The food was delicious. Service, unfortunately, was abysmal. Both waiters were very unfriendly and seemingly annoyed that customers were coming. One pointedly looked at his watch while standing at our table (it was two hours before closing time), while the other played on his phone in the dining room...

Service was chilly. The pizza was okay and the salmon dish from the lunch menu was very greasy and not really tasty.

Before the meal there was bread with a very tasty dip. The daily menu offers a large selection of different dishes. I really enjoyed the sea bream fillet and the cake. It definitely wasn't the last time I ate there.

My first visit was sitting outside in the fall when the weather was nice. I was pleasantly surprised, although the service staff didn't make any effort or focus when it came to arranging seats. On the second visit we ordered black pasta, among other things, and we received "normal" pasta. When we asked, we were told that we had changed it. It later turned out that there was no more black pasta. Normally this could have been said in advance to make sure we still wanted it.

After a telephone conversation where we were told that with a bit of luck we might get a table, we made our way to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we received an unfriendly welcome on site and were told that the restaurant was fully booked. Surprisingly, however, the guests behind us, also without a reservation, were given a table. Very disappointing as the restaurant itself seemed very cozy.

Very cool location with a great menu and great taste. Service goes with it. Prices are reasonable, rather moderate.

The restaurant invites you to sit outside on warm days - from lunchtime to evening, in one of the most beautiful squares in the city. Inside you will find an open atmosphere. If you don't like that, go upstairs to the gallery, where there is more intimacy at tables for two people. Everything is stylishly furnished and pleasantly lit, so that you immediately feel at home. The food could be better though.

What can I say! everything was delicious! very satisfied with the starters, first courses and excellent pizza! I would definitely return if it wasn't so far from where I live! the only flaw is the chairs and tables that need to be looked at again!

FRIENDLY CLEAN.....But the layout of the rooms is a bit poorly thought out....the upper area is too poorly ventilated, the KITCHEN SMELLS accumulate here and it is too narrow. The staff is friendly but if there are menus with different numbers of courses 3 and 4...you should mention menu 1 with 3 or just 4 courses...then there won't be any complaints!...The food/menu was ok...it wasn't particularly seasoned or had any special flavor....The menu promises more than the menu can deliver...

For me, Il Blu had by far the best gluten-free pizza base so far, both in terms of taste and because it was rolled out so wonderfully thin. Out of sheer curiosity, I tried the Goat Cheese Walnut Honey Pizza and I strongly recommend this experience to anyone who generally likes goat cheese. I really liked the ambience because everything was a little darker without appearing gloomy. It can't be described well, but it was very atmospheric and harmonious.

I was in a large party of work colleagues. We were upstairs on the mezzanine. The food was great and we had a fun evening.

Discovered the restaurant by chance and got one of the coveted spots there. We had a wonderful evening with a cozy atmosphere and really great food - no matter what we had, it was all delicious ;) The service staff were all friendly and helpful, but also very stressed - which was a shame for the girls as well as for us.

Average food, average service that cannot be blamed for adequate attention or friendliness, average prices, very nice atmosphere. In summer there are seats on Ulrichsplatz, which is (unfortunately) the best thing about Il Blu.

Well, what should I say or write?! The two of us actually wanted to have a drink at Il Blu. Nice sunny weather, some free tables outside - so let's go. After finding a table in the sun, we sat down. After a quick inquiry at the neighboring table, we were confirmed that the waitress would come to the table. So we waited. After a good 10 minutes - we were just about to get up - a waiter came out and responded to our comment that we were practically leaving with "Sorry, didn't see you." We still wanted something to drink, so we ordered from him. A lady sat down at another table next to us. She came after us, ordered straight after us (without a long wait for service like we did), received her drinks and the greeting from the kitchen in a few minutes (really in a reasonable time, we certainly don't expect miracles). There was still no trace of our order - coffee specialty and apple spritzer (in my opinion, the effort required was comparable to a glass of white wine and mineral water). After waiting a good 15 minutes after ordering, we left because we didn't have the nerves or time for it on the weekend vacation. The time periods were determined after mutual consultation, but were not measured. There is no way we will visit Il Blu again. Maybe we were just unlucky, but the fact is: the performance we were offered was anything but satisfactory. Important: My goal with reviews is to provide restaurateurs/dealers/etc. to create positive added value. Please be aware that I will only write a negative review if I feel it is necessary.

