Restaurant Mediterran in Quedlinburg

The food was mediocre at best in terms of quality. Dessert was served in plastic glasses and plastic spoons. We had to ask several times for more drinks.

We were back in Quedlinburg during the second week of Advent. Since we've been here several times before, we made reservations for two consecutive days for seven people. We received excellent and friendly service from everyone. The food was delicious, and every guest was taken care of. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

A clear recommendation if you appreciate good food.

The food was blandly seasoned and rather mediocre. The chicken wasn't cooked at first, but was then grilled again. The service was a bit overwhelmed. All in all, not recommended.

We were there on a Monday evening and got a table outside without a reservation. It's on the street, but it's very quiet. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was delicious (I definitely recommend the grilled pepperoni!). If you stay longer in the evening, you'll be surprised by the Night Watchman Tour, which includes a short stop. We sat there for a long time because it had a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn't see the beautiful beer garden in the courtyard until I was on my way to the restroom. (Note: This is only accessible via stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.) Overall, a very nice restaurant with a mixed Mediterranean cuisine. Card payments accepted.

Very rustic. The tables and chairs fit the ambiance, but they aren't comfortable. The food was good. The service was excellent.

Very tasty and quite decent food for the price. The appetizers, in particular, are excellent. Clean and stylishly presented. Unfortunately, the Tapas Del Mar are completely fried, which makes everything taste similar. Nevertheless, it didn't stop us from having a lovely evening there.

I have a different idea of ​​Mediterranean cuisine. The dishes were very bland. The food wasn't served together. And the staff was quite entertaining. You had to wait forever for cutlery, so the food was only lukewarm. It's a shame, really, because the ambiance is such a nice restaurant.

I was there with my girlfriend. We were looking forward to a nice evening. The disappointment was that the only thing that felt Mediterranean were the two olive trees in front of the door. The music was good; I heard the same song five times. The food was perfectly oiled; my veal schnitzel was soaked with oil and meat. The bread on the side was fresh from the bread bin; they didn't waste any electricity on it. My girlfriend had a salad, okay. It took 15 minutes to eat, but we waited 45 minutes. All in all, it was another evening with the experience of continuing to search for a good restaurant in Quedlinburg.

I went there spontaneously with a friend in November 2024, and unfortunately, my friend's casserole was cold. I told her to tell the waiter something, but the waiter was busy on his phone. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it 🙁 It really used to be better.

A very nice little restaurant in the old town. Very friendly service in a pleasant and atmospheric setting. Prices are fairly high... great dishes, nothing run-of-the-mill... We felt very comfortable! Just try it for yourself...

Very nice staff and very nice boss, you are always welcomed very hospitably and treated well. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the beer garden, especially in summer, is always worth a visit. The food tastes excellent and guests' special requests are taken into account. The Mediteran is always a very good place to go to eat deliciously and in a great atmosphere, whether with friends, family or as a couple.

Although the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, overall the visit fell short of expectations. The main course salad was rather small in portions, poorly seasoned and there was a lack of side dishes such as bread. The presentation also left a lot to be desired - neither an attractive garnish nor a lovingly prepared children's plate were recognizable. When it came to taste, there was light and dark: While the basil pasta unfortunately tasted a bit bitter, the quality overall wasn't bad - but definitely not appropriate for the price. What was disappointing was the toilet, which was in poor condition and didn't fit with the otherwise decent ambience. What the restaurant also lacked was the warmth and attention to detail that one is used to in Quedlinburg. Overall a solid experience, but one could have expected more for the price.

Stopped here with friends for a cozy end to the day. The waiter was very accommodating and fulfilled all of our requests. Since we had everything laid out on the table in the southern style and everyone could have whatever they wanted, we had a southern evening feeling despite the lousy weather.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service and rich plates. We were thrilled and left the restaurant well-fed. Thanks to the nice neighboring table we had ouzo and eggnog with ice cubes, thank you again😎👍

Unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered warm starter - came cold Ordered stuffed pork fillet - got stuffed pork loin. When it comes to beef steak, you don't ask how you want it to be fried. It's very uncomfortable and cold up in the restaurant. Waited forever for service and after 20 minutes we went downstairs. If you request a bill, you will receive a total bill with food written on it and the total. Unfortunately not recommended!

Die Vorspeise „Bruschetta“ war ohne jegliche Würze. Das Hauptgericht „Zander“ war sehr übersichtlich und auch überhaupt nicht gewürzt. Das Dessert Eis mit heißen Himbeeren war ohne Eis und mit kalten Himbeeren. Das „Hefe Weizen“ war ohne Hefe. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für das wirklich nette Ambiente und die freundliche Bedienung. Aber den einen Stern von den zweien muss ich leider abziehen, weil es war arschkalt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht!

