I or we can only agree with the negative reviews here, unfortunately! We absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews here. We were at the so-called Restaurant Marathon on December 6th, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. and will definitely not be coming back!! You can't go for a worse meal! It's hard to tell from the outside whether the store is even open. Inside, very uncomfortable, anything but clean, obviously mold on the walls, the food was tasteless, some of it was already dried out (apparently from the lunch table). I still decided to try pretty much everything once. Nothing is fresh there! Spices, none. The only thing I could eat there was the liver, which was even delivered to my table freshly prepared. The service was an older, nice but incompetent lady. She didn't know what was going on, supposedly only that evening. The boss, who also seems to be the cook, very unfriendly! So unfriendly that it even brought tears to my friend's eyes... Never again!!!

A very friendly and clean restaurant. The only Greek I know in Bremen who offers a buffet, a great alternative to Mongolian. Finally a restaurant where I had the feeling that my children were welcome too. Very nicely decorated and a large selection of delicious food and drinks. I can only recommend it with a clear conscience. From now on my Greek number 1.

I would like to leave loving criticism. There's a lot of attention to detail missing here. The restaurant could be made more beautiful with love. The labeling of the food at the buffet could also be made nicer and, above all, written correctly. Souvlaki was kept warm in a container with a sausage, not ideal because the meat takes on the flavor of the sausage. Unfortunately, the liver was very dry and hard, and the pork gyro was also much too dark. A lot of things were quite empty. I love buffets and the basic idea is great. Otherwise it tasted good so far 😊 The owners are super nice, very talkative 😊 We'll test again in six months and hope that something has changed by then. Keep it up 😊👍🏼

Men and women can enjoy a delicious meal here in a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The salad buffet impresses with its variety and delicious dressings. The two soups are always delicious and vary in composition. Meat eaters definitely get what they're looking for, but there's always something for vegetarians too in the extensive selection.

We were there on November 16th for a music evening... and what can we say... We are thrilled! Such warm service, delicious food and great people. The ambience is inconspicuous from the outside, but even more beautiful from the inside. The singers who were there that evening were also really impressive. We'll be back!

Unfortunately the taste is just below average. Although we were there quite early in the evening and there was hardly anything going on, the buffet looked very looted and not very appetizing. Service was very friendly, there was an ouzo on the house to welcome you and after paying.

We were passing through Bremen after a holiday and were looking for an alternative to all the Asian and Mongolian buffets, which we generally love but are slowly no longer able to see. Even though it could be nicer and more comfortable both inside and out (1 star deducted for that), the Mediterranean Greek buffet is top for this unbeatable price. Plus a super nice boss.

I don't understand some of the bad reviews here. The food was very tasty. There was a large selection of meat, vegetables, salad, tzatziki and dips, all very tasty. There was even scampi. Ouzo was on the house. This is the case with some of the original Greeks sometimes not anymore. We wouldn't live so far away. We would eat there 2-3 times a month. The owner is a very friendly, warm host.

Food was old!!! We were there first on Sunday from 2 to 3.30 p.m. and no one was there during that time. A total of 300 places available. Never again. Cheap but not recommended!!!!

All you can eat, Greek Mediterranean! Wow, finally... if you can't see a Mongolian or Asian buffet anymore, you should definitely try something new! I'm a fan of buffet and all you can eat, it's very rare that there are other nationalities! I was very pleased with the nice service and the cleanliness Locally, there is everything there from a salad bar to cakes, all types of Greek meat, rice, pasta, fish for the children, nuggets, and an ice cream chest! I was really pleased with the really large selection, unfortunately I couldn't try everything, there is so much! A must visit, great place, there is even regional beer, Haake Beck, there is also a separate smoking room with a darts game! The Mediterranean music could be played a little louder! We'll be back!

We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we were completely disappointed. The service was quite nice, but the food (buffet) was unfortunately very bad. Half of it wasn't there, the food was old and/or burnt. The labels are incorrect. Overall it felt like the food was from the previous day.

We only had something to drink, the buffet was completely empty because there was nothing going on and didn't look appetizing. The waiter was very nice. The restaurant was modernly furnished, but not busy at all...

We went to the restaurant for a buffet meal. The food was very tasty and tasty. Especially the spinach! The service was friendly and attentive. We didn't know Greek buffet before and would go there again straight away. The external appearance of the place really shouldn't put you off.

The prices at this restaurant are unbeatable. Buffet €16.90 per person. Cocktails 5-max €6.50 The buffet selection was quite good. There were 2 soups to choose from, a salad buffet, several side dishes and main courses. As well as 3 types of ice cream for dessert. The quality of the food is generally good. Although not perfect. Sometimes the meat was a bit dry/wobbly and the fries were unfortunately soggy and hard. The cocktails were freshly prepared, were quite large for the price and tasted very tasty :) The lids of the heat containers are very hot and difficult to put down. Be careful not to burn yourself here. The service is really very nice and also very interested in the well-being of the guests. Since there were only 3 calamari left in the container, she had some made especially for me and brought it to the table :) (There was almost nothing going on) Before and after paying there was a cold ouzo on the house.

