The food was good, but the plates needed to be hot, otherwise the food was unfortunately too cold.

Excellent welcome and service. The cordon bleu and chestnut soup were delicious. We'll be back to try the Chateaubriand.

A down to earth steakhouse located in the middle of Jestetten. Food and drinks are served with efficiency and the server is friendly although looks like a one man band multitasking so some tables don't get cleared up.

Good meat dishes at fair prices. The side dishes, sauces, herb butter, etc., are palatable, but could be better in my opinion; they seem a bit uninspired. The ambiance is nice, but it doesn't really feel like a steakhouse. The service is very friendly and efficient. I'd gladly come again, perhaps with more refined sauces next time...?

The food was absolutely terrible. My fries were rock hard and inedible; the food was tasteless and prepared without any care. The order was also incomplete. We will never eat there again! Unfortunately, it's not possible to give zero stars!

Unfortunately, our experience on Saturday evening fell short of expectations. The food, including the beef fillet, was served cold. The service also seemed inattentive, as we had to ask for drinks several times. For over €500, we expected a more cohesive overall experience. It's a shame, because the restaurant definitely has the potential to attract regular customers.

Unfortunately, the food was more expensive than the menu price. That's unacceptable! A small Ramazotti cost €8.90. That's definitely too much. They said tip wasn't included either. That's a rip-off! Never again!

We were a large group and eager to experience the restaurant and the food. First off, the quality of the meat was very good. However... all the cuts of meat, practically all the beef tenderloin, were served cold. The herb butter in the picture is still intact, nothing melted. At least one waitress made an effort. One waiter couldn't speak German (a definite no-go) and was wearing sweatpants (also a definite no-go). We had to wait a very long time for our food to be served. It's a real shame, because, as already mentioned, the meat was of very good quality. For the price of around €550, one expects something better. A little more effort from the staff and better timing in serving the food would have resulted in a higher rating.

Unfortunately, they didn't ask how I'd like my meat. The outdoor area, right on the street, isn't that great, and even though it's built into the building, they still smoke there. Even with the windows open, the smell is still quite noticeable. Regarding the interior, I can only say that it looks very appealing, as I only went in briefly.

Great place , food was nice, size of dish enough. The service was excellent. We had the pork a little bit under cooked, the waitress told us it was not a problem and a few minutes later the pork return back to our table all this smiling and apologiesing. We arrived at 14h30 , we had to wait a little bit for the dish but this was quite understandable as we were happy to find a restaurant open. We highly recommend.

We eat there every now and then. Our grandchildren love eating there too. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the children feel welcome too. The food has always been good, and the meat is always perfectly prepared. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

I would never have thought that this former, rather mediocre, dingy Greek restaurant would suddenly transform into a first-class temple of outstanding quality, with an owner who conjures up perfection down to the smallest detail. Cleanliness, attentiveness, and excellent cuisine—everything is perfect, from the ambiance to the food, and the prices are completely fair—it's a pleasure to go there.

We went at lunchtime and received excellent service. There were few customers, so the service was quick and attentive. The food was very good, especially the tomato soup and Greek moussaka. If I lived nearby, I'd go there often.

Super friendly welcome. The woman who served us was simply fantastic. Attentive, unobtrusive, and courteous. The food was excellent. Special requests were easily accommodated. My meat, a 300g rib-eye steak, was cooked to perfection, medium rare and tender as butter. The fries were crisp and fresh. All in all, a fantastic experience. Thank you very much.

Came here after trying to get into an empty restaurant that only took reservations!! Boy did we win out. Very clean and quaint location, nicely decorated. Food was a variety of steaks, seafood and Italian specialties, 2 of us had the steak skewers and one had the spaghetti bolognese all the food came out hot and perfectly cooked. Server was very nice and helpful, brought us English menus when she realized we were American. Soups and salads were very good, all food was completely fresh. Don’t bother with the Europa restaurant, come here instead, you will be VERY glad you did!!