The service guys were quick, friendly and very attentive. The food was great and the waiting time wasn't particularly long. What is always very important to me, the toilets were clean, nothing to complain about. I really felt very comfortable here. Thanks to the whole team for the cozy evening :)

Unfortunately, the food arrived lukewarm, almost cold. It was busy, both floors were completely full, but only one waiter on site. Despite speaking to us, we were ignored or orders were forgotten. Ambiance was catastrophic. We sat between stacked chairs and a fallen picture... The waiter was extremely stressed and spread that mood. There was also a bad atmosphere between the boss and the waiter...disagreements were aired in front of the guests. Not recommended.

Chicken & dill potatoes baked with cheese. Had the consistency of soup. The chicken was almost raw and inedible. No attempt was made to correct this and the full price was still charged. Absolutely not recommended.

We discovered this restaurant by chance on the way to go shopping. Since it was very difficult for us to get a table anywhere during the holiday week, we went straight in and were lucky. Since we were on vacation, we both treated ourselves to the rump steak with Gorgonzola sauce and rosemary potatoes. And we weren't disappointed. The different cooking levels we wanted were met perfectly. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, I just think that his colleague could have supported him more because he was very busy and she was holding on to the counter at times. The restaurant itself was a bit outdated and mixed up, Mediterranean squeezed into an old Harz traditional restaurant. But it's a matter of taste. Otherwise everything was great

First of all: We now know that I rate honestly and fairly! It started with the fact that there was still lipstick on my wine glass, that's not allowed, but it can happen. But then it started: I ordered sliced ​​beef steak deglazed with cognac sauce. There were 4 slices (enough), different thicknesses. The first thin piece was really tender and tasty. The second piece, a little thicker, was a little more sinewy and difficult to cut and eat; but it still worked😏. Then came the third piece, which was almost impossible to cut through, let alone eat. I had several people (there were nine of us) try it because I didn't want to be too picky, but they all said the same thing; The fourth piece couldn't be cut at all. After my complaint (the boss was extremely angry) I got a new plate, I thought, hey, great; There wasn't a single bit of the new meat!!!! edible, totally full of tendons. Nobody here could deal with a legitimate complaint. Very sad and unprofessional; And I actually had to pay the full price. After my first complaint, we were only provided with drinks after asking several times.

Angefangen hat es mit einer unsauberen Tischecke. Die bestellte Bier wurde nicht serviert. Vermutlich war die angebotene Biersorte nicht vorrätig. Das Essen war dann auch noch eine weitere große Enttäuschung. Geschmacklos, verbrannt und vollkommen überteuert.

We spontaneously went there for dinner with 2 adults and a small child. We would have liked to sit outside. Since it had rained a bit beforehand, all the tables were still wet. We asked if we could still sit outside. We got the answer: everything outside is wet... it rained earlier! We would have been happy about a quick “wiping of the tables”. Unfortunately the lady wasn't willing to do that. We were then offered a table inside. Some tables were still free... We got the one for 2 people. We put the high chair at the corner of the table. 2 ladies were then moved to another table and a U of tables was built around US 3, as a larger group was approaching. There is no longer any trace of coziness and relaxed food When asked, the lady replied, still very rudely, that this is how you always do it. We then had our food packed and left the restaurant. At home we noticed: the salads and some meat were missing!!

Food doesn't blow your mind. Definitely not real Italians! Service took a very long time for everything, but was also solely responsible for the counter and operation. Boss didn't help. Regular guests are preferred. Wouldn't eat there again.

Get a table for 6 people without a reservation. Waited a long time for drinks and even longer for food. A meal was completely forgotten, 1 bottle of water that was ordered, you could get it yourself from the counter, was also forgotten. The staff was totally overwhelmed. Other tables also complained when we were there.

We sat and ate very nicely here. However, there seems to be a difference between well-known guests who are greeted with kisses and others, including in service and care. We couldn't shake this impression. Our reordered lemon was simply forgotten. We received nothing apart from a terse apology. Of course, this can also alienate guests. I imagine good service to be something completely different.

We had pre-booked the table for 10 people. Nice ambience, nice service and delicious food. The only downside was the long wait for the bill.