In the end I decided on the buffet. A very large selection. You can eat very well for €16.90. The owner is extremely friendly and personable. A Greek buffet restaurant. That doesn't happen often. The evening buffet - all you can eat - is available for € 16.90. Of course you can't expect any game fish or lamb fillets. But everything else was delicious and was always refilled as the container emptied. The woman in service and the boss behind the counter are very friendly and accommodating. Empty plates were quickly cleared away. The drink prices are also very moderate. The ambience is somewhat simple with modern furniture. Everything in the sanitary was also great. You're welcome to go there again

I was there 1-2 years ago. Unfortunately it wasn't nice at all and the food didn't taste good at all. Unfortunately it was a complete failure.

I like to go there on my bike and I do everything TipTop, no matter what I take, it's always 100% delicious, the fact that I can never eat everything at once is no problem if Apostolos always means well to me. I'm in Freitach after work my bike is back too. 1+*

If I could I would give ZERO stars.... Unfortunately! We came here because of the positive reviews, but when we entered the store we had to turn around straight away. The boss was very friendly, but seemed very overwhelmed. There was no one else in the store besides him! Then... The food: Over half of the food wasn't there at all. The rest is unfortunately old, without taste or only a particle in it. Bread dry, salads already brownish. Shockingly bad and I felt sorry for the boss. In the end we only paid half because we were also honest. So conclusion: The shop would have to be turned completely inside out so that there is movement there. Unfortunately, no one was there except us at the beginning. Not recommended. A pity!

Leider kann ich die hohen Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen, Das einzige was ich ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen kann, sind die Weinblätter. Buffet erinnert an Sommerlagerkamp und wenig einladend. Machen sie sich selbst ein Bild bevor sie Bestellung aufgeben. Auf einem bekannten enlichem Portal wurden meine negativen Bewertungen immer sofort raus gezogen, - sehr merkwürdig. Auch die Gästezahlen an einem Samstag Abend sehr überschaubar (drei Pärchen) es hat sich wohl das gehobene Ambiente und einmalige Menü raumgesprochen.

Mega. We came to this through City4Two. Please come here. It was once a video store and now a great restaurant with a separate smoking dining area. Lots of choice at the buffet. There is a buffet at an unbeatable price! Everything tastes great. The starter buffet alone will fill you up thanks to the large selection - various dips, tzatziki, salads, antipasti, grape leaves, soups, bread... The main courses have everything your heart desires; Lamb, squid rings, gyros, bifteki, scampi, pork medallions etc. etc. There is no skimping on the side dishes either. There is a large selection of different vegetables, fries, potato wedges, tomato rice. As well as bread. Various types of ice cream, a small selection of cakes and fruit are available for dessert. And there are various sauces such as chocolate, caramel and others. It is a very large restaurant, so the cosiness is lost a bit. It would be interesting to mention for smokers that there is a separate, separated area. You can also play billiards or darts there. So now for the drinks. There is a huge selection of cocktails and long drinks. These are also available at an incredibly low price (most expensive cocktail €6.50). The boss is also just great! Special requests, e.g. in the case of intolerances, are implemented conscientiously and with heart. If you don't come here, you're missing out on a great experience! We now have a new FAVORITE GREEK! We're happy to take the trip.

We used the delivery service for the first time. Delivery was quick, very large portions. We had the Athens plate twice. The food was hot and super tasty.

Went here with the children for the lunch buffet. Staff was friendly, table was provided. The lunch buffet was relatively simple and could have been much better. Fries limp and not salted, salads partly dried out. At least it was cheap. But not really suitable for good, cozy Greek food.

I've never eaten Greek so badly!!! Everything was dry and cold. I don't know how the 5 stars come together here. He wouldn't survive with us in Haan!!!

Yesterday we were invited to a birthday party from Pott in Bremen, the service was very nice, the food, starter and main course were very tasty, the boss was very accommodating. Any time again when we are in Bremen.

This is a case for the restaurant rescuers. I don't think it works here at all. I can't take all the good reviews seriously.

I only rate the food from the buffet. There are all sorts of things on offer. But just like with a buffet, it's always like that. Overall not so good. The atmosphere looks like a Chinese restaurant. Large room with lots of benches. The room is divided lengthwise in the middle with green plants. Otherwise very simple and bleak. I still see clear possibilities for changes here to make the whole thing a little more stylish. But you also have to say that the prices for food and drink are very cheap.