Even though the restaurant was already closing for lunch, we (my wife and I) still got something to eat. They probably felt sorry for us because we looked so hungry, or because we were trying to find a restaurant open on Google before we got there. Many restaurants here close in the afternoon. The food was really very flavorful.

I've been coming back for years – simply an insider tip in Jestetten! The octopus appetizer is tender and flavorful, the fillet steak and lamb ribs are always cooked to perfection. The chefs are incredibly welcoming – they take their time, recommend the best meat of the day, and create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. A truly feel-good restaurant with high quality. Highly recommended!

Un anno fa ho mangiato benissimo. Oggi è stata una delusione. Dopo aver la prima portata abbiamo atteso x più di un‘ora x la seconda portata. Secondo la cameriera era finito il gas (???) ma stiamo scherzando?? Le tre portate a base di carne erano di mediocre qualità. La carne era ben cotta ma insipida così come le patatine fritte…mi sarei aspettato delle scuse x l’attesa ma niente.

Superb dining, ambiance and service 👍🏻 The meals are prepared fresh and served with taste, style and love. One of my best dining experiences in the last few months and I have returned often since.

The food was more than just delicious, the ambience was perfect, the music was at the perfect volume and matched the food and the restaurant, it wasn't too dark and also perfectly coordinated, the service was nice and the food was quick and it was still more than just perfect, all in all just perfect 5 stars more than deserved.

Nice restaurant, service was ok, but food sorry... it's a shame, last time was good. The breading falls off the meat, absolutely nothing seasoned...it's better to eat it at home. It's also not ok that you can only pay with a card from 20 or 30 euros.

Were on December 25th. in a larger group there. It was really catastrophic. The only thing that can be positive is that they canceled my meal without any problems. However, I don't go out to eat just to not eat.🫣. A colleague then wrote a review, which the operator had deleted. So here again from my side: It wasn't our first time there but definitely our last time. Unfortunately, things have developed very negatively in the past which is a real shame. I've never had someone so unfriendly and unmotivated service specialist had as on December 25th, 2024. We specifically chose the Mario Belli Restaurant to go with us To toast the old year with family and friends Cozy something to eat and there were 10 people. It already has started that she didn't know about our reservation even though we had called again specifically to tell us allow confirmation. That's why she had to give us a table Prepare for 10 people. But it had enough space and her had no additional stress because of the restaurant was almost empty all evening. But from then on she was right moody to us because she didn't feel like working. All No guests felt really uncomfortable, which was a shame Unfortunately, the food was completely overcooked and the quality was no longer up to par, with 10 plates and various starters Unfortunately, they weren't really edible for half of it. It never used to be like that, which I think is a shame. We had that feeling as if they were just happy when we were gone and them Can finish work. 1 star – an absolute failure! This restaurant is really not recommended. As soon as you enter, you notice that nothing is right here. The smell in the air is unpleasant, and unfortunately this impression continues when you eat. The meat and fish were anything but fresh – more of the “better not try” variety. The taste is a disaster, and if you become suspicious at the first bite, you know that something is wrong. The service? Just bad. Not a word of German, which made communication extremely difficult. And then there's this: waiters who smell unpleasantly of sweat. Sorry, but if you work in the catering industry, you should at least pay attention to hygiene. Conclusion: Never again! If you want to treat yourself to a nice meal, you should definitely avoid this restaurant.