We really enjoy eating at Il Blu. It's always so delicious there and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We were very lucky that Il Blu took over part of the catering for our wedding upon request. We mainly spoke to dear Franziska, spoke on the phone and presented her our vision for the food and the presentation of the food. The Il Blu team took on this challenge and mastered it with flying colors! As we were already used to, everything was just right: the presentation was magnificent, an absolute feast for the eyes and the quality and taste experience of the food... simply great! We are incredibly satisfied! Our guests also raved about the food and reported this back to the team on site. Dear Franziska, dear Il Blu team: we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your commitment and the heavenly food at our wedding! We and our guests will be raving about it for a very long time :)

That's a penne primavera from the daily menu for over 10 euros Had to ask for parmesan, frozen peas and carrots quite disappointing. No sauce. The owner was worse than the food.

I was there with 3 classmates and we ordered a pizza. The pizza was as thin as a rag and we paid €10 for it. The adults next to us had a pizza that was so thick that they couldn't cut it The waitress was rude to us because she thought we didn't have enough money to tip her anyway. She was nice to the others who looked like they had more money

On their website it says that they want to be a "normal" Italian. They are too - good pasta dishes and pizza (I'll try them next time), but they're also more - I've rarely had a better antipasta and both the steak and fish were excellent! We have eaten there many times, but today we were bitterly disappointed. Spaghetti, scampi, asparagus in white wine... it was nothing. No taste, everything bland. Unfortunately, this needs to be readjusted. I also expressed this. ....or is it due to a change in the kitchen??

I called a week before and reserved a table for 5 people. When we were there, no one knew anything about it and they said maybe you didn't make a reservation. Instead of finding the problem within themselves, the employees even make accusations. Never again .

The pizzas were great, the service was quick, and because storms were expected, we had enough time to enjoy everything. Gladly again!

A perfect end to a trip to Bremen: I discovered it by chance in passing and stopped in because it was already quite full. That's always a good sign when you get one of the last tables because it means the food must be good. We (2) were immediately greeted in a friendly manner on the outside terrace and our desired table, which had only just been left by previous guests, was immediately cleaned and set. You sit on the street that is passed by all sorts of interesting people, but is still protected by large umbrellas and a variety of potted plants. In addition to the normal menu, which mainly offers salads, pizza and pasta, there are lunch and evening recommendations. The light white was served with warm, fine-oil pizza bread with a paste made from green olives, which pleasantly whetted the appetite. At the waiter's recommendation, we ordered white asparagus au gratin with Parma ham as a starter, although the portion was large enough to fill us up on its own. The asparagus was perfectly cooked with a firm bite and still had a roasted aroma from the pan. Coated with a little olive oil and butter on not too salty, tender Parma ham, it's a delicious treat. Afterwards there was taglione with the most tender strips of beef fillet, pieces of asparagus and tomatoes from the evening menu and Vitello Tonnato from the permanent menu. All dishes were extremely tasty. But the Vitello Tonnato was outstanding: served on a bed of lettuce with large capers, the tuna farce foamed creamy with a fine lemon note, cleverly enriched with small pieces of dried tomato and cleverly and gently seasoned with a little tarragon. Without exaggeration the best Vitello Tonnato I have ever tasted. The service was very courteous without being intrusive. The prices are absolutely reasonable and even low in comparison given the very good overall performance. This restaurant is a real recommendation.

We chose this restaurant because of the gluten-free pizza, reserved it in advance and let us know. On the day of the restaurant visit, it was only after we had placed the entire order that we were told that the gluten-free flour was empty and therefore we could not get a gluten-free pizza. There was no information anywhere and when making the reservation it said that it did not have to be announced or pre-ordered in advance. We then left.

Unfortunately, contrary to what was described on the Kate, no gluten-free pizza was possible.

Unfortunately it was not possible to put tables together for a group. Quite the opposite; They probably didn't want to make any sales and sent two people from our group away again. So of course the whole group left. I cannot recommend the staff that was present here.

Selected classics of pasta cuisine with the ingredients that actually belong in it. For example carbonara with guanciale, pecorino, egg, pepper... Basta. Great pizza and other delicious dishes on the menu that unfortunately I haven't been able to try yet. Very fair prices. The wine list is impressive and the staff is very friendly and attentive. All of my companions were also really impressed. I'll definitely come back.

I know this restaurant and have always enjoyed eating there. As a guest in my hometown today I had an experience that left me speechless. There was still a table available for two people, so we sat down. Then the waitress came and literally threw a “reserved” sign on the table for 7 p.m. We were at the table at 5:45 p.m. As described on your website, our team is looking forward to pampering you. I can only interpret this as meaning that, given the sloppy and unfriendly service, this can't be what the owner wanted. We wanted something to eat and drink and wouldn't have been there by 7 p.m. I'm actually speechless and really stunned. This has never happened to me in my life or in my neighborhood. In any case, I will not visit and/or recommend this restaurant again.

