Cafe Central Restaurant Pizzeria in Jestetten

Obwohl wir zwei Stunden nach der Mittagszeit (12:00 Uhr) ankamen, wurden wir hervorragend bedient. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Der Vorpeiseteller - halb Carpaccio vom Rind und halb Vitello Tonnato hat mich bereits vor dem zartknusprigen Piccata alla Milanese vom Kalb mit den Tomatenspaghetti überzeugt: Alles frisch und sommerlich. Wir waren eine grössere Gruppe, Service klappte treffsicher und effizient - schöner Saal. Die grosse Terrasse (1. Obergeschoss) Richtung Sonnenuntergang und Strasse werde ich ein andermal ausprobieren. Ein gutes italienisches Restaurant in meiner Nachbarschaft!

Super Personal, freundlich, zuvorkommend, anständige Preise und Portionen angemessen.

Ich habe mir einen Bananensplit gegönnt und der war sehr schön angerichtet und fein. Der Service sehr freundlich und nett.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service sogar noch besser. Alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und es ging uns genauso.

Das Ambiente im ersten Stock ist wirklich schön und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Leider konnte der Service nicht ganz mithalten. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort, und einige Getränke sowie Salate wurden zunächst vergessen und kamen erst nach einer erneuten Nachfrage an den Tisch. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung, konnte uns aber nicht wirklich begeistern. Die Pizza war okay, jedoch kein besonderes Highlight. Der Burger hat geschmeckt und war das Beste an unserem Besuch. Der Salat war ebenfalls durchschnittlich. Insgesamt war der Besuch für uns eher enttäuschend. Mit mehr Aufmerksamkeit im Service und etwas mehr Qualität bei den Speisen wäre sicherlich deutlich mehr möglich. Für uns persönlich kein Restaurant, das wir noch einmal besuchen oder weiterempfehlen würden – hier ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben.

Leckeres Essen, netter Service und angenehmes Ambiente. Nur das Weizenbier war bäh.. Auch die Pizza zum Abholen war sehr lecker.

Die Pizza war kein Renner. Salat wurde vergessen sowie das Getränk. Bei den anderen hat es geklappt. Man kann hingehen, muss man aber nicht.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Empfehlung – ein echter Glücksfund! Dieses Restaurant haben wir eher zufällig während unserer Bodensee-Umrundung mit dem Fahrrad entdeckt – und wir waren rundum begeistert! Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Das gesamte Team ist ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt sofort dafür, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Chef: äußerst zuvorkommend, engagiert und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns sogar spontan bei der Suche nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit unterstützt, was wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist und uns sehr beeindruckt hat. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich und einladend – genau der richtige Ort, um nach einer langen Fahrradetappe zur Ruhe zu kommen und gut zu essen. Eigentlich hatten wir geplant, am nächsten Morgen noch einmal zum Frühstück zu kommen. Leider machte uns ein Defekt am Fahrrad einen Strich durch die Rechnung, sodass wir früher weiter mussten. Das war wirklich schade, denn wir wären sehr gern noch einmal eingekehrt! Alles in allem ein wunderbares Erlebnis mit großartigem Service und echter Gastfreundschaft. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir ganz sicher zurück!

Seit Jahren ein sicherer Wert. Hier stimmt aus meiner Sicht alles: Die grosse Auswahl, die Qualität sowie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Qualitativ gute Weine im Offenausschank!

Wir waren heute dort. Das Essen war sehr sauber und frisch. Wir haben einen Salat für zwei Personen bestellt, da unsere Tochter noch klein ist und mit uns mitisst. Für unsere Tochter haben sie uns als nette Geste extra einen Salat gebracht. Ein Ort, den man auf jeden Fall besuchen sollte. Vielen Dank!

Das Schweineschnitzel ist superlecker! Die Schiffe sind auch ausgezeichnet! Probieren Sie zum Schluss unbedingt die Desserts!

Für ein kleines Event hatten wir etwas bestell und schon beim ersten Anblick und Bissen war klar: Dieses Catering ist exquisit. Es hat uns weit über unsere Maße hinaus beeindruckt und unsere Vorstellungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Die Speisen waren außergewöhnlich fein, harmonisch abgeschmeckt und voller italienischer Raffinesse – eine Küche mit Niveau. Auch der Service verdient höchste Anerkennung: Ein engagiertes, professionelles und herzliches Team, das mit spürbarer Leidenschaft arbeitet. Für uns steht fest: Wir werden sehr gerne wieder bestellen. Eine klare Empfehlung von Cross Aesthetics.