I came here for the first time on a Sunday with two other people and there was enough space and the buffet was well filled. Drink orders came quickly and food was delicious. Especially the salad bar. What I don't like is that some of the main courses are already lukewarm. Nevertheless, I would like to come back because you can tell from the boss how much passion and sweat goes into the restaurant. We are now also greeted and farewelled personally. We will definitely come often and will take other friends and acquaintances with us in the future. Normally I'm not a fan of buffet style southern food.

Today colleagues and I talked about you, so I came to the conclusion: You deserve a review: Due to the size and arrangement of the tables, the dining room does not give rise to euphoric feelings. Personally, I also like the small dark wood booths of a Greek restaurant of the past. Positively unlike many other buffet restaurants, there are tablecloths, a flower vase and a candle. The food... we also found one or two points of criticism from previous reviewers, but what are we talking about? We paid 16.90 euros per person. A currywurst with fries now costs almost 10.00 euros? So with what expectations do I go here? Tzatziki very tasty, feta cheese, meat something for everyone. The gyros in Metaxa sauce had been in our container for a while. And it was so delicious, no thin sauce that escapes the plate or tastes like pure alcohol. Simply delicious. If Acropolis and Metaxa shuddered? Then you have to go to a restaurant where grill plates and tzatziki cost almost 30.00 euros together. We were also asked several times whether we would like anything else or whether something should be prepared extra? When my son asked, he received an extra portion of freshly fried scampi. And then we come to the service... The lady who served us was very friendly, very attentive, and the boss regularly asked us how it tasted and whether we would like anything else. Ein grausames Erlebnis! Gerichte vom Büfett das eigentlich an Sommerlager erinnert. Geschmacklich kann ich mit ruhigen Gewissen Weinblätter empfehlen. Wir sind hier gekommen nur wegen den City for two Gutschein und würden das Essen nicht mal zu haben Preis empfehlen P.S. zum Nachtisch Eis - war ok

Vorsicht!!! Das Restaurant war bis vor 2 Wochen mit 3,9 Sternen bewertet. Seit dem 16.01.24 sind wundersamer Weise 9 negative Bewertungen verschwunden. Somit aktuell 4,5 Sterne. Ich war dort vor einem Jahr nach der Eröffnung Essen gewesen. Meine Eindrücke wurden von den anderen Gästen in den verschiedenen negativen Bewertungen beschrieben, wie ich es auch wahrgenommen habe. Ich hatte auf eine Bewertung verzichtet um dem neuen Restaurant eine Chance zu geben. Es hat sich wohl nicht viel geändert. Die verschwundenen Bewertungen müssen geklärt werden. Sonst kann man Google Bewertungen nicht mehr ernst nehmen!!!

…was soll ich sagen??? …ich bin unkompliziert aber das Essen hier… ohne Worte… Das Ambiente, „Kantinencharakter“ mit Schimmel an den Wänden🫣 Nix los zum Mittagsbuffet (Euro 12,90) …auf der Tafel im Eingang wird es aber mit 11,90 beworben!? (Wir haben sie auf den Unterschied aufmerksam gemacht!) …der Kellner, (Chef?) nett aber ungepflegt. Das Essen entweder versalzen oder verkocht und hat keine Gewürze gesehen!? Die Beschriftungen stimmten mit den Speisen nicht überein! Spärlich gefüllt und schmeckte nach „Gasgrill“… Fleisch zum Teil zäh, das Bifteki roch sehr unangenehm stark nach Lamm und zerfiel beim Schneiden… Am besten🤣 war das „undefinierbare“ Geschnetzelte, welches in einer „Fertig-Tütensauce“ ertränkt wurde! …eigentlich 0 Sterne! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!! „meine“ Griechen, Akropolis und Metaxa würden erschaudern🫣🫣🫣 …Schade

Vor Kurzem habe ich erstmalig ihr Restaurant Marathon besucht und es wird bei diesem einmaligem Besuch bleiben. Es dauerte lange (nur wenige Tische waren besetzt) bis mein Mann und ich von ihnen bedient wurden - im Anschluss dauerte es zu lange, bis das Essen endlich vor uns stand. Leider schmeckte es uns überhaupt nicht! Für den Preis haben wir deutlich mehr Qualität und Service erwartet!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen, der Service ist sehr familiär und freundlich. Das Ambiente und der Preis sind Bombe!