I was here today at a company party. The food and service were great. We sat in a separate room with around 40 colleagues and received fantastic service.

Glutenfree pizza and many more. Glutenfrei and many types of Glutenfrei pizza are available in this stylish restaurant. Also Tiramisu was great. It's a nice establishment with friendly managers and waiters. They also give the children crayons until the food arrives.

Very attractive and tastefully decorated restaurant. Perfect and very attentive service! The pizza (Parma) was sensational, the red wine was very tasty and went perfectly with it - the tiramisu was divine. Even though the restaurant was expanded, I had my pizza in less than 15 minutes. Minimal flaw: it was a bit noisy (yes, clearly fully booked) but basically still ok. Thank you very much for allowing me to sit down very comfortably (!!) in the small seating area on the gallery without a reservation.

We had antipasti platters, salad with a very tasty 😋 dressing, different fish 🐟 and meat variants, plus spaghetti with chili oil and garlic and ravioli. The tuna was well prepared and only grilled very briefly on both sides. Unfortunately the meat was a little too done. Overall, it would have been nicer if the food had been a little warmer. But the service was great and left nothing to be desired.

A really nice evening in the “quarter”. Started at Il Blu. A very nice elegant Italian restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately a bit too narrow. Somehow I always had the feeling of sitting at the next table. Because you can't miss the conversations of the “blackheads” at the other tables. That's it with a little criticism. Food and service at a good level. From the antipasto to the dessert, everything was perfect and at the end there was a very good espresso. We had an extremely attentive service employee who accompanied us excellently throughout the evening. I will be very happy to come back.

Das beste Essen, was wir bei unserem langen Wochenendausflug hatten. Besonders der Wolfsbarsch auf der Tageskarte war traumhaft und der Hauswein lecker.

Ich habe dort das 30jährige Bestehen meines AG und gleichzeitig Weihnachten gefeiert. Alles super: Essen lecker, Ambiente toll und das Personal supernett. Wir haben sogar getanzt und das Personal hat mitgemacht, einfach Klasse. Sehr zu empfehlen.👍👍👍👍👍

Wir hatten letze Woche unser Weihnachtsessen im Il Blu. Ich gebe zu, ich war zunächst skeptisch, da man mittlerweile viele mittelmäßige Italiener kennt, die eigentlich gar keine sind. Im Il Blu sieht es anders aus. Angefangen vom überaus freundlichen Empfang an der Tür über den sympathischen Service bis hin zur sehr stilvollen Einrichtung fand ich es super und werde mal wieder hingehen. Das Essen war top und man merkt, dass hier gute Köche am Werk sind, die auch italienisch kochen können. Preise nicht wirklich niedrig aber dem guten Essen angemessen. Schöne Getränkekarte mit italienischem Bier. 5 Sterne

Das Essen weit unter Durchschnitt, die Hälfte der Getränke wurden vergessen und kamen erst 15‘ verspätet. Vor der Tür dann die rechthaberische Chefin, schulmeisterliche Belehrung ob einer knapp am Aschenbecher vorbeigefallener Kippe, obwohl diese bereits aufgehoben und entsorgt war. Insgesamt eine richtig peinliche Vorstellung….. Edit: auch der Kommentar ist unterste Schublade. Mitinhaberin ? Tür zugehalten ? Ich würde eine Sitzung beim Spezialisten vorschlagen, Agressionsbewältigung. Es ist einfach gelogen, dass wir ihre Mitarbeiterin herablassend behandelt haben. Im Gegenteil kam die immer sehr gern zum Tisch und es war ihr sichtlich peinlich, als sie uns die (überteuerte) Rechnung brachte und gezwungen wurde uns zu bitten zu gehen. Sie leiten übrigens nicht das „Ritz“ in Paris sondern eine unterdurchschnittliche Stadtteilkneipe mit Pseudo- italienischer Küche. Ihren Hauptinhaber habe ich übrigens in den 90er Jahren kennengelernt während eines Brasilienaufenthaltes. Cooler Typ. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass er ihr eskalierendes Verhalten ob einer knapp am Aschenbecher vorbeifallender und sofort entsorgter Kippe, gut findet. Frei nach Nuhr: einfach mal die F….e halten, statt Moralpredigt, weniger schulmeisterliche „Macht“- Demonstration, vielleicht verbessern sich dann auch die Sternchen bei den Google- Rezensionen… (habe selten so viele 1 Sterne Rezensionen gelesen bei einem angeblich angesagten Restaurant)

