly, and then very tasty pizza rolls with olives came to the table. The main course didn't take long to arrive either. Both dishes were freshly cooked and tasted very good. The pasta was al dente and the mushroom cream sauce tasted very good. The asparagus was fresh and tasted very good. It was our first time there, but we will definitely stop by again when we are in Zons. Despite the great location, prices were not excessive and reasonable. Overall it was a great visit to the restaurant. Big praise goes to the young waiter and the young waitress. Very attentive staff! 10 out of 10!

We only discovered this restaurant this year – and we absolutely love it! We have enjoyed coming here again and again since our first visit. The pizza is by far one of the best we have ever eaten: crispy base, fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced taste. The other dishes are also consistently high quality and lovingly prepared. We would particularly like to highlight the great service: the service is incredibly friendly, attentive and always makes sure that you feel completely at home. The location is also very pleasant and contributes to the relaxed atmosphere - ideal for a cozy evening or a relaxed meal with friends and family. For us, this restaurant is a real asset - a discovery that we don't want to miss!

Delicious pizza, good service, nice staff, happy to come

The visit was a positive experience, unlike anything I've had in years. The welcome was very warm – before ordering, there was a little surprise from the kitchen. A pizza and a salad for two people, each served on two plates – simply fantastic! Both were delicious! The fact that even the candle on the table was lit isn't something you'd expect at lunchtime.

We went there for pizza three days in a row - and every time it was a pleasure. The pizza was exactly what you would imagine a perfect pizza to be: a thin, wonderfully crispy base with a golden brown edge. The taste was excellent every time. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff, who made the stay very pleasant. The atmosphere rounded off the experience perfectly - especially on the terrace, where you could sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Beautiful location, good food, good service, and family-run restaurant. It's all ok. Have always been very satisfied so far. I come from Neuss specifically to eat a delicious pizza or a salad plate. Starters all top. Were there by bike several times in the summer and with 10 people in the fall. And there on January 25th. We've been happy so far, but everyone has to find out for themselves by visiting 🤗👍👍👍have fun.

The food there is very varied, depending on how much the chef feels like it. Complaints are addressed, but not with heart and soul.

We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. We had the sea bream, lasagne, pizza Margherita and a rocket salad. The food was all very tasty with good portions and came quite quickly. The only thing to complain about is the price-performance ratio of the rocket salad! Otherwise everything was great. We will definitely come back again!

We had been in Zons, had a very good meal, in the old post office 👍 everything was freshly prepared. The beer garden is very large and clean. Umbrellas everywhere, and since we have mobility issues, the toilets were also handicap accessible and we didn't have to walk far 🏃 the waiter was quick and friendly! So: we'd love to come back 😚

We were there with a group and were seated in the courtyard. Unfortunately, there were flies everywhere, so I can't really evaluate the food, I was too busy trying to shoo all the flies off my food (and I'm not talking about 2-3 flies, but more like 10+ on my plate). A colleague even had a fried fly in her food, as there were a lot of flies flying around in the bar and kitchen. When asked about the problem, the waitress simply replied: "What should we do?"

The food was very tasty and it filled you up. The portions were also very good, so you were full. So the portions weren't too small and not too big either. The prices were fair. The service was great and everything was taken care of and the waiters were always there quickly and you didn't have to wait long for the food. However, a waitress wanted to take my plate away even though I needed it for another meal, but well - not everyone can be a bright candle. The ambience was quite nice because you could stroll straight into the old town and take a nice walk out into nature. When you're so full, it's nice for digestion. However, I thought it was a shame that there were no cocktails. This could possibly be improved so that I can visit the restaurant again, then the stay will be perfect. Otherwise, I can recommend it to everyone and it is definitely worth a visit, especially because of the beautiful old town and the beautiful walks in nature. #Recommended for every nature lover

Nice restaurant at the entrance to the town center of Zons. There are two outdoor terraces. The more interesting one is the one facing the street. Here you can watch the hustle and bustle in the shade. The cuisine is Mediterranean with an extensive menu, including for vegetarians. The diverse daily menu is also interesting. We had pasta dishes that were rich and very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are fair. It was a pleasant stay and we would like to come back.

There were 3 of us with two adults and our 2 year old daughter eating here in the beer garden. We were very kindly offered a table and chose from the promising menu. We immediately noticed that there were no children's plates on the menu, but that wasn't a bad thing at all because we could simply order a small portion according to our wishes (at a more than fair price). The service was extremely friendly and very attentive. The food, including the greetings from the kitchen, was consistently excellent, but the fries with the schnitzel could have been crispier, but the child didn't care. :D The only thing missing from the 5 star service was the question of whether we would like a children's chair, but we could also have asked, so complaining at a very high level, everything worked out fine. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Our food is very tasty and plentiful. Pizza nice and big, crispy and tasty. The schnitzels are also good, maybe just a little mushy. Order with sauce and you're good to go.

2 beers in 2 hours says everything about the service

Despite Ascension Day/Father's Day and endless day trippers, we as a hiking group of 9 were welcomed in a courteous, friendly and relaxed (!) manner. We had a reservation, but we exceeded it by 20 minutes because there was an unbelievable rush on the ferry. No one answered the phone in the restaurant when I wanted to report the delay, probably because of... of the rush, but two tables were immediately set up for us on a side terrace, carefully cleaned and set. We sat wonderfully, the drinks came quickly, the food was really delicious, which all the other hikers also confirmed. The house provided warm pizza rolls with aioli and olives from the daily menu: "Linguine with pork fillet tips and asparagus in cream sauce". The espresso macchiato afterwards was also particularly good. And all of this with this crowd. EVERYONE👍 THUMBS UP!

We had a family celebration here last weekend, everything was as previously agreed and we were very happy with the food and service.

Lieber Wirt, bitte nimm unbedingt die Gänsekeule von der Speisekarte, das konnte man kaum essen: die Gänsekeule war triefend in Soße mit Suppengrün geschmort, die Klöße waren alt, trocken und höchstens in der Mikrowelle erwärmt, schmeckten wie Pappe. Aber der Rotkohl war der negative Höhepunkt: optisch sah er aus wie Rotkohlsalat, klein gehackt und so schmeckte er auch nur warm….. und das für 33,90€….. enttäuschend. Der Service versuchte es mit einem Dessert aufs Haus abzumildern….. ein Einsehen war allerdings nicht zu spüren.

Weihnachtsaufschlag von 40 Prozent zur Karte im Internet ist der Hammer. Anstatt einer schönen Essentafel im Zugang zur Toilette auf Gartenstuhl- eine Frechheit. Das war das letzte Mal in diesem Laden. Darauf verzichte lieben

Mein Eindruck war am Anfang wirklich gut nettes Personal und gutes zutrinken. Aber beim Essen habe ich mir die Gänsekeule bestellt und leider war der Rotkohl nicht mehr ganz frisch und der Kartoffelgratin war leider kalt,deshalb habe ich mich endschieden es zurück zugeben und habe mir ein schnitzel bestellt was in ordnung war.Aber was leider mich wirklich sauer gemacht hat das die die Gänsekeule berechnen wurde ist und nicht das schnitzel und auf Nachfrage wurde mir versichert das die Gänsekeule nicht berechnet wurden ist aber das Schnitzel das war aber nicht der fall die haben die Gänsekeule berechnet die knapp 12 eure teurer war aber auch außer 2 Gabeln von dem Essen nuchts gegessen wurden ist und das muss ich wirklich sagen das ich das sogar nach der Nachfrage anders berechnet wurden ist finde ich leider nicht in ordnung.