The owner, Elisa, especially deserves a huge compliment for her warm personality and for running the shop with so much passion and attention to detail. The food is always a delight – fresh, delicious, and of the highest quality. My ordered pizza was ready for pickup within just 10 minutes, even though the café was busy. Truly impressive! The drinks also impress with a great selection and excellent taste. Whether for a quick snack, a leisurely dinner, or simply a relaxing coffee between meals – Café Central is the perfect place. A place you'll gladly recommend!

Almost everything was top-notch, 5 stars. Important note: the waiter, I presume Sardinian, was excellent, very precise, and very friendly. He made the evening even better than it was. The only flaw was the personal taste. The tiramisu needs updating; the flavor was poor.

I really like this friendly, family-run café where you feel at home and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes for all tastes, ages, and budgets. Friendly and hospitable owners who live what they do. Polite and welcoming staff, especially the Italian waiter, who, despite speaking little German, understands everything and charges you with his energy and positive vibe. Everything here is delicious, they're always open, and you're welcome whatever the weather. P.S. The pizza with prosciutto and mushrooms is great, and the milk frappuccino is delicious.

You are not greeted in a friendly way, all the waiters (except for the woman that day) made a face as if no one really wanted to serve. The food... I would have eaten much better at home. No taste, tough meat, the tomato sauce was more than disappointing in taste, tasted like an opened can of parsed tomatoes. And that at the “Italian”. It's a shame about the money, it's a shame about our time, we definitely won't be coming back and won't recommend it to anyone! Peace!

We were at Cafe Central again; the anchovy pizza was incredibly delicious and the espresso with cream was amazing. I love going there; it feels like I'm on holiday in Italy. The staff and manager were lovely. Everything was great. Thank you; we'll be back.

We celebrated the blessing of our baby at Café Central. We had our own corner where we celebrated with 15 people. They decorated with a beautiful table runner, candles and roses. The service was nice, helpful and very attentive. The food was very tasty and the portions were really generous: Salad/pumpkin soup, breaded turkey schnitzel with spaetzle, vegetables in mushroom cream sauce. We were allowed to bring our own dessert. We'd love to come back.

A friend's civil wedding was celebrated in the restaurant. The brunch buffet was only partially filled, butter was only provided after it had started. Unfortunately there wasn't a large selection of vegetarian products or vegetables. To our shock, the 'freshly squeezed' orange juice in the orange juice container contained black particles. Can't fault the service, very friendly staff. However, when asked whether there was all pork or turkey, the owner said 'all turkey'. Neither the bacon nor the cold cuts were turkey. All pork. Only the friendly lady at the service told us this and not the owner himself! According to the motto “The main thing is that they should eat it”.

Critical feedback is probably not wanted by the restaurant and will be removed via a lawyer. I left a review here after a rather disappointing visit a while ago. After a few months, I was asked via Google to prove that I had even eaten here. About a year later, my review was removed for alleged defamation. What's that supposed to mean? In my review I criticized the long waiting time in the restaurant. According to one waitress, the reason for the waiting time was that the kitchen was busy with the take-out business. Surely it's somewhat understandable that this leads to dissatisfaction among restaurant guests? I gave it two stars because the food was good.

Food was just OK. Very oily. Service was slow and rude. But the worst part was being charged for tap water (!) without prior notice. We paid for 6 glasses of tap water 6€ which is ridicules. I felt like I was ripped off for being a tourist.

Immerhin vernünftige Öffnungszeiten aber leider nur Convenience-Food zu überteuerten Preisen. Das mag zwar für Schweizer in Ordnung sein - und aus Sicht des Inhabers wirtschaftlich sinnvoll. Aber ob man dort tatsächlich sein Geld ausgeben soll, ist eine Frage, die jeder selbst beantworten muss.

Lange auf die Bestellung gewartet. Es wurde zuerst nur die Hälfte serviert. Man musste richtig betteln, damit man das Essen bekommt. Das kann doch nicht sein.

Man fühlt sich als Gast nicht wirklich willkommen.