KLASSE RESTAURANT SEHR KINDERFREUNDLICH LECKERES ESSEN

Schnuckeliges Restaurant, im Sommer mit großem Außenbereich. Tolle Karte mit sehr guter Auswahl. Zubereitung und Qualität der Speisen und Produkte sind top. Servicekräfte top. Tatsächlich fällt es mir schwer mich zu entscheiden, was mir besser gefallen hat: Das überdurchschnittlich gut zubereitete Essen oder die überaus freundlichen, netten und sympathischen Servicekräfte. Zwar habe ich mich noch nicht durch die Karte gegessen, aber uns dreien schmeckte es hervorragend und ich für meinen Teil hatte eine Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten, die diesen Namen endlich mal verdient hat und ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus war. Besser als in Rom. Grazie mille!

Exzellente pizza und sehr netter und flexibler Service. Noch einen tisch bekommen, obwohl eigentlich alles reserviert war, dann zu lange gebraucht, aber es hat sich alles easy regeln lassen. Außerdem sehr gemütlich!

Überschrift: gluten-free Gerichte!!! Ein wundervoller Abend mit Freunden in einem tollen Restaurant. Das Sehr einladende Ambiente zieht sich durch das komplette Restaurant. Die nette Kellnerin hat uns den ganzen Abend begleitet und war immer sehr aufmerksam. Auch bei mehreren besonderen Wünschen und Fragen hat sie immer zuvorkommend und auf eine lockere Art und Weise geantwortet. Die Gerichte sind super lecker gewesen und schön angerichtet. Preislich liegen wir hier vollkommen im Rahmen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Wildschwein Bruschetta und die Pasta Gerichte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren gegen 20.00 Uhr hier. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen , das Restaurant ist gut besucht. Netter Service. Die Pizza Il Blu kann ich sehr empfehlen, war sehr lecker. Ebenso das frisch gezapfte italienische Bier. Kommen gerne wieder. Das Restaurant hat zwei Ebenen wobei die untere Ebene Barrierefrei ist. Wobei die Toiletten im Keller sind und nicht barrierefrei erreichbar sind. Anreise am Besten per Fahrrad oder Bahn

War jetzt mehrmals, auch mit Freunden hier...Die Karte ist schön überschaubar und nicht zu überladen. Die Tages/Wochen aktuelle Tafel ist immer zu empfehlen. Qualität der Speisen ist überdurchschnittlich! Mein Tipp ist auf jeden Fall in der Woche die Mittags Karte auszuprobieren..gibt eine gute Gelegenheit die Küche zu probieren, bei moderaten Preisen. Küche und Service Top! Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung

Es gibt hier ja wirklich sehr guten und leckeren Wein, aber die Kellner:innen sind einfach nicht auf zack. Man wartet ewig bis jemand kommt bei dem man bestellen kann und selbst Handzeichen kann man nicht geben weil anscheinend schnell an einem vorbei geguckt wird. Schafft man es am Ende doch, jemanden an den Tisch zu bekommen, erhält man einen versteinerten Blick wo man sich schon fast nicht mehr traut zu bestellen. Schade, wir sind hier auch schon freundlicher und zuvorkommender bedient worden.

Very friendly stuff, even if we were 9 people the drinks and the food came pretty fast, considering that the place was full of guests. We all enjoyed the meals, vegetarian and nonvegetarian. The cocktails and the wine also tasty. It was the first experience hier but we will get back for sure.

Heute beim Mittagstisch im IL Blu gewesen und total begeistert. Nudeln mit Garnelen, grünem Spargel und Buttersoße für unter 10€ gegessen. Sehr lecker und Portion für Mittagessen völlig ausreichend. Die Damen im Service waren sehr freundlich und stets zur Seite. Espresso und Bier waren ebenfalls lecker.

Die Pizza groß genug, ausreichend belegt und lecker. Das Ambiente, mitten im Viertel und modern. Die Bedienung nett und freundlich! Scheinbar auch alles glutenfrei bestellbar! Wiederholungsgefahr!

Nette Lage. Es war aber tatsächlich der schlechteste italienische Essen, das ich in einem Restaurant gegessen habe. Die Uni-Mensa macht bessere Tortellini. Der Aperol Spritz war auch höchstens mäßig.