The two of us ate really delicious food here after an evening city tour in a very pleasant atmosphere. Grilled pepperoni, garlic bread, salmon dish with potato wedges and a pasta dish. Even the mojito tasted good. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort und hatten die Menüs bekommen. Kellner waren sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen hat ein wenig lange gedauert, aber es war auch viel los. Wir hatten für den Tag extra 2x ein Veganes Menü bestellt und uns wurde versprochen man kummere sich drum, es gab leider nur eine Hauptspeise und keine Vor- oder Nachspeise. Die Cola schmeckte jedes Mal ein wenig abgestanden. Die Vegane Hauptspeise hat sehr gut geschmeckt, eine Soße wäre noch gut gewesen.

Unsere Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren ein bisschen größer als normal. Preislich empfand ich das Restaurant als teurer als normal. Am Ende wollte ich mit einer EC-Karte bezahlen. Uns wurde gesagt: "heute nicht". Nachdem ich gesagt habe, dass ich kein Bargeld habe, ging es doch. Das habe ich nicht wirklich verstanden.

Tel. Tischbestellung auch während der "Höfe" möglich - SUPER !! Essen lecker, Service freundlich, Preise wie überall etwas überteuert !! ...insgesamt EMPFEHLENSWERT !!

Essen war wie immer top. Leider war es total voll und wir hatten keinen Tischservice.

wir waren am Montag hier mit Reservierung (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und 1 Kleinkind, für das wir nach dem Hochstuhl und einem Strohhalm mindestens jeweils 4 mal erfolglos nachgefragt hatten). Viele andere Restaurants in Quendlinburg sind geschlossen. Die Preise sind überteuert, was zu den Gerichten nicht passen-Stück Fleisch mit Kartoffeln 23-24€..na ja als wir gekommen sind: unsere Tischdecke hat nach dem alten Lappen gestunken, wir haben gesagt, dass sie uns bitte diesen Überwurf tauschen, die Kellnerin sagte, diese ist neu, aber wir tauschen gleich. 30 Minuten später kam der Kellner,hat diesen Überwurf mit dem Schwamm "sauber" abgewischt, der Geruch war aber noch intensiver. Mit der Zeit wurde natürlich besser, aber hat auf unseren ersten Eindruck gewirkt.  Die Kellner laufen wie verrückte, allem Anschein nach, aufgrund von Personalmangel. Wartezeit auf Vorspeise : 40 Minuten danach noch auf Hauptgerichte noch 30 Minuten. Leider kam das Essen lauwarm-kalt, und mit vergessenen dazu Saucen. Wir hatten Rindersteak und Lammfleisch bestellt-das war lecker. Mit den Goodies für Kinder aufpassen-abgelaufen seit 1 Jahr Produkte. Ansonsten das Personal nett und versucht die Kunden zufrieden zu stellen. Das ist der Punkt für den Chef - die Unterbesetzung wirkt auf Quantität. Vielleicht sieht es an anderen Tagen nicht so aus...Schade..

Es ist kaum möglich für für dieses Restaurant bei dem ich mich schon frage warum es Mediterran heißt ein Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu bestimmen, da Speisen und Service nicht viel mit Leistung zu tun haben. Lieblos trifft es am Ende vllt. am Besten.

Kleine Speisekarte, was aber nicht unbedingt nachteilig sein muss. Das Essen war gut und der Service sehr freundlich. Empfehlenswert wäre, das die Kellner ihr Outfit (Jeans und T-Shirt) freundlicher gestalten würden. Vielleicht eine schwarze oder weiße lange Schürze darüber? Preis / Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Wir waren heute zu 9. zum Abendessen im Restaurant Mediterran und waren hingegen der letzten schlechten Rezesionen zunächst vorsichtig aber dann doch sehr positiv überrascht. Das Ambiente ist toll, die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und haben sich mehrfach erkundigt. Also der Service war sehr gut. Wir haben auch in einer angemessenen Zeit unser Essen bekommen, was weder kalt noch versalzen usw. war. Ich hatte Kalbsschnitzel überbacken und mein Partner Hühnchen mit Tagliatelle und Gorgonzolasoße. Beides super lecker. Auch die Vorspeisen am Tisch, wie Bruschetta und Fetakäse auf Gemüse sahen super aus und wurden gelobt. Auch die anderen Speisen hat jeder gelobt. Also wir kommen wieder, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe seien sollten.

We were 2 adults and a 5-year-old kid on a Sunday for dinner. The restaurant was almost full with the waiters literally running from one side to the other. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for some chicken nuggets and a plate of seafood. I understand that the seafood may take some time to prepare but they didn’t even offer the option to bring the nuggets first. Really disappointed with our experience, although it seems like in a “regular” day it seems to be a good place.