Ich finde das Konzept eines griechischen Buffets mit einer Salatbar und guter Livemusik an Feiertagen sehr gut und auch die Location und das Ambiente sind angenehm. Eigentlich Schade bei diesem Potential, denn das Essen ist leider nicht von guter Qualität. Vieles schwimmt unnötigerweise in Öl und Fett und ist Geschmacklich eher mittelmäßig bis unterdurchschnittlich, habe das Essen nicht genießen können. Die Lammrippchen waren z.B zäh, die Nudeln weichgekocht und fade oder die Bruschetta durchgeweicht statt knusprig, den Tomatenreis fand ich ungenießbar und man hat auch geschmeckt, dass die Speisen nicht frisch, sondern schon älter sind. Was mich besonders gestört hat war, dass die Speisen nicht richtig beschriftet werden. Z.B steht auf einem Kärtchen "Nudeln", findet aber stattdessen was völlig Anderes. Es wird auch nicht immer genau beschriftet um welche Art von Fleisch es sich handelt z.B. stand da einfach nur "Leber", aber was für eine Leber, frage ich mich? Manchmal wird das Essen einfach garnicht beschriftet und muss sich überraschen lassen. Auch die Auswahl an Desserts war eher spärlich und das Speiseeis hatte Gefrierbrand. Wenn wir dort waren, waren nie mehr als 1-3 Gäste, jetzt weiß ich auch wieso der Laden nicht gut besucht ist. Das ist das letzte Mal, dass ich hier essen komme. Für diesen Mangel an Qualität und altes, abgestandenes Essen, das garnicht schmeckt ist das rausgeschmissenes Geld und ich kenne so einige Buffets, die von der Preisklasse gleich sind, aber bessere Qualität anbieten.

Ich weiß nicht wie so ein Restaurant sich so halten kann. Es tut mir leid das sagen zu müssen aber das war absolut nichts. Waren an einem Freitagabend zum Buffet essen dort und ich muß sagen,nie wieder. Nicht alles am Buffet war schlecht aber auch nicht vieles gut. Wir kommen auf keinen Fall wieder!

Wir wollten mal das Restaurant ausprobieren wegen des Buffet. Griechisches Essen in Buffetform , mal was anderes als nur Tellergerichte . Als an einem Samstagabend ankamen waren wir die einzigen Gäste in dem großen Nichtraucherbereich , im Raucherraum waren wohl auch noch zwei Tische besetzt . Während unseres Aufenthalt dort kamen auch keine neuen Gäste . Das Ambiente im Restaurant hatte den Charme einer Betriebskantine . Die Beleuchtung war für dieses Restaurant nicht ausreichend. Trotzdem alle Lampen ( Spots ) an waren wirkte der Raum auf uns dunkel , ungemütlich und dadurch auch kalt . Ein paar Bilder an Wänden hätten auch nicht geschadet . Der Service war aber dafür Super . Die Bedienung fragte ob wir Leber oder Scampi essen wollten , wir wollten nur die Leber essen . Daraufhin wurde extra nur für uns frische Leber gebraten . Preislich kann man für das Büfett eigentlich nicht meckern aber einige der Speisen haben durch die langen Standzeiten gelitten . Die Nudeln und der Blumenkohl waren ganz weich und das Gyros trocken. Das Bifteki war aber lecker und schön saftig . Das Tzaziki war etwas fest aber sonst auch lecker , habe aber bei anderen Griechen schon besseres gehabt . An Dessert gab es 4 Sorten Eis und dazu div. Fertigsaucen . Parkplätze stehen wohl einige wenige hinter dem Haus zur Verfügung . Fazit : Eine supernette Bedienung aber leider wirkte das Restaurant auf uns ungemütlich und das Essen hatte durch die langen Standzeiten zum Teil etwas gelitten . Wir werden wohl nicht nochmal hingehen.

Dreckiges Geschirr, alles nur aufgewärmt, alle Fleischsorten trocken, Pasta sowas von weich, kein Wunder, dass dort nichts los war. 0/5 Sterne.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Nur aufgewärmt, altes Essen,alles trocken, schmutzige Teller/Schüsseln, Nudeln waren matschig, Das war ein Reinfall. Einfach nur ekelhaft.

Essen scheint immer nur aufgewärmt zu sein und ist geschmacklich maximal mittelmäßig. Auch frisch nachgefülltes Gyros ist nicht kross. Das Eis aus der Eistruhe hat Gefrierbrand und schmeckt nicht gut. Das Restaurant selbst ist riesig hat aber keine angenehme Atmosphäre. Zudem ist der Laden scheinbar aus gutem Grund nur schlecht besucht. Auch wenn die Preise verhältnismäßig günstig sind absolut keine Empfehlung.

Wir haben uns entschieden, das Buffet trotz der teils schlechten Kritiken zu testen. Wir waren zufrieden! Das Essen war lecker, wurde nachgefüllt, die Auswahl ist groß. Qualitativ hatten wir auch schon besseres griechisches Essen, aber ein bisschen Abstriche macht man bei Buffets ja eigentlich immer. Dafür ist der Preis von 15,90 wirklich gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich, der Laden sauber und ganz nett eingerichtet. Ein bisschen fehlt die Gemütlichkeit durch die Größe, zumal nicht viel los war. Wir würden wieder kommen, für einen netten Abend mit Freunden, ordentlichem Essen und günstigen Cocktails ist es ein guter Platz.