Wir waren nicht zum 1 Mal dort aber definitiv zum letzen Mal. Leider hat es sich zu früher sehr zum negativen Entwickelt was sehr schade ist. Ich hatte noch nie so eine unfreundliche und unmotivierte Servicefachkraft gehabt wie am 25.12.2024. Wir hatten extra das Mario Belli Restaurant ausgesucht um mit Familie und Freunden auf das alte Jahr anzustossen und gemütlich was zu Essen und waren 10Personen. Es hat schon angefangen das sie nichts von unserer Reservation gewusst hatte , obwohl wir extra nochmals angerufen hatten um es uns bestätigen zulassen. Darum musste sie uns dann einen Tisch für 10Personen herrichten. Aber es hatte genug Platz und sie hatte keine zusätzlichen Stress, weil das Restaurant den ganzen Abend fast leer war. Aber ab dann war sie richtig launisch zu uns, weil sie keinen Bock hatte zu Arbeiten. Alle meine Gäste fühlten sich richtig unwohl was sehr Schade war. Leider war auch das Essen komplett verkocht und die qualität hat auch nicht mehr gepasst, von 10Teller und div.Vorspeissen waren über die hälfte leider nicht wirklich Geniessbar. Das war früher nie so was ich sehr schade finde. Wir hatten das Gefühl als ob sie nur noch froh waren als wir weg waren und sie Feierabend machen können. Preis Leistung stimmt definitiv nicht mehr und so Gewinnt man definitiv keine Neukunden mehr. Aber vieleicht haben sie es auch nicht mehr nötig, ich weiss es nicht.

Where should I start... When we arrived I was in a positive mood, our table was beautifully decorated for my mother's birthday. As a family, we have several allergies/intolerances. I asked the waitress about it, but unfortunately she didn't know exactly which ingredients were in the dishes. She even advises children who have gluten intolerance to take spaghetti (wheat). Then after a long time the food came. The waitress reacted offended when I asked her, for my safety, whether the salad was without milk. Then the main courses, my horse steak came with herb butter on it even though I pointed out my milk allergy several times. She then took it back with her, after which I got a piece of meat that was completely cooked and dry, I hope it wasn't the same one that she had already taken with her. Ordered was medium. My little son had a veal schnitzel, I've never seen anything like it. It was hard, you couldn't even cut it. I gave the other waitress my plate and said it was dry and I had ordered medium. She didn't apologize or anything. When I paid, the bill was brought to me, just passed my mother's face with no apology, no comment and no discount. Then I asked her about it, she then said yes, I didn't say anything, etc., even though I told the other waitress. The waitress became unfriendly and said if 10% was ok? I would have expected that they would apologize for everything and that at least the meat would be on the house. On top of everything else, my son and I have had complaints ever since. That means it contained ingredients that shouldn't have been included. Conclusion: Not a restaurant for allergy sufferers and not a restaurant for constructive criticism. Very disappointing. The customer is not king here, the main thing is that the waitress is not offended.

A completely bizarre experience. The waitresses seemed like they weren't fully present. Also as if it matters how you react to the food. The food took forever to arrive (over 1 hour) and the food was of very low quality. We were passing through and were totally shocked by the positive reviews of one of the worst restaurants we've been to so far. And relatively expensive too!

In questo locale hanno una selezione di carne alla griglia veramente ottima. I prezzi per queste bistecche , fiorentine e tomawack sono in linea con l'Italia. Lo consiglio vivamente e il personale è molto gentile . Complimenti ragazzi!!!

This is a must-visit restaurant before or after going to Schaffhausen Rhine Falls. The steak is delicious and German beer is a unique experience. The owner is also kind. It only takes about 10 minutes from the Rhine Falls.

The food was tasty and arrived quickly - but there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. The waiter wasn't unfriendly but not exactly friendly either. When we paid we noticed that the bill was more expensive than the prices on the menu. Either the menu is outdated and the prices have changed or the guests are simply being ripped off. We won't come back.

Awful food, prices little higher than usually in Germany but food disgusting. Salats were not fresh at all and meat was like shoe sole. But if the only problem was the food, I wouldn't be writing this review. The worst thing was the service. The female waiter/bartender acts like you've broken into her house and are causing her trouble. She was rude and mocked our questions about the menu. We waited for the order for more than an hour, despite the fact that we ordered steak and salad. Experience was awful. Never again.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Service freundlich, aufmerksam aber nicht übertrieben. Salat-Dressing am Maya-Salat extrem lecker (süss aber nicht klebrig), das Rinderfilet medium rare auf den Punkt, Cordon Bleu auch gut und die Beilagen ebenfalls. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder ☺️
